What a gem! We love this store for products and ingredients you cannot find elsewhere for great prices (e.g., sumac), plus ones we've never come across before (e.g., homemade manti = Turkish meat tortellini, also available in the frozen section for vegans + other vegan frozen treats we've never seen before). I also appreciate that a lot of spices and products are sold in glass jars instead of plastic. More importantly, their baklava is THE BEST I've had -- not too sweet at all and perfectly balanced. Plus I don't normally like halva, but I tried their chocolate covered halva and it was delicious! Not dry or grainy like the ones I normally have. Definitely check this place out on Belmont to not only support local independent grocers, but a place with such friendly service and interesting ingredients.

The owner of the store is super helpful, in today's day and age of big box stores, one does truly appreciate the hospitality in this store. The fresh Baklava is the best in the region. International foods from Turkey is plenty. The selection is wide and unique. We should ensure businesses like these; not only survive but also thrive.

YES Market opened in Belmont Village a month ago. They are already like family! They are two brothers from Turkey, new immigrants, and they are very kind and helpful. The range of products available there is incredible! Middle Eastern delights light baklava and turkish apricots (nothing like what we buy here: delicious), but also staples like milk and bread, sugar, some fresh produce and frozen meat. I particularly love their tea selection - the most amazing herbal teas, most priced at $3.50! Way cheaper than that nice place that starts with a V. in uptown Waterloo that we all love. Go and see Murat and his friend!

This market sells a wide assortment of products from Turkey + ME region. Turkish style bread and baklava are also available which is a great plus. The downside I noticed that there’s inconsistency in prices and/or absence of price tags. One should expect not to find the correct prices or even a price tags for certain products.

A true Turkish grocery place to add in KW region, we are so blessed to have such a place, big store and they have everything from breakfast items to household/kitchen, spices desserts items. Wide selection of frozen food, Turkish ice cream along with fresh bakery items, and alot more, I truly feel I visited turkey when I shop there, very friendly owner, always welcoming, chatted with him few times about some recommendation to make lahmacun.

It is Sunday and I just went there for the first time. Said hello on the way in and the fellow behind the counter grunted. Tried to be friendly at the register paying for milk - mumbled again but also grunted while staring at me enter my pin number. Also - the milk was 3 days after the best before. Don't go there - I wont again and I live in the neighbourhood. Would not leave any star but it wont let me submit without one.

Lots of interesting ingredients you may have trouble finding other places. I saw had "cig kofte" which I'd never heard of before but it looked really good and turned out to be delicious. Will definitely be going back.
