I want to share a unique experience when I went to Marché Ocean Plus. This place is ultra clean. It's quite unreal because everything is in another language. (I'm guessing Cantonese but don't quote me on that, lol) - staff is super friendly - quality food, the choice is super easy. - funny translation of food. (you gotta see it, it made me laugh). I will go back again for sure.

We visited on Friday and the hand sanitizer burned my girlfriend's hands. Other clients were trying to wipe their hands. Many items in the store were coated with the gooey hand sanitizer. She ended up having red rashes on her hands and still has them today on Sunday.

Staff is helpful and kind, the food selection is good and varied. I suggest you look up which kind of asian meal you wanna eat beforehand. The dairy products and other "big brands" can't be found here, but the prices are so low that you're gonna come back. There's a fresh bushershop and a fishing section with a large selection of products. I can't recommend enough, try it.

Recommended by a friend for their fresh fish selection. Came here and was overwhelmed by their vast selection of goods sold. They even carry Indian spices! Tried their pumpkin bun from their bakery section and it was good! Not too sweet and you can actually taste the pumpkin ????. They also have a good parking lot for customers. Beats having to go to the new Asian store in Downtown. Will definitely be back!

Marché océan plus if sorely needed. LaSalle has a many Asians but the closest store that's big is in Cote des neiges or South shore. Verdun is too small the store there. They have a decent selection of Goods sometimes not good pricing, sometimes great pricing. In all though the best thing about it it saves you time, has parking and it's conveniently placed. And it's still new and very clean, :)

Minus one star because homemade food is really bland. Clients are savages when it comes to queue to pay so beware don't expect courtesy. I recommend everything else. Had a lot of variety and choice, perfect for finding the ethnic food. Just way too much packaging though... Fruits have a natural external shell, no need to wrap them up in plastic on top of that. I am trying to limit my amount of personal waste, but additonaly COVID survives longer on plastic than any other material.

I grew up shopping at Asian grocery stores so this one is not much different than the other ones I've been to. They do have cheaper fresh produce though in comparison to other non-asian supermarkets (e.g. bananas this week are 0.27$/lb). However, I'd buy dairy products, deli meats and bread at your usual big chains for more variety and better prices.

A welcome and needed addition to the community. Ocean Plus has made good use of a neglected part of Lafleur avenue by renovating a vacant space, and laying down ample parking for a clean, spacious and well stocked Asian grocery store. Produce is fresh, top quality, and fairly priced. A step up in quality from the neighbouring Sami. The prepared food section is just getting started and serves a number of popular dishes targeted for both Asian and North American palates. At the time of writing, they are officially not yet opened, and accordingly this may explain why a number of Asian staples are not yet in stock. tl;dr: clean and spacious Asian grocery store on Lafleur.

Great place to shop, prices are good. They have a buffet with very generous portions at a good price, I read a few negative comments about the staff and service, yes some are rude or cold in particular the lady at the buffet who sometimes doubles at the cash has got a bit of attitude and some issues but the rest are fine but you'll see that everywhere you go.

Very decent Asian supermarket. The selection of fresh produce can vary depending on the season but they always have the essentials in stock. Asian snacks are also varied, you can spend a hour choosing whatever you like since there is so many of them. Not too crowded even on a Saturday morning and there will always be enough parking spaces. Meat and fish are also great and they even have a deli for precooked meals. However the ginger lasts less longer than those from larger supermarket chains. Finally, they also accept WeChat payment which is great if you are used to the Mainland life.

Great place especially if you're Asian. There's different items from there organized in Japanese items, Korean, Chinese, Filipino, etc. There's also a fast food section where you can buy fried chicken, bbq ribs, lechón, and more. If you plan to go there, the nearest metro is the Green Line Angrignon.

I'm sooo happy with the location of this Asian Grocery Store. We needed one in the LaSalle area. It's definitely worth the trip if you live or are in the neighborhood. They have fresh sea food, meat, some already cooked Chinese food items, fruits, veggies, and you'll probably find the Asian ingredient you are looking for if you're about to cook an Asian dish. Marche Ocean Plus is such a great new Asian market! First off it has a large parking lot which is very convenient. Very welcoming environment and very clean and orderly. It is really large inside the market, super clean and fully stocked. It has lots of products that I have not seen outside of China (Nongfu Springs unsweetened teas as one example!! so good!) these are unique to Ocean Plus- and it also has my normal Chinese staples. Pricier than other Asian grocery stores and the smell as you walk in is horrendous! Good selection for Asian products and this type of market was very much needed in the area. They keep their place clean but my god it stinks!!! The smell is from the fish blood and guts that goes down the drain. Variety of Asian food ingredients, fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, and fresh seafood are available here. I really loved to shop at this grocery store, but not anymore. Cashiers are very cold and I'm constantly seeing them almost throwing items after scanning during checkout process. Please respect your clients and don't rudely wipe checkout counters when your customers are packing their purchased items. Beware that two ladies at first and second checkout counters are very rude and impolite. There are other Asian grocery stores with much better customer service.

Be careful when purchasing item, cashier will enter the wrong code for the items. When told that was an error, cashier denies even after bringing her to show the price of the item at the place I took the product. She even implies that I am lying even after showing her the price tag with the product there. That is very disrespectful and is an unacceptable way to treat a customer.

Very happy to find this store. Still fairly newly opened. The store isn't fully stocked yet, but they still have a huge variety of products to look threw. Found certain items there that I normally need to go to chinatown to buy. Products that regular grocers don't stock. Can't wait to see and try the cooked food section when its up and running. Because of the covid pandemic, there is a notice at the front door, you will be required to wear a mask, and use their hand sanitizer at the door before entering.
