As usual. Many empty shelves. Several sale items not in stock. Store was very busy but only 4 tills open and long lineups. Popular store because of reasonable pricing but execution is probably the worst in Sarnia. They got 2 stars because their employees are friendly.

The store has alot of variety and prices are GREAT! But its a huge store and very hard on me to walk through it, yes I could use a automatic cart but i am stubborn. So i go there, not too often, get what i need and leave. I do like to pack my own groceries. If asked, they do, do carry out. Lots of handicapped parking but its a busy parking lot. I would RECOMMEND this store. Plus their return policy is great!

The only grocery store where u have to bring ur own bags, they don't provide u with any plastic bags but they sell a reusable big bag for 2$. It's revolutionary and every grocery store should adopt this model.

The prices are really cheap undoubtedly. But the variety of products is still lacking quite a bit as compared to other places. But it has some exquisite products for sure which one cannot find elsewhere. Staff and the ambiance is decent. A good spot to shop.

Don't be fooled. They have good prices on produce and canned foods, but that's about it. Meats, frozen foods, and fridge foods you can often find cheaper elsewhere, with more selection. They have a really nice selection of fruits and vegetables. But boxes of 100% apple juice for children's lunch is not even worth looking at. Walmart has pack of 8 for $2. No Frills is pack of 4 for $2.5. And their cheap juice is just filled with chemicals and preservatives not 100%. So just the produce is okay (even though it's all GMO).

Store is okay. It's a bit rundown but not enough that it feels unsanitary, yet. Parking lot is a nightmare. It's so bad. Especially the accessible parking. It's impossible to find a spot ever and the design/layout is just bad. People are always going nuts in the parking lot, I would not be surprised to see a story on the news about a violent road rage incedent happening there.

This was the busiest and most jam packed I have ever seen a Grocery Store in my Life. It was also the Most efficient Grocery Store I have ever seen. I would bet when I got in the checkout line there was at least 60 carts (shoppers) ahead of me. I almost abandoned my cart. 10 minutes later I was getting in my truck everything paid for and stowed away. Hats off to Chris's!

Allowed 4 items on a sake item. I picked up 4 for my home. I do groceries for an individual with M.S so they can't do there groceries. I took my groceries to my car went back to get groceries for the other individual and the girl at the till said how many more times are you going to come back".I wasn't impressed with her attitude. Totally uncalled for. Like its not affecting her paycheck! Big attitude. I'm just trying to help a disabled person. Totally unprofessional!

Good experience even right up until now during 2021 with the lockdowns, traveled here from Windsor and I can say this is one of the only grocery stores I feel okay with taking my children into, clear, prepared, friendly and efficient, cant ask for more than that during these difficult times, there is an occasional line mid day due to current restrictions, but haven't ever waited more than 5 minutes to get into the store on any occasion. Good job!

Really cheap prices but store always seems messy and employees are not knowledgable when you ask to find an item staff always sends me to the wrong isle, plus cashiers are always in terrible moods, I no longer go their because staff are not trained about service dogs or are not trained about the AODA which is mandatory and testing done yearly. Very very disappointed in a store I use to love shopping at.

Easy to access by public transportation, easy to navigate (been shopping here for over 30 years so I know where everything is...usually) and they always have some great deals, especially on meat. I didn't realize after I had been shopping with my daughter, that I could not pay with cash. I was embarrassed and feeling very humiliated because I was going to have to walk away from my groceries with my daughter. And employee stepped up and used her own personal debit card to pay for my items and I gave her the cash in exchange. Since when is anyone an empathetic person in this day and age, I don't know, but I will never forget this woman and if only every store could have this kind of empathy and work ethic it would make today A different world

This No Frills has the worst washroom! Toilet seat is falling off and has been like that for a long time. Hand towel dispenser is always empty and a large roll laying on a table. Hot water tap just spins around and you have to find a spot where it turns off. Maybe the owner should be encouraged to use this washroom occasionally!

To the two men who wrote bad reviews about Mike's I'd like to mention that no frills has removed the use of visa over 2 months ago. I believe that is more than enough time to give warning even though my local no frills still has the signs up. as for price matching with pharmacies it is not up to Mike to not be able to price match with pharmacies. please understand that even the store owner has to answer to loblaws because it is a franchise not a standalone store, the head office decides what the store carries, how much hours are given to the employees and whom they can't price match with. I feel like the two men came on here to complain for the sake of complaining without gathering any form of information.

I used to work there about 2 and a half years ago and I would never EVER purchase any of my own groceries there. It's like when you work in fast food and see how the quality control is not existent. Their prices may be dirt cheap but that's only because we sold customers food that no other grocery stores would.

Went into this store after just spending 8 days away, so we had to resupply the pantry. Started of with items for price match and was told that they do not match drug stores, Rexall (this is where we had the ad and were following the limit as advertised), Shoppers (even though they are owned by the same company as Zehr's). The cashier on the second till was polite and when we said we could leave them there, she asked if we wanted to get our quarter back for the cart, considerate. So we took the items back, replaced them on the shelves and took the carts out and got our quarters back. Then a short trip to Wal-Mart, price matched the items and spent another $200 to shore up the shelves at home. We were going to finish off the list at No Frills, but being as they did not want to price match a local store, Wal-Mart got the business. Have learned that if a drug store has a special, then No Frills (Sarnia) wants Wal-Mart to get the whole list.

Yeah its cheap but I used to work there and we would constantly stock food that was long expired and we're told to just put a new best before tag on the milk. Always wonderful, today was such a relief to be able to grab my cart from inside as it was already sanitized, shelves stocked minus what the hoarders had purchased, vegetables and fruits were full as well the meats and cheeses. The prices here are amazing, hard to beat really. However, the food quality (especially with meat) is low. Also, for some reason they don't consistently carry boneless skinless chicken thighs. I have had a few purchases at this location that were either bad or going bad at the time of purchase (one being a canned good, which should never happen). Overall this is a great grocery store if you are buying snacks and drinks, but there are better options if you are buying meats and produce.

Was at the Sarnia store at 7am this morning Friday the 1st of May and noticed all checkout staff and those working the aisles were without masks and gloves. The store was very busy with seniors. They should have the required PPE to keep them safe. They are our frontline essential work force. Thank you

My mom has difficulty with her fine motor skills, she's unable to lift heavy things. She went to the accessible aisle and asked if the lady could lift her heavier items and the cashier told her it wasn't her job and if she couldn't do it then she couldn't shop here. I called the manager, store owner, and no one would give me a call back. The WORST customer service. She had terrible experiences before this one, but this was by far the worst. She left crying and other customers told her they were so sorry that they treated her like that. I understand this is a store most people can afford, but if you can afford to NOT shop here, please don't support them. I sure hope this doesn't happen to anyone else!

Generally good quality, friendly cashiers, and clean parking lot. My concern lays with their limited options for payment, lack of support for Visa. In this era you're drastically damaging your business as cash only or limited credit support. If this is as a result of your service provider I'd recommend renegotiating rates or changing the service plan.

Great place to shop in Kitimat. Dining out can be quite expensive but in typical No-Frills Style, their selection is pretty good, they have lots of food you can prepare in a hotel room and the prices usually can't be beat.

Prices are great, produce is always fresh compared to other big box stores in town. Carts are like caddilacs compared to other stores (but remember to bring your quarter). Selection is good. I like that they interject some local goods (I.e. bagel factory) in their selection. I do find that the store is busy, like all the time.. so the shopping experience is rushed. Staff have always been very friendly.

I was at No Frills today, I must say this is the first time I got short with the staff.. I was checked out and bagging and the cashier started the next guy and his groceries got mix with mine, he's trying to bag, he's 3 inches away from me, there is an other guy bagging 5 inches behind me...I 'm saying omg....to the cashier..is there no Covid Proto Call here anymore? .The guy made no move to distance..I couldn't believe it...She was talking to another worker and just turned their backs to me...Am I over reacting?..I personally don't think I am..also afoot note they stopped wiping down the carts..Did they ever? I gave 1 star because I had to post this..

Best produce in town. The turnover on the food is great so it is usually freshest. Selection is ok, not as good as a big grocery store like Superstore, but its decent. Price matching is an issue here because they won't price match Rexall, Shoppers or Giant Tiger. 3/5

Great value for the price. No Frills might not have the selection of larger stores but the value and service are worth it. The sales are great! Just be careful buying fresh produce. It tends to go bad quickly. Having said that, it is still our "go to" grocery store!
