Local, fresh and really reasonably priced. The produce is always great, and the fridge in the back always has some yummy house-made treat to get: hummus, chopped veggies, Chai pudding or sometimes zucchini pasta. Delicious!

Jordan is one of the most accommodating small business owners I have dealt with. For an inconsequential sale of about $20 for a bunch of tulips from another city, she assisted with placing the order, getting a personalized greeting card for the purchase, and coordinating pick up. Furthermore, when I called before business hours and she was in the shop, she picked up and without any hesitation asked how she could help. I was very impressed and will continue to do business with Legacy Greens. Thanks Jordan for such a great experience!

Love Legacy Greens!! Jordan always has an amazing selection of LOCAL greens, fruits, root veggies, plus healthy delicious treats. Much fresher produce than big chain stores, knowledgeable friendly staff. Also have amazing selection of soaps, grains, ice cream, jams, etc. Just go and see for yourself!!

Awesome little market shop with great quality local food, gifts and produce. Definitely going to look into their seasonal food box program. Super friendly owner. The only downside for me is the hours as it is closed by the time I get home through the week. But it is a perfect addition to downtown.

My local green grocer. This is hands down the best independent grocer in the Waterloo region. After buying my fresh fruit and veggies here for the first time, I was hooked. You really don't realize how inferior the large chain grocery stores are in quality until you buy locally-sourced produce. Jordan is the proprietor, and she does an incredible job to insure only the best and freshest is sold. Legacy Greens doesn't carry produce exclusively. You can find an eclectic mix of local preserves, jams, chocolates, icecream, and baked goods. I look forward to shopping here every week.

Legacy Greens is a Downtown Kitchener treasure. I frequently order their vegetable and hummus platters for events at my DTK shop, and I'm always thrilled with the quality and presentation of their ingredients. It's great to have a place in the neighbourhood to buy fresh, affordable produce as well as small gifts for foodie friends, like Legacy Greens' mulled wine kits. I can't wait for the return of their summer treats. :)

Great store in the heart of downtown Kitchener! Legacy Greens provides a great selection of vegetables and fruits, as well as local treats. As someone who grew up on a farm, I can appreciate the hard work and dedication Legacy Greens gives toward providing locally sourced goods. I would happily spend my money here knowing that I'm supporting local! Additionally, Legacy Greens offers produce boxes that run as a weekly subscription. I would highly recommend this for its convenience, and variety provided. Plus, it was always nice having recipes provided!

Great little grocery store in downtown. We often stop in during our downtown walks. Not a huge selection, but they have good, organic products, and some cool other products from local companies. Also been enjoying their partnership with Unicorn Brew Bar as a coffee pop-up.
