Sobey is fanatic place to shop fresh and best grocery, pantry, and all the stuff that everyone needs in daily basis are there. International flavour and vegetables are available. You can order fresh cooked food over there. Large collection of grooming stuff is there. Service is very good. They open new counter for checkout while needed.

First time I've ever heard of a rain-check was from Sheldon in the meat department and it went swimmingly! Pogo's were on sale but out of stock. He was helpful enough to suggest a rain-check and proceeded to explain what it meant and how to go about getting one. The lady in customer service gave me one and said I'm able to use it at any Sobey's location for as many boxes of Pogo's I would want. A big thank-you to Sheldon and the woman in customer service - you're both awesome! [:=

I was racially profiled by the security over there. I have never experienced anything like that in my life and did not even know how to react. These guys went through my food stuff without permission and not even wearing gloves in this pandemic. And after not finding anything, they just walked away without an apology. They don't even deserve this one star. Missed my bus cause of that and had to wait for the next one under the mild storm. They just ruined my day.

Sobeys Kenmount has a pretty good selection of produce and usually quite fresh. I visit this location often, probably once every second day. I enjoy most of their selection of food but they could improve by adding more choices. The quality of their food is usually excellent in fact I will only buy red peppers at this location because they're consistently fresh. I depend on this location because I know what I'll get when I go there. Not often have I found anything out of date or broken or not fresh. One thing I didn't like though, was that I'd seen vegetables labeled "Canadian produce" but when I read the tags it read "produce of USA" so I'm a little bothered by that. The workers are friendly and helpful most of the time. I should also add that I appreciate how organized this store is, including the carts which are often neatly put away, easy to pull apart from eachother and never in the way of traffic, parking, hallways or doors. Store is kept clean. Wheelchair accessible.

DELETED my five star review. Sobeys has gone to the gutter. Its turned into a discount store, stocking/replacing all its shelves with "Compliment" brands and selling them at premium prices. I don't know about anyone else, but I personally don't want (to pay for) salmonella, hepatitis, listeria, or otherwise moldy food for which these swept-up-off-the-floor brands are known for and whose best before dates have been altered in order to prevent "product waste". This is the same reason I stopped shopping at Walmart. Now I am forced to find yet, another grocery store substitute.

I love shopping at Sobey's. The staff are very knowlegable about the products the store stocks and where the items are. The staff are also very polite and never make you feel like asking for help with something is an imposition. I appreciate the fact that they are a grocery store with many choices of products and have remained, strictly, a grocery store, unlike loblaws, which tries to sell clothes, food, etc.

Green vegetables are never good here. No matter when you go it's always slimy rotting garbage. Ive given up on this store. Go elsewhere for green veggies, or the rest of your groceries for that matter. Slow service too. I'd rather go to any other grocery store than here.
