I was at your store yesterday about 10:30 in the morning....I have hip problems, so I asked for a electric cart.. I got me groceries and put them on the belt. The cashier asked if I wanted paper and I said yes....she was so helpful...then went and loaded them for me a cart....she then took them to the door, so when I got out of the electric cart...i pushed them out the door. The fellow who was working the front door, asked if I needed help but I said I was parked in handicap parking and should be fine. Once the groceries were loaded he came out the door and took my cart for me...it was such a pleasant experience due to your considerate employees....

Very bad customer service. Rude staff and manager. They refused to give me the announced discount on an item because there was an error with the self checkout station. After shopping there for 10+ years, they lost my business. I can price match in other stores if they have sale. Stupid people.

Not sure if I am even directing my outrage at the right store but setting up +7 security guards threatening to tow anyone in their lot going to Columbia Lake for Canada Day (especially with this horrif weather) doesn't seem right. I would have been more than okay with paying to park at their lot but all I got was threats to tag and tow my vehicle.

It is frustrating when you plan your shopping around the hours that the company states they're open until and then they aren't. If Sobeys is not open until 11pm when they say they are, then they should change it on the open hours on the web so as not to cause mix ups and wasted time.

Some new vegan cheese options in the regular cheese section! They also have lots of vegan yogurts, Silk brand and another. Love that they have baskets within the store in various areas if you end up getting more than what you expected to buy, saves you a trip back to the front to put all your stuff in a basket. Super nice lady at the flower shop. Helpful and informative about flowers and flower maintenance. In the store an employee helped us with a bunch of bottles we bought and gave us one of those heavy duty milk boxes which was very helpful. I always forget they take air miles here.

Drove out of my way to visit this location for a cake. Cake was okay. Weight issues constantly with their self checkout like most places that use that weight checking method. Not needed. Bought some $10 blue cheese that was good date. Got home, across town, opened to find it had spoiled. It had been a long time since I chanced a Sobeys and looks like it will be a long time, if ever, again. Years of using Zehrs I've never had issues so either it's just sudden bad luck or an example of the quality difference etc. w/e.

Great store with ample variety of products. Fresh vegetables and bakery section is one of best. We always purchase our vegetables from this stores. Slightly expensive then Wal-Mart but quality is always better. Friendly staff members who are always ready to help. Small but great selection of flowers inside Sobeys. One of better stores for sure.

I love sobeys cause they have a lot of specialty in house baked goods that aren't offered at zehrs or other stores; in my opinion sobeys has better sweets/ snacks and deli foods (pretty much anything made fresh to order/eat) and zehrs has the better quality produce. Sobeys is usually a go to for me cause they are opened the longest til 11pm as most stores close 10pm or sooner and it is within walking distance.

Watch your receipts! Several times at this store Ive noticed that the price on the receipt is higher than what the sale sign says. When I bring it to the employee's attention they are unapologetic and dont even honour the prices on the sign. They are supposed to actually give the item for free when this happens.

Every store is trying hard to keep things safe during the COVID19 pandemic, but this Sobeys is achieving. From hand sanitizer at the door to a clear flow for delivering sanitized carts to each customer, one-way aisles, carefully managed flow control to approach checkout lines, constant and thorough sanitizing of checkouts. I haven't felt this safe in any of the other three grocery stores I've visited since social distancing measures began.

Staff were funny. The store was rather tidy. The parking lot was awfully dark, felt like a stalkers wet dream. The store was overly bright and too damn cold inside. I wore a sweater, still cold. Nice spacing, good layout, no Tahini or saffron. Good Gluten Free Dry goods isle. Poor Gluten free Frozen goods selection. See pictures.

Sobeys is the worst place in town to do your shopping. Everything is way overpriced. Some items are literally double the price that you can get at any other supermarket. Place is a total ripoff!!

Step 1: request the cake from the cake section Step 2: take the receipt to the other side of the store and pay Step 3: take the receipt back to cake section for them to give you the cake. Why this long process now? Cz lately people are stealing cakes. She said. Well, if one could pass the counters without paying for the cake, they could steal anything from store. How difficult is it to have a POS at the bakery section itself if u worried about non payment? Not thoughtful about customers.

Out of all the grocery stores out there, this is the only one who has not stopped disinfecting all the surfaces, who keeps their customers moving so we don't have wait outside for long, who hasn't stopped keeping their customers safe throughout this whole pandemic. The only item I wanted "sold out" aka didn't order properly. Asked an employee in the freezer working if they had any all she said is "I'm not meat". Then I ask someone stocking cold cuts. You work in meat. No is all I get. No customer service skills, no desire to be helpful. Will go to Zehrs and pay the same. At least I will get better service.

Good location, pricey produces and fresh bakery. That's the only place to get local Jersey milk (organic) and they also have water dispenser and canned water. Pharmacy is very small and have lots of non essentials.

Consistently good, well stocked (rarely out of stock items, including sales), friendly staff, clean. Only complaint I'd have is the produce is not always the best quality, it's good, but not great or worth removing a star. Whereas their meats are top notch, pretty well as good as going to a dedicated butcher.

I sure would appreciate having a second person at the checkout, putting the groceries in the bags and cart. For the cost of the groceries, I like to watch the cash monitor to confirm I am getting the correct pricing, but can't always do that if it is only me packing my groceries. It also shows down the checkout process when the cashier doesn't help.

Very upscale shopping centre, you'll get items here you can't find at discount chains. Unfortunately no self serve check out, which I would've wanted to see in a store like this. Nevertheless, very clean, excellent quality meat and produce, and amazing selection for almost anything you'd need. The store has a pharmacy, wine shop, on the go lunch bar, deli bar, and also sells flowers.

Sobies needs to put things in smaller containers for customers who live alone..for example I love to buy dinner rolls but don't need twelve a small bag of 6 is plenty. I think they would sell more if the did this..just saying..single person..

Decent place but when I tried to use my phone to pay and collect airlines with the Samsung pay app, the cashier was giving me all sorts of issues. My total was only $6 something for 2 items and it took me like 10 mins to cash out when it should have only taken like less than 5mins. She wanted to see ID and I'm like, the whole purpose of Samsung pay is so that you don't have to carry your wallet/purse around.

Disappointed with a poor layout and hot, prepared food counter. The "hot" foods were room temperature. The cold foods were actually cold though. The potatoes in the potato salad seemed to be uncooked. They were hard and made audible crunching sounds when eaten, akin to eating an apple. I'm pretty sure that's not how potatoes are meant to be served.

I bought a salad from here one of those prepackaged ones not too sure of the name since i threw it out but while eating the salad i took a bite and it was super hard at first i thought it was a crouton but when i spit it out it was a small piece of blue plastic. I had a horrible feeling the whole day and did not eat much after that. Thankfully i spit it out and I’m not a child or else this could have been a serious choking hazard. Felt super gross thinking about it especially in the mist of a pandemic. Not really sobeys fault more the company who makes the salads but just putting a it out there for people to check their salads before consumption ⚠️

I had a great experience with both Maureen and Sierra this past week when I went to cash out. Both of these ladies showed amazing customer service and took the time to talk with each customer, including myself, on a genuine level. As someone who has worked in customer service for years I know that not everyone is like this and I think that these two ladies should be recognized for the great job's they've done.

This Sobey's is one of the really good locations. The layout is different than some other stores, it is logical, clean, bright, and adequate aisle space. The store is kept clean and well stocked even during the pandemic. The produce is fresh, with good variety. The bakery section is excellent. Great fresh breads, and other in store baked goods. Sobey's meat is among the best, and always well stocked. The clerks are friendly and knowledgeable. The prices are fair. A great place to shop.

Interesting store. Compared with other Sobey franchise stores is a bit worn. Some shelves were not filled. Interesting having wine and beer sold in the store. Pleasant staff, working as quickly as possible. Good selection of items.

Over the years I have noticed Sobeys prices to fall in line with other premium brand grocery stores, whereas I used to find them much more expensive. I am choosing Sobeys more and more because of their excellent departments. I also highly recommend ordering their catering service, we had a wonderful platter prepared - just make sure its more than 24 hrs in advance. Their loyalty program is air miles, you can redeem here as well. Overall I highly recommend.

Nice store. Very well laid out. Exceptional beer and cider selection. Lots of convenience items ( veggies already cut for stir fry, etc). Sobeys is a higher end store, prices can be expensive, flyer has great deals normally.

Store is organized nicely. Staff is nice. However every time they have a great price on meat its sold out the first day. Trying to buy meat there is difficult at best. . They always say well have more tomorrow. Hey order enough the first time. I drive 20 .minutes for the same result.

Was in this store yesterday to pick up some random items and noticed their beer offerings: very good selection of craft beers, so I picked up a few cans. All was good until I checked out and the store demanded I provide proof of age to buy the beer - I am 72!! This is a premium store, with premium products, so I expect premium service. I do not expect to be insulted by this nonsense at the checkout. In future I will shop elsewhere.

The staff at this location justifies a 5-star review. Especially the young man (Martin) stocking the shelves in the dairy section this afternoon. He noticed the yogurt I had in my hand had an expiry date of today and he unloaded his entire cart and found me the same brand and flavour yogurt to replace the one I was holding. Thank you Martin!
