I want to give a huge shout out to Tammy in the deli department at north shore Safeway in Kamloops. I purchased the meal special on Tuesday after work. When I took it to the self checkout the price did not equal the price posted. I went over to ask the lady who was sitting behind the front service counter why the price is not coming up as posted in the store. The lady behind the counter was flipping through the newspaper. She replied “that meal you’re purchasing is not the meal on sale”. I replied, “I clearly read the sign posted and I’m positive it is part of the sale price”. She told me I was wrong. I went back to the self checkout and the young man was there and I asked him to return the meal off my purchase. I wasn’t going to pay $27.00 for the meal. He helped and I didn’t purchase the meal. On my way out of the store, I decided to go back to the deli the check the price. I was correct! The mean I was going to purchase was on sale for $16.99. I asked Tammy in deli to help me. I explained the situation. She told me I was correct and took me to the front service counter. There was another lady working at the front counter by this time. Tammy expedited my order, went and picked up all of the items included in the order, apologized for the error( which she did not create). Thank you Tammy! You saved my faith in this store.

Ordered a cake thursday, Sep 28 for a family member's birthday on saturday (oct 2), pickup @ 12:00, was told no problem at all, Received a call on 11:00am on the day of pickup to tell me they didn't order icing, and therefore didn't have any. An hour is not enough notice to make other arrangements. About as poorly run of a dept as you can get...
