I asked one of the Walmart employees what kind of methods of payment are accepted, to which I got a prompt answer. Employees were knowledgeable and eager to help.I did some boxing day shopping quick and painless. Got a pleasant surprise when I visited the store later on in the afternoon to return an item that I purchased and didn't need. I was able to return the item in the same day regardless of the fact it was boxing day.most of other stores don't allow returns till early January. Overall very impressed with my experience in the Walmart and this particular store employees.

Grocery pickup 100%. The guys are so good. They sort my stuff by fridge/freezer & pantry & breads and do such a good job loading up every single time. My boyfriend and I went in there tonight to buy a bookshelf. We've seen it in store before, and didn't buy it at that time because we wanted to make sure it was the one we wanted before we bought it. We first looked at the other Walmart in Guelph, but they didn't have it in black, but had it in tan. There was a floor model at the Woodlawn store of the shelf we wanted, in white. We couldn't find any around the furniture department, so we asked a staff member to scan it (I worked at Walmart in the past and know the system), and the guy told us the store has 5, so I asked where they would be but his response was "I actually don't know, I haven't been here in like a month", and he walked away, absolutely not willing to help us find it. Frustrated, I went up to the customer service desk and asked for someone who may be willing to actually help us. She got another Rep to 'help us out' and he was also of no help. The tag was obvious on the shelf, same price and name. He looked at the one we had on the phone and said it was an online order thing only. So if it's an online order only, why is there a tag on the floor in store, that scans to show you have FIVE in the store, and you have one on display, and it's found in other stores, including yours in the past? Absolutely horrible customer service at this location. Only good thing about this location is the McDonalds in the summer to get a cheap dollar drink days drink while you shop. Will avoid this location going forward and shop elsewhere/at other Walmart when possible.

We like Walmart because if I need something and it's late at night...I can go here and typically find it at a great price. I don't go to Walmart expecting sales people to know details on products. I do go for the selection and prices.

Despite my good rating which I think this store deserves for it's size, neatness & customer service, I feel the store didn't carry a lot of items that other smaller stores carry. The selection was limited especially in the Home & Grocery sections. The bakery section is nice, however. The store is so huge that it has two entrances: one for Home & Pharmacy; the other for Food & Clothing. The staff are available & helpful as best as they can be compared to other Walmart stores where they are almost invisible. The prices seem a marginally higher than other Walmart stores.

It could have been better if I could get the wifi working in Walmart. I needed to take the bus home.I didn't have a schedule because I walked there and only decided to take the bus back home because of my feet being sore. I haven't taken the bus in a long time and I didn't know what time the buses stopped running on Sundays. So I just made the last bus on time. But almost missed it. I tried looking up the schedule of buses on the internet but the wifi was not working. If you say you have wifi, it should be working. Anyways, please isn't there something you can do about that??? Like Walmart but the toy selection is horrible, hardly have any selection and disappointing for a Supercenter. Bought Furniture, came broken, store not doing returns due to COVID-19 (Not their fault, I get it) Customers and staff for the most part not following social distancing rules or floor markings for which side to walk on or distance. Staff often at checkout wearing mask around neck or hanging. Positive is they enforce masks at the door and have a great foot operated sanitation station so I will give them that.

Went to Walmart Quensborough to price match an item I saw at the electronic section. It was a SanDisk 32 GB V3 that was priced for $29.99. This is there price match information online. "We pride ourselves on having everyday low prices. So, if you ever find a price that beats ours – we’ll match it. We’ll gladly Ad Match with proof of the current in-store retail price of any local competitor’s ad (printed or digital) for an identical item, provided that the item is in stock." I spoke to the customer service who rejected me right away because she doesn't know what Memory Express is. I told her that they have about 4 brick and mortar location in Lower Mainland but she still refuses and raised her voice and told me that she will not do it because they only price match grocery item in th flyer. I showed her their own price match rules and told me that she has never seen it and doesn't know about it. I asked her to call the manager (HARV) the manager was on the phone for 1 min and rejected again since Walmart only price match FUTURE SHOP which closed down many years ago. If you are planning on price matching at this location forget about it as they will just waste your time and give made up rules.

Was a little put out on Thursday, when I went in. Went to get antifreeze during my lunch hour, store wasn't very busy. I assumed I would be in and out in minutes. Call came over the PA system that the debits are down. Now, don't get me wrong, I know this is a privileged first world problem, but whatever. Had to stand in line for 15 minutes for what seemed like the slowest cash machine in the world. (Only had one, as well.) Cost me $2.79 to take a twenty out of this machine. So there, you got two stars. Give me my 2.79 back and we can chalk it up to a wasted lunch hour and I'll give you two stars back.

This Wall-Mart never has what you want. They run out of things all the time, and they don't care if you are unhappy. There is no help on the floor and if you want some customer service, fat chance. It is really a good store to buy grocery and other stuffs. But only problem is that it has only one halal section in the entire store and sometimes it goes out of stock as well. Has enough space for parking and wheelchair accessible entrance. When it comes to price it is good but not great. There are a lot of improvement can be made especially in the cutlery side. Or else in utensils section like other stores.

We were visiting North Bay. We picked up a couple of things there. We'd forgotten a birthday for a close family member in Australia. It was Sat evening so I went to the service desk to send some $ quickly through Western Union. I have done this a dozen times at home in Oshawa and now in Belleville. They usually ask for ID (Drivers License) and I am already in the system going to family in Australia. Here they asked for that plus a bill or something else with your address. Never been asked for that but this place refused to do it without mail, etc. I asked for the manager and she said the same thing. Incredible. If it's the rule at all Walmart's, why not here in Southern Ont?? I'm a senior and I was really disappointed with this store.

Well stocked and clean. It's a good WalMart. Pro tip: go early in the morning. All the produce is fresh and the store isn't crowded. One caveat though, the cooked deli items like chicken and taters, etc won't be ready yet, so if you like to buy them, you may prefer mid morning instead.

For some reason, the other reviewers have left nasty reviews for this Supercentre. However, my experiences at this place, at all the times have been borderline pleasant. This is one of those Supercentres that are as big as the ones you will find all over USA. So be prepared to walk from one point to the other if you are looking for stuff to buy for everyone in the family. Yes, the person standing by the exit may ask you to show the receipts while exiting - but why get offended by that? I have also been randomly asked by those personnel to show the receipts. The McDonalds inside the store is a welcome addition. One star removed because the people who run the store will have to be efficient when it comes to restocking. I often find myself in front of shelves that have run out of merchandise. And yes, this store seems to be filled with Indian International Students - who seem to forget that they are in Canada; but hey as long as they do their jobs, I am fine.

it's for my first time I'm doing google review and doing it for sukhdeep for being so amazing. since this covid-19 thing happened, we are using the online groceries pickup form Guelph north. for most of the time its always him who come out with our groceries having a big smile on his face. he is always cheerful and enthusiastic. I just wanted to let his manager know how good he is. yesterday, while we were there to pickup our groceries he took longer than he do and checked every item thoroughly. there some bad potatoes in a mini bag, he just went back into the store and bring a new bag for us. it seems to be really thoughtful of him. my husband offered him a tip but he said they are not allowed to take that. even after covid-19 gets over, we will keep using this service as Walmart actually cares.

Super loud talking between young employees between isles, always there at the same time.... just horrible cashiers, especially the moustache one. He doesn't take no for an answer when he wants you to sign up for whatever, you need to say no five times. I don't think I ever ran into happy dedicated employees that like their job, since the opening of the place. Truly sad. Only when last option.

Very rude and disrespectful. Today, they would not allow my husband and I enter together to do groceries. I spoke to the manager and told her it makes no sense as we live together and even if we lined up separately, we would meet up inside and she acknowledged it and said yes thats what people do....as long as you don't line up together. I told her I am a health care professional and this makes no sense as 1. We live together and 2. You know people are hooking back up inside and allowing it...she chuckles and says oh you know better eh? Our schedule doesn't allow us to go anytime we please, there are certain days and times we can go... The worst store I have ever visited. Half their produce is either rotten or empty and the customer needs to grab it from the stored boxes bottom. Horrendous experience as i even spared time to inform the manager on duty about the concern, but he seemed least bothered by any of the fact. I would personally drive a bit far, as the options are very limited and so it the quality. Highly recommended to find some other suitable options.

The Walmart here doesn't seem to have real security staff with uniforms that say SECURITY on the front and the back. When I exited the store and bought nothing the alarm went off. One of the staff member at the exit looked into my bag but look inside but just on the surface stuff but didn't look under my wallet and pamphlets that I had before I entered the store. He walked in and out of the anti theft system at the door 4 times. He didn't even apologize when he found no stolen items. I had to go to customer service and he was still mad and didn't realize what he had done wrong. Some of the staff here are racist like the one I encountered. Most of the staff here are from India or from Indian (Asian) descent. The one I encountered was probably ALLEGEDLY picking on non Indian (Asian) people. The store manager even had to apologize on his behalf. When I was at customer service he said very loud and clear and sounded so proud in front of me and the store manager that he was going to check my bag again if I walked out with the alarm going off. In the end he didn't even check when I left again, even when the alarm went off. I highly do not recommend you to go to this allegedly potentially racist Walmart.

What I like about Walmart especially is the 11 PM closing time. This place is very busy during the day so I prefer shopping late at night when checkouts aren't busy, parking near the entrance is easy to find and your visit time until your exit time is probably twice as fast as as daytime shopping. I have two serious medical conditions which deplete the necessary amount of oxygen I breath. I've tried a mask and within a couple minutes the oxygen depletion caused me to lose consciousness while slowly walking for a couple minutes. I fainted on a hard floor. After I took the mask off while on the floor, I was breathing heavily for a couple minutes to restore my oxygen level. When the mask business occurred, earning mask sellers billions $$, I continued to go to Walmart without a TV promoted mask. My medical exemption legally protects me from mask freaks and store personel, although there are many businesses who don't know of the legal exemptions and the government Dictators never include the mask exemptions with their mask restrictions. Walmart is one place where I'm not harassed by employees or customers. Store customers I've spoke with, who also have breathing problems like emphysema, copd, lung damage, etc., seem to want to tolerate wearing a mask because they want to be like the rest of the masked people and not stand out as being different . I can't relate to these people who are afraid to be different than everyone else.

There is a lot to take in at this northern location. Common areas of the store are clean while not so visible areas, not so much. Staff are friendly. Busy location, lots of season merchandise to choose from, ship to store for free. Pharmacy is extremely busy, seems to be short staffed much of the time. Everyday I go in to this store, and everyday the elderly white women that work in the front always aggressively insist on ringing me through or stand next to me at the self check out watching me ring through my drink and treat me like I am some kind of thief. I work next door in the mall and my co-worker has also dealt with this harassment from them too and for a while we just ignored it but we are quite sick of it and we are in the store once or twice a day to grab a drink from the coolers or groceries on our way home. As I write this, half of the grocery department is cordoned off, on a Public Health order due to a rat infestation. I have worked in supermarkets, and rodents are always a problem if there is insufficient staffing, poor management and uncaring employees. It is impossible that management and employees did not know they had a rat problem, yet they continued to sell the affected food. That's shameful and the last time I will buy anything edible here.

This store isn't great, and every time they make a change they make it worse. The changed the aisles up, now carts don;t fit properly by the pillars. The switched to coin operated carts, but there is no where to get change! The seemingly did this because people used to leave carts everywhere. Now people bring their carts back to the coral, and the employees never bring them back to the front of the store. The carts are often blocking half the lane or more! It's emblematic of everything that goes on inside... that said, I still shop there because Save-On-Foods has extortionist pricing, and my local Safeway isn't much better and has no parking.

Where do I start? Although Walmart has low prices, both stores in our area do not have the usual stock I buy. From time to time, I have to settle for lesser quality items while the items I want are out for months at a time. Also, try to get a job there? Forget it! Their hiring practices are highly questionable, and one trip in and you will see why. I feel like I'm being held over a barrel because I don't have a lot of money to spend on groceries. Their shopping experience gets lower and lower each time I go because their rules keep changing about bags/no bags, masks/ no masks, arrows, low stock, you name it. They get in your way walking opposite traffic in aisles..... just a totally horrible experience all the way around. Superstore doesn't treat me like a criminal, why should Walmart?

This is my favorite location, I live equal distance to Huntsville, Parry Sound and North Bay. Huntsville and Parry Sound don't carry half the products even the Walmart brand items, very frustrating when out with friends and they take me to those locations. Neither one ever sells Pepsi, that is a product I expect to see in all Walmart's but 90% of the time they don't even have a spot on a shelf for it. North Bay has everything!!!!! The pharmacy staff is great and always helpful, easily one of the best Walmart pharmacies I've been to. However, stock here is hit or miss and the same can be said for the staff. I've had dealings with one staff member in particular who has always been very rude for no reason. One time when I asked him a question regarding product stock he got very short with me and walked off. I asked another staff member and they helped me find what I was looking for, but I still dread having to deal with this particular staff member everytime I go in. That being said, the greeters are always friendly and helpful and if you have any questions it's probably best to ask them.

Lied about the credit card have $40 rebate. And said NO One can do anything about it. But actually they know exactly what to do. The $40 rebate is 4 different ways to receive and the first $15 is not possible to get because you have to buy over $50 the same day you apply and NO One tells you about it. When I asked, they treated me like I am a beggar out from street. And finally gave me a $15 gift card. I don’t really need this $15 and I don’t need to apply for Walmart credit card. Why treat customers like beggars and NO One apologizing for the mistake they made. Worst experience!

Not a big fan of walmart, but this branch is different. Staff is incredibly nice and helpful. It's a big branch that has most of the grocery needs. It's always clean. They have the self-checkout option, which is convinient. Their parking is big and free(the Bayshore mall parking).

I have to say the last three visits have floored me. My son was almost hit with one of their pick up groceries cart because the employee was too busy to keep their eyes open. Offered no apologies. This last time I was accused of shop lifting i pegged as soon as I walked in to the self check out and shadowed then they stopped me and took apart my whole order. Absolutely no other solution except a manager apologies and I'll look into it. There are plenty of stores so if I need to ill go there !

Visited Walmart at Bayshore Drive, today for the first time to grocery shop. I was appalled that there was not a dispensary of hand sanitizers when entering the grocery part of the store. How unsanitary, especially when the public are putting their hands on the cart handles and then touching items such as fruit and produce. Interesting, there is a dispenser just outside the Washroom area that is dispensing dry paper towels. Again, how unsanitary, please don't assume each person coming from that area has actually washed their hands. Many just rinse and walk away. I really liked the staff at this wal-Mart but very disappointed in the lack of adult coloring books. The young fellow helping was great but it wasn't his dept when the older staff member came he just said well there may be some in those boxes in the middle of the aisle but because of the civic holiday I haven't got to them. I was there with my elderly mother who's 80 and only gets to Moncton once in awhile. We made this trip because I was down visiting from Ontario. I called Michaels and they informed me they had a good selection I took her a few doors down so to speak and got her about 8 new books that I would have spent at wal-Mart. Otherwise my experience was great with a lady in jewelry she was very helpful with me picking out things for family young and old. Had she not have been so good of course I would have went and got the charms and chains for the 2 granddaughter' s and the 6 older girl's and men elsewhere as well.

Went to grab new headbands for Stacey. Goal was to find something that allowed her to wear during work outs and actually keep hair out of her face without having to adjust it every 37 seconds. This brand allows for shaping of the band to fit your noggin' and has rubber on the inner side to gently grasp your hair. Several colours to select. Ended up also grabbing Old Spice body wash and fuel for the ride home. Everyone loves Turtles... We didn't need a lot of help on this visit but the store was clean and well organized which made locating our desired products much easier.

Definitely one of the worst Walmart's around. Biggest irritation, check-out on most days is severely understaffed and I have to wait up to 20-30 minutes to leave! Constantly, food products don't get restocked, I come back to empty shelves. "Did you find everything you need today?" Nope. Strawberries are always molded, and they still charge full price. Produce prices are too high, ridiculous prices on apples, lemons, and cantaloupe. My local produce shop down the street is more than 50% savings, and better quality too compared to Walmart. As well, constant price errors. Almost every visit results in me getting free stuff, as a result of the Voluntary Scan Policy, because I catch they tried to charge me more than the sticker price (although, this means I have to wait 10 minutes for the cashier to walk to the item in the store and manually check the price of the item). Plus Customer Service is also understaffed, with lines so big, the 1 representative doesn't have time to answer the constantly ringing phone.

Went in today to see that none of their plants have been watered! What a waste of merchandise as well as just careless. Leaves were falling off cactuses.
