Update. Although this establishment is clean and the staff are super friendly and helpful, today was my last day shopping here. The produce is ALWAYS going bad and they're selling it at full price. For example, $0.99 per lb for rotting tomatoes. Meat section, sausages reduced by $3, the meat is gray!!!! Throw it out Freshco. The last few times I've shopped here I've had a similar experience but today I left without buying anything because of how disgusted I was. Imagine being called Freshco when it really should be Freshno....do better. Clean establishment and the staff are super friendly and helpful.

My experience here has always been ok. Cashiers have always been friendly. The people who shelve the items seems to usually go above and beyond when I'm looking for an item. They usually walk me directly to the item I am looking for. However I find that the younger generation of people who shelve to be less friendly and I've gotten "I don't know" a few times. They may not know but I feel should have a better response to that. Overall it's a well maintained store

I am thoroughly impressed with how this store as operated through covid. I called the store to tell them about how nicely I was treated by one of there cashiers. I have health issues and injured my back this week and have difficulty standing there had to be over 30 people in line I spoke to cashier to see if there was something to do. I thought that it might be possible to sit until my turn. She immediately said I will serve you right after this customer. She even said I'm sorry your in pain.

I visited today here. Flyer product was out of stock. Discussed with customer service and manager about rain check and they refused for that. Funny answer was "We issue rain check for physical flyer, not online flyer". Store has big sign that if we out of stock flyer products, we will issue rain check with 10% discount. We upset with the visit to this store.

I enjoy shopping at at Freshco for the specials they offer as well for the clean and comfortable shopping environment. The staff is usually very helpful in assisting with locating featured flyer items when they're not kept in their most obvious/ apparent isle number. The one thing I would hope that FreshCo improves upon is its process for issuing a customer a raincheck, which currently, is more of an ordeal than a comfortable experience. With the current process, when I ask for a raincheck on a sold out flyer special item the cashier has to ask permission from who I think is a cashier supervisor. The supervisor then makes a call to someone in the respective department to make sure that they're sold out of that item. If the item is in fact sold out the supervisor then runs up the stairs to where I think the owner and management offices are and asks someone to prep a raincheck and then runs down the stairs to hand it to me. This is a very archaic and time consuming process and I'm sure it can be improved.

Prices are usually very good in general here without sacrificing quality much at all. They stock a good selection of foods and household items. The produce is almost always fresh and the store is very clean. Cashiers are usually very friendly but also efficient and don't hold the line up for long. Overall a pleasant experience but nothing exceptional or worthy of a *Perfect* score.

Shopped at this Queenston & Nash in Hamilton, Ontario, for over 9 years, not anymore. Last year, they stopped stocking a lot of products I used to purchase and brought in a bunch of products that I don't think ever sell. (like Chrysanthemum tea in juice packs?) I wrote corporate asking why and expressing that they were going to lose my business, they never answered. Obviously they don't care about their customers. I have to shop at Walmart now because they carry the products that Freshco doesn't want to apparently.

I have recently moved in nearby. I quite like this store. Prices for most things I get regularly are good, the store always appears clean, the staff has always been friendly, and even in covid most items are in stock. I would prefer to not have to clean my cart myself, but not a huge deal

Great store but I liked it better when it was a sobeys, they had a bakery :( update, bathroom was the worst I have ever seen. It smelled like stale pee, had toilet paper all over the place. I had to wipe poop from the toilet seat.

The guys that accommodate the fresh produce (by the entrance, where plantains are) they are the most vibrant and energetic guys I have ever met in a grocery store. So far this is my favourite grocery store in the area. One of the cashiers here was nice enough to explain to me what price matching is and how using Flipp (an app on my phone) I could do so even faster. This place is consistently the cheapest place for groceries. It's not super fancy, say compared to a Metro that has a ton of pre made stuff. But it gets the job done and on budget every time. The place is clean, never had a problem with any of the staff, they sell beer so little more convenient to shop then before.

Love this Freshco it is huge and has a great selection of produce, meat and vegetarian options. It also has a massive ethnic section with foods from all over the world. There is plenty of parking and it’s easy to get in and out for a quick shop. I often shop here on my lunch hour. There are plenty of cashiers and you can get in and out quickly. They also sell beer here too!

Organized, clean, well-stocked, brightly lit, with shelf labels and signs that are easy to read and follow. Prices are reasonable and selection is pretty good, even during Covid (which has affected every business). Of course, I would have preferred the staff pack my bags and not having to wait in line for a cashier to signal me she was ready, but those are common practice during covid, too. Got what I needed within budget and with very little fuss or extra time spent - not bad at all.

One of the worst services and experiences I have ever encountered. The team leads and employees are very rude and can taunt and ridicule. They gang up on you as well and don't care about their customers. I would say that they are racially motivated on who they choose to treat well or not. Been in many grocery stores over many years raising a large family I have never encountered this type of treatment.

Medium sized store. I wasn't able to find anyone to help me find an sale item. It turned out they were sold out. I saw a lot of empty shelves, although the sales end tomorrow. Best day to get sale items is on the Thursday they start or on the Friday before the weekend shoppers arrive.

Produce is nearly inedible, covered in fruit flies, and regularly expired. Peppers are always rotten same with many other fruits and vegetables. Purchased mushrooms on September 27th when we went shopping; got home and checked the expiry date and it expired on the 23rd. We purchased produce that had been expired for four whole days. Usually don’t write reviews about grocery stores but I’ve never seen anything like it, especially during a pandemic

I'd give this place half a star if I could. My girlfriend shopped for 25 minutes, waited in line for another 20. While she was inside and I was waiting in the car with our 6 year old, we asked to use the bathroom but we did not have masks so we were denied entry. We had to drive to Tim Hortons (who let us in because they have sufficient management not kids running the store). At the register, my girlfriend had the wrong card and went outside to get another card from the car. They informed her they would save the groceries. Upon re-entry to pay for the groceries, they locked the door as it was 10:03. We call and they told us they had put the groceries away as we look inside and see them on the counter still. We then see another couple finish their shopping and leave. When I approached the closing staff I was told they put the food away and stores closed. He closed the door in my face laughing and left saying there is nothing he can do yet 4 other customers finished their shopping. Great customer service.

My husband bought a bag of apples (gala) last week and put them 8n the fridge. Today 6days later we took them out to place some in the fruit bowl, almost every apple was rotten to the extent my finger actually went through an apple....Beware and check bagged produce. Absolutely disgusting.
