Good lunch buffet, pizza, sandwiches, salads etc. Great for a relatively healthy and cheap lunch. With all the business nearby it can get pretty busy at lunch time but there always seems to be fresh food ready. Beside that the produce and meat here is good too, this is one of the better save-on's in the city.

I am pretty irritated with the Save on Foods pharmacy here. I booked an appointment for the flu shot several weeks ago. The time and day I chose was bookable, despite the clinic not having enough vaccines available. Today, when I called to confirm my appointment for tomorrow I was told that it was cancelled due to there being no vaccines in stock. I shouln't have had to call in to find this out with less than 24 hours notice. If you do not have the stock available, do not make the appointment bookable and do not wait so close to the appointment to inform me. I could have booked elsewhere and have gotten it done already. I had other appointments I scheduled for different days to accomodate my flu shot for tomorrow, so this was highly inconvenient. I have had health issues in the past that mean the flu could severly impact me, and I am in contact with others with compromised immune systems, so it is important I get this done ASAP.

The cashier was on his cell, did not acknowledge my presence for a delayed period of time, could not find the code # for the item I wanted to purchase made a feigned attempt to call someone but did not , attempted to look up code and could not find one, asked for assistance and no one came and then just let it go. The manager addressed it by saying he would talk to his entire staff about customer service #FAIL...what about the lazy cashier, his cell phone and latest facebook update, and piss poor service he provided to me? Should I just accept? not impressed at all.....

Security lady was racist and rude, pushed my grandma off her wheelchair and told us to go back to where we came from. (her eyeliner was a mess of abomination, not good for store image) she yelled at my baby that’s quietly asleep in the stroller and spat in my coffee that I was holding. The store is really neat, always fresh produce, grocery, bakery and dairy. Very convenient place to shop, one of the best personell is here, very friendly and helpful! Sometimes promotions are really good deals. However, there are mostly expensive prices for everything compared to Superstore, Walmart, local groceries etc., especially for seafood, households and dairy.

Had a terrible experience with one of their staff named 'Amber'. She was rude and total ignorant. She seemed dozed out. I brought the matter to to the store manager's attention but nothing was done. If you have a keen eye you can some pretty exceptional deals! The instore made food is amazing compared to any other grocery store i have been to. Definfinitely try the wing bar and chicken pot pie, then end it off with a frozen Yogurt for dessert!

All vegetables and fruits are very fresh. Great variety of floral collection. Flowers prices are reasonable. Bakery section is good. Meals collection is very good. Many other grocery products available. There is a Pharmacy section inside this store. Pharmacy hours are Monday to Friday 9 am to 9 pm. Saturday to Sunday 10 am to 6 pm. Store size is big. They maintain selves very tidy and organized. Store is very neat and clean. Very good customer service. Don’t need to wait long time for paying. Lots of underground parking spots available. 45 minutes parking available in main parking lot. Recommend others to try this store.

This Save-On-Foods is by far, my favorite fave to shop in. The reason is, simply because it sells wine, which really saves a lot of time and in this day and age, we seem to.not have a lot of. So, i can pick out what I'd like to make for dinner, then stroll over to their selection of wine, take my time to pick out what kind i feel like having and pay for it along with the rest of my groceries! How civilized is that? I've died and gone to heaven! Hallelujah! It's about time we have this luxury, don't u think? The staff is very helpful and it's laid out very nicely . It's just a very nice place to shop.

People complain about Save-On-Foods in general having very high prices, but comparing the stuff that I usually buy to other grocery stores around the city, and the prices are pretty much on-par, even compared to Wal-Mart. I don't buy super-exotic stuff, maybe that's why. Gets pretty crowded on the first Tuesday of each month but that's because everything is an additional 15% off. Wish they would carry Sodastream products, specifically the syrups!!!

My only complaint is the checkout tills: they usually only have a couple open at a time, and lots of the employees are slow (though they are friendly). This is especially irritating when they put their slowest workers on the "express" line.

This has to be one of the most upscale Save-On-Foods grocery stores in Edmonton. Save-On-Foods is a comprehensive, if a bit expensive, grocery store. While they don't carry everything, they have quite a lot of the foods, toiletries, or pharmacy stuff you may be looking for. The staff are, in my experience, always friendly and happy to help out, which greatly improves the shopping experience. I would rate Save-On-Foods higher, but they tend to be expensive, unless you're a save-on-more cardholder and you only buy stuff on sale, as they attempt to be more upscale. I would prefer if they had prices that could compete with Superstore or other big box grocery stores.

3 stars because the produce section is horrible. I’m not sure if it’s just the times that I go - perhaps I’m just unlucky. The times I’ve been, there has always been very minimal produce out, produce is usually labelled incorrectly or not labelled at all, and the produce is in bad shape. For example, they had a bunch of red onions but all of them had green fuzzy mold on them (this kind of mold will make you sick). Usually red onions may have a tiny bit of mold or minor imperfections, but this was really bad. I’m talking mold that is covering over a quarter of each of the large onions sitting right on top of the pile. I actually told the produce guy (I was polite and discrete about it) but he just looked at me and shrugged. Besides the produce, I find the store’s overall organization to be subpar. That being said, the employees are friendly and usually happy to help - especially at the tills and customer service :) and the prices are generally good. I still shop here, but I never expect to complete my whole list.

This is a 5 star location! When I worked in the area I had lunch here often. The food was always fresh, the staff was always friendly. Whether buying lotto or groceries, or lunch, the experience was always great. Ample parking too! Highly recommended.

The delivery service is very unreliable. Over priced and poor quality BUT getting better (updated). And nice staff and I suspect they are low paid they should be paid more.

One of the grocery managers at this location, I think his name was Chad... was awesome. Another location had the oat coffee creamer I needed but since it was on the bottom of their stock, said to come back tomorrow. This location has the same situation but was able to get to it pretty quickly for me. Which was a godsend because I had none left, and can be a tad...you know... without my coffee.

!! A very poorly managed store. Misleading price marking on the items. I was buying a unit ( frozen butter chicken ) which was discounted @ 4.99 but when I was paying for the unit they said it’s 7.99 saying there are terms n conditions .The supervisor was ineffective n non customer focused in handling the situation ( 7 pm , October 21) MISLEADING Management anti Customer, fooling people in downtown . A NO NO store to visit . Kamloops downtown needs a value grocery store !!!

This is very well stocked store with a good variety of items. I am new to town and it has been nice to be able to just rely on this one store for all our needs. The staff has been really helpful and friendly when needed. Special shout-outs to the chatty cashier from Newfoundland that let me know about the pineapple and lime Crush from the east coast and Jocelyn in pharmacy who was super patient, nice and helpful when I was switching my prescriptions from another pharmacy on a Sunday morning. Since I work from home I don’t get to interact with people in person very often and trips to this store are a highlight of the week.

We decided to try out the new online ordering feature on the Save-On-Foods website. That ordering feature is amazing and it saves so much time just going up to the store parking in the parking lot and it would be brought right out to your car.I will definitely be using this option again as it'll save so much time as I can do all my shopping from home sending the order and then just go pick it up. Instead of having to walk around the store like I usually do for an hour on end. I can continue doing other things well I'm waiting for my order to be shopped for me.

I personally love the way grocery stores, and super markets have evolved into places that are no longer a location of over-powering artificial lighting and slender aisles that don't allow more than one shopping cart or go-cart to access. The softer lit interior, the way the produce and other goods are presented is really attractive and tends to not cause one so much stress when trying to get to the end of their shopping list. This is a great grocery store, one I highly recommend.

I was looking for Winnipeg rye bread they don't have it. Instead I found Nottingham bread bake right there. The price was very good and so was the fresh bread.

Easily the best grocery store in town! Prices can be a bit higher than some places but the service is excellent! Staff are always stocking shelves but make sure to not get in your way. They also know where everything is and are always very friendly! I rarely have to wait more then a few minutes in line and they bag groceries very fast and keep the lines moving. Highly recommend shopping here! I shop here all of the time and have never had a bad experience.

I always enjoy this store. The staff are so friendly and the Manager can regularity be seen greeting customers. The store is clean, organized, and well marked. The grocery pick up service is always on time and well selected. Over the Christmas break, I had my two nieces. We went to buy some snacks. After we had paid For our stuff, a lady from customer service walked over and said “you look like you need something to do tonight” and gave us a cookie decorating kit. I almost cried as I was overwhelmed with her kindness. Thank you. I appreciate the gesture and have always loved the store ????

Especially with Covid they made sure to have as many specials on as possible to help people stretch their dollar even more during this fiasco...that said this store in particular went a little overboard with the strictness and treatment of customers during the pandemic (?)...overbearing, rude, forceful, far many security staff, blaring pa system spraying words of social distancing with threatening over tones "this is NOT a request"...It as so bad, I shopped the Westend location where things were far more "Normal"....

Save On Foods is got Wonderful desserts for Choaclate Pies in Coconut Pies If looking for anything from steaks too pastas you'll love the deli shop as well in cooked foods for fast meals that still taste like fresh homemade salads Greek salads one of mmmn y favs in olives are a great added touch as I mozzarella in croutons for your Cesar salads I love ice cream after a fantastic meal in Chocolate Pie...Trying there cooked chicken wings are yummy !
