Metro is expensive no matter where you go in Ontario, this one's not much different. I've only gone for sale items and this Metro often charges more than all the other grocery stores in the area.

This location has the best butchery in the area where the beef is aged at least 2 weeks: more flavour to the meat and it is more tender. They have just redone the store lay out and included wine and beer. Friendly staff remains. Their pricing on most products is not the best in the area, but their selection is very competitive. One of my 3 regular grocery stores in Orleans.

Fantastic staff, always friendly, easy to talk to and eager to help. There are some great deals, including a bulk section that runs along the side of two aisles. The only drawback is that a few things seem slightly overpriced, but, hey, nobody can be perfect, but Metro is as close as I've ever seen.

Found moldy sushi and when I told the staff they didnt seem to care. They said we get shipments in on Thursday. Produce is always looking rotted. Probly not the fault of the staff working there. Prices are higher than anywhere else in Pembroke, but they do have drive up area where staff will load your groceries for you. Meat selection is smaller than elsewhere, but bakery has really good selection of breads and cakes. Produce section and bulk foods is average. They are also one of the few places that has a Canada Post outlet, so convenient for dropping off and picking up mail and parcels. Very few crowds, so easy to get in and out with what you need. Heaven compared to local WalMart super center in regards to crowds.

More commonly known locally as "Moncions", Metro is one of the better grocery stores in the area. Prices can be higher than other stores however the quality of food and produce is always superb. "Old fashioned" Service is still a priority the same it was when "Old Mr Moncion" owned and ran the store. The only store i can think of anywhere that still has a drive-up where your groceries are loaded into your vehicle for you by store staff.

Metro is a great store however the roof has been leaking for well over 2 years. Very upsetting to see tarps hanging from the roof for so long. They really need to fix it and clean it up. I shop elsewhere whenever possible until this issue is fixed.

Taking care of my sugar intake, thanks Metro. Quaker Instant Oatmeal Brown Sugar and Cinnamon has half the sugar of Maple and Brown Sugar, Quakers most popular. Metro is the only store in Pembroke to keep in regular stock, unlike all their competition. Goodbye spare tire.

Your regular kind of grocery store. One definite area where this location loses marks, is the steep decline that is the parking lot. You can't take carts out of the store for safety reasons, I suppose. Good selection of products and friendly enough staff.
