Always a shopping shopping delight! There is ample parking. I had to take my baby in her stroller today and the door attendant helped me to lift the stroller into the store which was above and beyond. The meat and produce are top quality! We love shopping here

An old school downtown grocery store. Good quality grocery basics sourced locally. Wonderful staff and often a parking attendant. I suspect if you ask, they'll carry the groceries to your car in the lot

The best place for local produce that is well priced and good quality. Very good prices on meats and a wide variety of choice (though not always available, Victory includes less common cuts that is typically used outside of north american cuisine (chicken heart, beef tendon, tripe, halal meat, etc.). On top of the top notch produce and meats, the service at victory always brings a smile to my face; friendly and helpful, everyone from the butchers to the cashiers. Lastly, if you are a student, they give a constant 5% discount as long as you have a valid student card. One of my favorite places to do groceries.

Excellent local market. A wide variety of products, including some international ones. Of course, their meat options are always tip top and if they don't have what you want on display, they can do special cuts. As far as local shops usually go, the prices are also reasonable. Not as cheap as your big grocers, but reasonable enough that it doesn't break the bank to choose to shop local. And they have a loyalty program.

Aside from meat, my advice is to stick to the basics, and experiment with the carried and sometimes unusual produce selection. The only downside is the lack of choices for dry-goods (cans, packaged food, etc) - but you can often find a good variety of essentials, and often brand names not available at a big box grocery store.

Great local spot to pick up some groceries! Especially if you work downtown it's in the perfect spot to pick up your groceries after work. But even if you don't work downtown, they have a great selection of foods! Their variety isn't as good as a larger grocery store, but it's still quite decent, you could do all your grocery shopping in just this one store.

I love victory meats, we now buy 99% of our meats there. We got the corned beef the other day and it was fabulous along with their bacon. They have a nice veggies section as well. If it's only small things you need, this is definitely the place to go. Everyone is always so polite and they now do home deliveries as long as you give them notice. This is a great way to help your local businesses.

The service is always very friendly as well. I almost always leave spending less than I thought I would, whereas Sobeys and Superstore I always end up spending more than I wanted to. Awesome store! Certainly not the same business since being sold several months ago. No select meat display counter any more. A big lack of customer service and during my most recent visit at approx. 4 p.m. Oct.5th, 2021, the cashier farthest from the main door has a personality of a stone. She should be fired ! She was extremely rude with customers. Lots of other places to spend my money, other than this overcrowded market with rude staff.
