Browsed through the store, well stocked, friendly staff navigating me to the right part of the store. I only needed a tire pressure gage and a can of spray lubricant. I made my way up to the counter and was told buy the first gentleman he would be a minute so I proceeded to wait. The next available guy was Joseph, he looked over to the people who just came in and said can I help who's next, I piped up and said yes you can help me. He looks over at me, looks back at the couple who just came in and tells them they will have to wait. I explained to him that I have a shop in Victoria BC and I have an account with the store there and could my account discount be applied here i will pay for them. He said if my store is a corporate store then we don't do that! I wasn't asking him to pay for my parts just wanted a wholesale discount on 2 items. Why should anyone come to your store to get treated like that.

When I entered the store the front to staff noticed me right away and directed me to the back which was on the mark, however when I got to the back parts table to return the multimeter (Which was used once, I'm returning it because I got one for half the price with more features in Edmonton) I stood as the only customer in front of their computers for about 5 minutes and none of them acknowledged me or said they'd be right with me. When the one guy finally went to tend to me, he didn't say hello or show any kind of courtesy. He picked up the multimeter, took it out of the package and said "You know when you return something its supposed to be in resellable conditions" I asked how is it not in sellable Condition and he asks me if I would buy something that's marked up. I look at the multimeter and it's got a small black smudge. So I say okay I'll just wipe it off for you can I have a wipe or tissue? He tells me they don't have wipes. In a giant the nappa store you don't a wipe or tissue, and he tells me to go to the cleaning products Isle. Completely unwilling to provide any customer service experience or any assistance to make my day easier. As a local business owner myself it frustrates me to no end that this level of customer service is accepted. Now I can't say this is a representation of the entire store but I can safely say I will intentionally avoid Joe from now on. He told me that if I bring it back in sellable conditions I won't get any hassle from him. Blows my mind.

The parts counter staff are knowledgeable and helpful. Common parts(pads/rotors/callipers, wheel bearings, alternators, etc...) are usually in stock. Can't ask for more when you're trying to fix a sudden vehicle problem late in the day. It's too bad they close at 6:00 is all, the Mine bus doesn't get a lot us home until 8:00 or later.

Reached 15 minutes before close; either he was very tired or he does not like coloured person. Advice to everybody - Never purchase car battery from them since they do not comply with the warranty period. Negative STAR (if possible).

I own an auto repair business in Edmonton and had a customer who was having issue with their battery at a site about 2.5 hours away from Ft. Mac and 4 hours away from us in Edmonton. With the help of Paramount Parts we made arrangements to have a replacement sent as close to the site as possible to a willing 3rd party so that our customer could pick up and reduce their down time. Brad and the team went above and beyond by being creative and finding solutions for us and our customer. When the temperatures are this low for this long you really need solution orientated support.
