They rip off customers! I got into an argument with a cashier about an item on sale. It didn't scan up the sale price, when the sticker showed it was on sale. It rang up as the old price, which was on the sticker. When I asked about it, she ripped the sticker off and said it was for a different item. I asked why it rang up as the exact same old price, she replied "the other item is the same price as well." I asked for the manager, even the manager told me it wasn't the same item when the sticker showed the old price, the barcodes matched, and the item description matched! I explained to them that they are required to sell me the item for the marked price, and they said no. Seriously??

A few years back this Walmart used to be very good, now it seems like it has significantly degraded. Lots of items don't seem to be in stock anymore, and it generally feels like most workers there show no care to their job. However the biggest reason why I'm giving this one star—zero if I could—was because of the downright rude and stupid lady from a while ago who forced me to empty my pockets because the whatchamacallit at the entrance beeped when I was ENTERING the building. I told her that I had nothing worth emptying but she still obstinately insisted. It makes more sense if I was exiting, but the fact that she told me to do that when ENTERING is just absolutely ridiculous and beyond mind-boggling stupid... Only someone lacking common sense would not realize that it's only considered stealing when someone EXITS and the thing beeps. That's the entire POINT of those things, stupid. Clearly she was new here as literally no worker standing at the entrance had done that, even if it was beeping. She is a fine example of the typical pedantic kill-joy worker that places trivial rules above common sense. Oh and get this, after we reported her to the manager, she persistently tried to defend herself by saying that she did nothing wrong, but the manager was nice and apologized to us (and gave her a nice talk). And since when did business ethics start faulting the customer? People like her clearly aren't fit for the business world.

Went to pickup my curbside order of groceries and the kid packing them in my trunk HIT MY CAR with his large cart and chipped the paint off my car. A random person came out instead of a Manger and took my info on a scrap piece of paper. It's been almost a month and no one has contacted me, and Home Office has notified me that they have ALSO told the manager, yet they refuse to call me to rectify the issue.

Worst Walmart when it comes to stock availability - stuff always out of stock when the same item is available at all other Walmart stores. The staff is also not very helpful - always hard to find staff and when you do find someone they're unable to help. Don't like this location at all.

Probably one of the WORST locations I have ever been to. You know when clothes go on clearance stores usually have mixed sections where you have to dig through to have maybe one lucky find? That's their ENTIRE women's clothing section. They had kids clothes mixed in with women's and work out clothes with dressy. Their fitting room attendant was standing around talking with I'm assuming a friend. She just waved me through and said find one with a green lock. Knock and head in. I found a free dressing room but inside there were empty hangers everywhere. I felt like I needed to get out of there as fast as possible. I feel very lucky that I don't live in this town and that my location seems to take their job much more seriously.

I shop at Walmart more than I’d like to admit; but they more often than not have the best selection , if not the cheapest prices on everything from 4kTVs, and kitty litter to bell peppers, Onion Rings and very reasonably priced bottles of Lysol. And everything else in between. I’m also a a fan of their (many) self checkout kiosks; specifically as they are often accompanied by upwards of 6 or more checkout assistants. Likewise, I appreciate their Covid cleaning habits, which inevitably make customers more attentive of the protocols as well. Finally, they have an excellent returns policy, and very good hours of operation - both of which are critical now in CoVid lockdown.

It is a big well-maintained superstore and they have been keeping it clean, especially during Covid-19 pandemic. It has a great collection of fresh vegetables and fruits. This is one of the best walmart locations i have been so far. This store is BIG, its CLEAN and Spaced out. Perfect for shopping in such Covid-19 situations. I did notice that the groceries and even clothes section have bigger varieties than other locations, say for example the Square one. It could be due to the fact that the SQ1 is in a mall location whereas this has its own , plus parking. Definitely will visit this location going forward, for all my shopping needs !

False advertising and rude customer service manager. Went to buy a Dyson vacuum. As shown in pics they put up wrong price tag on the wrong product which was a $100 difference. I asked them to honor it and showed them the aisle and the mistake but the customer service manager refused to accept their mistake and instead was showing attitude and power he think he has being a manager. He was chewing gum and said it's not their mistake at all. Not only did he refuse to honor the price shown, he also was very rude to us. Please see pic and tell me that it's not wrong. Returned the item after all

My wife bought something for me and lost receipt. Want credit for that item I didn’t want money back they said No. Call CEO to complain they said everything depend on upper management of store, so basically they can say and do whatever they want. Same item was on shelf and is not possible to open it and close it again, it is in plastic. They know, but they don’t care. My family will not step in store never again to spend over 500$ per month. After that I left in one on Fairview they give me credit and take item without any problem.

Waited 35 minutes at electronics to purchase a TV and on a second occasion another 20-30 minutes again for an external hard drive. Askes MULTIPLE people to call for help and nobody showed up. Secondly, bought an air conditioner inside was missing pieces. When brought to return they didn't accept it due to missing pieces. Really? Terrible customers service, walmart needs to work on this.

I am in line 14 at this Walmart and already waiting almost 10 minutes do nothing just watching a store supervisor who brought in another customer (cut in my line) because she is helping the customer applying Walmart credit card !!! I would leave no stars if i could. I went in here to buy one item quickly, something I told to the cashier as I had a prior engagement, and had to repeat because they kept saying "5 minutes just 5 minutes" until I was there for almost half an hour. They pressured me into signing up for a visa of some sort because I was buying a prepaid visa and I got confused because I thought giving my id was part of buying this visa (something I asked and they said it was part of the process). The cashier told me multiple times if i give them my id i would receive 40$ off this purchase. Once they finished with my id, they only offered me 15$ off...but not even on my purchase. They said i would receive my discount the next time i come back. I asked why they lied to me and said I'd receive the discount now and they told me i was at fault for all of this. I was running late for my prior engagement and started having a panic attack. i couldn't breathe and i was shaking. the cashier and the manager, Minza, said it was my fault this was happening and did not try to help reconcile the situation, repeating "it's not a big deal" while refusing to reconcile this mysterious transaction and making me wait while they chatted for 25+ minutes. Next thing I knew, I was being charged extra and owing debt to a service that wasn't fully or properly explained to me. I am beyond frustrated and concerned with the way they treat their customers here. I understand it's busy, but why try and swindle your customers, especially when I made it clear I was running late? I ended up not making my following engagement and crying in my car. Minza also kept trying to come really close to me when I'd expressed multiple times I was trying to social distance and I was uncomfortable with her proximity. She repeated that "it's ok i'm vaccinated." I did not ask her for this information, I was uncomfortable and wished my physical distance to be respected is all. I was also in the midst of the aforementioned panic attack and just needed someone to calmly explain the situation I was coerced into and then told was all my fault. They said that this is something "I should have known because I live in this country now." Which felt highly offensive being a BIPOC person who was born here. Although, am I missing something about buying prepaid visas? Granted, it was my first time purchasing one. I am deeply uncomfortable and saddened that this is how the workers treat customers, but bear in mind this is my first and probably only time being here, so maybe I came in on an off day. Great food selection, and I've never had issues with the beauty products I've purchased here either. The aisles are quite narrow and people really really dont like following the directional arrows, but that's not the stores fault. There's some days when they're out of specific items like marshmallows or oats, but nothing too crazy. What I WILL blame directly on the store is the absolutely innapropriate shilling of the Wal Mart Mastercard on me every time I use the self checkout. It's one employee in particular that asks me every single time I'm there, but she's obviously just doing what she's been told to do. We're in the middle of a pandemic and staff are being told to get in people's personal space asking if I want a Mastercard? Are you serious? I shop early in the morning and use self checkout to LIMIT my person to person physical interactions. Please do better. The poor employee doing this deserves better and so do your customers.

It was a good experience. I went very early so the store was not crowded. The Ailes were clearly marked for single directional use with arrows and the checkouts were marked for maximum social distancing. The cashier was polite, friendly and patient with my order. She also helped bag them which was a plus. I took out one star because I did not find everything I needed and the store did not provide a hand washing station or sanitizers at the entrance or exit.

This is a decent Walmart. The only thing reason I've been hesitant about shopping here recently is because of the number of staff members who have tested positive for covid-19. Their numbers easily fit the criteria for an "outbreak", yet they cannot and will not close because they are considered essential. That being said, this is probably the only negative thing I have to say about this Wal-Mart. The store itself is kept very clean & organized, it features a McDonald's between both entrances which is also kept clean and minimal. There's a lottery booth at the front of the store as well that sells all your lottery needs. There is also a do-it-yourself key cutting/copying machine located next to the east entrance, just west of the McDonald's. Just a heads up, the McDonald's itself does NOT have its own outside entrance, nor does it have its own washrooms. In order to access the McDee's you must enter the main store. Although they've have a pretty severe number of employees testing positive for Covid-19, you would never guess this is the case by simple shopping here. To all outside appearances, it seems that all the employees follow all Co-vid 19 precautions, take them seriously, and do their best to keep the customers, and themselves, safe. The washrooms are tidy, don't smell, and I'm going to assume are taken care of on a regular basis*. (Both the front of store washroom and the back of store washroom locations. There is ONE family washrooms, which is located at the back of the store, towards the middle, right in behind the baby apparel and other infant stuff. * I can only speak to the women's washrooms and the family washroom, as I have never been in either of the men's washrooms.

Nothing wrong with this Walmart. It is clean and I have found that the staff really do try to help you out. Generally I just mind my own bizz and get my shopping done. I sometimes browse as well. But sometimes, I do need a bit of help finding something. I was looking for a dish set with my wife and saw a display of a set, but were priced individually. Checking online, it was available only online. With the help of Angela, I hope I have her name right, I feel she went above the threshold of helping. After I agreed with her that yes it is only online, I felt a little down. I continued on my browse and heard on the intercom "would the customer who was interested in "The Brand" of dishes please return. I did and she said she was walking by a skid in the back and she saw the full set in a box as a set and the rest is in the books. Thanks so much for hiring this woman. I will keep on shopping here. I even occasionally look for her just to thank her again. So there's a good experience and that is just one associate, I have yet to find one that did not want to help. Keep it up!

Last night a manager named Nick provided the worst customer service I have ever seen. He was belligerent incoherent immature and unhelpful. He had to be paged numerous times before even showing up. Coming from someone who is the shopper for the family every week since this started and works in retail: They do limit the amount of people inside the store, but that seems to be the only sh*t they give after that. No masks except for 1 employee, and maybe one other customer. No one-way isles to help reduce close contact. Just a couple floor signs and that’s it. No one seemed to have any sense of space, and would come in surprisingly close contact with me. (Even pre-pandemic close) Lines had no spacing. Checkout was also careless with no barrier and no cleaning. Such carelessness is part of the problem, especially since this place was busy. I was at the Hays Boulevard Store in Oakville this afternoon at 4 pm. I fell in the paint isle. Someone had spilled white or off while paint on the floor. I stepped into it without noticing and went flying. My shoes are destroyed, so are my socks. I got up and was so shaken up. One associate was walking by. I told her that I fell. She could also see the mess on the floor and see the damage to my shoes. She didn’t care. All she said was: ”I don’t work in this section. She said "Go to the front”. She took off and I went to the Customer Service desk. I told the lady that’s always around and seems to be in charge what happened. She went to the Customer Service desk and fiddled around, told the cashier that I feel and want to get reimbursed for the damage to my shoes and socks. NOBODY cared to ask me how I was or if I was hurt. Everyone just stuck their head into the sand. That lady walked away. She said she’d be back and she said she told the Manager. I waited there for 45 minutes. I had asked twice to see the Manager who was “supposed” to come, but in all this time not one person cared about me. NO manager bothered to show up. Nobody cared enough to take my contact info. What a horrible experience. I will never go back to that store. Everyone acted as if they personally had to pay for something. They are totally ignorant human beings. What would have happened to me if I had broken something? Would have left me hanging there? This is a horrible store with horrible uncaring staff. I finally took off and told them I will write a review and I will call head office. This is disgusting. I went back to the paint department to take a photo of the mess. I never thought of doing that at the time of the incident. However, when I got there they had already cleaned up the floor. I am sorry that I didn’t think of taking a photo before leaving the scene. I held on some shelves as I was falling and took some stuff with me. But everything was cleaned up - silently :-). What a great job. However, you can see my skid marks on the floor. When I returned to Customer Service they had all new people there. All the ones that knew about my situation had disappeared. What a joke, but I also realize that the employees are really powerless when a big company like Walmart doesn't care about their customers. I am a spa owner. I treat people the way I want to be treated, and I have policies in place. I guess Walmart feels they don't need anything like that! I am 60 plus and I have osteoporosis. Thank God I am fit, but what someone who is not? I also called their head office. The guy said I should send in my review with the photos, but my email never went through. It just kept coming back. It's just incredible. NO, I do not recommend this place to anyone.

They have great prices for a lot of their items, and you can find a lot of different things here. They have a good selection of alternative products like almond milk, veggies nuggets, vegan cheese, and gluten free. But some of their items don't come up with the right price when ringing through the register. Other then that it's a great experience to see what they have.

This is like any other Walmart but the manager is such a rude person. I didn’t get her name but she is a senior lady with glasses. I asked her about a toy that was there last night and it wasn’t there this morning and wanted to know if they were restocking as she was doing the restocking with another employee in the toys section itself. She gave me an earful saying “take this as a lesson learnt. If you see something, buy it, if you come later and it’s gone, it’s gone. This is Walmart,,,,, blah blah blah“! Lady, all I wanted to know is that if you were going to restock the stretchy space jam toy?? My boss doesn’t talk to me like u did. Employees don't know what they're doing during COVID. I ordered an order for curbside pickup with a guaranteed delivery for May 15. Went to pick it up on the date it was expected and was told to come back. I came back a few hours later and was told the order was "cancelled". Manager came out and told me the order isn't in stock so they cancelled my order and I would get a refund. I was really confused and frustrated but went home. Its been over 2 weeks and I havent gotten a refund for this order. Called customer service and was told that its not been cancelled and I can't cancel it until it is delivered. Oh and the order has been sitting in their warehouse waiting to be picked up by the courier for 11 days. So basically I cant get a refund until they deliver the item to the store and the manager of the Walmart curbside pick up department has no idea how order cancellations work. Such a mess!!! ALSO- we went to get Brita filters in store the other day because on the website it is marked as a GROCERY ITEM, which means we can purchase them and I would like to be able to drink filtered water LOL. Asked an employee where we can get them and he told us we can't buy them because they're in the non essential aisle. We showed him the walmart website where it says its essential and he said it doesnt matter we cant buy it and no one will sell it to us and self-check out wont scan it. He seriously suggested it that if we want it, we have to come back the next day at 7AM, buy 5 things and wait an hour in the car for him to bring it out to us. Can you believe that? We were so annoyed we ducked under the ropes, picked up the Brita and paid for it on self check out (it scanned fine) and left.

This location repacks returned items and puts it back on the shelf to sell as “new” item (this is the 3rd time experiencing this from this location in the past year). If you go back to complain about being sold a returned item as a “brand new item” the duty manager on site will get aggressive and belligerent. The managers at the store will insist on this being against their policy and will not admit that returned items are being sold as “new” which is actually something that happens fairly often at this location. They are so quick to deny that this issue is happening instead of actually investigating it. Makes one wonder if there are some shady operations going on within. Buyer beware.

This is a very large Walmart with a giant parking lot (I actually couldn't remember where I parked my car because it was so big). The aisles are nice, wide, organized, clean and there was a good selection of food. I'm not sure if they wipe down the shopping carts but there is hand sanitizer that you can pump into your hand using a foot pedal. They have a person wipe down the self-service checkout kiosk after every use. I saw one employee helping a senior citizen with the self checkout and that was fantastic. However, I found I still had to wait at least 2 minutes for someone to help me cancel an item on my kiosk and I had to flagged them down in order for them to come and help me so the self checkout is not for people who want to avoid interaction. They didn't ask me if I want to get a Walmart credit card so that's a positive. Some of the employees who stock shelves or do grocery pick up leave their stocking carts in the middle of the path so there were a few time where I had to ask them to push them aside so that I could pass.

Been really hard to find things in stock. Even if the website says it's available. Floor staff just says they don't know and tell you to check other areas instead of assisting you. The website has plenty of things but the shipping price is crazy and with how disorganized the store is I don't feel comfortable with shipping to the store. The cashier's and people at the self checkout definitely make the rating higher! They are friendly, fast and always cleaning to help ensure customer safety. I just wish things like the 3 meter rule and other things that were in effect when I worked there years ago were still part of the job!

I used to shop her a lot but recent changes to the store have ruined my experience. Recent removal of express checkout in order to have less staff in checkout spaces with one attendant for all self-checkouts makes it a good place for free groceries.
