I love Deningers and was looking forward to a nice meal as I have become accustomed to. This visit I had a BBQ style sandwich. This one came out of a holding/warming box and was thrown back on the grill to reheat.ir was not very warm and was dry. Very disappointing. Next time I will stick with my original plan and have the Big Rudy. Now that is the best sandwich going!

I cannot recommend a better grocery store for delicious, interesting, international foods!! Their deli is incredible--excellent quality meats and service. Friendly, knowledgeable staff! I'm just posting this to warn anyone who goes to Denninger's on a Saturday between 5:30 and 6pm hoping for hot food. I was at my friend's cottage for a week, and planned on going to Denninger's on my way home for a pork and sauerkraut sandwich. I called the store to hear their hours, and then I looked at their website to double check. Imagine my surprise, after checking both sources, and going out of my way to their store, when I walked in and was told the hot area was closed at 5:30. I am sure I'm not the first person this has happened to, and I plan to contact them. I hope they will offer this info to their valued customers online and on the phone in the near future. It's just a brief bit of info that would save people some disappointment.

The selection of frozen food is pretty good. This location also has a fresh vegetable section which can be nice if you don't want to go to multiple places. I've been a bit disappointed in their fresh meat and deli slides lately though. I've asked for specific meats and gotten other ones instead, with the person behind the counter insisting that the slices they are giving me are the correct ones. Some of the meat out in the standing fridges is discolored looks like it has gone bad or will shortly. At this point, I'd rather drive down to the new Burlington mall location.

What a neat place! The bread selection is amazing... sampled some of it and it was delicious. They slice any fresh loaf for you at the bakery counter which is a huge plus. The only thing I would like to see is a better cheese collection. Our previous deli's had a large selection behind the counter that could be sampled & sliced to order. While the food here is delicious, I've been coming here for years now and I've seen the amount you get for the price you pay decrease more and more. I'm a huge fan of the cabbage rolls and usually get them by the large pan, however this will be the last time. The rolls are the smallest I've ever seen them and there's barely any sauce to even cover them half way meaning they just burn in the oven. I won't be back for a long time.

Not really sure why packing up a few sausages is such a big deal, and why they are closing things down when the store is still open to customers. Donut Monster delivers to Denninger’s Thurs to Sat and sometimes I see a day old donut with $1 off or for two donuts $2 off. Sausage on a bun with sauerkraut and onions is ok. So do the chicken or pork schnitzel sandwich.
