As you can see it reaches an feddbacks average is nearly the best one, and it's based on a high number of scores, so we can say that the valuation is quite reliable. If people have bothered to value when they are satisfied, it works.
You know that we don't usually bother to put tatings when these are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Fruit Store belongs to the category of Produce market.
Lovely Spring blossoms. We were there in the last week of April.
After a good sun bathing and little swim, we when to this fruit stand, we enjoy it, Don’t miss this place when you do have a chance..
I went to Paynters Fruit Market looking for fresh green beans and they had, so I bought some. They were so good, everyone is very helpful there! I love going there for my fruits and vegetables!
We stop here for ice cream and fresh fruit every summer. The ice cream is always awesome with fresh waffle cones and good selection. The portions are sizeable too! They've got nice tables and chairs with a gorgeous view over the orchard. Highly recommended.
Update September 1, 2020: I received a personal email from Paynter's Fruit market. Very satisfied with the follow up taken. Paynter's took accountability with a reasonable explanation, was apologetic and kindly refunded me as a gesture of good will. Did not except that! Wow!???? You've restored my faith in humanity and customer service! Thank you! 5 STARS for that! Excellent service is so important! Very disappointing visit here this year. We decided to pick our own fruit as the U-Pick area was open. There was no one there to assist or direct customers, however the sign read that peaches were ready and there were containers and boxes available. So, we went into the orchard. When we went to pay, we were told our fruit wasn't ready to pick but we still had to pay. The young cashier acknowledged there was no one there but we shouldn't have picked the fruit and again said, you still have to pay. She checked with her team leader and came back and said you still have to take the fruit, etc.. Even though, the cashier was apologetic on numerous occasions, it didn't negate the fact that I had over $30 in fresh not ready to eat product. I wasn't impressed. Quite surprised and disappointed. We come here every year on our way home to get ready to eat produce. Staff has ways been available, knowledgeable and friendly. Very different experience this year. Social distancing measures were in effect with hand sanitizers and direction markings to guide customer traffic. Unfortunately, I won't be coming back or recommending Paynter's Fruit Stand again.???? Update August 27, 2020: Thanks for your reply. I have sent you an email.
A fun upick located close to town with easily access and friendly staff. Lots of fresh fruit to buy as well. The peaches were huge! There is also a wash station for your picked fruit and a seating area to eat at as well. Prices were very fair. Parking is limited, the lot is small and there isn't a lot of streetside parking either. But be prepared to have a fun timer with the family here. We will be back earlier in the year for cherries and pears.
Loved this market. They have some of the freshest produce I've seen anywhere and so much of it as well. With the orchards in the back and an icecream shop in the front you really can't go wrong here. There are also coolers full of really interesting and diverse local artisan products that are just as high quality as the produce. All the staff we had interactions with were very pleasent and helpful.. we will come back here whenever we are in town.
Cool place to stop at on our way home to Vancouver. They have a U-pick, ice cream, and lots of veggies and local fruit.
Excellent experience for the whole family. The staff is friendly and very helpful making your visit the best it can be. The fruit was sensational, peaches the size of grapefruits and absolutely delicious. Fun for the kids and the adults alike. The market itself is also excellent, lots of selection and top notch produce makes it a must visit when in West Kelowna.
The cherries I bought from here were absolutely delicious! And the ice cream was amazing too, I had the banana fudge and wish I lived closer by to have it more often
Great U-Pick for peaches and pears. Friendly staff, sweet and juicy fruit.
Super fun experience for anyone! I love that we got to eat as much as we can. When we went, pears, peaches and plums were in season. They have a variety of other fruits available in their market for sale as well. The ice cream was delicious as well!
Don’t know why there’s only the front 2 peach trees have peaches on them.
We pick peach for 1.45$ lbs. We had yummy ice cream. Delicious ice cream n you can choose small scoop $3.25 2 scoop good for people want to try the ice cream n have small scoop. The washroom is clean. And you can set and relax on there tables and look the farm and have fresh air
Great place to spend the weekend.
Paynter's Fruit Market is West Kelowna's link to our community's historic contribution to agriculture. Their commitment to education, by touring school classes through their fields, lets kids of today understand where their food comes from and installs values for farm to table produce. We are so lucky to have access to this beautiful business and its delicious products.
I walk here nearly everyday with my dog. The staff are wonderful. I often order the Carmel frappe, which is great. My spoiled dog gets a little baby scoop of ice cream. It’s a great local place to shop and their peaches are SO good.
Love this fruit stand. Right by highway 97 so it's easy to access. Features various types of fruits and price is reasonable too. Has an ice cream stand as well and it's very popular among both locals and visitors.
Busy fruit market with a very good selection of local fruits. Also available in the back is the opportunity to pick your own peaches.
I'm from Edmonton I went to BC kelowna just to pick up peaches love yumyum my kids enjoyed ikw I went alittle late but I still got ????????????????
Fall apples and pear are in...lots of verity to choose.. Nice place to bring the family
Fresh local produce at the best prices. The staff is also exceedingly friendly and knowledgeable. Ask anyone anything and they can tell you about when the cling-free peaches come off or what variety of fruit or vegetable you're looking at and where it was grown. Try the latte or one of the fresh pressed juices.
Update to 2.4 the store is close and there are no flowering on the trees. Nice view.
Cherries are great but I bought 10lb and after the trip i weight again only 8.7lb. I guess They have made mistake and weight with the box. Updated : I got respond from owners and it was just a mistake, and they apologize for that. P/S Their cherries are really really great and cheap too.
Great prices, easy to pick, no problem to eat and sample while you pick! Small entry fee for adults, FYI.
Good fruits to eat directly from the tree, but won't last more than a few hours. Do don't buy too much at a time.
Some of the best produce around. We always make a point to stop here on our way through.
Awesome spot to pick apricots and get ice cream. Great views from their farm while hanging out and eating an ice cream cone. They have a good selection of local foods as well.
Got some peachs and grapes. Amazing fruit!
I come here every year. Great prices, cool selection, friendly staff, a u-pick on site.
Awesome selection of fruits and veggies. Everything was so fresh. Staff were really helpful. Awesome ice cream and great views!
Some great deals. Unfortunately the corn that I purchased was old and tough.
Nice enough fruit stand. Quite the peach orchard where you can pick your own peaches.
Great place to get in season fruits and veggies.
we wanted to go cherry picking and the whole Okanagan was either sold out or not ready. Paynters seem to be the best priced for local cherries. $3.75lb if you buy more than 10 lbs so we did and then found out that Walmart has them for $1.99. Ok for us as were happy to support local and its once a year you can get your hands on these delicious cherrys. Expect very long cues due to C19. Ice cream around back, nice to see the little ones wandering around the orchard with Icecream faces :)
Awesome local products. Definitely worth a look.
A beautiful location with fruit and vegetables grown on site by a multi generation West Kelowna family. Friendly and fresh!
What can I say. It is a must go if you live in area. Products are varied and prices are fair. Staff are super helpful and friendly. The products themselves are healthy and very appealing. The cherries are delicious as are the veggies. Looking forward to the assortment changes as the season progresses. For sure a high quality operation.
Nice place to grab fresh Okanagan fruit with very friendly staff
This is an amazing fruit stand. The quality of the fruit and vegetables is top notch. You can even pick your own. There are also other locally made products sold here. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I definitely recommend this place!!
Great selection of produce..I love to support local markets..
The young gentleman who gave us the u-pick box was very friendly and helpful. Each box was like 28lbs
The carrots, potatoes, Apples, arugula and everything is so fresh and delicious! Their peaches are the best! Phenomenal service and consistent quality keeps me coming back!
Very helpful staff. A large variety of fruit and veggie.
I love this place so much the service was great shoutout to Kaiya and Darien on ice cream they were very helpful
Good fruit and veggies stand just off 97 with easy access if you're heading out of town.
Great seasonal selection. Yummy donut + treat truck in adjacent parking lot.
We had a BLAST picking peaches and pears! Eating the fruit as we picked was a definite highlight. Such a great experience. The staff at Paynter’s were all wonderful, especially Kathy on cash. Prices were excellent. Looking forward to returning!
The best peaches I've ever had!
Really cool experience. Super friendly staff.
Friendly staff, laid back environment. I enjoyed the peach picking here. The ice cream is really good here too
Another easy to access strip mall. I was there for buckerfields. They were helpful and loaded heavy items in my vehicle.
Great selection, fantastic service and did somebody say ICE-CREAM!
Good location. We were happy with the peaches but unfortunately we got home to find over 1/4 of the tub of cherries we bought were moldy or rotten. The cherries on top looked good but a large number of them had to be thrown away.
I love Paynter's so much. Great produce and fabulous staff. It's my go to for all my produce all summer long.
Best fruit stand I have visited in Canada and the UK!
Very cute and lots of fresh fruit and vegetables. Best part is that you can go and pick your own fruit and have fun doing it. Ice cream is expensive but so good. Make sure to sit in the back facing the fruit trees.
The best! We have to stop by here at least once every time we're in the area.
Best farmstand in the Kelowna area.
Great experience, peaches were amazing.
