My impression from my 1st visit to this store recently was that they have a good selection of fruits, vegetables, meats and other various foods to choose from. They were very helpful when I needed assistance and the service was prompt and courteous. The washrooms were nice and clean also.

We have been getting the majority of our vegetables and meat from this location for the past 4 years. Their prices are good especially when they have sales. They always have enough people working the tellers and we never ever had to wait in line to cash out. They support the local economy by hiring workers and have no self checkouts!! We will continue to support our local Lococo's and highly recommend them to everyone!

Staff at entry are almost ignorant how they speak to you regarding the covid questions, no 'Thank You' just 'You can enter' I was told by some women! Than theres no one directing customers at check out so people are entering line up area from both sides. Then they only have checkout 1 , 2, & 3 open instead of say spreading people out and opening up every other check out. But forcing everyone to group up in one area seems like a massive step backwards imo

I really love this store, it's perfect for what they specialize in. Sure they don't stock every item in the world but if you need fruits and veggies at a reasonable price then this your best bet. I come here regularly to purchase my fresh produce and Italian bread... Usually there is no line up, lots of parking and staff who are always nice and give you a smile.

Excellent chain of grocery stores. This location is conveniently close to me now but I use to drive from mississauga to grocery shop at Lococo's because they have great fresh meat and produce. Their prices are also fantastic. I also check online for their two day specials (Mon/Tues & Wed/Thurs) which are often great deals.

After so many years of going to lococos we are very disapointed as there was meat green on the fridges. Was like the left over no sure what happen.. Was on sale however usually is pretty good.. it looks like that No frills the butcher is hurting as they are having meat black green on the refridge... I had gone into Lococos here and I had already been walking around grabbing up food, and when I was ready to check out they told me they wouldn't serve me due to no mask. I am medically exempt and I can't breathe already without wearing one!! They handled the situation horribly, and yeah neither did I, BUT THEY DISCRIMINATED ME. I caught it on camera and I will be reporting this establishment!!!

I have shopped here for years and love the experience. It is a really big store but it does offer scooters for the elderly and disabled. The produce, meat and frozen food sections are excellent with well stocked counters, freezers and coolers. They also offer washrooms for those that need one. I will never shop at this store again from what I just experienced. Lococos has a new policy for covid that only one person can load the groceries at once. Okay I understand that. Especially if a stranger is putting their groceries at the end of the conveyer belt. I was there just now with my disabled husband who is recovering from cancer. He was in a mobility scooter and loading the groceries. I was at the debit going to pay as sometimes it is hard for him to reach to pay. He was struggling to grab the items at the end of his cart so obviously I grabbed the items and put it on the belt. The worker said to me one person is allowed to load.i said we are in the same family and I’m helping him. She wouldn’t allow it. So are you telling me I can’t help my disabled husband load the groceries on the belt if he was struggling. If we are both allowed to enter the store, both allowed to shop and both allowed to line up, why am I not able to help my husband. I felt it was very discriminatory to his disability as since my husband was the one who started loading, he needed to finish loading on his own while he was having difficulties.

I love Lococo's been going to them for years. However their meat cuts although great quality are a little thick for my liking, ie steak, chops. Otherwise they have the freshest, best selection of veg and fruit citywide in my opinion. Never been disappointed yet .

Horrible customer service. Very discriminating staff and supervisors. I Will make sure to share my experience everywhere to make sure that noone else has to go there and go through what I did. 3 days later and still waiting for a call back from the owner. Unbelievable... this business shows less and less integrity and 0 respect towards their long time customers. If I could put negative in stars I definitely would. Ps. If you have a visual disability or a non visual one..it doesn't matter because they discriminate either way! Still waiting....................

The best location for Lococos in hamilton, hands down. This one is preferable to the Barton street location near Eastgate Square . Typically fresh produce and meats. Be aware though, there is not as much selection as a typical grocery store at any lococos locations. They mostly carry spices, meat and vegetables, typically not lots of packaged foods etc. The selection for meat and vegetables is vast and prices generally reasonable

This store is amazing. I shop there all the time because of the great quality of their meat and fresh fruits&vegetables. One of the few stores that still bag your items for you without charging you for bags. I see the same employees there all the time which is a sign of them treating their staff right. They are super friendly and you can tell they are happy there. Today I was standing in line in over 40 degrees heat and after 10 minutes an employee offered FREE cold water to everyone standing in line. I was so appreciative and amazed. I have never experienced anything like this.

Lococos is the place to go for meat, fruit and vegetables. There are daily/weekly specials which are emailed to me so I never miss a great deal. The only issue I have is with the cashiers. If I forget to bring my own bags, the cashier will bag my groceries, but if I bring my own shopping bags, I'm left to bag on my own. I find that kinda strange. I was there today and the cashier just turned his back while I bagged. There were no other customers behind me so it's not like he was busy. 3 stars for this reason.

I feel that there's zero quality control at this place. I used to get my chicken there but now I get it from walmart, I used to get my steak there but now I get it from fortinos, the only thing I get from there now is my produce and pork and I feel the produce is going downhill as well every time I go I have to dig to find something that's not rotted.I honestly don't know why I keep coming back.

A wonderful store for fresh produce and meats. . always a great special on their weekly flyer. Very friendly staff and a clean, bright building. I would highly recommend Lococos Nebo Road location. . give it a try, you won't be disappointed!

The steaks are so thick the produce is fresh great corn when in season bring a sweater the cold room is freezing.Very clean store great selection. Lots of free parking.

Normally I love this place but when employees have been told not to enforce people wearing masks properly it puts everybody at risk. Management should worry more about losing the business of people trying to stay safe then "offending" 1 customer by asking them to put their mask back up over their mouth and nose.

Went here to check out what was available. The store is some what organized but not very clean inside, a very low standard store. The bulk of the store is vegetables and the meat sections. Very little of other items.

It's worth the road trip for the fresh meat and produce which they do better than any others that I've been to. They're not much for packaged factory food so they are not for everyone. For me they rank 5 star.

Used to come here for steaks, produce particularly. Now their steaks seem to be ripped apart not cut... Almost like the just used grandma's bread knife. They are ugly. The steaks are browning and still on the shelves. The produce the last few times I've been has not been the greatest either. Going down hill unfortunately.

I find the deals at Lococos great and I find that the staff are very friendly. The only problem I have is that the express lane is often not available during the weekends, which makes buying 1-2 things during the weekends a bit frustrating as the lines are always extra busy during those days. Otherwise its a 5 star experience from this customer.

Love this place. Reminds me of a smaller version of Knob Hill Farms from when I was a kid. Amazing selection of produce and great prices. Meat selection is not as extensive as a typical store but has volume and great prices. Wish they carried a bit more groceries.

My friends were raving about Lococo's saying we needed to shop there, but we resisted as it was a bit out of the way for us. The summer of 2019 I started working around the corner from it and I tried it out - I regret not listening to my friends sooner because it is everything they said! The quality and quantity of food you purchase is far superior to the other grocery stores, and it's at a great price! When Covid started, I was purchasing groceries for my mother to make things easier for her, and she's been so impressed, she's started shopping there now. Same with my sister, she makes a point to shop there when she visits from Toronto. There's no comparison, Lococo's wins in the grocery store race.

Two stars because your store has decent quality. Been shopping here for years. I'm not happy to see your store having a mask policy that's discriminates against people who have medical exceptions. I'm assuming you try to give the best customer experience possible and putting a policy like that in place that discriminates against those people makes you guys look terrible. Good luck.
