Friendly staff and the place is always clean the times I go. The paper bag initiative is in full effect so if you don't like paper bags (which are a good size), bring your own bags for your groceries. You can find sales but you have to find the times where your staples are going to be on sale; like anywhere else.

I will never go back to that Sobeys. There is some people I cannot mention here that are big part of the population on that side of the city. Unfortunately they want to touch every single item in the vegetables and fruit section, I asked one of the employees if Sobeys has a policy to prevent people from touching everything and not buying anything, he told me there is not a policy, but they are very upset about the situation going on at that location, they can't do anything and they feel about about other customers. Sobeys employees really nice, but frustrating to go there and see what I saw.

This is the most run down Sobey's in all of Waterloo region. For whatever reason they feel it necessary to reorganize the aisles every couple of months, making a short visit for a few things frustrating and inconvenient. I dread shopping here. I went in for mortadella, I couldn't even find bologna. I left hangry and irritated. Why won't Sobey's corporate invest in this store like they did elsewhere in the region? Bring your raincoat, the roof leaks.

Sushi selection is horrible. Salads are over priced low quality. Sandwiches look like they are literally thrown together. Bought a Tropicana orange juice that was 4 days past expiry date.only thing good about this store was the friendly good looking cashiers! Other then that its a dive. Just went back 3 weeks after this review and bought a tropical salad.... mango was hard as a rock. Watermelon was soft and about to rot. Kiwi was sour and I couldn't even chew the middle.thr pineapple peices where mostly pineapple core....and the Ceasars Salad was horrible. The bacon was very low quality and èxtemely fatty and chewy. Cashiers were nice. Store is a dive. Went back today bought a taco dip.. who ever works in produce is very lazy and slack and needs to take some pride in here work! The onion was cut up into 1/2 inch size peices but they didn't cut all the way through so most of the onions are 2inches long peices of green onion in a taco dip... if they let visual Presentation slide this much I can only imagine what happens behind closed doors! Plus they seem to take expired item off the shelf at around noon everyday. You think that's something would do not at your busy time??...
