A must visit place in Jasper town for your breakfast or brunch. Unique and healthy menu. Very filling portions at reasonable price. Must try goat cheese berry waffle, avocado toast with sunnyside egg, chicken avocado waffle and green machine smoothie, strawberry smoothie!!! Lots of options on the menu.

The presentation was fantastic and the service was excellent and polite given how busy it was during my visit. My girlfriend and I got the fried chicken waffle and the Easter egg waffle and both were super tasty! Exactly what you'd expect but not boring at all. I really enjoyed the addition of some feta cheese on the chicken waffle however I found there wasn't enough syrup and as a result the savory taste overwhelmed the sweet a little too much for my liking. Conversely the Easter egg waffle was far to sweet for both me and my girlfriend and could've done with a little less sweetness or perhaps something to break up the sweetness. All told it's a good restaurant for a quick meal/snack especially for visitors of Jasper like myself!

Walked into this new shop in Jasper that has recently sprung up. The waffles I had were extremely delicious. If you want to satisfy your sweet tooth, this is definitely the place to go to. Oh and by the way they also have a variety if sorbet and gelato. Vegan gelato as well......unbelievable good!!

Brought my daughters here for a special treat. This family owned local business is friendly, accommodating, and helped us choose just what we wanted. The owner even put on Frozen 2 music just because he knew one of his young customers loved it! My daughters' picked the waffle topped with whipped cream and mini marshmallows. They also added gelato; vanilla bean for one and salted caramel for the other. I ordered an Americano. The gelato was very good quality. I believe it was Righteous brand. There were even vegan choices. I tasted the salted caramel gelato my daughter ordered and I can't believe it was plant based! She didn't realize it either. They serve Nespresso brand coffee and my americano was reasonable priced and delicious. They have a full cafe selection, which was nice because I eat low-carb. One of my girls couldn't finish the last two bites of her waffle so I sacrificed myself like a good mum and ate it. I have to say I was very impressed with the waffle itself. The waffles are made fresh to order and they were crispy on the outside, fluffy in the middle, sturdy enough to handle the toppings and didn't get soggy with the remnants of whipped cream and melted gelato. I wonder if I can wheedle a recipe from them? The shop was bright, clean and tastefully arranged. While we were there, 10 other people were served-all locals because the Park hasn't opened yet. I watched them serve each person with the same warmth a courtesy they served us with. This will be a busy place this summer! Lastly, upon inquiring which items (napkins, cutlery, waffle basket, etc) we could put in the compost section of their garbage set up, we were proudly told it could all be composted. That's an extra thumbs up from me! We will be regular customers and look forward to trying their other treats and healthier choices!

Found this lovely breakfast joint on Google and really enjoyed their food. They appeared to be short staffed as with many businesses in Jasper, but staff managed to serve us on the outdoor patio nonetheless. Food was delicious, eggs cooked to perfection, sourdough bread nicely toasted, our kids ordered extra potatoes, everything was well made. Price was the the higher end for a breakfast place, but quality was good and service excellent! Parking was not easy as this restaurant is located in the Main Street of Jasper’s busy business district, but there are plenty of on street parking 2 streets down. Recommend to travellers to Jasper.

Got to the place, no one greet us and then when i asked to put my name down for the wait, they told me how busy they were and i had to wait on a table. Waited for 20 minutes until a server came and asked if we were Helped yet. We said no and then took us to A dirty table. Waited another 15 min and no body came to serve us. Great way to be treat it in my birthday. Never would ever go There again. Thanks for The horrible service

My order was only half filled. Waffle and 3 chicken strips. No extras for color. The reason, at 12:30 on a Saturday was they had run out of what ever was supposed to be on the plate. I asked what could they substitute or do for me and they said they would put some spinach with it. Yummy. No thank you. Still charged for the full meal. Lots of other places to eat. I suggest you keep looking.

For our 22nd anniversary we decided to treat ourselves to waffles for breakfast. To be honest, after 2 bites, we regretted our decision. We informed the manager that we really didn’t like them and were about to leave. He sincerely wanted to know what he could do to make it better. I suggested, perhaps replace the waffles with a smoothie. He returned a few moments later with 2 delicious strawberry/banana smoothies, 2 avocado toasts and 2 pieces of chocolate cake. He didn’t realize it was our anniversary but thanks to him, we had a beautiful picnic lunch overlooking Alberta’s finest scenery. Thank you Jasper Wafflato for your kindness!

On their menu they list one of their waffles as vegan. It is not (they use the same batter and whipped cream for everything). I ordered the avocado toast. I asked for it to be vegan, they said of course. There was cheese on it. Without looking I took a bite, felt sick all day. I have been vegan for years it was extremely upsetting. Learn the difference and update the website please. Very strange for such a touristy place. They offered alternative food/drink but I had already lost my appetite. If you do order their waffles don't expect real maple syrup or anything special.

Amazing breakfast. We got the avacado egg toast and the Oreo waffle with ice cream. The waffle was amazing. The prices were also amazing. If you want to take your waffle to the next level, try using higher quality ice cream instead of Chapman’s.

Don’t come here for breakfast lol. Mediocre food. Ordered the chicken avocado waffle & spicy chorizo omelette. Server was not knowledgeable of the menu at all. It’s clear breakfast is not their specialty. The chicken on the waffles is just bad quality frozen tenders. The atmosphere is not great, door was open which made me cold while sitting in the back of the restaurant, and bad tik tok music playing over the speakers. I would say coming here for dessert is suitable, but would never recommend the breakfast.

The staff are just wonderful here! We were in town for 3 days, and from the first scoop of gelato we were treated like old friends. We ended up eating here several times over our stay, and the service/quality just kept coming at 100%. They also allowed us to keep our dogs with us at their outdoor tables, which was a huge incentive to return. The food was also great. If you happen by, and they don't rotate the flavour out, I highly recommend the Lavender London Fog Gelato!

First day we were there we left because no one was serving us. We tried to call them over but they were distracted by dogs at a table. Also noticed them petting animals and not washing hands. Decided to give it another go the next day because we wanted to try this place out. The food was good until we found a hair baked into a waffle. The server removed the item off the bill but we left disappointed a second time.

Terrible service and rude staff. We waited here for about 8 minutes at the "please wait to be seated". We also stepped inside and made eye contact with a number of staff. Considering there was one guy running meals and about 5 people behind the counter - its amazing no one acknowledged our existence. So we decided not to give our business to this place. We had a fantastic brunch at Harvest - which we highly recommend. Their service was top notch.

We ordered the chicken avocado waffle and the fried chicken waffle (around $15 each). Both chickens were extremely hard, brittle and dry. The breading was very thick - it was over fried and extremely difficult to bite or cut through. Would not recommend either chicken waffles. If you look at the picture, it resembles something very unappetizing.

Great staff and excellent professionalism with kind smile to serve freshly brewed coffee. ice creams and breakfast in Canadian Rockies. A MUST TRY AFFOGATO coffee so delicious blend of ice cream and a coffee. Sunrise waffle in their breakfast menu is out on the moon which they do serve breakfast all day that’s a great. I loved their freshly squeezed juice bar it’s very healthy, sweet and deciduous options they have available in Jasper wafflato.

This place has some amazing food and beverage menu items. I ordered the "Fried Chicken Waffle" along with a "Cafe Latte" which was a nice combination. I would highly recommend dining here as they have a great menu, nice cozy atmosphere and decor, as well as friendly staff. Compared to another famous breakfast/brunch place I dined at a little while back in Calgary, I found these fried chicken waffles to be better:) Great job everyone at Jasper's Wafflato!

What an amazing experience! The atmosphere once you walk into the place makes you feel like you just got to grandmas kitchen, and don’t tell my gran but it might even be better food! There was something missing I know price wise for a place in jasper they are quiet good but I went there once and didn’t want to again. This place was onpoint!! Let me tell you about the rocky mountaineer breakfast!! The eggs were on point served over a delicious bed of hash browns with two bacon and two sausage!! It was so amazing!! My wife had the strawberry delight waffles and let me tell you those were extravagant!! The service was awesome!! The owners brother was there to ensure everyone was taken care of and to have a polite conversation!! To me that is above and beyond.... Very cool ....

Went here for breakfast prior to leaving Jasper yesterday and it was such a good choice! The food was absolutely amazing - the waffles are perfect - they aren't dense but perfectly light and fluffy! We had Kieran as our server and he was more than pleasant to deal with. My dad's latte wasn't completely full but we didn't even notice and he brought us out another one on the house. Exceptional food and customer service! Going back again this weekend.

Coffee was extremely watered down, eggs were cold and not fully cooked, service was nonexistent. When I say nonexistent, I mean it... nobody checked on us. I would have said something if someone had actually come up and asked us how things were. I was hungry enough to eat it but cold eggs are a no go for a return.

Ordered the morning breakfast, it didn't come with a fruit cup (it's fruit cup or hashbrowns but I wasn't asked what I prefer). Hair in my friends food although they replaced it for him. They ended up giving us fruit though because of the misunderstanding.

Me and my wife visited this place in Jasper and we ordered a strawberry and banana wafflato and those guys made it fresh and it tasted sooo good with all the strawberries and slices of banana and cream with some ice cream on top of it .The staff were also kind and always smiling specially the lady with the glasses.Will go back to have some more on our next trip to Jasper

This place was amazing! My friends and I stopped in and we loved the casual and friendly vibe. Every waffle is so fluffy. The jerk chicken waffles are perfectly tender and flavourful, and the avocado chicken was delicious with the creamy avo flavour, a solid mix of greens and fried chicken on top. The drinks were also really great. Definitely looking forward to our next visit.

These guys are like a hole in the wall but man such a good service and great food! We went there twice in a row while at Jasper. First day we had the Asian Omelet and Waffles with Chocolate, Strawberry and Bananas. Second day had the same omelet and toast with avocados and eggs. Hands down the best place for breakfast, we abandoned free egg sandwiches at the hotel for these guys!

AMAZING!! We ended up waiting outside for about 10 minutes as it was busy when we got there, but the wait was 100% worth it!! The food was honestly to die for. Waffles were perfection, hash browns were amazing and seasoned perfectly. Eggs were cooked perfectly. And their coffees? One of my favourites I’ve had! The staff were super friendly and efficient!! I highly recommend!! We will be back next time we come to jasper for sure!

Seating and space is very limited but staff was able to accomodate anyone or group who came in. This place was a pleasant surprise, frankly! When came when it was super busy, but received quick and attentive service all throughout our entire brunch and the food was delicious. We even scored a piece of cake on the house because, according to our lovely server, our food took too long--we hand't even noticed! Would definitely recommend

We heard good reviews but our experience was nothing like them. One family got there about 15 minutes after us, got their food about 5 minutes after they ordered. We still didn't have our food, they ate, payed and left, and we didn't get any note that our food would take a while. Then once they left, a couple came (literally 30 minutes after us) and they also got their food before us, and one of their plates was one of our orders. When we told the waitress she was giving us sass, saying that there are people sitting inside as well (we were sitting outside) and that they were really busy. The FIRST time we complained they said our order would be on a high priority list, that was just one big lie. We waited there for over 45 minutes waiting for food that would never come. We ended up just leaving, if they had to waste our food it is 110% their fault. It makes me a bit sad that I won't be able to try their so called amazing waffles, but I can no longer trust this restaurant. They also brought us 3 different things we didn't order, terrible. Overall they gave the most terrible customer service ever. If you got good service and thought it was amazing, good for you, but I do not recommend this restaurant. If I could give if less then 0 stars I would. They didn't treat us well, never coming back.

Although, I was disappointed from how minimal chocolate they use … Because of that, I give them a 3 star rating. There’s barely a drizzle of chocolate on their chocolate waffle and their shakes aren’t very tasty. It taste like milk, not much flavours .. other than that, I liked their food and enjoyed my time there.

We tried this place based on the reviews on here, unfortunately Dennys would have been a better option for our money. I was also disheartened when we saw how the kitchen staff were preparing our food, hence the 1 star rating. I have never left a negative review in all of the places I have been to but this one really put a bad taste in my mouth. The servers were very uninterested in our group. Had to ask multiple times for utensils and water as they kept forgetting our table. Plates came different times, some meal came cold and some were hot, my toast was particular more burnt than my other companions toast. The harshbrown was hard as rocks.

Service was astoundingly bad and the food was overpriced and low quality. With the utmost conviction I do not recommend this establishment. The servers appeared to be trying but we're highly incompetent (for example, they brought a wrong meal, gave only our table plastic cups and multiple times within 90 seconds brought us the wrong receipts, yes multiple times). The food was alright, mildly better than a McDonald's breakfast but of similar quality. Again, I could not recommend a restaurant less, ruined our morning in Jasper.

The service was great but the food was just okay. We went based on all the really great reviews as we were leaving town. We typically appreciate more to farm to table type brunch so our expectations might have been too high. This was more like fast food breakfast. I will say, the servers were lovely and quick. The food came really fast but the quality didn’t quite meet our expectations and I wanted to point that out in case there’s anyone else reading this that might have similar tastes to ours. That being said, it was one of the cheapest meals we had in Jasper so for the price point it was okay.

We were very disappointed with many aspects of this restaurant. First off, the menu is very limited and the food wasn’t good- our omelets were very well done, very salty, and dry. The wait staff wasn’t welcoming and the general feel of the place wasn’t at all warm and fuzzy. The main turn off, however, is that this restaurant is not environmentally friendly AT ALL. They did not have any reusable drink ware, it was all plastic and styrofoam. Why would a restaurant not purchase reusable dinnerware? This is very environmentally irresponsible. I only gave this a two star rating because I liked the taste of the hash browns, they reminded me of Andy Capp’s cheddar fries (but they were also very salty). I wouldn’t recommend this place, there are far better places in Jasper to get food.

Delicious waffles any time of the day. Had the pleasure of visiting on 2 occasions this last trip. Had the Sunrise and Fried Chicken waffles and both were great. I really liked their take on the chicken and waffles with some greens and a little goat cheese. Prices are really reasonable as well. This will be a staple breakfast place for me in Jasper and I look forward to being able to eat-in once Covid is a thing of the past.

Had the Rocky Mountaineer Breakfast on Friday 10/16. It was fresh, warm and yummy. Only thing I would change was the toast wasn't toasted. It had barely seen the toaster. The coffee is so good! I came back on Saturday with my hubby and tried the waffles. They are delicious! Highly recommend

We saw this store on our walk through Jasper and saw the pictures of the waffles. They looked delicious, I ordered the yummy chocolate and my wife got the strawberry delight. The waffles aren't quite like true Belgium waffles, they weren't as thick and a little dry. The chocolate syrup was a little thin. I think if they used a thicker chocolate syrup or put some Nutella on, it would be amazing. Their coffee and tea were very good. Prices were reasonable and have quite a good menu with lots of other offerings.

Got the jerk chicken waffle, doesn’t taste like jerk chicken but its really good! I would give it a 5/5 but my waffle was soggy and cold. But taste was great! I would ask the servers to make a fresh waffle and serve while hot! They have an outdoor patio and service is really good! Also tried their marshmallow waffle with ice cream- 5/5!

I had such a wonderful breakfast at Wafflato! The restaurant is small but comfortable and I saw quite a few people ordering take-out; it seemed like a hit with both visitors and locals alike. We ate in the restaurant. I loved that they used eco-friendly utensils. But what I reeeeally loved was the food! I had the chicken and waffles and have been raving about it for days! It was the perfect mix of sweet and savoury. Absolutely delicious!

Visited this place 2 days back.. went over for 2 consecutive days. Googled them and visited them after their reviews. Awesome food, awesome place, polite and courteous staff. I had the pleasure of visiting this beautiful establishment today with my buddy. As soon as you walk in, you are welcomed with warm smiles from the owners. The frequencies were so love filled; I couldn't get enough. The food displays were immaculate to say the least. I had a freshly squeezed carrot ginger juice deliver by them to my table. Definitely take a gander here as there is something for everyone. They have vegan and gluten-free options. Definitely visiting again.

Fiance and I came here late at night, about 5 minutes before they closed, unfortunately they had already started cleaning so we couldn't get waffles and got ice cream instead. We came back the following morning for breakfast and it had to be one of the best dining experiences I've ever had, the staff are amazing, the food is fantastic, and to top it off the same person that was working the night before worked in the morning and recognized us and gave us a waffle on the house, that's the best kind of customer service one could ask for.

OMG, Wafflato has the best waffles and brunch items! I found this restaurant while I was googling restaurants in Jasper. And coming here was one of the best decisions my husband and I made this entire trip. I tried the maple waffle with bacon, egg & cheese for only $8.95, and my husband tried the fried chicken waffles. We've tried chicken waffles at the very well-known brunch restaurant at Calgary before, but hands down to Wafflatos!! Prices are reasonable, and the portions are really really good. My husband can eat (I mean really eat) and this restaurant fed him till he burps! lol

Super disappointing meal. My boyfriend got a savory waffle that had egg and bacon and avocado and it can with maple syrup poured all over it. I got an avocado and egg on sourdough and it came with with weird sweet balsamic vinegar reduction all over it and the avocado tasted super overripe. Really misleading menu and way overpriced for what you get.

Everything was amazing! I would love to post a picture of the food but it was gone too fast.... Lol My daughter had the chicken and waffles, I had the bacon, egg and cheese waffles and hubby had the banana, strawberry and caramel waffles! Sooooooooo delicious! The only thing better than the food was the service! Suhas was an awesome server and we had many laughs! Thanks guys, we will definitely be back!

So expensive. my waffle tasted stale and the eggs were over done. The only thing I ate was the bacon (which was one peice). At least the smoothie was good because otherwise I would have left just as hungry as I came. The entire meal was $20 with the smoothly being $7. So basically if you want to waste $13 come here.

Service was good and the patio has a great view but Maple waffles with corn syrup? Not even all the stuff that was supposed to be in the plate was there, seems to be the cheapest stuff possible. The Rocky mountains breakfast is like a normal hotel breakfast but pre-assembled.

I had Blueberry and Maple waffles both mornings as they were delicious. We came in as a party of 12. Everyone received their food basically at the same time everyone received what they ordered and the separate bills were correct both time we went there as it was everyone’s favourite. We had dietary concerns; gluten-free and gluten free lactose free. There was a nice selection for them as well and the girls with the gluten-free issues received extra tomato slices with fresh greens as they didn’t want toast. The second morning we were there the waiter remembered us and seated us even through we had our photo ID’s and vaccination certificates out. We truly appreciated their efforts with such a large group. Next time we are in Jasper we will be coming back!!

went to this god awful waffle shop on our last breakfast. we ordered the Good morning breakfast and sunrise waffle takeout. They got the toast wrong (multigrain vs white) - for anyone that hates multigrain you know how painful this is. to add salt to the wound, we were missing all condiments: no ketchup, syrup, jam/butter/anything. reading other reviews, this was common - maybe they're cost saving but the condiments do not come with the food! waffles were NO BUENO to put it nicely there was no flavor. how can this place call themselves wafflato but the waffles tasted the worse than the continental breakfast at the hotel room? we're huge waffle/pancake fans but this was the worst one we've tasted to date. The other glowing reviews from other users were made probably because they were hungry or they come from a small town and dont know what edible food is. If you're going to be paying 16 dollars for two eggs two sausage and two bacon and a hash brown you'll find it cheaper at nester's market. I can't help to feel anger and betrayal that i've wasted my hard earned money at such a tourist trap of a restaurant. its like going to the hard rock cafe and expecting good food. don't get me wrong i feel terrible for leaving such a bad review during a global pandemic where restaurants are hit the hardest but just like a forest grows bigger and better from a forest fire, this place needs to improve. Also, the person on the phone kept having to ask her manager for simple pricing / ingredient questions, seemingly as if a customer answered the phone? we drove to a nice lookout to enjoy the food but even the most beautiful view couldn't save this meal. this felt like going to a sunset grill in a third world country

The food was delicious and the staff were great during our visit. Couple of down points was the long wait from where we were seated to when we were provided our food (30-45 minutes) and the staff appeared to be a little hectic by ensuring they spoke to all the tables waiting. Would suggest to downsize capacity so the kitchen is not backlogged when trying to serve so many customers. Also would suggest having a list of things for employees to do when they are not busy. One of the employees just hung around the coffee station outside and only did something when he was instructed to by another employee (i.e. make coffee, clean an open table, etc.).

The waffles are fantastic, and their avocado toast is delicious (apparently we’ve been making ours all wrong) the juices are tasty as well. Definitely recommend if you’re in Jasper, for breakfast or dessert. Great service too!
