Everyone at Dundurn Market was nice an friendly but the food was extremely disappointing. The huevos rancheros and croissant Eggs Benedict were flavourless, dry and unseasoned. The "home fries" tasted like left over baked potato that someone had friend in a pan without oil or butter. The most insulting part of my order was adding bacon; one single strip of bacon had been broken in half and hidden under the poached egg. I returned my food mostly-uneaten because it was so unappetizing. McDonalds' all-day breakfast saved the day. I'm giving two stars because the staff were nice and a manager or cook came out to ask us what had been wrong with our meal. The other two members of my group we're raving about how great Dundurn Market is so we were shocked by the poor food quality.

A lovely, affordable-chic atmosphere with small market produce available - I especially like that they sell peonies. The home-cook catering style food is predictable comfort food with mild flavours. In house iced tea is great, coffee is passable.

After an issue with a third-party product, I decided to give Dundurn Market a second chance. The staff at store took my issue seriously and addressed it in a timely fashion. I respect that. During my subsequent visit, I purchased some great products ranging from Arctic Char to popcorn to body soap - brands and products that I hadn't seen elsewhere before. I will be back again for more soap, and expect to try out some other products at that time.

I searched for hours for a business in the Hamilton area who could deliver a birthday gift box and card and I somehow found Dundurn Market who could meet my needs. They offer custom gift boxes and have a wonderful variety of carefully curated coffees, teas, chocolates, cheeses, deserts, entrees, wines, cards and much more. Also flower bouquets. Their delivery service is exceptional, the staff are very pleasant to deal with due to their excellent communication and they strive to go the extra mile. Cool cafe/restaurant with great food and desserts. They offer a variety of tasty soup and sandwich combos all day. For dinner usually have 2-3 delicious dishes pre-cooked and ready to serve. There are several local coffee roasters available here fresh-brewed or to buy. Also selling some fresh produce and flowers. Awesome place with a great vibe to eat or grab a coffee with some friends.

Checked out Dundurn Market today to put a little care package together for a friend. I found some really nice prepared items which was exactly what I was looking for! Exactly what this neighbourhood needed. They do what they do so well. They sell all the staples if you’re in need of any groceries— including fresh local items like de la terre sourdough, along with a nice selection of organic produce. They sell delicious already prepared foods— my favourites are their freshly baked muffins, vegetarian soups and the Bohemian sandwich (avocado, olive tapenade, arugula on fresh bread.) The staff is friendly and super helpful! A must visit if you live in the neighbourhood!

It is nice to have a local place that sells fresh produce, bread, wine and beer. Seems like they have created a community around their store, that’s great. However some of the prices are gauging. Couple examples- got chips, a guacamole and bread there and it cost $30- could have went out to a patio and gotten a drink for that price. Another example is their gin is marked up $20 from the LCBO which you can get the exact same. I think they know people around the area their store is in have money and their prices reflect this. All that aside though, I really like how they make their shoppers feel safe. They have limited the numbers and now have masks mandatory, love this. However, this is my biggest complaint about this place, is when you only have 1-2 people allowed in the store, the staff shouldn’t have long catch ups with customers when there are others waiting in line. I understand it’s a community and I enjoy banter with employees but long drawn out conversations while others are waiting- that isn’t cool. I have been in line a few times and left thinking I’m not going to wait while someone one talks and I left and spent my money elsewhere. All in all like the shop a lot but someone’s very annoying experience to go.

One of the greatest retro restaurants in Hamilton, with fresh ingredients and great coffee. Their sandwiches are made with the best bread in town. Salads are fresh and tasty. Choice of pastry is limited but really fresh and satisfying. The croissants are great, and their Raspberry Scones are simply the best! Coffee is always fresh and does not need muddying with cream and sugar. Their smoked salmon sandwich is absolutely recommended, so is their BLT&A sandwich.

Been to Dundurn Market a few times. The food is amazing and the service is very friendly and helpful. The BLT with egg is on of my favorite sandwiches. And the chocolatine always hits the spot. I am also in love with their prepackaged lunch. Quick, easy, and very tasty. Great place for a quiet meeting or to get some work or studying done.

I've had 2 deliveries so far! They even braved the ice storm to deliver! Extremely friendly staff, amazing customer service and the local farm fresh organic is incredible! I've recently discovered I am Celiac and allergic to preservatives, the bikeables market deliveries have really helped me transition and create healthy meals at home without paying grocery store prices for imported produce. I can't believe I can even get local dairy that isn't pasteurized and full of hormones. Can finally have yogurt at breakfast that doesn't hurt me! Thanks for all you do! Love it and will continue to order for my family and I.

UPDATED: great change since the reopening, good selection and quality of produce as well as locally sourced and organic. They also have a nice selection of dairy, meat and fresh breads. I have subscribed to there market box and have never been disappointed. Justin and the staff are also helpful and friendly. Also if you are looking for a ready made a bite to eat the menu has a nice selection of soups, salads and sandwiches including vegan options. There is no parking lot but always a spot available on Dundurn just s few steps away.

We use the Dundurn delivery service weekly and it is fantastic! I had to stop in to pick up one extra loaf of bread. Due to the C19 restrictions back in place, there was a lineup outside (not the issue). A family was Infront with two small children, a grandparent and a dog. The mother went in with one child looked around and purchased a few items, came back out then the father went in with the other child and did the same. Last the grandparent took one child in, came back out and took the second. I know this is the fault of the family but Dundurn should have noticed what was going on and put a stop to it. When I mentioned to the family that I would just like to get one loaf of bread they said they were here first and I would have to wait.

The brewed coffee alone distinguishes Dundurn Market as a top contender amongst Hamilton's must-visits, but there's way more than that to recommend this boutique eatery to the conciencious diner. DM offers a variety of freshly baked goods, soups, salads, deserts and sandwiches crafted from the in-store kitchen and other local green businesses (with a diverse enough menu to satisfyingly accomodate gluten-free, dairy-free or vegan preferences. Their dairy-free ice cream is incredible!). And while the inside seating is a mite limited, lunchers able to snag the corner bench nook will be more than pleased. On a nice day, the adjoining patio affords a relaxing, private reprieve from whatever. An organic shopper can check the weekly shopping from the to-do list, because of course, Dundurn Market is also, well, a market. Fresh, locally sourced produce and flowers adorn the room's interior and a trolley at the store's outer entrance. Packaged organic and ethically sourced goods fill the remaining walls and fridge/freezer sections. From an observer's standpoint, the amicable staff seem to be on a first name basis with every customer who walks through the door, young or old. Moreover, approachable classes around modern cooking trends and techniques (think kombucha brewing or knife skills) are offered bi-monthly (Date night!). DM smacks of community (not in the annoying way ????), making this cafe a Hamilton staple and the only destination for your next casual brunch.

Small local organic store. I like their fresh baked goods and coffee which is likely from other organic products they have. Have a lot of selections and unique items that you wouldn't find in regular grocery stores. A bit pricey but I guess that's just how it is for any other organic/local stores. They have thoughtful chair and table right outside for you to enjoy the good you bought for good while which feels peaceful and has friendly attendants Would recommend to visit even if you're not all about the organic produce

(Vegans, if you're reading this, they have more vegan options than they used to, which is good?) Post-renovation, now much more market; much less café/restaurant. Lack of Wi-Fi and spartan, uncushioned seating feels unwelcoming. Outdoor seating gone in favour of merchandise. Much of the inventory is available online or elsewhere at fractions of the price. Menu's passable, but overshadowed by all the $20-50 household items they would love to sell you. Why pay $3 for a double handful of oats when they're nine times cheaper at Food Basics? If you like the atmosphere and get good vibes and can afford it, then "buy" all means stop by. Music is nice, which is weird given the seating and lack of 'Net. Water on tap is a nice thought as well. Overall though, this is basically equivalent to an independent Goodness Me! outlet with alternative signage.

Not only did I get exactly what I needed for a fancy cheese and olives, I had the most amazing customer service experience here! Both of the staff were super friendly and helpful. The inside of the shop was set up very pretty, will definitely be coming back

Dundurn Market’s grocery delivery is awesome! I loved everything they sent me and they were so polite and friendly. I would highly recommend their delivery service to anyone looking to keep their footprint down while the world is a mess. They offer fresh, local, organic, vegan, etc. produce, baked goods, and staples, as well as environmentally friendly cleaning and personal care supplies. I have yet to make it into the shop in person but when it’s safe to do so I’ll be visiting.

My husband and I used to love coming to this market when we first moved to Hamilton but it seems that lately, their customer service has just gone down hill. We will walk in and have no one greet us, employees walk by without acknowledging you, I had to stop an employee to ask about a certain product but she had no clue what I was talking about and didn't offer further assistance. I went into the Ottawa Street market yesterday and had a similar experience.

Cannot rave more about this store and the people that work here! I've loved everything I've bought here. Everything is so fresh (and delicious). Their flowers are absolutely gorgeous. If you're looking for somewhere to buy a beautiful, unique bouquet, this is the place to go. Their baked goods are delicious and their customer service is outstanding. I had some friends experience a loss recently - she lives up the street from Dundurn. My husband and I wanted some treats delivered (however we were out of the city at the time). Dundurn packed up our order and drove it over to our friends right away. They even wrote a note for us. A lovely store. Lovely people!

I am so thankful for this little market, great selection of local fruit, vegetables, dairy and meat. Nice selection of dry goods, they even have a small bulk section. I also like being able to pop in to grab a coffee, sandwich and yummy baked goods.

First time Really liked the "look" of the shop - lots of care obviously went into fixtures and aesthetica.It's pretty small and products would best lend themselves to serving up a really nice charcuterie-type dinner with some kind of small batch brew...I'm sure there was a selection of "beard oils" in there somewhere;)
