I love this store I just wish I was close to it. Friendly staff and following covid protocols. The one thing I didn't like (has absolutely nothing to do with the staff or store) was I was there one day and one of the female staff was letting people in according to how many were allowed and some Ahole outside freaked out on her and made her cry. He was threatening, swearing and calling her names. She came in in tears and the other staff were quick to help her and the manager was down super fast to help her also. Be nice to employees who are just doing their job

This store is cozy and friendly with a well-organized layout. It's usually pretty clean. The prices are often good although I find that on meat and produce they fluctuate wildly. Sometimes I'll hit a good day and buy everything, others I'll walk out empty-handed. Most stores are like this but I find Freshco more so. The staff are super friendly, but there aren't enough of them so there's big lineups at rush hour. I avoid this store between 3 pm and 6 pm and on Saturdays. All in all it's one of my favourite stores in Guelph!

They publish some item in their flyer at discount, and when you go there to buy that item, you find that it’s already out of stock. And they won’t be able to restock that item for next 4 days. And then price will be back to normal after 4-5 days. So basically it’s a clickbait game they want to play.

Up until recently FreshCo has always been my number 2 grocery store however I was unhappy with the produce at my #1 choice and find Freshco's to be much better so FreshCo has now become my #1.

1 cash one person! What's the point of having the other tills there and making people stand in line when they will only use one till and only one person can check out??? But it's ok for everyone to sand in line forever!! Open all the check outs and get people taken care of instead of just one damn check out!

It has some good sales on, but remember that it doesn't have actually departments for fresh fish and meats, or even a seafood counter. Its straight up packaged everything minus the fruits and veggies. It's good in a pinch if you need to get something.

I do a lot of my shopping here if I can. There aren't a lot of these stores around but I find a lot of their products cheap and very high quality. Never had an issue with the fruits, vegetables, and breads. Meat also comes out looking nice. The staff at this location are always polite, sometimes wait times can be slow as there may only be 1 or 2 registers open. I'd suggest taking a look around at their items, I've found products not in any other grocery store beside fresh co that taste amazing.

I enjoy shopping here. Seems to be the right location and the right size. It's conveniently located with the rest of the stores where I shop. There's always a good selection of product and lots of deals. The staff are very friendly as well which makes the task of shopping even more pleasant. Thanks for keeping prices low in Guelph!

One of the best grocery stores in Guelph. Always well-stocked, organized and helpful staff. The biggest differentiator is the amount of cash registers open, minimizing wait times and ensuring a smooth shopping experience. Cleanliness is also top-notch with stain free floors and a parking lot that is free of stray shopping carts, the most common nuisance.

Not my regular spot for groceries, but they run good specials on fresh veggies and some cuts of roasts and chops or chicken parts. This past Friday before Christmas I had to pick up a couple of items for brunch and Christmas dinner. ???? I was not impressed at the selection of fresh fruit plates or salad that I normally find readily available elsewhere. Fresh baked goods were very limited to cookies, bread, buns, loaves and muffins. I was after Danish ,sweet bun or coffee cake. I had tried to cut my time by avoiding another stop at another grocery store. It wasn't worth the visit. ????

For the size of this place, the selection and the prices can't be beat. This is my go to grocery store. The selection is amazing - I've found international foods here you can't find anywhere. My only caveat is always check the best before dates: I've bought things here numerous times that are well past their bb date, or a day or two away from it (for full price). Otherwise, it's the best grocery store in Guelph.

I enjoy shopping at FreshCo. The prices are usually affordable, it always smells fresh and clean, rarely are shelves unstocked and without item on sale, and there is a washroom. The reason for four stars is: I find it uncomfortable (esp. when getting a lot of groceries at once), at FreshCo., because of the time to it takes to bag My own groceries.

Alright selection. Barely any gluten free/organic options. The meat is... kind of gross. Cheap meat, not really worth it mostly. Store is clean enough and staff are helpful, but if you can't find what you're looking for go to the cash, otherwise you'll never find anyone to help you.

Oct. 20 update: Once again, I realized that I find it too difficult to find specific items at this store; because the store layout simply does not make sense. And the markings as to what is in each aisle are not adequate. I will be going back to shopping at the nearby Food Basics. Sept. 9 update...wow, the aisles are narrow ... when one person stops to look for something, no one else can get by and you get traffic jams. Much less of an issue at Food Basics. I shopped here March 29 and was pleased with the precautionary measures used at this store. And they were not out of stock on bananas, bread, most produce, eggs, etc. Maybe they ARE out of stock on some days but it was fine on Sunday morning.

Today I road my bike to freshco wearing my backpack to store my groceries on my ride home. As I walked in the store, the employee told me I can't enter the store with my backpack! I shop here 3 times a week and this is just ludacris! After speaking to the manager, he said it's not right however it's the NEW OWNERS WHO ARE MANDATING A NO BACKPACK POLICY! I WILL NEVER SPEND MY HARD EARNED MONEY HERE EVER AGAIN!

I was always under the impression that FreshCo was a grocery store for cheap product and produce. Entering this store for the first time I was astounded at the amount of international produce and products ! Thus freshCo is now one of our go-to shops for all our international recipes from South East Asian, Chinese, Indian and Mediterranean ingredients. Great selection, great friendly staff and a very clean store.

Items for sale totally not sequential to optimum walking for seniors and disabled not pleased .I find it derogatory to ourunwanted health issues. I would give -5 ☆ if available. But extremely nice cashiers.

The limit to buy anything is 12. Even regular priced items. if you would like to get lemon and it is priced by piece you can only get 12. So is cookies etc. Wow price match is limited to 2 items I believe. If you want a good selection with no limit and low price go to Walmart. Forget about this store.

I thought I had left my wallet at the store today after shopping. I returned to the store hours later in a quiet panic. I saw Mark in line purchasing his own groceries and approached him about it. Once done in line he asked me more details and went upstairs to check video. He was able to verify I took it with me which helped me think straight . I returned home to find it in .my gym bag. My wife went the the store on Speedville yesterday and in front of her there were 2 - 20ish men one with a face mask and one without. When it came time for them to enter the Freshco employee allowed both in without being asked by the employee asking the one without a mask to put one on. This is the law in Wellington County and the Freshco management needs to educate their employees. I hope this does not happen again.

First time at the store. Prices were high, far higher than they should be. I could not find any local produce, and to top it all off the cashier did not even pack all my groceries into the bag. Not very nice to come home without some of the items you paid for. Will not be shopping at this store after an experience like this.

As Vegans we stick mostly to the produce areas of the store. I appreciate that Fresh consistently offers bean sprouts and other sprouts (like alfalfa) (sprouts can sometimes be a challenge to source at other grocery stores,) and that everything is at a great price point. We find grapeseed oil (and other oils) and some gluten free options at this retailer, and we notice that the freezer section is expanded and now includes things like cashew ice cream and other dairy alternatives - not just soy options. There are also extensive ethnic foods sections in the store (freezer and aisles). The store is consistent in its level of cleanliness and efforts to be inclusive. Price point, gf products, dairy and wheat alternatives, a fairly sized produce section a clean store and lots of parking and it is accessible and they have an in store washroom, in case you drank a little too much tea before you left the house.
