I generally really enjoy doing my shopping at Costco. There are plenty of employees all over the store who can direct you towards products you're looking for. The store is very spacious because it's a warehouse, but there never ceases to be a crowd of people people comes with the threat of being hit by carts. However, I dolove buying in bulk because of the discounts available and it helps feed my large family. The checkout has to be my favorite setup because you do have the option of self checkout, but you can also go to one of the MANY cash registers that are all staffed with a cashier and someone who loads all of your items into the cart. Not to mention, what lies just beyond checkout; the cafe/dining area where you can get the cheapest hot dog and pop combo in the area, sure it's a little greasy but if you want a cheap and fast snack, they've got you covered. Sadly they stopped offering sour crout but I'm sure it's not for everyone. My biggest issue when it comes to Costco is the parking, that's really the only reason I can't give it 5 stars because the setup of the parking lot is dangerous and always so packed.

We went for the very first time. Joined as new members. We were given coupons for a free can of their coffee which was a nice bonus. Store is clean, well stocked but busy....I joked and said was it a national day off for employees...it was a Tuesday and it was super busy..I think I'll stay away on the weekends, lol

Not recommended for buying fish! I recently purchased $30 in salmon to make beautiful salmon pinwheels but the salmon had turned even though it was well within its best before date. Costco will return my original purchase price but no compensation for the rest of my ruined meal. Disappointed! And I definitely wont buy fish there again!

Normally, Oshawa Costco is excellent....this time, not so much....waiting in line at the pharmacy went on & on & on.....only 1 person behind the counter to serve (not her fault)...all I wanted was an over-the-counter item...not an Rx! Told passing employee & she suggested about talking to manager and I suggested she should! Left & came back....finally 2 behind counter..why can't OTC items (Hylo eye drops) be more easily served?

Great staff and the store is clean and well stocked. The management are reasonable when issues arise and they try to satisfy the customer. Even the people at the gas station are great.

Costco always has the best quality products with reasonable prices. For the Oshawa store, they have some local and store made products that you can't find in other stores. Overall, experience is great especially with the great customer service.

Decent deals, but not a fan of other customers. They are all over the place and don't watch where they are going. I had a double stroller with 2 kids under 2 and they were almost hit multiple times

You know what it's bad when the store causes you body injury to some degree and online (email) support tells you to go in and request to fill out an incident report. Which I will be this week. Do better.

Normally always a good time 9/10 but lately some workers has seem to be " unhappy " in their job and take it out on the customer during checkout. No issues most of the times.

Bought $50 with of sirloin steaks. Got home to realize the steak was not good (dark spotting on it). Put it in the freezer, and arranged to have it exchanged or returned the next time we go for another grocery run. (Live in Bowmanville, so 2 weeks later.) Took the meat in, and the woman at customer service (manager), said sorry the meat is past the expiry date (expiry date was 3 days after we bought it). Told her it was bad when we got home and stored it. Manager said you should've called us to arrange a return at a later date. Disappointing experience for $50 with of meat. I purchase on average over $5000 in groceries from them yearly. I see Costco has lowered their customer service standards, in exchange for financial gains. Not going to be going here anymore.

I try to used the self checkout because it seems to me that the cashiers are always hurrying you up, throwing your groceries and not helping much. However, the staff in the self checkout section are super helpful and friendly.

One of my favourite Costcos. Clean and very helpful staff. Same layout as other Costcos but for some reason, I find it easier to shop and find what I'm looking for at this one.

One of the better Costcos I've ever been to. Well signed, always friendly workers who are happy to help, excellent customer service overall. It isn't easy to find workers on the sales floor but when you do, they are helpful. Food in the food court is good. Propane refills are fairly quick & again good customer service. Not usually a very packed location so you aren't feeling trapped by too many bodies around like the Scarborough location. Gas bar is also very quick. We've never waited longer than 5 minutes to get to the pump.

Headed to Costco for some items we buy in bulk. We ended up with some beautiful Adidas, Nike, Tommy, and other brand clothing as a bonus xo. No samples to be eaten in stores yet however

After so many years of being an Executive Costco member, I have to say my yesterday's customer service experience was absolutely horrible, from the lady that was doing our return to the manager on duty! He was rude, would not listen at all, he absolutely didn't care what I had to say, I felt like I was at Walmart; So very disappointing! Costco, PLEASE, when you hire new people MAKE SURE they ARE PEOPLE PERSONS. Keep your standards high.

Better get your Xmas gifts nice and early. They have a good collection of adult and kids gifts but if you see something you like grab it and decide later because you'll probably not find it.

Member only, good for groceries and bulk purchases. Prices are much lower than places like walmart and similar competitor stores with much better quality. Best thing about Costco is their absolutely amazing return policy, they really know how to win a customer forever. Staff is also polite and often more accommodating that in my opinion goes back to how well Costco deals their employees resulting better job satisfaction and customer satisfaction. Truly deserved 5/5 stars!

Well stocked and laid out the same as most costco's. Stock changes often, but the general popular costco items are always there. Meat quality is slipping though, I used to work as a butcher and the chicken is getting watery. Plus stop blade tenderizing your good cuts of steak if your cutting them 1" or more thick, no one is spending $20 on a high quality areal you have to cook to ar least medium. It makes no sense.

Not caring I had the proper documentation they refused to let me go in, so disrespectful and I feel ashamed knowing there are people in this community who don’t care are uneducated on this topic, very dissatisfied…

Big location, including lots of items that I couldn't find at Costco Ajax. Store is organized and flow of people was good, even on a busy Saturday afternoon.

It's a Costco. Plenty of cashiers but not a soul working the floor. It's a bit of a logistical mess when it comes to where things are, and I'm pretty sure that there is a real “lord of the flies” type situation developing in the toy section. The wait times are not as bad as I've experienced in other locations, and like every other Costco, they have just about everything. Overall it is a better than average Costco location.

Wow. I have never been to this store before. Seems much bigger and more spacious than the Ajax store. Heart be still, I pulled up for gas and I did not have to wait in a queue. Very easy to get around and out of the parking lot. I really enjoyed my shop today.

Precautionary measurements seem to be designed to MAXIMIZE the contact at this location!! 1)They demand all shoppers put their bills on that small surface area at the exit table!!! Just imagine ALL shoppers touch that area!!! WHY?! makes me wonder if they are intentionally trying to MAXIMIZE contact?!!!!! 2)same system for giving out mask: people are asked to reach into that small window, touch that surface and grab a mask that has come into contact with the surface that was touched by everybody else ahead of me in the line up!!! 3) people in charge of cleaning self checkout area, are responsible to do the overwrite on customers station, the towel that they use, doesn't have any solution on it. They just pretend that they are wiping, but with NO disinfectant spray!! why can't they use wipe and throw out the wipe after cleaning each station!!! the same towel touches everywhere...and I've seen many times that the towel is not even leave a wet mark, completely dried out!!! 4)the shopping cart handles only get sprayed lightly with a small spray that ppl use at homes! Not a proper pressurized sprayer like other locations...

Good store, seems to have more unique offerings than my home store in Ajax. They have sushi (not very good though unfortunately). I think it's a bigger store than the Ajax one which might explain it. In any event it's Costco, you know what you are going to get here!

Clean and organized. Staff is helpful. Check internet for busy times because it's much nicer to shop when it's not busy. Love the wide parking spots at Costco.

Very busy but manageable. I used self checkout and need assistance paying my memberdhip. 3 employees talking and when i asked for help i was ignored. I raised my voice and said i needed help. I was told " you dont need to yell, im right her" . And then make an unaudible comment. I asked her not to be rude and told her if she had something better to do she could go...she walked away. I had to pay at service desk. No real happy.

Just re-joined after 4 years. Don't have a lot of things we used to like. Great prices on some bulk items we bought. While they're meat is great,at they're high price point ,I can do better at a local butcher. Not really sure if I'll renew ????
