Good quality in the fresh produce, prices are moderate. We hit the reduced produce rack for some fantastic grapes, reduced sausages too, so left the store with way more than the milk and catfood we stopped for. The bread selection is a bit ho hum, but that is subjective. Very friendly cashiers, store looked very clean.

Overall a good store, good prices most times and you can price match some other stores, this location the staff is amazing! Super friendly and helpful. The stock on the other hand sucks sometimes. There's days where shelves are empty and it's the first day of the sale. And then staff doesn't even know when the product is coming in. I do recommend the store though

This is very poorly run No Frills. Considering a pandemic. Nobody wiping carts. Nobody watching the door for capacity. Store was over over capacity. Would give 0 stars if I could. Walk up towards the store, see generic teenage worker take a cart from a customer and put it back without sanitizing it. Ask said generic teenage worker to sanitize the cart and get told "we aren't doing that every time anymore" as he stands beside a sign that reads "we sanitize our carts between customers for your safety" kid didn't even offer to do it after I complained. Complete my shopping and ask the cashier to see a manager. Manager doesn't even turn around to face me, says to the cashier "ill see who's working tonight and they can make sure the guys sanitize the carts" and the manager isn't even wearing a mask!!! We are well over a year into a global pandemic and this is the attitude they have? Will be calling their head office along with this Google review. Unbelievable! Don't shop here!

This is my primary grocery shopping store. I do find the stock is not kept up all the time, and sometimes the sale items are completely gone after the first day of sale which I find frustrating. Lately the prices have gone up, but I do realize this is not just this no frills, it's all of them. Very friendly staff, if I could give stars just for staff, I would give 5 stars. I will continue to shop here just for the daytime staff.

They have a great sanitizing station set up at the front of the store which enables the customers to clean their carts as well as their hands. Prices are remarkable and the fact that they price match is wonderful. Not only is there attention to store and staff details they are an amazing asset to the community. I love this place! Great prices and amazing quality. Have been saving hundreds of dollars a month shopping here insead of walmart. Its a little out of the way of you are in the east end but worth the drive. It is usually packed with people but thats understandable. Dont forget your Loonie for the cart! This store is horrible, it is worth the trip out of Pembroke to buy decent grocerices. I walked through the mall and you can smell mold, ceilings cracked, leaking, tarps everywhere. Not returning, just sad and depressing overcrowded grocery store.

Since the pandemic, I normally shop weekly in Renfrew, but I needed to be in Pembroke today. Went to NoFrills, and their carts were not unlocked. Renfrew has them unlocked to prevent germs from coins. In addition, Renfrew has staff with masks on asking if people have symptoms or travelled who disinfect your free cart before you take it. Pembroke has dirty carts and still want their $1 deposit which is more than anywhere else in the valley. They have unmasked staff loitering at the entrance ignoring social-distancing guidelines who don't ask any questions. Carts are full of litter and chained-together by customers who want their $1 back, so clearly they don't get disinfected at all. Parking-lot full of trash and gloves. Filthy store, bad staff, and I didn't even make it past the second set of sliding-doors. Bad store, worst in the valley.

Prices are good, and the store is immaculate, but the customer service at cash is very lackluster. The cashier's don't bag, and they always put everyone's groceries in the same lane way, so you don't even have a chance to bag before the next customer is on top.of you. Nor do the conveyor belts work, so you can't even get some seperation. Otherwise it's a great store.

My recent shopping on Tuesday was a horrible experience. I bought a product that had no Limit on it-when I got to the check out I was shouted at by the cashier, told I couldn't buy that much. Well with no Limit sign posted I can then buy as much as I want. The customers have been asked to be extra polite to store clerks since the virus has started well maybe the staff should be polite to the customers. Produce department was terrible mold all over the strawberries. Remember word of mouth goes along way. SHAPE UP NO Frills.I will give you a 0 but there is none to post

It was returned and I wanted to say thank you to her for her kindness. Great friendly staff here in Pembroke. Steve and Julie's No Frills is one of the only places I shop for groceries since this pandemic happened. Both Julie and Steve are very kind and help by giving back to the community, but always there to answer a question! The staff is all fantastic also, they always greet you and have a smile on their face. They will also go out their way to help you with an issue. #1 place to shop for groceries!

Never have their meat specials in stock even after only a few hours of the sale starting. To the point where I believe it is false advertising. Even the cashiers agree. I have sent complaint letters to Loblaws and they always say the same thing. "We do our best and cannot always anticipate demand" After all these years in business, that is a bunch of crock! Metro never runs out of their sale items, right up to the last day of the sale!

Poor customer service towards Senior Residents ! Lack of management and organization when standing in line to pay for your items! They should have an employee supervising the lineups and directing customers prior to telling customers to get out the way and use a different lineup when the cashier is “not in a mood”.

Great store, great staff, the best owners. I shop for 4 houses weekly since the start of the pandemic and they are all very considerate of our needs. They run charity fundraisers for just about every local charity. When it came time to look for a sponsor for our local sports team these guys where a no brainer. 5 out of 5.

In the mix of the panic of Coranavirus I needed cat food. I stopped in and quickly regretted my choice. This place was packed with people buy stuff they probably didn’t need. Line ups was very long and wrapped around to the back of the store. Now for the good part. The owner Julie stay engaged with all customers. She reassured everyone that the line won’t take long. She offered to go get anything for customers so they didn’t have to leave the line ups. She opened up all the tills and directed people to the shortest line. Because she was so calm and engaged, she made the quick wait in a long lineup very enjoyable. Julie, if you read this, you are a rock star and your staff are doing a awesome job!

Don't feel safe shopping here because they allow people without masks. Also some of the employees do not wear masks. If they flaunt these health laws why should we trust them with regard to other health/sanitation measures regarding food ? Not sure if the management is part of some anti-mask group but it sure seems like it.

We used to love going to No Frills. We’ve been loyal customers ever since it opened, driving from Petawawa just to shop there. Now the selection is abysmal and the produce bags are always empty. They rarely have their sale items in stock and it’s disappointing to lug my three kids into the store only to find all the items I’ve outlined to purchase are not there, forcing me to lug them the other way across town. Not sure what happened to the place but it definitely isn’t the same!

I know Covid has everything a little crazy & a little under stocked, but the produce that was here was spoiled or on the floor. The hygiene of this place is repulsive, with dirty shelves, old food and raucous odours throughout. The staff here are likely the only redeeming feature, having people offer to help continuously and seeking out assistance to open more lanes was so nice to see! No social distancing with cramped aisles and cramped lines inside & out, and cleaning protocols between customers super lax. I mean no frills doesn’t mean no lights and missing pieces of flooring does it? I watched several people struggle to try and get over broken tiles on the entrance/exit that was being covered by a mat. A safety hazard at the very least, sad pride in ownership at most. We will stick to Food basics or metro in Pembroke.
