The produce is not that fresh, overpriced, and the spraying the veggies with water makes things worse add the water speeds up then getting soft, and leafy veggies when put in bags bring so wet causes it to soil even faster. Never see any discounted produce either.

Sobeys on Topsail Road is a great Sobeys and was our go too location for years while in the city. It was always well maintained and clean and stocked as well as stores can be on that island with staff who were kind and inviting. I would easily recommend this location.

Great store however I forget how slow the cashiers are, it is painful to watch some of them. I saw 6 people get served while only 1 person got through the cash (with the same amount of food), it was frustrating since I was in a hurry. I wanted to do it myself. I actually avoid it when I can because of the cashiers.

I am upset with my Sobeys because when the Pandemic started it changed all the aisles. With the arrows, you are constantly having to go up and down aisles to find stuff. Also, the prices have gone up big time. I can buy stuff exactly the same 2 dollars cheaper at Dollarama. GOUGING!!!!
