Very accommodating staff even during the pandemic! Theres nothing much to do in jasper and having ice cream around makes a big difference!

Scoops & Loops has TONS of choices of ice cream & frozen yogurt flavours. And if you can't decide what to get, go for 2 different flavours of scoops on one cone but good luck finishing it. The portions are enormous & a single scoop is plenty big enough. Single actually is 2 scoops. You can get normal coronet cones, plain or chocolate coated waffle cone or have your ice cream in a cup (I don't understand the point of that. Seems like you're missing out on a key experience). The one down side to this place is the big price tag that goes with the big portions. Figure on paying at least $4 to $5 per cone! But I have gone there often so I guess it's worth the price. If you happen to arrive in Jasper by train, Scoops & Loops is right across from the train station (behind the info centre).

When we were buying ice-cream, my mother heard the server told other serve "They are Chinise and give them less ice cream" and I saw there were a little kid that have the same ice cream, and I got less them him. Son ya thats it. I will never buy ice cream in there again.

Walked in with the kids, a pretty big selection. Ice Cream is commercial quality but the biggest problem and the reason for two stars is the service. Terrible. Kids wanted to taste a couple of flavors, they were told they could only taste ONE. There was ZERO lineup, so no justification for that. Then they asked to split flavors in a scoop and were told that there's an extra charge. Instead of $3.75, then $4.75. In short, RUN AWAY!

Very nice staff. The flavour was on par. I love the chunks of Walnut in my maple walnut! I feel like you got a pretty good bang for your buck compared to the other places around here. Same price, how ever more ice cream though. Wasn’t much more but it definitely was better.

Scoops and Loops. A simple and elegant name for this tidy coffee/treats/snack bar. They make a meaaaaaaan Americano to get your day started; go for the decaf and a gelato in the evening. Service with a smile as you would expect from an establishment with such an eccentric name! Would highly recommend

I asked for 1 scoop of ice cream of a particular flavour, and as the woman was getting it ready I exclaimed to my boyfriend that I missed another flavour that I really like. Before I realized it the woman put a bit more of the second flavour into my cup for free, no questions asked! I was so surprised, what great service!

Great local ice cream place in Jasper! Had to wait a little bit, but that was expected since it was late evening. We got the cookie dough ice cream and it was pretty good. Had a slight cinnamon/caramel taste which reminded me of pralines and cream but was still delicious. We also got a Reese’s pieces flurry which was quite yummy! Loved the crunchy bits. Last, we got the moose tracks ice cream. This was by far my favorite! Creamy, chocolate-y, and full of chocolate chunks. Slightly overpriced but I’m sure having a business in a provincial park is expensive. Overall amazing!

It is worst customer service experience we had . They are taking money for a spoon . Just because we are from another town they think we will take those spoons with us and gonna use it somewhere. Will never go back again and do not recommend to go there to anyone .

Great place to get iced cream on a hot day. The selection of ice creams, milkshakes, and flurries is vast. Pricing is average, but the quality and kindness of the staff is good. Since McDonald's dropped the Smarties variant of McFlurry's this is the best place to get a Smarties McFlurry that tastes exactly like they used to at McDonald's.

Agree, their one sample taste per person is stupid...especially for kids. I highly doubt people are abusing this with multiple tastes. What happens is you end up getting rushed through to order and your kid is crying because they choose a nasty flavor like Mango (yuck) ???? won’t be back here again. Going to Grandma’s up this street next time. Also, super annoyed that the guy wouldn’t give us sorbet in a cone ????

Great selection and the staff are always so friendly when we go here. Fair pricing for what you usually pay locally in Jasper, and you usually get a pretty hefty serving. I can only ever get one scoop because they're so big. They're also great at handling the large tourist crowds - they've had line ups out the door when I've been and we usually get in and out in less than 10 minutes.

The perfect place for ice cream and shakes in Jasper! We went twice in 2 days and the vegan raspberry sorbet was delicious! My son got the chocolate bottom waffle cone with 2 scoops and said it was amazing. Friendly family-owned business, the couple are so so nice and service was great. Highly recommend, we will be back!

Alright so everyone's complaints are accurate. Their tasting policy is dumb. You should be able to sample more than one flavor. That being said, the ice cream is good and there's a lot of variety. If you don't like the first thing you sample, hopefully you're good at guessing on the second try. I got white chocolate raspberry as a sundae with caramel and butterscotch sauce and my husband got caramel cashew toffee as a sundae with caramel and butterscotch sauce. Both were delicious. Mine had almost a cheesecake taste. I probably wouldn't do a sundae next time because I don't think a couple squirts of sauce is worth $1.50. If you're looking for good ice cream with unique flavors, come here.

Huge selection of ice cream and cones. Very generous servings - "one scoop" is more than enough for kids and most adults. Given its location in the heart of Jasper, it is reasonably priced (about $15 for 4 cones). It is in the middle of the touristy part of Jasper, close to parks, other shops, and crowds. There is plenty of friendly staff on hand to assist. The place could use a renovation to the interior however. Definitely worth a visit from anyone visiting Jasper.

Terrible experience.. never faced this my life.. They just allow to test only one.. thats fine.. no complain.. They charge for cup (for main cut not even extra cup) -- fine..co complain yet.. -- when i asked for one more spoon, they asked for 10 cents.. this is limit now.. i thought they are just pulling my legs by asking 10 cents.. but when i realized they are really asking to pay 10cents.. i tried to talk their mananger.. but those people spoke something in Chinese which we couldnt understand and asked for 10 cents still.. I dint get spoon.. I wanted to throw ice cream in garbage but we really wanted to eat ice cream so just got it and went out.. When we tasted, it was worse taste i have ever felt.. Now i figured out their business doesnt do well so they make money like this.. Pitty ...

Such a blessed place. I went here every night in Jasper with my friend. I’m telling you, get a nice three scoop cone and go for a short walk around jasper. The lady who served us was amazing, and completely loaded our cones up higher than I’ve ever seen a cone go before. I will be back one day.

If you trying to decide where to get a ice cream while visiting Jasper I would definitely suggest Scoops & Loops. I live in Jasper and have tried all the locations and out of all the places in this town they have always been consistent with very generous portions, quality and great flavours. The atmosphere is nice and laid back. It’s very family friendly and the owners are some of the nicest people you will meet. We really love their ice cream, It’s definitely mashiso (delicious)! ????

Wonderful ice cream and people! Most of the flavours, if not all, are from Nestle and they range from the classic Chocolate to the delicious Maple Walnut. Not cheap, but you get a lot of ice cream. Service is fast and very polite, very nice.

I was in jasper with my girlfriends this June.We spent one complete day in jasper. Lovely town.However, our experience with this ice cream shop was a night mare. Their manager or boss not sure who was extremely rude. Very bad customer service and very mannerless perSon. I will never recommend this ice cream parlour to anyone. They do not know customer service and ruined our entire mood for the day. This was a sour incident i will remember from jasper for life time.

We stopped for extra in Jasper to get our daily portion of ice cream or milkshake. With so many varieties to choose from, everyone will find something for their taste, even without tasting everything first. If all the guests would do that, there will not only be longer queues at the counter, but also a huge amount of unpaid ice cream in the high flow of guests. (Original) Das Eis schmeckte richtig gut und man kann aus jeder Eissorte auch einen Milchshake machen lassen. Wir waren 3 Tage hintereinander in diesem Laden. Haben dafür extra in Jasper angehalten, um uns unsere tägliche Portion Eis bzw. Milchshake zu holen. Bei so vielen Sorten zur Auswahl findet wirklich jeder etwas für seinen Geschmack, auch ohne vorher alles zu probieren. Wenn das alle Gäste machen würden, gibt es nicht nur noch längere Warteschlangen an der Theke sondern bei dem hohen Durchlauf an Gästen auch ein enormer unbezahlter Eisverbrauch.

It's a shame that all the ice cream places in Jasper are owned by the same stingy family. I have never visited a shop that will not allow you to try a flavor before you buy. The customer service was rude and the shop had a weird smell. We had 10+ people in our group and even though I gave them our entire order, 2 staff members took time and counted each of items we orders to ensure we were not conning them into a free ice cream - SUCH A CHEAP MENTALITY. They wanted to charge us extra for a spoon - AGAIN CHEAP MENTALITY. You are making enough money in the overpriced ice cream and you are not going to go poor by allowing an extra spoon. ICE CREAM PLACE ARE SUPPOSED TO BE FUN BUT THESE PEOPLE HAVEN'T GOTTEN THE MESSAGE YET.

They are only receive Canadian credit or debit cards. After you get your ice cream and likes to pay with US dollars, you realize that their exchange rate is 1.1 while ALL other businesses in Jasper accept 1.25. After my family got their ice cream it was too late to reverse it back but I complained to the owner, he was very rude. He is charging for spoons!!!

Went there on a late night with 6 other friends. Had gone up to the till and used apple pay tap feature on my iPhone. The transaction had gone through according to my phone as it displayed the amount for my purchase. The owner stated the transaction did not go through on his end. I explained it did and he disagreed. I advised him I will call my credit card company to ensure it did not go through. He pulled the ice cream from my hands and began using profanity. Me and my 6 friends all walked out. His coworkers were stunned. They also charge $.10 for spoons! Worst customer experience. Walk down the street somewhere else for ice cream. There is nothing special about this place. Wish I had read these google reviews prior to my visit.

Aha I see the screw up fairy has visited us again Would give this place negative stars if I could. Had the worst customer service ever. All the employees were so rude. We came here because it was the first ice cream shop we happened upon from our hotel and my little cousin wanted ice cream. When we entered the store, no one was there to help us with anything so my uncle called to get someone's attention, and after a few times with absolutely no response, and exasperated lady came out to answer. Later, the guy scooping the ice cream rushed my little cousin to choose a flavor, even though there were only like two other people in the store besides us. Then, when she decided at the last minute she didn't want the flavor, this was before he even scooped it and was due to the fact that we realized she was allergic to an ingredient in that flavor, he sighed super loudly, slammed the poker chip which was used to buy the ice cream on the counter, and rudely told us to get him once we made a decision before leaving. When we called him back, he rudely said Are you finally ready this time If you can't take take the time to be nice to your customers, you shouldn't open up a ice cream shop or any place that requires customer service at all, especially in a tourist town. Everyone here was as useless as the ueue in the queue, had one since the store was as empty as satan's heart. No place has ever left a worst taste in my mouth, and I'm not just talking about their mediocre ice cream. Would not recommend to anybody; the terrible customer service and lackluster ice cream has left such a repulsive image of the store in my head. in all, this was a terrible experience and probably the worst part of our entire trip. If you ever come here, do yourself a favor and go to one the other ice cream stores in this otherwise beautiful town. I'm sure they're all lovely, and their customer service could not possibly be any worse than it is here.
