Has really gone downhill. Staff are treated poorly so they're all leaving and they can't keep knew hires. Food is constantly rotting with nobody to remove it. And now it doesn't price match, and you can't walk into the store with a bag... but you're required to use reusable bags. It's rough. Been coming here 5 years and it's time to give it up.

This location has implemented a new backpack policy, to which I asked if I could have the email of the store. I was then introduced to Kelly a woman who was so rude and so demeaning. My partner and I used to shop here everyday as it was convincent but with out being able to bring in the bag we use for our groceries and rudeness on behalf of Kelly we will definitely be choosing somewhere else for our groceries.

Who knew that every cashier there could be so rude at any time of day. Stock boys are nowhere to be seen in store. Probably because they're standing outside smoking. Selection is sub par and the items they usually do have are more like Sobeys prices...gouging much? My recommendation would be to fire the lot of the cashiers and put in self checkout seeing as most of the lanes are closed anyways. If it wasn't for the store being behind my house I wouldn't shop in that hole.

This FreshCo is in medium strip mall on Barton Street. They have a nice vegetable and fruit area. Store is well set up. Staff are helpful and friendly. Lots of parking outside.

It's a pretty decent one-stop shop if you need basic cooking essentials. Produce, meats and other general stuff are competitively priced most of the time. Be sure to shop around for a cheaper price if possible since you can price match competitors. Cashiers are always courteous and the store is moderately clean. Good value for your money.

The store is great, neat, prices are reasonable, unfortunately, the customer service has been terrible for a while now, I think some floor reps do well to an extent, but the cashiers are unbelievably rude, 90% of the cashiers I've encountered seem unpleasant, and unhappy to be working there, I noted their names each time, I choose not to mention names, but I hope the management takes note.

Was very disappointed that there was only one cashier on and wasn't exactly very friendly. They did not follow covid guidelines of waiting until one person was finished packing before starting next customer. There was no cleaning done between customer. The biggest thing that bugs me is when you enter the store you have to look everywhere for sanitizer.

Use to be my main store. After being called a theif by the cashier because a staff put a reduced coupon on meat 2 days early. Adked to speak to manager got the meat manager ehi saud the same thing. Almost everything was reduced in the section. Will never go back.

My fav local grocery store but....why the huge selection of specific foreign brands and not items noted on sale? Like my beloved grape crush. Regardless, love the cashiers, there is great produce but some very strange and specific foreign brands taking up a lot of the shelf spaces. E.g. I cannot find certain national brand breads, but there are at least 3 kinds of corn torillas plus 2 flour tortillas. I love Mexican food but do we need that much selection of Mexican style bread? I myself would love to see some Japanese items, further selection of teas, This same concentration is set on other very specific food areas but to the detriment of regular brands, which I must go elsewhere for.

I really like this place. I find the staff nice and friendly, so much so that I refuse to go to any other Freshco location. We've gotta keep a grocery store in the hood, not a walmart! OK there are two things I don't like about my local Freshco. 1. They price match with a two item limit. I usually like to stock up on sale items but because of their limit they force me to buy at one of the other stores. 2. I don't like their buggies. They have a lot of buggies but they are always stuck to each other. I mentioned this to one of the managers and she explained that they look the same but there are two different sizes. "Just come into the store and ask for someone to help you get a buggy," she said. Now I really don't want to wait around for someone to help me and it doesn't seem as if they have a solution. I have an idea. Take the two different sized buggies and separate them by size. Colour code the different sizes. One can stay black while the other gets a section painted, orange. That will distinguish the two sizes. The buggies can be put in their colour coded rows. It's not a perfect solution but its better than constantly trying to pull apart those buggies. March 2019 - Hurrah and thanks for the new buggies!

I never have a quarter on me because it's the 21st century and we use debit now. Since I can't get myself a buggy, My only other option is a basket. Rarely have any baskets at the entrance. Usually have to walk through the store to the check-outs to find a basket. So now I can only buy about $20 in food instead a buggy full closer to $150. Way to go freshco. You lose over $100 in business from me every week because you keep your buggies locked up.

I have been shopping at this location for 22 years, since it was an IGA. I went to do my groceries after work tonight @9:35 and was told by 1 of the employees when I entered the store that they close in 15mins I had a short list and would have been done. I work in customer service and I understand that employees want to go home. When I got to the dairy section the same employee was closing up the section and I asked if I could still grab something, she rudely told me that they close at 10 not 10:15 and they dont get paid to stay longer then 10pm and I should have come earlier, so I left my cart in the dairy section and left the store and I will not return.

Absolutely incompetent.... I was almost finished shopping when I had to go to the bathroom and came out when my cart was gone! Like GONE!!! So I went to the front of the store, asked the cashier why someone would take my cart, she was rude, uninterested and told me that people have left their cart around all night because the debit machine was down... Listen, not my problem I'm not interested in anything except the location of my cart that wasn't gone for TWO MINUTES!!! I could have gone back and shopped but I didn't see why it's not my fault their employees are useless....

Just bought two cantaloupes yesterday, they both came out this way. This comes after a week of trying to get garlic bread, above the bread section they have three tiles broken out covered in black mould and water leaking all over the bread section, I mentioned it to two ladies who laughed it off and started talking about how gross this store was and how they wanna go back to their normal store, that ceiling did not get fixed for over a week. And at least 3 times last week I kept trying for the garlic bread but still swimming. Now this. I’ve just moved to the neighborhood and the next closest grocery store is a 45 minute walk. I think it’s absolutely disgusting that my kids have to deal with this type of food selections. Makes me wonder about their covid sanitizations. If they can’t uphold their store to PROPER health conditions how can they bring it up to government covid code?

Grace, was our cashiers name, and never in my life time going to freshco has she ever been so rude. She asked us if we would like bags... assuming from my previous visit that they were no longer using plastic bags I said to her you have bags again? And she says no... but asks me again if I want bags? Instead of politely explaining that the new bags are green fabric and cost 25 cents. I told her she has poor customer service and she proceeded to agree with me, a simple questions triggered her. She was viciously swearing at myself and my mother. When my girlfriend had enough of her attitude she proceeded to leave the store, the cashier then asked her if she would like to fight her??? Super upsetting and unprofessional. I get it you work in a grocery store but have some common respect for other around you.
