However because of the small size of the inventory the prices are rather high. So it's not a good place to make a big order but rather a place to troubleshoot without having to drive up to plateau. This is not a supermarket but still an essential without which Val Tétreault would be a real food desert. (Original) Probablement le meilleur endroit à Gatineau pour les bières de micro-brasseries. Il y a aussi une bonne variété de produits préparés maison, de fromages fins et de produits bio. Toutefois à cause de la petitesse de l’inventaire les prix sont plutôt élevés. Ce n’est donc pas un bon endroit pour faire une grosse commande mais plutôt un endroit pour dépanner sans avoir à conduire jusqu’à plateau. Ce n’est pas un supermarché mais quand même un indispensable sans lequel Val Tétreault serait un véritable désert alimentaire.

Some small businesses don't deserve the love. Here we are, 8 months into the pandemic, and this place will not get a 'tap' card reader because they resent you for not using cash. Ask for a mix of coins in your change, and they resent you for not bringing smaller bills. When I go to the corner store, I expect to be gouged on price by cheerful staff!

I always stop here before going into Gatineau Park. They have a great selection of food, drink and prepared meals to bring picnicking. Staff are super nice here and they make quality products on site. Their selection of beverages is wide enough that anyone can find something they like. Super convenient location!
