My wife and I happened upon the Burnham Family Farm Market while on vacation in June 2018. What an incredible experience! The baked goods and fresh produce were a wonderful treat. We loaded our RV with as much as we could stash away in the kitchen, fridge and freezer. If you are fortunate enough to visit the Port Hope / Cobourg area, take the time to visit the Burnham Family Farm Market.

Great little farm with a large pumpkin patch and large variety in apples. The lady working the pick-your-own stand was very kind and pleasant to talk to. The market itself has lots of variety and the staff there are helpful and friendly.

Did pick your own raspberries. Prices were great. The woman working July 22 was absolutely lovely. She explained to my small children what to do and what to watch out for. She spoke to them in such a lovely and respectful way. They were captivated by her. Fantastic employee! Made the experience so enjoyable.

There’s not a LOT of produce here but that should make you happy because everything here is really fresh! Most authentic farmstore I have seen in ages- and still family run (yay!). We had incredible garlic, excellent zucchini (yes everyone has tat!), local honey (b/c the guys were closed across the road), berries, frozen meat, and just baked pie, bread and cookies! Thank you for hanging in. When you want to have it fresh from the field but don’t pick your own- get over here. Clean surroundings! Great presentation! Staff are folks you’d be proud to know.

Definitely a popular place as it was busy. Selection of vegetables, fruit and baked goods. When we were leaving, a senior's bag broke and her shopping dropped to the ground including her pie. I went back inside and explained what had happened and they kindly replaced it for the lady at no cost.

I love this super friendly family-owned-and-run market. It's a great mix of no-frills produce and fancy specialty stuff. Lots of local fruit and veggies, plus some local ethical meats and cheeses, and a wide variety of baked goods (from bread to pie to biscuits, cookies, brownies, etc) and fun pantry items and snacks, too! And don't forget the Kawartha Dairy ice cream. I have to drive past 3 other grocery stores to get there from my house, and *I do it*, because nothing beats farm fresh!

I love going to Burnham’s family market. Everyone is so friendly. It’s as much a social place as it is a farm market. Anne and Katie Burnham are always so nice. They can’t do enough to help you with whatever it is that you need. In season everything is either grown by them or relatively local. They have an excellent bakery and their pies are the best. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I ordered on line for the first time from Burnham's after hearing many positive comments from my neighbours. I was very disappointed when I got home and discovered that the hummus I purchased had a BB date of 5 and 7 days respectively. I called to express my concern. Katie called me back to apologize and had already reimbursed me. Katie said she had never thought to include the BB dates on certain sale items and would do so in the future. Overall a good experience and I will definitely be back.

If you go to Cobourg stop and shop here. Great pastry. In fall they have a great variety of apples. I always buy my apples here. You can sometimes get old variety apples that you don't see everywhere like Tolman Sweets.
