Tried to return an item and was refused by staff due to "smells of gasoline" on the item, which was never worn as it was too small. Other customers could not smell the gasoline, but regardless the staff rudely turn me away and refused to give me any further assistance, nor even an apology. Won't be shopping here again

I always go here for any workplace safety related Personal Protective Equipment, safety boots, hard hats, vests, etc. They have very good collection. Jeans are very good quality and reasonable price. Variety of shoes and clothes are available. I also look for sale price. Sometimes they have very good sale. This shop is located downtown close to other shops and grocery stores. Store size is big. They always keep stuff organized. Store is very neat and clean. Very good customer service. Staffs are very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Lots of parking space including para parking. Recommend others to try this store.

Mark's claims to be focused on men's and women's workwear but I have never been able to find anything aside from the most meager selection and sizes of womens heavy duty work clothes and PPE. I know that I am not the only woman in industry searching for work clothes that they can try on and purchase on site, just like all men are able to do. Mark's should be embarrassed for making this claim.

Compared to their old Totem Mall location this location is much nicer, and larger. The layout is similar but with more space. The Staff is great and friendly, They are always serving with a smile, and in most cases are able to help you with all your safety clothing needs. Also the staff is very knowledgeable as well

Horrible customer service. The employees talk very unprofessional about their coworkers and the job. Especially the manager and Patrick. Everytime I've been here they have no idea about their sales, policies, and returns. It's always a complete joke compared to other Mark's which have always been a delight. I'd rather order online or pay any other work stores extra just to avoid this place of chaos. There's only one girl in the whole store that always comes to save the day with her professionalism and knowledge of the job and unfortunately she isn't the manager.

Went in asking for help with work safety shoes. Asked for help the clerk pointed in a general direction. And went back to pricing. I would not recommend and certainly will not shop at any Marks again. I would rather pay more and give my money to Marks.

Very dissapointed. Bought a pair of carhartt pants that the sales lady sold me on claiming good quality and after wearing them for a week they split at the thigh. Thinking this must have been a flaw in the product I brought them back. The same lady that sold me on them told me that I could not return them as that was simply overuse. In my opinion any pant that gets worn out in a week in the office is a very poor quality product. I'm gonna stick to Costco from here on. Thanks for the eye opener marks!

Really nice store but i had a really bad customer experience last might. Sales person was very rude. I bought some work clothes earlier in the morning and later the same day i decided to return some of them because it was not a good fit for the job. I also forgot to use my Marks discount card so when i asked her if I could use it later she said with an attitude "No! The sale is done! You cant use your discount card after the sale is close!" I told her if that's the case i coming tomorrow morning and return everything i bought thr previous day($550 clothing) and buy it again with the discount card... It makes no sense!

New store opened. Was looking for a spring jacket, couldn't find my size in any jacket. Could not find any one to help me so stood in line to ask the cashier if the had my size in store. Was glancing around and noticed 3 young ladies leaning on clothes racks having a gossip. Left the lineup, approached them and sure enough all 3 worked in store. Not one employee asked if I needed any assistance. And they wonder why we shop online and not local.

Note: This is not a review of this particular store, but Mark's online store. On black friday, I purchased multiple items. Over the next few days I received multiple emails saying each of my items is now out of stock and cannot be fulfilled. This is very unacceptable for a company of the size and standard of Marks. Gave customer service a call, and was spoken to very rudely about there being no guarantee that the order would be fulfilled. What is the point of advertising an online store if you cannot purchase something without going to a store to 100% make sure you get it. Very disappointed that they did not honour their commitment once an item was bought. Will not be purchasing from them in the future.

Went in needing some work boots. Not one sales person asked if I needed a hand. I tried on a ton and was in there for a while. Not one person helped me. Very poor service.

Was planning to buy new pair of boots and socks which is supposed to be 30% off & 7.50 for 2 respectively. Apparently, the cashier did not know this and punched in the original SRP which was fine. However, once I said that the socks were 2 for 7.50, the staff basically didn't believe me and I had to go back and reassure to her that it is indeed at that price. Fine. Then, they tried changing it in the till to reflect said amount which took about 3 people to do it and I had to wait in line for 20 minutes. The "supervisor" then came and asked the cashier again infront of me if she was sure that it was really at a discounted rate. That's when I walked out. Instead of them finishing a customer's transaction, they were so fixated on adjusting the discounts on the till. PS: they could've just removed the 2nd pair of socks to which they already charged me 7.50 for the 1st quantity. But they had to fix their inventory infront of a long line of customers.
