This farm definitely qualifies as a "Divine Happy Place" for me. It's a gorgeous, serene escape from daily troubles, yet really close to home. The place offers stunning views of the Ottawa river, a children's playground, cute farm animals you can pet and vast fields of luscious strawberries, raspberries and blueberries that you can pick yourself or pick up from their shop. The shop itself also sells local veggies, eggs, honey, decadent butter tarts, pies, croissants and cookies. Oh, and let's not forget the terrasse café, where you can sit and enjoy the view while sipping great coffee and indulging in one of their fluffy Belgian waffles, smothered in fresh berries and whipped cream. You can also beat the heat with their Divine gelato and homemade, refreshing Kombucha.

We went for apple picking today, a yearly activity we usually go south of the river to indulge in. Friendly staff, cool little boutique for homegrown produce, nice tractor ride to get to the apple trees, some farm animals (namely goats and chickens) are also to be found there to entertain the little ones. The apples are not as big, juicy or plentiful as some other places are capable to offer, but overall the kids had fun and so did we, so it's two thumbs up here.

Strawberry picking is the main feature. There are a few animals to see and a small, but new, play structure for kids. Can buy veggies and breakfast (eg waffles) too. No good lunch options otherwise would give it 5 stars.

I visited on July 4. There were baskets of strawberries and raspberries. I bought the strawberries (approx $7) and they were delicious! As fresh as from your garden. They offer baked goods like baguettes, croissants and chocolatines (all baked on site), pies (a small approx $8). There were not so many fresh vegetables though. The selection varies by season. They also have a counter where you can find gelato, ice cream treats, waffles and some drinks. My daughter enjoyed her sundae but it didn't look different from a Dairy Queen sundae - a cup of soft ice cream, some syrup and whipping cream ($5) The coffee was over brewed - I assume they don't sell much of this. They only had small creamers for milk (never got as many as I needed) so I didn't enjoy my drink at all. We sat outside at a picnic table. The view is lovely from here, as you feel like you're in the countryside. There are some animals for kids to look at and a play structure set up as well. Overall, I enjoyed my experience as I have on other occasions. The strawberry rhubarb pie was excellent, although I'm not sure it's baked on site. I find the prices are a bit high, but not outrageous. It's a great family outing I have found.

A great little family farm that offers a selection of freshly baked bread and treats like pies. They offer sorbet, gelato, soft serve and smoothies and there is a variety of freshly picked fruit and veggies available when in season. Today we picked out own raspberries and we're treated to a wagon ride to the field and bank, which the kids thoroughly enjoyed. Raspberries, when picking your own, are $8/liter or $15/2 liters.

I love this place. It is an awesome spot to grab some fruit, veggies, fresh bread, honey, kombucha, and baked goods. I haven't tried the coffee, home made soup they have or iced cream but I mean to eventually. It all looks very good. Some things can be a bit more pricey than going to the Aylmer market for produce, but I still like to stop in and grab a treat or two now and then.

They have a nice store with a variety of products and an ice cream and gelato bst. They have tractors with wagons attached and they drop you off in the apple orchard or the pumpkin patch. My daughter and I took (her) my 3 grandchildren to the pumpkin patch. You just walk through the pumpkin patch and select your pumpkin. There are lots of pumpkins to choose from. The wagon takes you back and you can leave or visit some goats or chickens. We have about 4 times. We love it and the kids have a blast. The people running the place are really nice and friendly. I highly recommend this place.

It was expensive to actually pick your own apples, $24 for one bag with a tractor ride. If you're taking multiple kids then it's worth it, but I was surprised. The store on site is great, fantastic baked goods.

Une expérience délicieusement inoubliable ! We had so much fun picking apples in this junior orchard. Perfect for 2 to 8 year olds since the trees are still young and you don’t need to climb a ladder to get to the apples! Healthy apples, no pesticides. You can ALSO pick your own: strawberries, corn, squash, and pumpkins! The pumpkin patch is Instagram heaven. ;) We will visit this farm in Aylmer for many more years ... beautiful location with water views, a play area for kids, lots of picnic tables, amazing store, and a little animal farm too. It's impressive how much this place has been able to get done in 14 years...they have a kombucha busines, too. Definitely check it out.

Picked fresh strawberries today. Also stopped in and had a chocolate milkshake. Always fresh and delicious. A must is the buttertarts, sooo good. It's nice to live in Aylmer and have Potager Eardley close buy. I often stop in to buy fresh vegetables or their home baked goods. Excellent service and very friendly people. Once you've been there you will always go back. Now time to make fresh strawberry jam. Yum yum!!!

2019 update; been strawberry picking in July and apple picking in September. Always a pleasure but I have to dock a star now. The prices are starting to get absurd for what you are offerred. I get it, the experience and etc is what you get, but I have been to this place for many years now and I am unsure if my patronage will continue if the prices continue to climb while the quality of the produce remains the same. TLDR; good produce, not the best, expensive AF for what you get.

On the other hand, nobody was there to tell us where to go or to explain to us how the place works. So, being used to going elsewhere, we brought our baskets, to get to the end near the field to be told that we could not use our own baskets and that we had to return to reception to pay the baskets of the place, which we then fill as desired and that there is no question weight. We found it ordinary that no one was there to guide us. Otherwise, the rest of the experience was great. Beautiful area. Lack of service and animal cruelty! This is the first time I have ever left an online review but I was so very disappointed with my first visit to Potager Eardley today. Tried checking the website and calling to ensure that we would be able to pick berries today but no information and no answer. So we went ahead based on the recent, positive reviews. Drove 30 minutes to find out we couldn't pick today because of the heat. Decided to look at the animals before we drove back and found that, despite said heat, none of the chickens had any water. I talked to two different employees and was given the responses, "Merci" and "It's not my job". I asked that the message be passed on to a supervisor so that someone could make sure these chickens got water. We wandered around for about an hour trying to decide where else to go to pick berries while the children got increasingly upset about the state of the chicken coops (besides the lack of water, the only food was caked in feces). I do know from experience that chickens smell and can be quite dirty but there is just no excuse for water containers that are filled with dried feces and black fungus. We managed to fill some with small amounts of water from our water bottles which the birds immediately drank up desperately. It was 1:30 pm when we left and it was obvious from the state of the dried out water feeders that they had not been filled since at least the day before. But they are meant to hold enough water for days so it must have been days since they'd been attended to. It was impossible to tell if the goats and donkey had water. I do not understand how a place of business that leaves their animals out as entertainment for visitors can be so flagrantly neglectful. Sadly I will never find out if their berries are worth picking but I will certainly not support their egg sales.

Nice pumpkin patch to go with kids. The wagon ride out to the patch is a few minutes. There is a play structure and some animals to occupy kids while waiting for the wagon. The store sells their fruits and vegetables along with tarts and pies. There is also a gelato stand in the store.
