You will be able to see the feddbacks of people who are using the products and services of Coco's Cafe (Fruit Store) in Jasper (Canada).
As of day this business has a score of 4.1 out of 5 and this score was based on 127 reviews.
You may have noticed that its rating is really high, and it's based on a high number of opinions, so we may conclude that the assessment is quite faithful. If many people have bothered to leave their feddback when they've done well, it works.
As you know, we do not usually bother to give scores when these are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Fruit Store is classified in the category of Cafe.
OMG! The food was fantastic, my wife and I we really enjoyed the food which was so testy and yummy. We choosed gromer's breakfast and skillet-opoulos, that was great! Whenever I come to Jasper I will try it again for sure ????
Best tea and vegan muffin ever!! I asked for a custom tea i.e. Ginger Latte + Jasper Haze Latte... Money back guarantee!!! A must try... Mind blown!
Staff is courteous, the breakfast wrap is delicious (especially the sauce), and we appreciate the minimal packaging for our to-go order.
quick coffee that wasn't packed at 4pm. staff are friendly, but the music is all over the place and it doesn't exactly have that coffee shop feel when you have top 40 music playing
Great food & Better Vibes. *Solid playlist.
Delicious breakfast.
Very friendly and healthy choices..... did I forget to mention delicious JAVA!!
We came here for their many vegan options. The food was delicious, but seating is a bit cramped and service was slow. Still recommend for healthy, tasty vegetarian/vegan options and good customer service.
Great food and it's nice to support a local business rather than a large franchise. I had the scrambled eggs with a latte and it was all top notch. Staff is very friendly
Coffee can be improved but wonderful place.
Grabbed the "Groomers Breakfast" and ate on their . Soggy hash-browns lil'bit of brisket, and a some tiny portion of wet scrabbled egg. Done in a few bites for $15. ???? Had to raid a friend's snack supply on a trail an hour later as I was starving.
Fair priced breakfast, good coffee, no almond milk?
Cool cafe right next to Connaught Drive. Located next to all the popular tourist shops and they offer an all-day breakfast selection. Food was pretty good, we got the naan chicken sand which, bagel breakfast, coffee and something else (forgot name, see the sandwich and soup item) They can get busy and I found that there was an excess amount of cream cheese on my bagel breakfast meal, would ask for the eggs and avocado on the side next time :)
Very tiny, and small menu.
Been here once before, interesting and appetizing selection of unusual breakfast items. My tummy was irritable and I wanted soup. She asked me if I wanted small or large and I said large. The roasted squash soup was delicious but I was not impressed- for a bowl that barely held one cup, that had cost me just under $6, especially when I had requested 'Large'. I thought about saying something but decided to let it go. When I was finished with the soup I tried my coffee- it was weak and terrible. I went back and explained it was not very good, would it be possible to get the other blend. She immediately asked me what I meant by that and I can't drink it, it's terrible. She said 'well I'll have to charge you for another one'. I asked to speak to the supervisor. She then said she'll get me another coffee and upon handing it to me said "we pride ourselves on how carefully we brew our coffee". Whoa!!!! I was angry, and said I'll speak to a supervisor anyway, I meant to complain about the soup as well but not to this inexperienced girl. I was told they were on vacation so I had to tell the poor girl what to do next time someone complains about their coffee and to remind her I had pre-tipped when I paid and expected better customer service. I am so against pre-tipping now! This is extremely disappointing as even though Tim Horton's was across the street, I do my best to support local independents... worst customer service ever.
Nice staff and cozy atmosphere. Coffee was bitter. Had a burrito which was okay but found no trace of sour cream. Took it to go so I couldn't ask for them to put some on.
I tried ordering a coffee at about 2pm but they told me this cafe doesn't make coffee that late in the day because they end up throwing most of it out. Odd that I couldn't order coffee at a cafe. The cafe is also dirty and cramped. Not a pleasant place to be.
It's okay nothing to blow your mind away here
Open from 6, freshly squeezed orange juice, sourdough bread
One of the best stops on the train across Canada is Jasper station. Not only is it one of the most beautiful towns on this vast land, but it also boasts some of the best fare. I stopped at Coco’s café all three times I rode the train. Each time I was delighted by a delicious, carefully crafted culinary delight. The café has a welcoming vibe, giving it a small coffee shop atmosphere. The staff are wonderfully friendly. I explored most of their vegan options, even having a smoothie. The food is excellent and reasonably priced. Next time I am in Jasper, I will certainly be coming back to Coco’s café.
Coco's Cafe was my absolute favourite spot to enjoy a delicious and hearty home-cooked meal in Jasper and I ate here for almost every meal during my stay in summer 2017. This cute cafe is mostly vegetarian (they do offer some meat dishes), all of their menu offerings can be made vegan if requested and they specialize in gluten-free fare. Their menu had tonnes of mouth-watering dishes for lunch and breakfast. The cafe is small and has limited seating inside and a few tables outside on the sidewalk, but I never had trouble finding a place to sit and eat. I loved the cozy and friendly community vibe of the cafe, the unique and funky decor, the outgoing and friendly staff and the awesome retro music that they played. This place was always busy during my visits with the line-up going out the door sometimes, but the wait was well worth it and the line moved fairly quickly. I tried the Backpacking Hippie breakfast, Vegetarian Chili and the Tofu Wrap and all were incredibly scrumptious. Coco's Cafe is the only restaurant in Jasper specializing in gluten-free and vegetarian food and I highly recommend eating there. Keep up the awesome work! I can't wait to eat here again when I re-visit Jasper one day.
Great Good, awesome coffee, Fantastic service
A cozy little cafe, located right in the heart of downtown Jasper. I appreciate that Coco's is open early to accomodate early-rising travelers and adventurers. On a recent trip to Edmonton and back, we ate at Coco's each time we passed through Jasper Park. The food at Coco's is supremely delicious. The BLT is to die for (especially when you add avocado!) and the sourdough waffle is in a league all its own. I LOVE all the vegan/dairy-free/gluten-free/specialty diet options. Definitely worth a stop!
Really good lunch option. Lots of options and fresh food and friendly service at a decent price. Couldn't fault.
I hate giving bad reviews, but was dirty, very poor customer service(expect some courtesy as a paying customer???) and for amount of food quite expensive.
Always delicious. Always friendly. Come here each time we’re visiting Jasper. Lately we’ve made the transition to Veggie and then Vegan.... and their plant based options are equally impressive.
As a new vegan I must say that Coco's Cafe has the best vegan breakfast options! (I had breakfast there for every day during my stay). The service is excellent, the menu is flexible for every dietary restrictions. After the COVID-19 quarantine, they've put in place a solid sanitary plan! The place is as clean as can be! Thank you foe everything!
Cute little spot with good vegan options and a friendly staff. Reasonable prices compared with the rest of the park.
Lots of vegan options
While vacationing in Jasper, I was delighted to stumble upon Coco's Cafe. They have delicious choices for gluten-free and vegan dietary restrictions! They also make amazing coffee drinks. I highly recommend their almond milk latte! They are able to make a meal to sit in, or take out. While leaving Jasper, I decided to do both by eating breakfast there and taking some food with me. They have quick to go options and are able to make wraps, gluten-full and gluten-free, to go. They have a small cafe which is perfect for their output since they make so many of the meals fresh. I recommend getting there early as it is a popular venue.
For a small, cozy café, they really do have an awesome selection for both food and coffee...not to mention the ability to cater to those with restricted diets and such. They clearly care about what they are serving their customers, and not every place is like that, at all. And the service was so friendly, they came highly recommended by town residents we know, and it didn't take long to realize why. During our short stay, it became clear they are a valued member of the community, judging by a few locals that came in, and overall we came away very impressed, and the only thing we could think of that could be better was if it was bigger! By all means, you have to check out Cocos, you'll be glad you did and you'll probably be back because of it.
Awesomeness! Had the breakfast wrap for breakfast, and ordered a sourdough BLT to go for lunch. Both were great. Next time I’m in Jasper, I’ll be back for more.
Great food, AWESOME coffee, and wonderful service!
This cafe is really showing its age and could use a refresh. Especially in comparison to many other cafes that are within very close walking distance. The drinks were tasty and the staff were very friendly!
Would give a 4-5 stars if I was not vegan.... If you’re going to veganize meals, it might be worth investing in vegan cheese or vegan meat so we don’t feel like we’re paying 15$ for plain toasts and flavourless tofu. « Vegan options » doesn’t mean removing all the stuff from our plates....
Probably had one of my best tasting Chai tea latte here. It was extremely flavourful, creamy, and looked simply amazing. Their oatmeal cinnamon waffles will fill the small establishment with a delightful aroma and fill your stomach since it's so dense. I wouldn't say it was the best waffle I had, but it will give you the necessary energy to tackle any hike you're up to that day. They have many health conscious options for you to choose. Seating is very limited in this cramp spot so try to be courteous to others by not loitering after eating.
Big portion sizes and super tasty. This will be my Jasper stop to support a vegan, LGBTQ friendly establishment.
My favorite cafe in Jasper. Very LGBT friendly! Cool hipster cafe! Amazing healthy food and great coffee. Reccomend them to all my hotel guests.
Went there this morning 16 Sept 17 for breakfast and the service was terrible it's seems if your not a local your order gets put to the back. We waited for over half an hour for a wrap even after asking twice and ended up walking away. Do not go here to eat. They are not interested in visitors. I will not be recommending to other international visitors. Really put a bad start to our day and having a lasting thoughts of service in Jasper J
Really good food, cozy atmosphere
I was told by a local that this spot was incredible so I took her advice and ordered lunch. The butter chick panini was melt in your mouth worthy and the early Grey latte was heaven. I loved the drink so much, I ordered another one for the road. The staff was delightful. For those southerners that know about Asheville, this place felt very much like a restaurant that’s in downtown. I highly suggest this little gem.
Small and bit cluttered and grubby looking. No table service, which is fine, but the counter staff don't really think of important extras like utensils and ketchup. The food and coffee were good, though.
Took almost half hour for our meal, when we were first to arrive @ midday. Ordered burrito bowl and a Rueben. Burrito bowl was just a reheated mixture and not fresh at all, and Rueben was lacking in kraut and dressing. Had to go and chase up our takeaway scone too. Scone was hideously dry - either over baked or been out a good day or two. Good concept of healthier eating option, badly executed. Tables (all 5 of them indoor) were all dirty despite about 6 staff in the actual small cafe section.
Service was a bit slow and the large coffee was a bit small but both were excellent. I had the Coco’s breakfast wrap and the curry wrap was a the kicker. Not spicy but crazy flavorful. Excellent place for a “quick” breakfast......if you call ahead. Worth the wait regardless.
Our favourite breakfast place in Jasper. They were quite busy when I showed up to collect my mobile order but they were really hustling to get everyone their food and coffees. My wrap was fantastic and my wife loved the Granola yogurt cup. Thanks to the crew and we will see you next time we are in town!
Sorry to burst the bubble, definitely not worthy of 4stars. Costumer service: Didn't feel welcome from the moment we walked in. Manager/lead counter guy was very unfriendly and borderline rude. He seemed to be more interested in talking to his friends who were hanging out in the cafe. Facility: seating for approximately 10 people max. The entire place needs a thorough cleaning especially the bathroom (Check out the dust in the light fixture). Food: Mediocre at best. The menu looks good but the food failed to deliver (we ordered the waffles and breakfast bagel). Undercooked scrambled eggs, raw onion, burnt and small portion of hash browns, soggy and flavourless waffles. Coffee was also disappointing.
Great recommendation from my vrbo owners. I wouldnt normally do a mexican wrap for brunch, but this was really tasty and well worth trying. I can see why the locals love this place.
Lovely little place with good food
Funky little spot. My latte was lovely, and the quinoa waffles were very tasty. The local art inside is really cool, and the bathroom is even worth a visit because it is decorated from ceiling to floor with unique artwork.
Great atmosphere, delicious food (especially for breakfast). I had the huevos rancheros, the potatoes were fantastic.
Great little place to eat without feeling bad later
Ordered a flat white was given a large latte that just tasted like all milk, was told its "pretty much the same thing" a chicken wrap coffee and cookie cost me $21... and we cleaned our own tables. The food was okay but wouldn't choose to go back.
Loved the peach and brandy pie!
When I arrived in the morning it was only 3° which is quite cold. They had the door wide open. Regardless of having a heater on above the door, it was still quite chilly since the place is not very big. I asked if they could shut the door. It was shut for maybe 15 minutes and then one of the employees (maybe the manager or owner) opened it again. I had to leave shortly after because I could not warm up. I also think the barista could have had more of a warm and welcoming attitude. Seems like a nice place, just wasnt the most pleasant experience for me, personally.
The breakfast wrap is top notch ???????? decent pricing and great service
Awesome place, awesome owners. Food is great eat breakfast and lunch here whenever I'm in town. Never grows old always scrumptious!!!
My wife loves the coffee here. Enough said.
Super cozy
The coffee was nice and the setting is cozy. However, the food didn’t taste very good and I actually felt a bit ill for the whole day after breakfast here.
Vegan friendly cafe with lots of options serving along with lots of delicious freshly baked bagels sourdough breads eggs and assorted drinks and freshly squeezed juices. Loved the service and the quirky hand painted washrooms. A must if visiting Jasper. Would surely recommend to all.
Good coffee and food.
Cute place with amazing food. I would really recommend coming here for lunch or breakfast. If anything the place just smells amazing! Very kind and friendly staff as well.
It was 6:30 in the morning the the baristas were very friendly and the coffee..... bam! It was delicious! We’ll be back!
Friendly staff, great latte's. Wraps and other food are decent.
Great service and delicious homemade breakfast! Everyone is very friendly, the food is amazing and the freshly squeezed orange juice is the best! Also the oatmeal cinnamon waffles are the best waffles I've ever had! Worth the wait!
I've had the most tasteful dirty chai latte in this cozy place ????
Their Oat Mocha is the best. I love how the foam is just perfect and it is not too sweet. Tastes just perfect.
I got the Reubin on rye. Probably the best Reubin I have ever had. Definitely recommend stopping here
Great little cafe with friendly staff. Nice selection with several celiac and vegan options. Portion sizes are a little small but the taste makes up for it!
Loved their breakfast bagel and wrap ???? Great place to start your day before heading in the mountains.
Amazing breakfast food and lattes! One of my favorite places in Jasper! Make sure to give yourself time if you want to take it to go, as it can take a few minutes to get the food. However, it is well worth the wait!!
Cozy cafe with a tofu scramble that’s on point.
Great breakfast place before along hike.
I used to like Coco’s, but I think I’ll stick to Bears Paw from now on. Their food is overpriced, and it’s honestly quite average. But the service has gone downhill, which makes all the difference. Paid $42 for two coffee’s, a sandwich with lettuce and tomato, and two tortillas with a sad amount of salsa and beans. After ordering the vegan BLT, they failed to let me know that they didn’t have the “bacon” to make it. Offered to make me a dish that was four dollars less than what I paid instead or add “extra vegetables.” I had already been waiting 15 minutes at this point so I opted for extra vegetables. The extra vegetables were approximately 3 slices of avocado. Lol. I’m so glad I sat around waiting for ages for some vegetables on bread, when I could have gone down the street and bought something better for a third of the price right out of the case.
Order the breakfast wrap for $10. It was okay, way overpriced. The description said bacon but it was more like a pinch of chopped bacon
Such a great coffee and brunch place - would go here all the time if lived here.
Very average food, not cheap. We were served burnt potatoes with our scrambled eggs !! No wifi . Service very average, usual Canadian friendliness missing. Sorry but a big disappointment
Nice little Cafe. Really nice staff.
The breakfast burritos are just awesome. You have to try this!!
Was great, breakfast was good and the options are really different from what I'm used to which was great. Too bad it isn't a bigger place had to wait a bit. Love the service as well
Breakfast wraps are the best thing ever. Coffee is mint too.
Best breakfast I ever had!
We popped into Coco's Cafe (July 2018) while we were camping in the area and weren't overly blown away by our experience. My husband and I are somewhat limited in our foodie options being that we have to find celiac friendly locations so when this place came up on Google we thought it would be a good fit. The atmosphere is very hippie chic with local art contributions on the walls and a very eclectic vibe which can be great, done the right way. Everything inside is very aged and worn, including the kitchen. Age isn't necessarily a negative, but overly worn and unclean is. The utensils in the communal bins were spotted and some were dirty, so I'm not sure if the dishwasher wasn't working correctly that day (or maybe there actually isn't an automated dishwasher at all). The kitchen was messy and appeared to be unclean from the areas we could see. The food was okay, not great. Taste and appearance were like something you would find in a low budget cafeteria. Portions were small, and ingredients looked cheap. Imagine a college student making a full breakfast while trying to stick to a minimal dorm budget, that's the meal we had. The upside was that we didn't get sick which was the one win. Normally we enjoy cozy little unique places like this, but this visit was underwhelming. It wasn't terrible, but in a tourist location like this there are many other options that might be more satisfying for your dollar!
For more reviews of soup locations check out @therealsoupnation on Instagram. ---------- Cream of potato and vegetable ---------- Jasper… What a place for soup. When soup becomes life, it begins to infect your mind. Snow capping the mountains appears to transform into creamy soup dripping down a bread pyramid. One wonders if this is becoming a problem, until soup hits the lips. Problem solved.
Loads of healthy breakfast options, yummy baked goods and hot coffee. Service was excellent.
Crowdy tiny place (I get it, touristic town). Waited good 40 minutes for my waffles. Self service, dirty tables, dirty dishes drop off was pretty full. The food was fine. Since you have to wait for so long and stand by the kitchen you watch your food and coffee prepared. If you want your mug being touch inside by dirty fingers (the girl just grabbed it putting her fingers inside, where someone’s mouth going to touch the cup instead of a handle hold) that is place for you. And more so with the food, licking fingers etc. Painful to watch knowing it’s your food there.
The ginger latte is unique and very good. Breakfast was good, burrito was good. All around a nice meal, both food and drink.
Good options for vegans, vegetarians and omnivores alike!
Excellent vegan options, consistently tasty. Their homemade fake-on (bacon substitute) is delicious and a nice change from other versions. The homemade vegan mayo is also delicious. The sourdough bread on my sandwich was top notch. If you hit a busy time, they can can overwhelmed and not able to keep up with clearing tables or stocking water cups, but the food is worth it. I'll definitely keep going back!
The staple for breakfast on jasper trips
We had breakfast here two days. It's a small place... Maybe 5 or 6 tables. Very nice people run it. Visited with the other customers while eating. The food was great. Rustic thick sliced toast. Nicely done scrambled eggs. Not the usual frozen fried potatoes ... Real homemade fried potatoes... With some fresh oregano on there. Soooo good. Good coffee, too.
A tiny cafe on Jasper's main drag with some of the best food in town, and all at a reasonable price. Mostly soup-and-sandwiches, but always some unique dishes, tasty and well-prepared.
Gluten free options were unavailable after i had already paid for my Huevos Rancheros with gluten free wrap. The staff said it would instead be served on hashbrowns. What they gave me was a bowl of mushy ingredients and actually no hashbrowns, unless they think baked Potatoes are hashbrowns. Lastly, Huevos Rancheros is a mexican dish that consists of two sunny side eggs on tortilla with salsa... if your going to reinvent the dish at least make it as epic. Staff was sweet, young, and have metal straws available :) I would like to go back when they have their ducks in a row as there is definitely potential!
Really awesome vegan options!!
Very good
Great food, they have vegan dishes that actually has flavour! I always stop here on my way in and out. They even can make u dairy free drinks which is a plus!
Great atmosphere in this small little café. Very interesting and unusual menu items. The Oatmeal Cinnamon Sourdough Waffles topped with fresh fruit were superb and prompted my wife to insist that we go back the 2nd day we were in the area for breakfast. Good value too.
Don't eat there anymore,I am plant base only.
Great coffee from Alberta roasters, awesome breakfast and lunch choices for all kinds of dietary needs or choices.
Delicious fresh food, incredible coffee, nice cozy cafe with friendly staff. Highly recommend!
Such a cute place. Got the back packing hippie for breakfast.. tofu has never tasted so good!!
Awesome service and the food was friggen amazing! Vegan options!
Fantastic food! Best place to go for breakfast in town, staff are friendly and helpful. Great way to start your day with coffee they offer. I personally love their skillets and they do offer a variety of menu options. But be prepared to wait during season times.
It's honestly a cute little place with a good atmosphere and friendly staff. Good tea. The food isn't very good, but it's at least reasonably priced. Definitely worth a visit.
Love this place! I come by whenever I’m in Jasper. I can not stop ordering to tuna sandwich. Lots of options for different diets, and the food is oh so fresh.
Great food and fun atmosphere. The local art is different and interesting, and the food is high quality. Try the breakfast wrap!
This hip little place is amazing. Great coffee made by nice people.
Good breakfast. Usually quite busy. Has gluten free and vegan options.
Delicious food; a must go instead of paying for your hotels breakfast
Great ambiance. Lovely food and staff. Prices are a bit high.
Great freshly baked breakfast! Their bagels are amazing. They are fresh, soft and better than other franchise stores have to offer. Their cream cheese is very delicious. They are bit pricey though. Their coffee is “ok ok”and equally pricey. perhaps they can improve their coffee.
Had breakfast here. Was very good. Highly recommend the granola bar on your way out!
Was disappointed the food was ok but boring. I had the burrito and when it was served it was just the burrito on a plate (I felt it missed something) my wife has the seafood chowder and it was some kind of soup? But she couldn’t eat it. I think that they need to present the food better.
Delicious food, serving size felt smaller than I would expect for the cost.
Wow what great food and super cool atmosphere!!
Really good coffee and lattes are served here! Food was good, not great. The descriptions on the menu are misleading in the sense that they really embellish the food served. There was only 2 people working there, but they did a really good job getting food out in an efficient manner. Coffee and lattes were fairly priced, but I felt the breakfast was pricey. Not the greatest value.
Says it catered to vegans and vegetarians but there’s really only one or two options Vegan BLT was just a mediocre bean sandwich and none of the sides were vegan
Great cup of coffee in Jasper. Staff are friendly and the food is decent. Nothing mind blowing but still worth.
One of the staff members complimented my Homestar Runner hoodie. Five stars!
Incredible nice coffee shop, friendly staff and a lot of vegan and gluten free options! Prices are fair and not expensive.
Great food and awesome espresso.
I had the pleasure of attending a wedding and tasked with organizing the day of in Jasper, AB. The wedding was catered by CoCo’s cafe lead by Andrew & Lynn Wannop- the day of the wedding, the team were all professionally dressed, courteous, kind and extremely attentive. The food came out on time and was delicious! There were times that we had asked the team to go above their mandate... and they did without hesitation. If you need an event catered- you will not be disappointed with CoCo’s café!
My americano was really good, but two stars because there was a huge, dark hair in my egg burrito which was totally gross!!
Withholding the fifth star to try to keep Coco's under the radar. It's alarming that it's possible to ever sit in here at all. The Groomer's Skillet laid a fresh layer of corduroy satiety over the icy, rutted, moguls of my stomach and the coffee was what the French call "Sur La Fleeque". Be prepared to be educated about irritating granola local events and lured into unnecessary cookies. There are pillows on the chairs and love in the air. Chapeau, Coco's.
The Chi latte had no children in it at all the tables were dirty and the service was not great!
Best coffee in town, but pricier (and slower) than other Jasper cafés. Their brewed coffee carafes should be on the till side of the bar so the cashier can pour brewed coffee instead of you having to wait for the barista to finish all of their espresso drinks before pouring your coffee. If that were the case, this would be a fantastic place for your daily coffee. All in all the coffee, food, and atmosphere are all great. Plus it's an awesome option for those with dietary restrictions; lots of gluten-free and vegan menu items.
Wow, amazing breakfast food. Try the home made bread and home made jam. The staff here is so very nice as well. Best coffee I've had in a long time too.
Great place for breakfast and coffee! Gluten free options as well. Fresh squeezed orange juice. Ate here twice during our trip!
Ok real talk. I love Coco’s coffee. Every time I come through Jasper I stop in for the coffee. But today we came in. We’re the only ones in there, and the tables were super dirty. Like, come on. A little simple upkeep of the place would go a very long way. Especially if you have time. I get it, things get busy. But there was no excuse this time. Again, love the coffee. But I may not be coming back.
I found a small but still significantly visible ball of hair under my breakfast burrito, it was a complete turn off. When expressing this to staff, they weren't very apologetic, and seemed to treat my request for a refund as a nuisance. The coffee was alright, but after that treatment I wouldn't return.
The wraps and coffee were amazing. We ordered ahead for two times and the order was ready right away.
Wonderfully subversive cafe. Great food
No Wi-Fi in a cafe was frustrating because I came into town from camping to have breakfast and do some trip planning. Food was okay and over-priced. Service is really nothing since you order at the counter and clear your table.
Great breakfast with the exception of the Lox I added to my breakfast! Lox is a salty brined salmon fillet that I would say is definitely an acquired taste. All in all a great experience!
The staff was nice, however the wait time was outrageous! We ordered simple things yet we waited for upwards of 45 minutes. If you can make food in a timely manner you need to simplify your menu. The coffee tasted good, but again the wait time was ridiculous. When we finally got what we ordered it was nothing like the description. The wrap I ordered basically contained only eggs. Don't go there if you are in a hurry. Absurdly long wait. Subpar food.
The food was good enough but fairly expensive.
One of the best caffe lattes in town.. good capiccupino too.. great veggie and vegan options..
Staff was super friendly but we were very disappointed with the food. We ordered a gluten-free vegetarian burrito and expected a hearty veggie/rice-filled wrap. For $12, we got a wrap that hardly had anything in it. It was so small that we easily could have eaten 3 of them. Very disappointing for our hungry bellies.
Busy but worth waiting for the delicious latte. Didn't eat breakfast here.
Best breakfast wrap ever
This is very odd that no one else serves regular breakfast. Only buffet or this caffee. I ordered espresso and omlette with meat, bacon and lox on a side. Coffee was burned , omlette just ok no better than buffet in the hotel but pricy.
So glad to find a place with delicious gluten free food on my holiday! Tasty food friendly, staff and eclectic atmosphere. Will be returning. Thanks!!!
Great soup and sandwich combo
The food is a bit slow and a bit bland but being one of the few vegetarian friendly places in Jasper it might be your only option. The water jug wasnt filled either. At least the staff were friendly and there's some outdoor seating.
Tight quarters but the food is great! Try the breakfast wrap
Lovely! Good food and we were served at the counter by a very sweet person.
Dig this little hole in the wall downtown Jasper. The vegan options are tasty as all get out
This place is the fantastic. If you're looking for a quaint restaurant to have breakfast or lunch in Jasper, then Coco's Cafe is for you. Super bonus if you love coffee, they serve the best coffee in Jasper. It's worth the wait to sit down, but also still super tasty to take to go. My favourite is the Coco's Breakfast Wrap (easy to eat in the car, if you're heading out on the road). They also showcase local art which adds to the charm. Love it here.
Quaint and very tasty, creative latte's!
Cute cafe, fast service, delicious drinks and food! Good place to go if you are hungry, serving sizes were very generous.
Great stop for a quick coco
Honestly would be a 5 if it wasn't for a slight lack of information. Didn't mention red onion or green pepper in scrambled eggs. Otherwise amazing food, good coffee and friendly atmosphere. Really crammed though, be prepared to get friendly with your neighboring tables!
Terrible, expensive coffee. Small place, bit much seating.
Great food. Thai coconut soup and chicken sandwich were good.
we went here for breakfast ! Not bad
The vegan meal was awesome! The only thing is that I felt the portion size could have been bigger..
I'm not sure how they justify a $16 breakfast bagel with no meat on it. And to add two thin strips of bacon is $2.50. That's wildly overpriced and for what?
Read reviews and decided to go here. Staff was friendly anf they have amazing wraps, would definately go back again!
Exceedingly expensive! They charged me more than the already outrageous price posted so that was annoying. I asked about the discrepancy and was brushed off. The latte was okay, but nowhere near as good as it should have been given the price point. Tim Hortons is better and they aren't great.
Many many vegan options and gluten free! Very cute cozy spot!
Great fresh healthy foods and you can get takeout sandwich’s for lunch.
Best breakfast wrap !
Love the atmosphere and the coffee
Tasty, healthy options available (GF, VG etc) - slightly edgy vibe but friendly atmosphere, you can share tables with other people when busy - clean bathroom in the back too
Really good food. Its really tiny so its hard to get a seat. and I am sure later on in the summer it gets really busy. But the food is good. You walk up order and then sit down. They normally bring you your food and you eat. They also customize everything in case you have special diet needs.
Local food...Good Local Food Every trip we try to find one place that becomes our best surprise in a given location. Coco's was definitely the winner in Jasper. It happened to be almost across the street from our hotel so we wandered in early one morning for breakfast and it was just a great experience. Run by a husband and wife team, this is their dream and they take it very seriously. The food was fresh, hot and local and the coffee was excellent. Seating was limited but it really did not get that crowded...try it the next time you're in Jasper.
Coffee is good quality (Phil & Sebastian's). Service was not great; it wasn't busy but it took a few mins for them to notice we were waiting to order, and once we ordered it took a while for the food. Food was okay. I had the waffle, which tasted very slightly undercooked and came with some sad, liquidy/melted whipped cream. The other members of our party liked the skillet, but the backpackers lunch was not really a hit (and also came out slightly cold). I would go back for coffee but not for brunch. It's got a nice, chill vibe as well and some eccentric art.
An absolute must visit when in Jasper. Highly recommend the breakfast wrap
Great coffee and breakfast
Great coffee, good food. Other than that 4 of us had terrible experience here. We were sitting outside. No one came to clean our table until I asked. No one called our names outside when the coffee was made. It was just sitting at the counter until I came in to check. We ordered 4 meals all at the same time and they were ready at different times. By the time I got my grilled sandwich other people in our group already finished their food.
Nice place but with owful coffe- expresso and not so nice ginger cookies ???? Im sorry gry harder
As always Coco's never disappoints. Their breakfast wraps and homemade waffles were just as amazing as I remember!
Intentionally made me wait for unexpected time just to give me a baggle just because i gave 10% tip instead of 20%.. and i could feel they were not following what i requested for in like give milk instead of creamer.. they made me wait for 15 mins just for jo reason and behaved bad.. Message to owner: please make them aware that they should not change their behavior when customer gives lil less tip which may impact your reputation in future..
Soup and sandwich ordered. Soup was cold and sandwich was burnt. Tossed the soup in the microwave and then said “here”. Then commented that I didn’t like the sandwich. The fact it was burnt should have been enough. No apology. Staff was rude. Do not recommend
Home, healthy, friendly staff, good food, nice relaxing and quietly upbeat music. Self serve cutlery, water and buss your own dishes area... cooperative!
A great place in the area for vegan & vegetarian options. We came here everyday when we were in town because it was a quick and easy option with great coffee.
Waited a good 30 minutes for a grilled cheese and when it came it was pretty hard to eat. The cheddar cheese used doesn't get stringy so nothing is contained in between the bread.
Tried the ginger latte with soy, love it. Worth the wait
Really delicious coffee, and clean, fresh food. A diverse menu, with lots of healthy options. Gluten-free bread is also available, which is really nice! Very friendly staff, as well.
Decent food nothing special portion size needs to be a bit bigger for a breakfast/lunch cafe. GREAT Service.
Love it! Great options of vegetarian food!
I went here when I was visiting jasper as it was the only place I could find with vegan options. The cafe is very tiny and quite dark inside and the kitchen looked really unclean with random food spread all over the place. For example I saw a half eaten pie just sitting on the kitchen counter. The tables were all dirty with food bits still covering the tops and the floors. The man taking my order did not seem too friendly and the food was quite bland with not a lot of taste. Above all, I don't think I will be returning.
We stayed in Jasper for 2 nights and the first morning before skiing I had a tofu scramble and the gf had a vegan BLT sandwich on sourdough. The next day we tried the sourdough waffles. Excellent quality food at a reasonable price. I love all the vegan options and look forward to returning to this cafe in the future.
We hired Lynn & Coco's Cafe to cater our rehearsal dinner as well as the morning of our wedding breakfast tray and lunch - and wow! Everything was so delicious and Lynn was amazing to work with! Everything was absolutely perfect but we need to highlight the lunch time sandwiches - the Reuben was like nothing I have ever had before it was incredible & it was made with homemade bread! If you are having any event in Jasper I highly recommend working with Lynn & Coco's your tummy will thank you!
Very different from your usual breakfast stop. Some outdoor seating but small place. Recommend for any visitor who needs a tasty healthy breakfast.
Great little spot for breakfast. Got the smoked salmon bagel, the Mexican style breakfast, a fresh juice and a dirty chai. Everything was really tasty and came out quickly. It's a tiny shop, but they have done well with the space they have available. Will probably go here daily for breakfast for the rest of our trip!
A wonderful cozy cafe to get breakfast. The food was great, I really enjoyed my coffee and my wife loved her caramel latte. Also there is some local artwork for sale that my wife was thrilled to purchase for our home! We highly recommend stopping in while you are in Jasper!
My wife and I spent the weekend in Jasper and Sunday morning we found this place. I will be honest, the place is quite small, and the prices quite high but it's to be expected in Jasper. Also the portions aren't huge so don't expect a Cora breakfast, however it is filling and good quality food. We showed uup at around 10am and it was pretty empty, but 15 mins later it was packed up so much that the line-up went all the way outside. So show up early!
Really bad tea and coffee. Tea taste like overnight. Couldn't even finish coffee. Ordered waffle has a sour flavour to it. The side fruits is not even fresh. Strongly recommend NOT to come!!!
This place has a certain charm, the staff was friendly and the food was good. Unfortunately, it is a little cramped.
Quick service, breakfast burrito was delicious but I would recommend skipping on the meat as I think it took away from the dish itself. Coffee was smooth (Phil and Sebastian from Calgary) and other food items smelled and looked delicious.
Great coffee and amazing breakfast wraps! Open early.
Definitely a must-visit while in Jasper. Try the breakfast wrap. Although I'm not always 100% confident about the food handling situation here, the food is always outstanding, and the people are always super friendly.
Best latte I've had in a long time, and the burrito's - yum!
Small and pretty busy, but the quality of the drinks and food makes it worth the visit, good vegan options.
We tried their famous burrito and huevos rancheros burrito. Both were delicious and the green salsa in the huevos rancheros had a medium spice to it that was perfect! Got an iced coffee and Chai latte. Iced coffee was decent and the Chai latte could have had stronger flavors. The breakfast options are great here if you're are looking for something different. We would go back. There were more breakfast menu items I would love to try.
Have been here twice and will come again. It certainly is not cheap, but what in Jasper is? The food here is wonderful, delicious and clearly fresh. My brother said the tomato soup is "probably the best I've had in my life". The sandwiches "include" a side, when asked if I wanted one and declined I thought the price would be lower, apparently not. Lost a star for that. The sourdough could be cut thinner too.
Sorry to say I wouldn't recommend this place. Tofu scramble was small and frankly just tasted odd, as well as there were being barely any veg besides potatoes. Overpriced as everything else in town. Still would rather have eaten here than support any chain/fast food garbage
We had the grilled turkey Electra wrap with roasted carrot and feta soup. Plus a groomers breakfast. Both were awesome. great coffee and a nice cozy atmosphere in downtown Jasper. Always great and friendly staff.
relax and great place but the coffee is ok....
Good coffee, friendly staff, expensive, no wifi, no place to plug in, cozy & quirky. I had a mocha which was presented very nicely with a chocolate drizzle (see photo). It was a little sweet for my taste. I prefer a darker chocolate flavor. Cost for a large was almost $8. I haven't ordered coffee anywhere else in Jasper but the price was about double what I paid in Banff/Lake Louise.
Great sandwiches and service, quaint and homemade goodness.
Stumbled across this place while at Timmies. Over-priced, bland food. I had their oatmeal waffle which they described as light and fluffy... Served with fresh fruit and vanilla whip cream... More like it's dense waffle served with yesterday's fruit salad and artificial whip cream. Not impressed for the 12 bucks I spent.
had THE BEST cherry chocolate muffin here. It almost was the highlight of our ski trip! haha. The coffee was delicious also! Keep up the awesome work.
The wraps and the waffles were awesome. The staff was rad.
Ordered the oatmeal with fruits and nuts for breakfast to go. The generous size lasted for lunch as well and was delicious. Highly recommend this dish.
Great range of food, great coffee and lovely atmosphere. The kinda place I would be happy to go to daily!
My Jasper Haze latte was amazing and my breakfast wrao was really delicious.
We loved our coffees and the wrap I ordered was great but the space in this cafe is very tiny and cramped and it felt a bit awkward not knowing where to stand or what to do with myself while we were waiting for our food while other people were at tables immediately behind us. Conversations in there were basically non-existent since everyone is on top of everyone else and the entire place would be able to hear every word... I would say that our experience was just okay, not sure I would return on our next trip.
It is a fantastic place to get brunch and lunch. Prices are reasonable.
One of my favourite cafés ever and super queer friendly to boot!
We go here every single time we're in Jasper. Sometimes more than once. When we ordered during the pandemic they had a option for donating a meal to someone in need. That is the kind of great people who run this place. You should go!
The service was slow, as there was only one or two people taking orders/cooking around 8am. Regular drip coffee was too acidic for my personal taste, but latte was alright. The coffee they use, is pretty local, which is from Calgary (I think). The avocado toast was a miss, where it looked unappetizing, and way too big of a portion. The breakfast burrito on the other hand, no complaints. It was generally expensive for what they were. It could've been Jasper premium though.
Wonderful lunch here! BLT was refreshing and the Reuben was delicious. Espresso was high quality so I imagine the coffee game is strong if you come earlier. Fun vibe for a laid back meal. Small place, so don’t be surprised if it’s busy
Very long wait. Ordered 2 coffees. It took them 20min to make. Disappointed in the service.
Excellent gluten free breakfast wrap
Warm and welcoming staff. I had a great time here.
My spouse and I went to Coco's for breakfeast twice. We each ordered different dishes on both times and exchanged some portions to eachother. All four breakfeast plates were excellent. The portions were extremely generous; they all had at least three eggs with a lot of vegetables and cheese. The bread was delicious as was their coffee; macchiato, latte, cappucino. The staff was friendly. The place is a little bit small to accomodate the crowds that visit during the busy summer time. Very nice experience and highly recommend it
Food was decent but a little on the expensive side for the quantity
What a gem! If you don't stop here for soup and a sandwich you have no brains. The coffee is incredible just like the staff.
Delicious unique food. Expensive though.... All of jasper seems expensive
Friendly service. Food was delicious. Seating was not particularly comfortable (lots of hard wood). Portion sizes on the small side, and prices on the high side (Jasper's a tourist town, after all).
We visited as read lots of things about it being the best cafe in Jasper, but we were a little disappointed by the food! Not the cleanest place either. Nice staff though and good vegan and gluten free options.
Tiny little place, nice friendly staff. Cappuccino was terrible, was sour as heck and no foam on top. May as well have ordered a latte. The huevos rancheros wrap turned my wife's plate into a little lake of soup. Made the wrap soggy and gross. Unfortunately, I found a hair in my wrap. Without hesitation, the cook offered me another meal or a refund. I'd try them again, but just order the regular breakfast plate.
Good breakfast and nice staff
We loved this cafe. It’s got a nice patio infront, and also great food and service
Amazing little gem in Jasper. Great for everyone, including vegans and celiacs!
My stupid body it totally intolerant of gluten and dairy. I love both. I am accustomed to mediocre, even awful food made for dairy and gluten intolerant food. At Coco's I was in for a surprise. I had the tuna wrap and lentil soup and both were a delight!so yummy. Coco's has earned 5 stars! It will be my go-to place in Jasper from now on. This is posting as Anna Graves. I don't know who that is! I'm Dale Pollard.
Fanstastic local cafe. Delicious food!
Loved the breakfast burrito
Love, love, love this place! Super yummy, and has a great atmosphere. My only wish is that it was a bit bigger so that you do not feel rushed to get out of there once you have finished eating.
The food was good but not sure if it was worth the price. I would try it again though.
Drinks were good but the service was terrible. We were given attitude the whole time, staff was unresponsive, and then demanded tips even though we were ordering for take out. Also, they did not provide straws and we were not told before ordering. The coffee was easy to drink from the cup but with a frappe was impossible. No matter how good the food may be, it is not a substitute for terrible service. Will not recommend this cafe to anyone who wants to be treated with respect.
I adore this quaint, cozy cafe. My boyfriend and I only eat here for breakfast (in our opinion no other cafe compares)... their food is very unique and delicious!! The staff are incredibly friendly and down to earth. This is probably our favorite spot in Jasper, we feel at home here.
Probably the best cup of coffee ive had on Jasper, though a bit pricey it was well worth it. Unfortunatelt however i was really disappointed by the double chocolate and pecan cookie. Though it looked appealing and was very nocely packaged with a cute sticker and it tasted a bit stale and was very stiff and hard around the edges. After wetting it a bit and warming it in the toaster it was a bit better but still not somehing id buy again. Go here for their coffee and perhaps for their sandwiches etc but deft not for their choclate chip pecan cookie.
Great taco pop up ????
Their food is SO GOOD and certainly worth it. Who knew jam on toast could be life changing? Plenty of vegan and gluten free options available. BUT: you need to come very early or on an off hour because the building is very small and Coco’s is very popular. It will be hard to get a table and the wait will be long if you come at a busy hour (still worth it). Expensive food but really, REALLY good.
Really good place for breakfast with great coffee and tea choices.
Very cute little shop, the wrap we had was lovely and the service was nice also! Especially when it was so busy in there to! Very cute little place !
Very dirty washroom; even have walk through kitchen to access it! Coffee OK.
friendly staff food was good
Cute little coffee joint in town, great coffee, friendly service
Will avoid this place
Amazing breakfast wraps! Best in Alberta! Amazing waffles and amazing coffee! The staff are pretty darn amazing too! Always make several trips to Coco's when we visit Jasper!
Great coffee, super cute place, great staff especially Charlotte, and delicious healthy food
Ginger latte was great and nice to find. Friendly staff. No WiFi.
Amazing breakfast! The veggie bagel wrap is so good.
Bitter coffee, no WiFi, out of baked goods at 3 pm.
Great place! Owner has nice jeans. I honestly just go to look at his raw denim jeans. They are the most majestic things I have ever seen. Looking at them rivals watching my children's birth. The food is good too I guess....
Google Reviews brought us here and, without a doubt, the majority were accurate. Cozy is the word. Thoroughly enjoyed breakfast. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros and it was an ample portion, both delightful and flavourful. The staff were genuine and friendly. The only reason that I've rated this four stars (I wish I could rate it four and a half) was due to their policy (or lack thereof) that allowed a few of their patrons, that had only ordered coffee, to tie up the only large table in the place while they were doing homework on a Sunday morning. Being a party of 5 waiting for one of their 4 tiny tables, I was more than a little perturbed. Outside of that little hiccup (we were eventually able to push two tables together) an overall enjoyable time. I highly recommend this spot for breakfast while visiting Jasper.
Decent place, expensive for something largely under whelming. The menu descriptions sound more exciting than the provided product. Kitchen could look a bit better as well. But decent service considering they do offer vegan and vegetarian options. Friendly and warm atmosphere.
Waited for a very long time (over a half hour) for two sandwiches. They said they were expediting them but when we got them they were cold and the hash browns were luke warm at best. My tomato on my BLT smelt and tasted moldy. Over priced for a breakfast that has made me feel ill from the taste to the extra long wait time. I would understand wait times if people who ordered after me didn’t get their food before me! I would not recommend them!!
It is a great cafe the service is fast and the food was well done the vegan chilli is very good and the bagel that came with it was high quality.
Cutest little spot. Great food and coffee.
Friendly staff but would not recommend this place! The couscous bowl wasn't hot enough to cook and had so much cinnamon that it was bitter. The groomers breakfast had nice smoked meat but the eggs were gritty and the rest of the dish was underwhelming. The whole experience would have been ok if not for how dirty it was. There was beard hair in the chai latte and a huge stack of dirty dishes in the way of the water and the clean cutlery.
We waited 40 minutes for 2 items. The coffee(s) were atrocious: a regular milk latte and a soy milk latte - the soy milk was curdled the first go around and was the worst tasting coffee I have so far in my life lol. The two star rating is given due to the friendly staff and decent food. If the wait time could get sorted out and the coffee actually palatable, that would make this place worthwhile.
Had the Montreal smoked meat sandwich, best I've ever had. Worth stopping for
Terrible, crowded, overpriced bad food with long wait times and bad atmosphere. Staff are cold and unfriendly. Definitely wouldn't recommend to anyone ever unless they like bad stuff.
This place is awesome. Try Coco’s breakfast it’s super tasty and cheap. The coffee and tea are tasty too. I definitely recommend it. I’ll come back ????
Looked promising, though pricey, but the salad of the day (potato dijon) was a soggy mess of wet gooey salad and whole potatoes. I dont know why theyd serve anything like that. Grilled cheese was good, but only because there was an insane amount of cheese and butter on thick bread, not because it was worth 11. Dissapointed.
Omg the bagels are to die for. We went back everyday we were in Jasper just for a bagel and cream cheese.
Coco's has great vegan breakfast options. Their service is fast and their non-dairy lattes are amazing.
Inspired food - healthy and original - love this place
Food is very good and plentiful. The customer service is horrible. They are extremely rude, maybe because we are Americans. The place is popular with Canadian millennials. They are very judgmental.
Great vegan options here
Had veggie bagel and chai tea latte Amazing taste
Great spot! One of the rare spots in Jasper where the staff is friendly. Came for the sourdough because the local food guide in my room suggested it. The homemade jam that comes with is a taste of heaven. The other breakfasts going out looked delicious and what I heard other patrons saying were nothing but praise. The breakfast menu has great selection (Lox bagel, heaves rancheros, oatmeal cinnamon waffle, breakfast wrap). If you want a fast breakfast and coffee, go to the Tim's across the street, this place makes a couple orders at a time (small kitchen with only a few staff) and they call your name when your food is ready. It's a real cozy vibe. Very Remedy Cafe-ish (for any Edmontonians reading this).
Very friendly and reasonably priced with amazing food!
Who can froth Almond Milk like a friggin' star?!? Coco's Can! Regular stop everytime we hit Jasper.
This place is great! Real cozy joint in the heart of Downtown Jasper. Lattes are delicious and they had this cheddar jalapeno muffin which was amazing!
Very slow and very expensive
Good vegetarian options, friendly staff, nice little place. Went for lunch on our first visit to Jasper. A little on the pricey side for some veggie options but overall good food.
Thank you for making my day! This cafe is amazing I’m so happy I stumbled upon it. Veg options available. Be back soon ASAP!
Great atmosphere, great menu and the wife and I love coming here.
Great coconut Dahl and coffee!
Came here for the two mornings we were in Jasper and were happy each time. The staff was super nice and also easily accommodated my partner's gluten allergy. Amazing muffins, chai lattes and breakfast wraps.
Love it! Cool local place! Great brunch and coffee
I called first to ask if we can dine in, and said we can as long as we have proof of vaccination. We got there, stood by the door for a good 5 minutes. Three staff saw us standing by the door but didn't say anything. The cafe was tiny, there isn't even a decent space to move between tables. Questionable decor, and not very tidy. After just standing by the door, we decided to approach and seat ourselves, only then were we asked to order by the counter first. My partner ordered the gluten-free wrap. It was small for the price and no sides, and no cutleries. I ordered the bagel, it was good but the side potatoes were burnt and under seasoned, they didn't offer any sort of condiments. I ordered an Americano and was asked if I want cream and sugar, I said yes, the lady asked "to both?", I and answered yes. Coffee arrived and it was black, and there was no sugar or cream on the table. It would have been better to go to Tim Horton's or A&W. A 4.1 star rating is too high, 2.5 is more like it. More hype than anything else.
This past Saturday my friend and I decided to try Cocos cafe. I entered to order from the curly haired brunette with highlights, a wrap that had avocado in it and was kindly informed their avocado was too green to use, if they could substitute for tomato. I said it was fine I like avocado too much to pass so please use avocado. Then I was lied to and told they had no avocado. I questioned this. Then was told again they were too green. I repeated for the 4th time it was ok. We get the order settled. I go to pay, my debit does not have tap. I express this as they have the little Square payment set up on their table. The cashier then lets me know I can either A) give her my pin, or B) use something with tap, like a credit card. I only had my debit on me. I let the cashier know this and she basically said she couldn’t help me. I let her know I’ve used Square payment before and have entered my pin on the screen. I asked if she could just turn the screen she had around to tap my pin in. She refused as “it goes against COVID policy”. I find it EXTREMELY unprofessional that this was said to me at this time. I was not going to give her my pin and it was the only form of payment I had. If this was in fact the company policy then I suggest other measures are implemented for COVID as this situation could have easily been rectified with a sanitized wipe and some professionalism. I come to Jasper very often and wanted to try something new and let’s just say I was less than impressed with this treatment and service. For that my 1 star without even trying the food.
Discovered this little gem passing through and we were glad we stopped here. The over night oats were out of this world good (would not have guessed that they can be that good!). Additionally, the coffee was also done perfectly. Not overburnt cheap coffee, but good quality coffee made well. Space is limited and price is slightly on the higher side but totally worth it.
Small coffee but really good Quality of food and coffee. Just 4 stars because the self made bread is really expensive. And the waffles a little bit dry without Sirup. But the breakfast bagel is really delicious!
I had my wedding cake and cupcakes done by Coco’s cafe and we were blown away by the amazing flavors and attention to detail with every one!! We had a large wedding and everyone raves about how amazing the cupcakes were! And we definitely didn’t have any wedding cake to save! We ate it all!! I would recommend Coco’s to any bride looking for wedding cake/cupcakes in Jasper!! So amazing!
Legendary breakfast rap and dark roast coffee. The owners a as down to earth as they get. Shirt off their back type thing
Another great experience from Coco's! Pick-up order was ready quicky and was very delicious! Latte was perfect.
Small cafe with delicious breakfasts and coffees. Expect it to be busy.
A little bit pricey but the flavors are different and worth the try
Staff were friendly but the quality was lacking. Ordered a bacon potato corn chowder for $8 or $10 (price wasn't listed), which was basically chicken broth with 3 small pieces of potato in it. Coffee was good but very expensive. Huevos wrap and breakfast need cheese. Toast is $5
V good breakfast place
Found the hot chocolate a bit pricey and not as rich as I like it. Was made with steamed milk I believe, but that's a preference thing. There are washrooms but getting to them looked intimidating and not that accessible. The menu did have a good variety however with vegan, gluten free and vegetarian options. Good place if you're over basic ceasar wraps.
Delicious simple food, quite expensive considering simplicity. Very vegetarian friendly.
Staff were friendly, but the food was average. Nothing special that I can't make. I found that the quinoa was under-cooked and quite crunchy. Cozy atmosphere which is nice.
Got takeaway coffee. Coffee flavour was nice. Staff not particularly friendly.
In my opinion the food is over priced and underwhelming. My husband and I spent $30 for the breakfast wrap, huevos rancheros, and very ordinary coffee. The two wraps were both unappetising, soggy, and barely edible. I really did not feel well for several hours after eating. Frankly, the appeal escapes me.
Great food, great atmosphere, great coffee.
I literally just ate a tofu sandwich that tasted like a 5 star resort steak. I would die to know this recipe. My mouth wants more but my belly is screaming no. I’m so full & so happy. Thank you for making my vegan dreams come true.❤️
What drew me in was that they serve Phil & Sebastian coffee! The portions are big! Cute little place
Just had the best BLT of my life. Perfectly cooked thick crispy bacon, perfect tomato the right amount of mayo, amazing sourdough bread. Also had the mushroom miso soup. This soup was a frickin umami bomb. Super delicious not to heavy not too salty. Gosh darn perfect lunch if you ask me. These people are lovely
Vegan review: Stopped here for a drink after seeing it was vegan friendly on Happy Cow! I opted for a chai latte with soya milk and was pleased to see 3 cake options. I got the granola bar cake which was covered in chocolate and really tasty. Quite a quirky place, no WiFi available.
Really disappointed by the quality of the food, we ordered two plates and both were tasteless.
The food was awesome, great flavors and well thought out ingredients. Everything was fresh and delicious, the staff was very friendly and the menu was varied well enough for us that we could easily eat there every lunch and breakfast on our visits to Jasper and not get bored.
But pricy but def fits the vibe for ski town
Just okay. Food and coffee wasn't that good.
It is a strange cafe! They only have one salt and pepper for all the tables, you are to use them, and put them back on the bench. It’s more like a food court where they yell out your name when it’s ready and you collect you dish + condiments. You are also expected to clear your dishes from the table. If you don’t, the staff won’t clear them and they just sit and rot while other customers come in and move them to the side of their table awkwardly. Avoid the black tea, it tastes like dishwater. Food is not ideal
Gluten free cookies are super yum! Coffee delicious! Welcoming for lgbtq peeps! Serving locally roasted coffee, this place is fab!
Ordered lox with bagel. Description on the board says it comes with red onions and capers. It was just a bagel with cream cheese. Complete disappointment.
Great breakfast burritos.
Had both breakfast and lunch at Coco's. Bkfst skillet was delish, as were the tofu wrap and watermelon feta salad. Friendly, attentive staff. Good value for the price point. Would recommend it if you're looking for good honest fare, fresh made on the premises sort of food.
Unfortunately I don't think this place is worth visiting. Food was cold and the onion in my egg dish was raw. Coffee was burnt and bitter. One of our group ordered the hippie mash up. No mention it was a curried dish at all on the menu and it was heavily flavoured that way. For the price we paid it was very disappointing.
Food, service and restaurant setting were mediocre.
I only gave 5 stars because there's no option for more. Decided to check out this little cafe after seeing an ad at Marmot Basin, was not disappointed. The cafe was warm and welcoming and the staff were friendly and patient. We chose it because it has vegetarian and vegan options as well as options for those who eat meat. We shared the breakfast bagel between the two of us and it was plenty. The eggs are served open faced on the two bagel halves so it was easy to share. The hashbrowns were unbelievable, they were herb crusted and had our mouths watering as soon as we saw them. My partner had the freewheel coffee (coffee with a shot of espresso) and he absolutely loved it, I had the caramel latte which was perfectly sweetened and delicious. This was by far our favourite restaurant, definitely not one to miss.
Lovely food and great staff. Makes an awesome cappuccino!!!
Big Community contributors. Tiny & warm. Some staff distant, others attentive. Breakfast wrap good, huge but watery.
Take-out sandwiches not to disappoint. Can’t wait to try the breakfast! They had me with their kindness and generosity posted in the window, a hot lunch for anyone who can’t pay no questions asked— ❤️
No washroom available to patrons.
Awesome little spot!
Vaxpass needed for takeout.
Was so cozy and really friendly service!
Really good food and drink, always great conversation happen hear. I'll return
Best local cafe in Jasper. Tried their Chai Tea Latte, it was amazing.
Just Ace ???????? super helpful
Excellent food and coffee. Wonderful owners that enjoy talking to their customers. Don't be shy of how small this place is as the food they serve packs a big punch! A must stop when you are in Jasper. They are open super early
Besides Tim Hortons, this is the only coffee shop that opens early (around 6). I think I am happy with their food in general (expensive but it's to be expected in that location - about $20 for breakfast with coffee). I don't like their coffee though. The morning I had it, It tasted sour and not enough flavour.
Dont miss their breakfast if you are in the city!
Breakfast wrap tasted good. Place is a bit pricy. They don't have WiFi
Great staff, and decent food. My husband got the breakfast wrap and said it was good. My daughter got a coconut Cherry muffin, and it needed more filling for sure. I got a gluten free wrap, and it was good! Love the atmosphere and the gluten free options for sure. Great coffee too. We'll be back!
Relaxing. Refreshing. Delicious!
For being a place that prides themselves on inclusivity their new policy makes them Jasper's largest hypocrites. I'm disappointed to have spent so much money in here and won't make that mistake again.
Forgotten order and basic service. Disapointed by the coffee, it was horrible. Would not recommend!
If you don't clean the floor and tables immediately I will be broadcasting via Jasper Pride social media to warn people of how dirty this place has become. You need to CLEAN frequently, you serve food! If I don't see a change in the next week I will also call the health department. Hopefully you will respond....Thanks
Good filling food for a decient price. Very tiny and limited seating though
