Excellent small super market for local shopping

Staff are friendly and helpful. However the positive stops there. So many items we picked up were already expired or expiring in the next 24 hours. And even if the expire date wasn't near, some of the food went rotton within 2 days in the fridge. VERY expensive, about double the price of a regular grocery store. Would not recommend though it is the only grocery store in the area.

Good little grocery store with a fair selection of food. Quite expensive in comparison to a typical grocery store; but being smaller and in a small town, that is expected. Super nice staff here. An employee, Kirk, was super nice and helpful when I had questions. Would recommend coming here if you're in the area and need groceries.

The store is a nostalgic trip - on the inside its basically almost the same as it was 30 years ago - a few improvements. Like cash register upgrade and finally a debit / Credit card terminal which works quick! But it needs to be gutted and redone inside - it would be awesome if that was the case. Prices are high most of the time - pretty hard to compete with Eganville which has a real grocery store which is a 20 min drive instead of 5 min but it's worth it in the end. As well as another reviewer said they're closed early so when you think of something you want or need it's closed and you have to make the trip elsewhere anyway. Staff and others in store are awesome friendly and helpful. I do go in a few times in the summer while at the cottage but for the most part stick to the other stores, like Eganville, Barry's Bay or even Pembroke if I happen to be in there that day. Maybe they'll surprise us and reno inside someday and I can change my review! :)

It's a small town store...great for campers to come and pick up a few things they need. The store is older and dated. The layout is confusing and the aisles are small with posts inconveniently placed. It serves its purpose.

As a picky eater from Toronto, I'm impressed by the range of quality shelf and freezer products for such a small store; avocado oil cooked potato chips, local raw & unpasturized honey, and my go-to sin tiramisu.

Much better since new ownership! Better selection and variety of products, Presidents Choice products, weekly flyers with real bargains, not as before New owners are obviously interested in serving the community, not jusy making money from a captive market. (Just saying)

Store looks nice; much better items now as opposed to last owner;however I stopped in today on long weekend (I live in Ottawa)& 2 employees were in the back talking about another customer in the store which was rude enough but people were also waiting at the checkout while they are disparging this person.You would expect employees to respect the customers spending their money there.

Great small town/home town store. The place needs major renos on the inside the scary hole in the floor has creeped me out since I was a kid and to this day I go around it. As if it's last day to give away from beneath you will be at any given momemt. Great! You did renos on the outside but the inside needs the tlc the most. Super expensive I rarely go there maybe once a year. No flyers, no great sales that beat the competitor's prices ever. Sad thing for the locals who are elderly and have no choice but to shop there. They somehow budget their grocery supplies from this store I feel sorry for them.

Not a great deal of selection as far as groceries go...been in there several times looking for specific items with no such luck but that is to be expected in a small town grocery store. Great when your in a pinch and something without having to go too far out of your way.

Nice store. They must be re-lining the store, a wee bit of a mess, at this moment. The products....wow, never seen some before! The bakery section....delicious!! Cinnamon bread, yes to die for!! The meat counter, all looked great! Pretty sure every single staff member said Hello.
