It was busy as always but because it's so big you can distance, they have someone there to give you mask if you'd like one and hand sanitizer so it's a win win. We need our glasses repaired and they did a great job for free! Kind and professional staff all taking precautions.

I only come to this Costco. St Albert sure knows how to keep shoppers happy. I love that lines get long but they go super fast so wait is never long. They always have everything I need and more. Some things I find they only have and no other Costco carries it.

almost 80% of the people there were wearing masks and they had a booth eight at the entrance where Costco was giving free masks. sanitizer and lysol wipes were easily accessible around the store too. very nice.

I Went to Costco yesterday, and could not believe the price of beef. Costco is definitely price gouging their customers!!!! I know ranchers and they are selling their beef for way less these days yet the price for a whole Sirloin which I used to buy there and cut myself before the pandemic was appropriately $65.00 each and now they are selling it for $125.00 each. Costco you should be ashamed of yourselves your are disgraceful! What the owners of Costco are not rich enough yet? The government should investigate your shoddy and nefarious price gouging practices. I will never shop at Costco again.

I'm not interested in waiting around for "first come, first serve". I pay for a membership, I should be able to make an appointment to get my winter tires put on. I would've bought them elsewhere had I known this. ** I found out days later that appointments can be booked online!!!!! That would've been great information to have the first time I called. Just another example of people not doing their jobs properly.

Great new and spacious location, little bit hidden if you are not aware there is a Costco in town. The selection is great though it appears that the produce and fruit levels are scaled due to lighter foot traffic. Easy to get in and get out with much lighter checkout line up or no line ups most of the time

You'd think with the labor day long weekend, the store would be overwhelming. 90% of clients wore masks. Employees work efficiently, happy to inform clients about products, smiling genuinely. All cashes are open, with speedy teams who love what they do. 110% love the Costco experience!

Always great deals and fabulous return policy here. They are limiting quantities on certain products which should have been done weeks ago! All this hoarding during an epidemic is a sad commentary on the me me me aspects of our society! I've seen narcissism destroy many relationships, marriages and it's working on wrecking a country south of our border with a very narcissistic leader in charge! Anyhow end of my rant, we do enjoy shopping at Costco which is the world's second largest retailer now! We have the executive membership and the Costco credit card which pays for our membership in rebates and more every year!

I enjoy shopping at the St.Albert Costco. Mostly for the blowouts and fresh fruit. Beef prices are high however at least they have quality meats and cheeses. We have purchased electronics and always been happy with the option to return if the quality is not what we expected. I hope that one day there will be an extra card that my college kids can use while they still live at home. My husband and I can't always be available to go with them, and they only issue two cards.

Costco has just about everything in large sizes or large quantities. I usually come to get groceries and end up leaving with a bunch of other stuff too. They have clothing, electronics, automotives, sporting goods, furniture, patio furniture and a lot of other stuff too. My favorite part is usually the free food samples though. It gets quite busy so if you can avoid Saturdays you should.

I love Costco. It's a great store and I like the employees. But this review is about my experience with the Capitol One Mastercard. I applied for it almost a month ago and have only just now received it in the mail. My partner applied for hers five weeks ago and is still waiting. When I was signing up for it, despite having ID, the lady at the desk typed in my name incorrectly and I had to go through the entire process again which was strange and frustrating. Then I waited and waited for my card. It arrived today with a different typo in my name. In order to have a replacement card sent I was asked to write a letter with picture id and send it in by post. Um, no. I told them no way and that I would cancel the card if they didn't find a way to avoid me having to do this. They said it couldn't be avoided so I cancelled my card, payed the balance and that's that. SO! If you are getting a CapitalOne card tippled check that they haven't botched it because it'll be a big long tedious affair otherwise. Pretty big mistake on their part. I carry a Visa with a 27,000 limit and use it for everything. Lame Costco, lame.

This Costco location is fantastic. The gas bar is convenient and flows pretty well. The building itself is very spacious and have lots of room to move freely. Overall I really enjoy this location and would recommend it to anyone that is thinking about signing up for a Costco membership

Tried to get the tire center on the phone to inquire if their tire sale was on as when they had told me to phone in about a month ago and check. Tried to do that today and after 4 tries and being hung up on without them answering, I decided to give my business to a local tire shop. I am needing 4 tires but buying a membership I guess doesn't guarantee buying good service.

My rating would be five stars, except they changed the self checkout model so that a staff member has to ring you through anyway. The whole point of doing the SELF checkout is so that I don't have to speak to anyone and nobody else has to touch my food/items. Please consider mandating hand hygiene and glove changes in between each customer.

Great place to shop. Whether it be bulk food, appliances, electronics, tire swaps or gasoline. Costco has it all. Just make sure you are getting your consumer needs taken care of between 7:00PM-8:30PM during the weekdays. Otherwise you will face the very busy warehouse and checkout line.

About 90% of the time I get super friendly service from the cashiers and the door people. A few times I went, there were 3 carts behind me that were more full than mine, and 2 in front of me that were as full as mine. The 2 extremely full carts in front of me didn't get ANYTHING in their carts moved around or searched. My cart was searched, everything was moved around, and my receipt was extremely scrutinized, which is fine. They're just doing their job, right? After my cart was searched so thoroughly, I stepped aside to see if the gentleman was going to be as thorough with the 3 carts behind me. N-O-N-E of them got their carts searched. They received a quick glance and a tick on their receipt. I spend THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS of dollars there a year. I work full-time! I understand they're just doing their job, but AT LEAST BE CONSISTENT and not so selective with WHOM you are being super thorough with when doing your job. TREAT US ALL FAIRLY, as I work hard for my money that I spend at Costco. I deserve the same respect as others.

5/5 for overall store. But 1 star for your tire centre... i would recommend better more informative service from the manager. You should also look into your tire policy.. Anthony was very nice and helpful give that guy a raise. Ended up getting everything I wanted done from Midas down the road (oil change and tires). Though i am a member I will not use or recommend anyone using the tire center.

The grossest thing I had ever seen was the manager with BARE HANDS moving mozza sticks "to be displayed better". These were being handed out as samples... Be aware. This was probably around March of 2020 when I saw this and I can't stop thinking about it whenever I'm in the store.

On April 17, 2021 I bought a Samsung tv from the St. Albert Costco; shortly thereafter I had a family emergency out of the country and unfortunately, recently I noticed dark spots forming on the screen. Because I’ve always had good experiences with Costco in the past, I brought my tv and receipt to do a return where I was gruffly told that after 90 days, I would have to deal with the Costco Concierge. I spoke to the concierge, who gave me no assistance and transferred me to deal with Samsung directly. The Samsung call center was also of no help whatsoever. I am very disappointed in Costco; I have a $2,500 tv that is 6 months old, which I can no longer use and after being bounced around for almost an hour, there is no more to be done. I will not make any larger item purchases at Costco due to their very poor customer service!

Their pharmacy is cheaper than others in town and their optometry department is great. Meat from Costco, especially beef, tastes better than from Save-on. The food court has cheap deals and is great to grab a quick lunch.

They sell in bulk, but you need to be a member to shop here. The annual membership few is around 60 cad, but i think it's worth it if you frequent the place. They have other great services such as tire services, cheap fuel sales, and a food court that's good and affordable. The customer service isn't the best sometimes, and i think it has to do with the high volumes of people they attend to in a day. Parking can be exceptionally difficult during weekends.

I have used my Costco Cash Card as a means of buying fuel while enroute to Alaska. I have purchased fuel without need of a membership card every visit to a Costco since early May 2017 using the cash card. Occasionally, I will use it to buy a drink or hot dog from the food center. However, I was told after having used the very same Costco card in Vancouver two days before, I would need a day pass to enter this Costco. The entrance employee was kind and understood me when I said I used it in Vancouver, Calgary, and several locations in the U.S. I was told to see the membership desk to clarify, which made sense. Upon walking to the membership desk another employee stopped me and said it is required to have a membership to use the Cash Card at a fuel station or Costco register. I explained I only use it for fuel, including using it just now to buy fuel, and occasionally buy a hot dog. She said at this Costco it is required to have a membership when using the Cash Card. Since this contradicts what I was told when buying the card in May, as well as my use across locations in the U.S., BC, and Alberta, I was surprised to learn I couldn't enter without a day pass or purchase fuel without a membership. This is disconcerting, especially since I have preloaded the card with over $700.

I purchased $1300 of flooring and our help was not great. We picked up the next day, but couldn't find timely help at the front as they kept bouncing us from customer service and the tills. We also had a truck in the loading zone ready to pick up the load however we kept getting kicked out of the identified pickup location because the in-store help couldn't help. If the price wasn't the best I would have returned everything.

I only go to Costco about once every two years and it always blows my mind the stuff they have in there for the prices. I always go in looking for certain things and leave with way more then intended. Only disappointing things this year was it's already Oct 17th and there were no pumpkin pies! I did make it up with 2kg of Dino Sours though!

Store was getting busy, probably pandemic panic shopping again.....but that's another issue. Friendly staff. Kind customers let us ahead of them because we were buying very little. It was really nice of them. Everyone wearing masks and adhering to rules as best they could. I was shown cell phones I was interested in, and they answered my questions well. Better deals if you're getting a plan, I was looking at unlocked phones so it wasn't as good. First real experience as a membership holding shopper, and it was good. Prices are good on certain things but you have to buy in such large quantities which is okay for a bigger family, harder for a couple.

Love this Costco. Until recently. Had two separate back to back occasions with check out staff that were extremely rude and disrespectful. I spoke to a duty manager they did not seem keen to take my report. That was disappointing too. It was a stressful and embarrassing situation I do not wish to repeat. Great location. Good variety. Consistent quality. Only downside is always spend too much. Oh... the samples. Mmm. Please like my review if it was helpful.

Who doesn't love COSTCO!!! This is the only one in town and it's is BUSY. love sampling their yummy foods here, and the little food court has some great choices. This place is clean and easy to find what your looking for. Love their selection of clothing and food. Don't forget to check out the first front till area when you walk in, they have lots of clearance items there and I find some good deals. Parking lot sometimes is a nightmare to find a spot. Their gas bar is like waiting in line at the border, always long and packed, but the gas prices are good and so is their gas.

This place is awesome! I brought back a battery that was 11 months old thinking it would be under warranty, but after looking at the battery it only had a one year pro rated warranty. The return person talked to her manager and they chose to fully cover it and gave me all my money back. Not for long though they got all that money back and then some 40 min later. Thanks Costco.

The store is great. What needs to be improved is a new hires at the tire shop. I told the guy at the till that my car tires are 225/45r18 in the front and 245/45r18 in the back. And I even showed him then I had to wait 2 hours to get my winter tires put on when I got back they put the 245s in front of the car while the 225s are in the back so they totally messed up that situation and quote the tires were all filled up correctly until I pointed out the mistake they did with the tires and so they brought them in right away and then they tell me that they are going to put the one winter tire on and since my back tire is supposedly had a nail in it from their parking lot they were going to put my summer on and it will be okay I do not recommend going to this place to get your tires changed over

Great selections of cheeses and meats, and the specialty cheeses are far cheaper than most other stores. Their pre-made meals are delicious, whether it's a pasta dish, pot pie, or ready-to-cook seasoned meats. The diverse and expansive product selections makes this a one stop shop location. Also books for adults are of great variety. Clothes are not bad. They seem to sell out quickly especially for kids. Sometimes they bring really cool footwear for kids. The thing I like the most is the inclusion and variety at the food section. I can find middle eastern food, pita bread, halal meat, and ready meals. Their return policy of course is the best on earth! Unfortunately, some services like photos are closed due to covid. Hopefully things will be back soon!

EDIT: They have self serve cashes now. It’s pretty convenient. There’s still tweeks to do to the system but it is new after all. But then at the end the machine gives you a different receipt. So you go to walk out where they double check receipts and carts and you hand them this different receipt. The person then checks you out head to toe, observes your cart for a solid minute, reads the receipt, does this a good 3 times before we are proven worthy of not being thieves. Short answer don’t use the self serve, it just makes this great staff think you’re stealing. Because I go to Cosco, which I pay a premium for a membership, then buy hundreds of dollars worth of bulk items so I can sneak an item right? Must be the grand scheme I’ve been planning. Original Review: This is getting ridiculous. Always have loved Costco, great prices on bulk items etc it is what you would expect. How ever, my review is based on the current state of customer service at this centre. It is unacceptable in my opinion. Over my last few visits in the past months I had noticed cashiers being rude to elderly people and a few others but never to myself. I thought this was not correct. Today, I was YELLED at, in an angry manner by a cashier who needed me to move about a foot because I was not standing in the correct area. What? I was standing where, a month ago, we were getting told to stand because of covid guideline. Exactly where we were getting told to stand the last time I visited this centre. Not near anyone or anything. Instead of kindly asking or just being a decent person about it and saying that now we have to stand over here and not over there, I was yelled at, in an angry manner. And I’ve seen it done to other people too. This is a terrible way to treat paying customers. Paying customers who pay a premium to access this place. Treated like an animal or a number and nothing more. If covid is affecting your mental health and you shouldn’t be working around the public then stay home, don’t try to serve the public. Terrible visit here tonight that led me to writing this review. Review your employees or something this is not a good way to do business.

Legendary customer service. If you're not happy with anything you buy they will sort it out for you. I've never had any bad experience here. Be careful buying some tech products here. Although you will always get brand new products, they sometimes are older generation products that are still being sold at full price (like the Bose Soundlink Mini 1).you can often find these older products elsewhere for much less than at Costco. Other times they will carry current products at significantly discounted prices. Do your research before buying and you'll be golden. This particular location has very poor cellular reception in the building for some reason. No big deal. Highly recommended. Like I said, legendary customer service.

There is no comparison between the Costco in Orillia and the Costco in Brampto (3 star). The Orillia location is considerably better than what you find in the Brampton area. Orillia location is clean, organized and supported by great staff....... when I'm in need of a larger grocery purchase the Orillia location is my go to destination

Walk up seperately from your date and ask to grab a sample for your partner as well and vice versa, it works every time!!

When we visited the whole place was kinda swamp specially the cashier. With covid around I recommend bringing a sanitizer. They were also kinda inconsistent with what they say. Doing subtotal was allowed on selfcheck out before but then when we did came suddenly its not. This inconsistency makes things a bit complicated considering how kinda crowded the place were. It has a great selection of things to buy but the experience shopping there was just okay.

Online mix up but Davis and Don fixed it. I had ordered my tires online for my truck. I got an email saying they were shipped and I thought they were in. I called the store and someone told me they were there. (honest mistake) after alot of huffing and puffing on my end, i had to come back a week later. I actually showed up to shop a day before my appointment. DON said he would RUSH my truck in and get them done while I was having dinner down the street. When I came back DAVIS took the time and explained everything in great detail to me and this team took very good care of me. Davis and Don should be recoginized for their efforts and service. The only negitive I have is not with the guys but with Costco itself. Costco should supply the tire shop with a "tire shine" cleanee. It would make the freshly installed tires look sooo much better. When you spent over $1200 on tires it would have been nice to see "shiny" tires.

I love Costco, I have lived in a fair few cities and been to quite a few different Costco's. This one is great, however, my biggest complaint is it is completely and utterly disorganized when it comes to the amount of people shopping. No one is paying attention to where they are going it is very chaotic, there's no order especially during a pandemic. The other Costco's that I've been to have it very clearly set out ways for people to go through the stores and limit the amount of people, that is really the only complaint. Otherwise it's a great Costco has everything you need staff seems to be very friendly and helpful and the store is very clean.

Its costco! It has pretty much everything you need in a store from food to electronics. Free samples everywhere to have while you shop! The food from the food court is good. Cant beat that $1.50 hotdog and refillable pop! Though the food court staff seemed really stressed out about 60% of the time I go there! Wish they took visa at times but it's not a deal breaker! Gas is usually 4-5 cents cheaper then all of orillia too!

Don't order electronic here. The warranty is nice but the delivery is very bad. They make you arrange a day a couple weeks prior, then try to schedule the delivery on any day they feel like. Maybe in store is better but the delivery is terrible. TCL delivery cannot make the stated appointment, they didnt even know there is one. The delivery is contracted out by costcco to Custom Delivery and they contract it out again to places like TCL delivery.... and do not pass on the information needed, like the scheduled delivery date.

What can I say except, I LOVE COSTCO!! The new store opening in Orillia was much anticipated and I was there on opening day and probably three more times opening week. I feel like Costco should give me a comission considering how many times I send people there for various things. My friend recently texted me where a particular product was and she found it exactly where i said it was! Lol. People ask me if its worth the cost of membership and it absolutely is. We have the executive membership plus the costco mastercard. We get loyalty dollars on both when we use the credit card. Its a little like double dipping. We get almost $500 back each year which pays the membership three times over. They have excellent prices on over-the-counter medicine and the rotisserie chickens are a bargain instant dinner. Speaking of dinner, grab a delicious, huge, cooked four cheese pizza from the lunch counter on your way out for under $11 with tax. Thats less than you would pay at a decent pizza place . YUMMY! Also, have you tried the soft serve ice-cream??????

This is one big Costco! It's really roomy, so it helps with the traffic. I'm really happy about the gas pumps. Great price! For those of you going to get gas, remember that you'll need both your Costco card and a credit card. For some reason, people were VERY confused about that. I like that they kept a few similarities with the previous location. It feels like they'll need to rethink the parking lot. The traffic in there was a bit chaotic.

Be prepared to go on a treasure hunt, Costco regularly swaps things around to make their inventory feel fresh, which it is because they've always got new items to browse every week. Sometimes the aisles can seem to be filled to the brim with inconsiderate shoppers, as can any store, but more often than not the Costco clientele are of the highest calibre and very courteous. And worth every penny not just in savings, the membership fee goes a long way towards providing the staff a comfortable salary, making them very delighted to be of service. Always a terrific experience. Be warned, however, you will always spend more than you'd intended.

I love Costco. It can be busy as hell, somethings can be a bit expensive, but they have alot under one roof and in large amounts. Win win. Everyone is quite helpful. Ice lost a bank card while.on the go and had it at the main office for pickup when I went there 10 minutes later, 5 minutes after realizing it was gone, and going back to look where I'm pretty sure I dropped it. Try samples to date hunger and keep the rug rats under control, or hit the cafeteria and grab something more filling if need be. Gas, tires, propane, indoor, outdoor, clothes, food... The list goes on. So get on down and get your air conditioned shop on, with a parking lot that has spaces big enough for even the biggest jerk, in the biggest truck. Well... Maybe!

Costco is a place that you already know if you like or not they are a huge warehouse style bulk store. You buy things there in large quantities and often at a discount. The fact they charge for a membership is mildly annoying but in no way a problem as generally so long as you shop they around once a month you will have saved the value of the membership. It is generally very busy on weekends but the lineups are usually moving fast enough the length of them won't be a problem.

Hey it's Costco if you don't mind buying in bulk it works out pretty good. I'm sorry they don't carry alcohol like they do in California. I think Costco purposely does not have people on the floor to help and direct you to products. This way you have to shop every aisle yourself and possibly pick up impulse items. Rather clever! And to keep that cycle going they move things around a lot.

Wasnt impressed with my visit today. I setup my account years ago with Costco. Costco allowed my ex-wife become the primary because she shopped there more then I did. They then allowed her to remove me from my own account that I've paid for every year. I was so embarrassed when at the cash register they told me my account was locked. The employee then started yelling for a manager. The manager then escorted me away in front of other customers. As I said I've paid for my account every year. They had me buy a new account. Basically they then got two membership payments from me this year. I feel I was robbed by Costco.

This Costco is clean, well managed and well staffed. the staff are friendly and helpful and their shelves are tidy and full. They also don't seem to mind that my toddlers came around for seconds of their favourite samples and who doesn't love a happy toddler? The parking is, as always, set up kind of funny but there are always free spaces.

Went to Costco to shop with Mom and to get a replacement xmas-gift sound system to hook to my TV to replace the one I chose there at Christmas that didn't work out. A young man came over and asked me if I needed any help and I said that I did and ask him long barrage of rapid-fire questions about Bluetooth and soundbars and WiFi and wires and having things hooked up to multiple technologies, multiple devices, different platforms and interference issues and he answered all of them honestly and helped me pick the best thing for my situation. Then Mom rang everything in and paid, and finally Mom and I ordered cheap poutine and a pop and a Sundae. I thought it was a good time. Overall good Costco. Thanks and merry x-mas (again) Mom.

So glad that I moved all of my prescriptions to Costco Pharmacy. We were customers of Shoppers Drug Mart, but had experienced many issues with them and a total lack of customer care. The level of care and service that we receive from Costco Pharmacy in Moncton is far above any Shoppers we've ever been to. The Costco Pharmacy staff are friendly, courteous, caring and treat you like you are their #1 customer. We even get call backs confirming a script was faxed. I honestly have not experienced service like this before from a big box store. Thank you Costco, and thank you to all the staff doing their best everyday! Best prices all the time I am a gold member and honestly it is worth it, you can shop online too and they have great deals on natural supplements. Great quality products at great prices. I'm not sure if this was an unusual situation at this location. I don't typically visit this Costco. The second I walked through the door I stopped my cart for literally five seconds and a lady bit my head off telling that I'm at Costco and this is where I will get rammed. I laughed it off but it seemed to be the vine the entire trip. Apparently you're not allowed to stop to grab something off of the shelf without the eyes of fifteen different people rolling and the feeling that you're going to get a cart to the shin. Everyone was miserable and by the time I left my face was frowning too. Staff were nice but the shoppers definitely made it a unique, alcohol at 12pm experience.

Just a review of their phone set up....I called the Orillia store and the automated service doesn't give a clear option to choose to ask a general question about an item in stock. I decided to go to the optical dept and just have them transfer me to the right dept. She was very nice and transferred me to Member Services....where it rang for a very long time before disconnecting. I called back and chose this option from the beginning and the same thing happened. Rang until it disconnected. This should not be an issue at a place like this. I am going to call another location and see how it works there.

Ahem. I purchased a blanket of the heating variety for my female companion at this establishment. We plugged in the product and waited for it to warmth. LONE BEHOLD the product only heated on ONE SIDE. After this excruciating experience I attempted to exchange this rubbish. After acquiring this newly patterned sleeping device, we plugged it in ONCE MORE and felt the exhilarating rush of almost being warmthed only to find IT WONT EVEN warm up accompanied our body heat. I think it's the high number of stay-at-home parents shopping during the weekdays that keep the lines down on the weekends. As always, a great store with a great deal on foot long hotdogs! The only downside is the rather poor management of the front end cash's. It's not enough to have all the cash registers open if you can't get through the store because of the lineups. Front end logistics are the most important issue facing retailers today, other than in-stock, and no one does it worse than Costco!

I was amazed! A new building storage in St. Albert and this is near to Costco. This is really a strategic location. It’s easy access in both ways if your going to south, east and west because it’s near to Anthony Henday the 216 west bound and east bound and south bound direction. My experience only was the outside man’s eye view. So if I have a chance to look around inside the building I could explain further so that people will understand about there business. I was interested to this area who knows I could use their storage and the most important that we know the price per unit. But I’m sure they have parking lots and elevator and automatic doors. So that people will always comeback if they’re satisfied.????????. Will thank you google maps having opportunities to express my experience. While working in company Standard General roadsides works. Costco is not only a buy in Bulk store. I only buy my meat, frozen, toiletries, and gasoline/Diesel fuel at Costco. Wondering about, I always see things I want; aside from Grabbing Toilet Paper and Paper Towel on a whim: stick to your list, create a future list of what you see, go home and filter the future list to what you actually want or need. The price is very straight forward, I can add it all in my head and not be at loss of what my total will be. I assure you, when I shoot from the hip, I spend a minimum of $200 to over $400;. I stick to my list I spend $20 to $100. Absolutely, the best for customer satisfaction. One time I went up and down not wanting to bother any employees for a Box of Neo Citran; dejected I had a few bits to go through the till, and the teller knew and asked, I told the Teller I needed Neo Citran; it was supposed to be on the floor, but they got the down from the steel storage rack above the reachable products. How many do you want? I just wanted one, I felt bad, but afterwards that meant a lot to me! Seasonal products are usually a season early. Like Christmas in autumn, or summer items in early spring. So, that Future list sure comes in handy! Christmas Lights to Lake Recreational activities items to Halloween Candy in Summer time; Wow, can I over indulge! Lastly, look around, No Employee Tends to quit, no employee does anything overtly to get fired. Specific Staff that are still there Twenty years later! Still pleasantly refreshing. Those that are ill suited to a position, are given possiblity to cycle around. One person, still works there, had to be promoted, because his ability to provide a positive customer service experience is extremely low. Every body has to start from somewhere, some don't know their limitations; Costco Wholesale always does everything to make your experience the best!

Given the current circumstances, I think Costco is doing an excellent job too ensure people are getting what they need in a safe way. There was a small lineup outside but we didn't have to wait more than 10 minutes to get in. A staff member wiped down our cart as we went in and staff were clear about the new protocols in place to ensure social distancing for shoppers and staff members. Yes, there are some high demand items that are more difficult to find but for the most part I was able to get the supplies I was looking for. Thanks Costco for helping keep my family stocked up and ready to deal with this whole ordeal.

The employees here have lately been giving me more and more issues due to being unable to block my breathing holes due to medical issues. Last time I was there, they caused a lot of grief. I used to love this venue & visit them regularly, but lately I've been going less & less due to friendliness having gone significantly down (even when wearing their sneeze-guard which has its major issues as well). I understand it is corporate policy to embarass the people in the store, and I will be cancelling my membership once my cash-back cheque from my Costco credit card gets cashed, as the experience I've had at Costco keeps degrading more & more lately, and most of the staff does not seem to be doing anything about it (there are a few staff that continue to be very kind, but most have been giving me a lot of grief, at least one of whom was directly encouraging me to cancel my membership).

Orillia Costco location is great because it is unlike other Costco's that have so many people in them. Busy location but can still get in and out quickly. Clean new and a great place to shop. Costco as a whole and this location included have been the leaders in PPE safety and ensuring customers are safe during the pandemic. Lol it's of hand sanitizer. Carts are clean. Dividers at checkout. Enforce social distancing. Many local businesses and the other Orillia box stores could learn so much about how to move people and keep them safe.

We enjoy this store because their staff and product selection is usually kept up at or above the standard from our experience. I like this Costco location. I've been going here since the location opened for the first time in 2017, and they've been excellent. The warehouse is as large as they usually are in large cities, but with how smaller Orillia is, it's not as busy as they might be in other locations. Parking is always available, and the services they provide (photos, pharmacy, food, tires, etc.) are just as good as any other locations. You are certainly not losing anything by coming to this Costco location. The gas station is also available here, although that tends to get a bit busier, so you may have to wait in line depending on when you get there. Otherwise, an excellent location, and highly recommended!

Wedding Flowers BEWARE! I ordered hydrangeas and mixed greens from Costco to arrive 2 days before my wedding to allow time to make 20 centerpieces and 4 bridesmaid bouquets (thankfully I used a florist for my bouquet and the boutonnieres). I had read many blogs and reviews that were favourable. The flowers were ordered months in advance and scheduled to arrive Thursday morning for my Saturday wedding. Someone called me from Costco the Wednesday before the wedding saying that due to a hurricane, my hydrangeas would be delayed by 1 day but they GUARANTEED me that the flowers would arrive by end of day Friday. I tracked the order and saw they were in transit on Friday and all day it said they would arrive. Friday at 5pm, the arrival date suddenly changed to Monday. No one called me. If I hadn't been checking the tracking number every hour I wouldn't have known. I called the shipping company who informed me the flowers were stuck in a locked truck for the weekend and they would not make shipments, or even open the truck from Friday at 5pm until Monday morning. I called Costco, and though they refunded me, I still had no flowers for my NEXT DAY wedding. The day of my wedding I had my family driving to every grocery store in a 50 km radius to pick up any white flowers they could find and then instead of relaxing with them all morning, we arranged flowers right up until 10 min before the ceremony. It worked out, but for all the stress, it would've been easier just to hire a florist.

Great warehouse, terrible fuel. Normally cheapest... But I drove to Smithers, 350km away and I burned thru almost whole tank. 98 litres is my full tank. Normally that distance is third to half tank on my truck. Fuel sold on July 27th (Saturday) in the evening was not good. Fueled up in Smithers with Petro Canada fuel and got usual fuel economy from Smithers to Prince Rupert. Buyers beware... It's cheapest fuel in PG... But not good fuel

Some cons is the food is heavily dependant on America. Some things I'm surprised health Canada allows through. If you ever have a question, it's impossible to find the answer. Costco Prince George is awesome. Like every Costco you've been to, it has pretty much everything you need and at an awesome price. This one also has a tire centre, and a propane fill station. The propane is pretty much half off or better than most places in the city. The gas bar is once again the lowest price in the city, and I have been told that the PG Costco gas bar will be expanding with more pumps as well as featuring diesel fuel. Check it out!

On the groceries: If you possess a large freezer and/or a large family, Costco is for you. Be prepared to have an inventory of your groceries at home. Since the government tells us to stock up for 72 hours just in case, maybe that's no bad thing. If Costco stocks your favorite items, you can't lose, but if you like a variety to choose from, go elsewhere. On pharmacy, optical, hearing aids, electronics: the savings pay for the $60 membership rapidly, maybe instantly. If you want to be in with both feet, do the $120 level and get 2% back. Having that 2% incentive will take you back to the store regularly, I m guessing. On the membership process: always seems to take a while (I ve done it twice), so give yourself 30 minutes.

One of the better Costcos I've ever been to. Well signed, always friendly workers who are happy to help, excellent customer service overall. It isn't easy to find workers on the sales floor but when you do, they are helpful. Food in the food court is good. Propane refills are fairly quick & again good customer service. Not usually a very packed location so you aren't feeling trapped by too many bodies around like the Barrie location.

Costco is one of those stores I need to set rules for myself when I go shopping. There are so many things I "need". There are lots of staples: organic greens, peppers, and apples, as well as cheese, especially the Beemster. There are also the things I don't need so much but really enjoy. And I'm starting to see more niche products too, like gluten free and carb reduced. Good job Costco!

Thank you to Kim who I believe NIS.one of the supervisers at the st.albert Costco. She really helped turn a bad situation into good. My husband had forgotten 2 milks and a watermelon in a cart and by the time he got home he noticed it was missing. He called and they said it wasn't returned so when I dropped by costco about half an hour later items were still not returned but kim helped turn the situation around and gave me my two milks and watermelon. Yes it's unfortunate that people will have the tendency to just take something they didn't pay for and it happens where people forget things but people like Kim who help those victims and turn the situation around I am very thankful for.

Unfortunately they have such bad policy of letting 1 member-customer buy all their stock at one go when items/merchandise go on sale. Other members strongly felt it is not fair. Not everyone can walk into Costco as general customer. One must buy it's annual membership in order to shop here. In this case all the members must be treated equal by giving sale opportunity to every member instead of letting one first-come member grab entire lot of sale item front of other members who were also interested to buy for them/family members. This is total unfair method of business practice when its memberships are sold and not give equal opportunity to every member. Their competitor The Real Canadian Superstore which sells no membership and allow general public to shop there has the ethical business practice of limiting 2 or 4 items per customer when they put out their items/merchandise on sale. We also noticed that Costco Avocados quality has been significantly going down since many months. In other hand Nuts & Mixed Nuts suddenly went up by $5 a bottle than later reduces by $1. We just noticed these but may be others might have noticed many. When Costco makes millions of dollars in profits hope they also equally takes care of their member-customers interest and well-being. In general Costco has best return & warranty policy. I care for Costco (good customer complain) so I wrote this review so that some one responsible in their management bring out better and fair policies.
