Went there looking for garlic fingers, looked for 10 mins and couldn’t find any so I asked an employee, and he said that he couldn’t find them either cause I guess they must of moved stuff around. No problem stuff like that happens. He said he’d try and find someone to help me. I told him I’d just wait there for someone. Waited 20 mins with no help, so about 30 mins in total trying to get one item, which I couldn’t get in the end cause I still couldn’t find them and got no one to come help me. Usually don’t have problems with this Sobeys but was really frustrated tonight.

I've long loved this Sobeys location. It use to be open 24 hours a day so I would stop in after I got off from work at midnight and do grocery shopping on my way home. Though they no longer remain open so late it's still a quality Sobeys location.

A new breed of grocery stores that showcases more made-in-house and local favorites. Better traffic management than other sobeys stores and probably the best meat department / butchery staff for the chain stores. My girlfriend and I tend to hit here first when looking for special steaks or cuts.

This large Sobeys store has everything you need to get a great meal cooking and on your table. If you want to save time they have a large deli where you can get side dishes or a full on meal. This location also has a liquor store attached next door and shares a parking lot.

A Sobeys like any other—large, clean, orderly, pricey for fresh fruits and vegetables. No British sweets at this one, though there were two shelves of Newfy specialities. No recycling bins on-premise (I asked customer service), which is disturbing and distressing.

I have shopped mainly here ever since moving back to NL 8 years ago. They have got it all and plenty of space up at the front end for physical distancing. Staff are always cleaning, even before the pandemic, and now they are full tilt! Always my choice, and I live out of town now. I pass 5 grocery stores to get to howley estates :)

Love this place! It has been updated to serve customers. I love the produce section with its choices and fresh options. The fish section could use a bit of a refresher in fish choices though. Other than that I love shopping here.

Convenient, yet lacks any level of employee/customer interaction to help customers find the product they came for and it's clear there is no direction from management to be customer focused. Employees stock shelves and then become invisible. There is no employee empowerment observable to ensure customer engagement. This industry is profit motivated by large HQ's answering to shareholders, not consumers. Shop at Coleman's. Someone will always try and help. **Disclaimer** I don't work for Sobey's, Loblaw, Coleman's or any of their affiliates. I do have an MBA in Marketing. A great Sobeys just outside the downtown core. The store has a great variety of produce, meat, seafood, and everything else! The store was kept extremely clean and organized, everything was easy to find. All the staff members were extremely nice and helpful. This Sobeys is down the road from where I'm staying and I am sure I will be visiting frequently!

I shop here for my job and personally. It is definitely the best store in the chain on the island. It has the best selection of international items, fresh produce, meat and seafood. The staff are also great for the most part. I will drive across town to shop there rather than waste my time at another store.

There was no heads of lettuce, everything was very expensive and three of the isles i could not even get down because of floors being flooded with food items and shelves being restocked and workers could not assist me in finding products because they didn't hear me speaking to them because of the headphones they were wearing and the music blasting in their heads. 24 hour sobeys ,closed at 8 pm because of virus precautions. Thanks, I work from 8 am to 8 pm so when I get off work you are closed . Glad shoppers was still open until 10 pm so I could buy some groceries. Nice way to say thanks to all health care employees who work from 8 am to 8 pm .

Love this place when it was opened 24 hours. Now it closes at 10pm. I work shift work so it was perfect when it was opened 24 hours if i needed something could drop by and get what i needed. No respect to the shift worker i see by closing early.
