My go to grocery store. Always have what I am looking for, staff are always great. Been shopping here 10 years. And now they have self check out if you are so inclined to use them. But their cashiers are all super friendly too!

You're going into a discounted lower priced supermarket, can't really expect the fruit and veggies to be great quality or then having the best brands. They have a lot of no name cheaper products. The produce is like dirty and covered in dirt, but again, that's why their cheaper, got to wash it before you eat either way. Staff is alright, they look down or away when they see you about to ask them something haha! But yeah so so. Good quick in and out place. Don't expect it to be quality. Go to Sobeys, Zehrs, etc if you want that. Bring your own bags! However, their bags do last better and are stronger than they ones they give you at food basics or the superstore. People are savages here tho. Lots of foreigners and people don't give a crap and just walk in front of you or grab stuff like it's the apocalypse. 3/5 stars because of staff and quality.

I haven't ever had a good experience here. I've purchased food only to get home and realize it's already mouldy, there is a very limited selection of most things or its simply not there at all & there is only ever 1 or 2 tills open and massive lines of people waiting to cash out.

Freshco is getting better day by day for shopping Indian/southeast Asian groceries. They also offers good discounts. For vegetables I believe this is only the store which keep Indian veggies. You can buy Indian Bhindi, tinda, Pillsbury atta, and sweets from brars

Regularly shop here. They usually have stock. Produce quality is B+, but that's all FreshCos. Can't be beat in price, if they are, they'll just price match! Lately though, kart game has been weak. Looks like you guys reduce them alot. Sometimes when I can't find at the entrance, I can't even find at the closest bay in the parking lot either.

While they advertise good deals, be vigilant when buying from this store. My fault for not noticing right then and there, but when it's busy with people all eager to go and you only have a few items, while adding COVID into the mix, as a customer I usually trust the staff to do their thing. Being charged $20 for 2 watermelons which were advertised and from the skid outside the front door for $2.88 a piece? Never again FreshCo.

Not my favourite place but it is conveniently priced for most items. I basically go here when I'm in a rush and need to get something quick as its just across the street. It is not a go to shopping place for me; but I use their services when needed. I have noticed they do have a halal section which a lot of grocers do not but they also offer a variety of fresh picked produce that other grocers do not such as fresh rhubarb and sugar cane.

Not well trained service to customer. Once I moved a bag of besan from cart to casher line and it blew out through a broken seal over my jacket then moved on to pay the final bill with gift card but she called supervisor that she doesn't know how to do with gift card (any gift cards work like MC or VISA), and explained to us with another excuse even not said apology about besan that I had to walk back to aisle for another bag by myself.

Great specials though shelves can be empty at peak times. Convenient access from street and store is not huge so don't have to wander much to get your list checked off. Wish the entry way was less cluttered. Produce section is cramped and bottle necks entry. Hours could be a tad better. Price matching is great other than having to wait for manager to override.

I've been going to this store for year - great service, usually very clean. One criticism is that finding a shopping basket is almost always a mission. I'm not sure if there aren't enough or what the problem is, but I am always on the hunt for one when I come in.

This store used to be a great place to shop, affordable prices and great selection. Today it was awful, over crowded, not enough tills opened, there was NO selection of products. Shelves were not stocked, produce was rotting and moldy. The price are now equal to a regular grocery store. So where is the Fresh, in Fresh Co? They close off unused cashier lanes, you can't get out if you need to. My favorite store sucks now. I left and bought nothing. Clean up the place too.

Overall pretty good. Friendly staff, okay prices, and I like the renovations, too! My biggest issues have been with lack of product brand diversity, (ex: they only carry expensive name brand of refried beans, so I just don’t buy them at all) but most importantly, I have bought expired products from them more than once, even though the expiry date is a week away or longer. It’s happened only with the refrigerated items, which makes me wonder if it’s not being kept at the right temperature. For example, I bought a bag of fresh noodles. Immediately opened them when I got home and they were covered in mold. I couldn’t tell from the packaging that they were moldy and the expiration date wasn’t for another few days. Luckily, they let us still return them. So, beyond that, not bad. Just watch out for anything in the isle refrigerator.

I love FreshCo!! And i truly miss my favourite Cambridge location since moving to Kitchener. Twice I've visited this store and both times it was extremely busy with only 1 or 2 cash registers in operation. The lineup and wait was just too long. I left on both occasions without my purchases. Also, staff sent me on wild goose chase for non frozen, shredded hash browns..up and down and all over, only to discover they don't even carry the product. Unknowledgeable staff.

On Dec 31st @ 5:47PM EST. Try to go into the store. Manager will not let me in. Store has a posted sign, hours 7am -6pm. Am not allowed in because the cash out line is long. Manager told me it's essential shopping only and when he see the same people 3 Times in a week that's not essential. What a foolish statement by a store manager. I clearly pointed out to him, he doesn't know ones source of income or their capabilities or carrying load. Manager told me covid changes the fact they won't allow me in 13 mins before store closed.

Great prices and wonderful staff. I prefer to stop in here as often as I can. Remember hostess sour cream and onion chips? Their compliments brand is .99$ for a bag and is pure nostalgia as it uses an almost identical recipe. 5* for those chips. They are almost always sold out of them as expected. Get them while you can.

I was charged 7 reusable bag when I had only used 1 by a Very rude employee named Maral. She had me waiting almost 5 minutes more in line to get my refund. I missed my bus because of that and had to wait 30 minutes for the next bus. And forget about greetings she didn't even apologize for her mistake. Will never vist here.

This store is on my way home so it's convenient to grab a few items. I never buy more than what I can fit in a basket as they have the ridiculous coin carts. 9 times out of 10 I have to push through a line up at the cash to get a basket as they never stack them near the door. The baskets could really use a cleaning. Selection of produce is decent but the quality isn't great. Only on sale items seem fresh. Most of the time there are not enough cash registers open and the lines are long.

I don't eat such things myself (sodium) but great to give the "homeless" people so they don't have to rummage in garbage cans and compost bins. I've called some my "boulevard friends" because that's all I really know about them. And I know that I'm not finding them on the boulevards these days

The staff are very pleasant the prices are very refreshing. The check out proceedure are most disapointed & frustrating. My goods are pushed through, while I am retreiving my method of payment my groceries are propelled along the conyour belt & my receipt is thrown down. Before I can get my bag open for my pourcheases, the next customer is suffering the same rushed expérience. May I urge you to to work with your check-out staff to show a respectable degree of sensativity to all customers thus improving the shopping experience. I trust you will find this input useful. They have recently changed the layout for the fruits and veggie aisle. Well organized store. You can do all your grocery here and they also do price match with Nofrills, food basic, Walmart and superstore only.

The lady manager (I don't know her name, she has short auburn hair), needs to take some management courses to learn how to not yell at customers for no apparent reason. She is the reason for my 1 ???? rating for this store. Good managers make sure that the store carts are operating well (the wheels keep locking) and the front store door is operating (for the second week now the door is still broken)

Haven't been to Freshco in a very long time. I went and realized again why I don't shop there. The lettuce...iceberg, green, romaine was awful! Cilantro was yellow and smelt like a musky old basement. Only good for canned goods and paper towels

That is complain o3/08/2017 around 9 am In the store was a big lot of with sign above broccoli price $1.25. I took one and went to the cashier( she is the supervisor). She gave me the price $1.49. I show her flier of a different store for price $1. she refused, saying that this is a crown. she ignored my remark that sign say broccoli, not broccoli crown and the price is not right even it's a crown. then I left that item and left the store to put other stuff in my car. then I return to to the store and found her and brought her to the sign. she said it's broccoli crown, not broccoli bunch, and quickly change the price. no apology. I ask to call manager, and when the manager came, was no sigh broccoli anymore! very nice. no apology was given. I didn't want to waste my time, left that store

Have had multiple problems with one cashier specifically, her name is Shelly and she is middle aged with short blonde hair, very loud and rude. Anytime I try to price match an item, she gives me attitude and is disrespectful for using the price matching service that the store is offering themselves. This store has much better prices and a lot of the same products as other stores nearby. Just make sure to check over the produce before bagging it, it is usually a little rougher than other stores. It seems like their shipments get rescheduled or cancelled fairly often as there will be entire sections of empty shelves.

I have never fully enjoyed the shopping experience here. The store is not as well kept and although I'm sure it is cleaned properly, it never looks "clean". The employees are polite, but a bit vacant in the way they are moving about their duties. The fresh produce also hasn't been a strong point for me and the selection of products in general are just different enough to not be pleasing either

Store has good prices but the people who work here are just plain rude and sour to customers. If it wasn’t for the $2 submarine buns - which are excellent by the way - I’d never shop here. I’m positive that the guards at the Grand Valley Institution for Women treat their guests better than these people treat customers. With that said, the cashiers are nice.

Forgot to say anything because i was focused on how rude she was being. Wont be going back to this store :)
