Under new ownership. at first I had sworn I wouldn't go because after 30 or so years and 2 previous owners Dave was no longer on staff there. Dave is a gananoque staple and I and many other miss him. I however ended up visiting anyways due to convenience and being lazy. I must say that the new owner and his family are very sweet and know how to take care of buisness. The big guy (dad) let me slide on a purchase one evening because I had forgotten my wallet. Paid the next time in. Its those little things that get you near and dear in a town full of locals and makes you unforgettable in a very heartwarming kind of way. small town flavour for sure. His eldest daughter is super cute too. welcome to town new friends and thank you for being so darn friendly. 3 owners and over 30 years of consistent quality service. speaks for itself.

Friendly staff and decent prices however a lot of what they sell seems to be expired so check the dates first. Bought a thing of cookies that expired nearly 9 months from when I bought it and I constantly have to check chocolate bars and drinks as those are frequently expired as well by at the very least 1 month
