Horrible experience with this AWFUL employee who sat her butt down not even a meter away from my stroller with my 8 month old child in it and she lit up a cigarette, I very calmly said "can you maybe not smoke right next to my baby please" to which her response was "well this is where I smoke how the hell am I supposed to know theres a kid in there" she moved not even a foot away and continued to make rude remarks to my husband and I the whole time. I've never been appalled by an employee more in my entire life

As a sad adult, I have a favourite grocery store. However, this grocery store makes me less sad because it has all the things I could possibly need! From the day to day staples, to the ingredients to create my favourite specialty recipes, to the pharmacy, home essentials, and the Joe Fresh clothing department; it has it all. I prefer the produce and meats far more to that if the shall-not-be-named big box store down the road. The availability of wine and beer adds convenience if I don't feel like making an extra stop. Only four stars because I feel the staff are not turbo hyped to be there, I do hope they're treated well. I can't imagine being a high school kid working at a grocery store checking out a sad 30-something's pint of Häagen-Dazs is terribly exciting..

Very clean and well lit, wide aisles, staff are polite & friendly, quick & efficient customer service, good selection, great prices. Only complaint I have is that the pharmacy/hygiene needs are all the way over on other side of store by the Joe Fresh stuff. It would be handier if it were by the other groceries because I often don't want to bother going over past the Joe Fresh clothing etc just to grab shampoo, soap, hygiene products and then end up grabbing those items somewhere else. Otherwise great store!

First time here. A lot of empty shelves sitting around. I actually thought they were closing down. There was no waiting at checkout, which was a bonus. My thoughts: I think the store could be better laid out, although the isles were clearly marked I still found the lay out of isles confusing. Lots of parking and remember to bring a quarter for a grocery cart.

Worth the drive when at in the cottage, easy access from the 417, tons of selection, good deals, they have everything, even hard to find sponge rollers for our senior ladies who still like to use them. I noticed they have Tostadas! No more driving across the border to find my favorite Southwest seasonings too.

Again we have to pay for a cart in order to use it for shopping... It's too bad; I have avoid shopping here for this reason! My balance isn't the best and often I use the carts to insure a safe time around stores. Anyway my reasons and not yours. I did get a few things because I was there. Make your store safest for all of us by allowing the carts to be used for shopping without having to feed coins into them.

Definitely not my favourite store. This store fails to make handicap parking convenient at the west door entrance. Secondly, they added 4 or 5 handicap parking spots at the extreme west end of the parking lot but in winter the snow is piled there making those 4 or 5 handicap parking spaces unavailable. Secondly, after the outdoor gardens are finished and the outdoor garages are dismantled, the dismantled garages are stored in the 4 or 5 handicap spots upwards of 2 months until they are picked up. When spring arrives this store takes over parking spots close to the west store entrance in order to display plants and shrubs.

I used to love the No Frills in Renfrew, it was the best I had seen by far when the Sterlings owned it. Running out of products, especially sale items, hardly ever happened and if it ever did happen there would be a sign saying when more was coming. Now with the new owners they are always out of at least 1 sale items that I go in for, even if you are there the day the sale starts. Today I went in and the first 2 items I went in for were sold out. So frustrating. I miss the Sterlings.

Was the best until they decided to stop recycling there boxes and allowing the customers to use them instead of plastic bags; which gave the boxes a second life and with me personally a third or forth life before being eventually recycled. Now for some absolutely rediculous reason I need to purchase bags or expensive plastic cumbersome and at the end of their life not recyclable containers. This to me is just sad how many customers need to complain to have our boxes returned as they were taken away by someone complaining about being crowded?. This once was The best No Frills I've been to. Please return the boxes.

I live in Arnprior but always make the drive to Renfrew to go to this No Frills.

The cash register and belt area was swarming with flies. A manager happened to come to that till to tell the cashier she could go while I was bagging my food. I pointed out the flies to the manager. She said there is nothing she can do about it because the store doors open and close. There were no flies in the produce department or on the other tills. The till I was at was filthy. There were returns of butter and other food items left sitting on the belt. I told her again that the flies at that till were a problem. She was standing right in front of me folding baby clothes and ignored me. I said it again. She replied snidely, "Ma'm, there is nothing I can do about it." Yes, actually, you could have picked up the spray bottle of disinfectant right beside you and cleaned the till off and then removed the rotting food items. It was filthy. Are the managers there completely brain dead? She just kept folding baby clothes. Clean the till. If not for the flies, well, then, I dunno, maybe for COVID which the store proclaims its doing sooooooo much to keep it clean for us.

As I was loading my groceries in the trunk of out car today, May 8th, the package of strawberries fell from one of my bags onto the road, my husband picked them up and said we could probably wash them. I was not sure with all the germs and virus around. Just then a woman approached with a no frills jacket on and asked if she could replace them for me! I thanked her and she went to the store and got us a new package. I asked her name and she said Tanya, I am one of the store’s new owners. All I can say is I love no frills! The amount of people living on tight budgets needing fresh foods in their diets. Huge No Frills store. Was told by an employee that it is the biggest No Frills store in Canada. Can find lots of deals. Big selection of mags, movies, beer and wine. When in the area sometimes I come here if I need some stuff. Even though I was at a different No Frills, a few times I got some freebies because I was overcharged. If you buy an item under $10 and are overcharged you can get the item for free. It is in their policy.

In the past year this store has started a down hill slide. Items that had always been available are no longer stocked. Just a blank spot on the shelf. Example Swifts canned ham, pork cottage roll, Silk Creamy Cashew unsweetened is there most the time, pizza crust just showed after a long absence. We have enjoyed this store and have PC Optimum. Today the cashier was unable to check out beer as she was not qualified but have done through this lane many times. Small signs are ar lanes that have a designated cashier but only 3 out of numerous lanes. You have to know to look.

Always loved this store. Clean and bright, but since the new owners took over they are always out of the specials. I come from out of town for the meat specials. If I have to spend gas to get what I need I may have to start going somewhere where they do have it. Better to pay regular price somewhere else than to drive all the way into town for nothing. Very disappointed. It was never like this with The Sterlings.

Had my husband do our grocery shop today. On the list was the eluside toilet paper. According to him a 24 roll NO NAME toilet paper was $18.99. He refused to buy it. I have many times bought this size package and have never paid more then 10.00. This is price gauging! Shame on you. I have ever intention on reporting you!
