This place just recently opened so they're still working on decorating the place but it's worth checking out. They don't have a lot of seating right now but you can always get take-out. I recommend the Porchetta sandwich and Kale salad.

Shawn has catered three events for us. They have all been spectacular. I first discovered Your Farm Gate accidently when they were located in St Catharines. What a find!. Not only is the food unique, creative, and fresh, but also Shawn and Shelley are two of the nicest and most genuine people you will ever meet. Their beef brisket, mojo sauce and their roasted vegetables are some of my favorite foods on this planet. Their food philosophy from Farm to Table is brilliant. I cannot recommend this wonderful company to you enough.

Shawn, the owner of the location puts in work. Nothing else to say about that, the amount of hard work, effort, and knowledge that this shops been built on is really refreshing to see in Niagara. Sean was very willing to share information on multiple different cuts of meat with a smile and banter. Overall the best experience I've had shopping for meats. First time visiting Farm Gate will not be the last. Last night we made bone soup fantastic for a starter for tonight. Tonight we had beef ribs, I never have had beef melt in mouth before what a sensation. My wife is a fantastic cook and her cooking just kicked up a notch.

I do enjoy the food here, but I put in a special order to have a meal prepared for my daughter’s birthday, and when I arrived nothing was prepared. The employees had no clue to expect me. They called the owner and tried to piece together my order with cold food in the fridge that’s available for anyone to grab to purchase, but I was expecting to receive hot and prepared food to serve my guests. I also confirmed this 2 days prior and tried to call numerous time prior to driving there to avoid wasting my time after 2 other companies also dropped the ball on me the same day.

we made our first stop here this morning after I made a facebook post looking for recommendations for a Steak. not just any steak, but a STEAK. the owner Shawn had commented on my post with some pretty important information and he was quite knowledgeable! we popped by this morning to pick it out and the meat case was beautifully stocked with various kinds of meats. the lady behind the counter was so kind and told us the story of their business and what they had to offer. we chose a gorgeous ribeye with beautiful marbling and we picked up some other goodies as well! this place was already pretty busy considering they had just opened about 15 minutes prior to us going in. every person there was incredibly kind and helpful and we left with a a bag full of fresh local food. we will ABSOLUTELY be returning and I cant wait to see what their barbeques are like!

Your Farm Gate catered my wedding and it is the best decision I could have made. Shawn was helpful, accommodating and honest when putting together my menu. He asked me what I wanted and gave recommendations based on what is seasonal and fresh. The meat was cooked to perfection and my grandmother asked for the recipe for his beet salad. Our late night snack was some of the best pizza I have ever had. I love that Shawn uses locally farmed meats and grows most of his own produce. All of my foodie guests gushed over how nice it was to have something they could actually enjoy at a wedding. We loved the meat so much, we drove an hour and a half to get more from Shawn's shop a week later. Hire Shawn and have your guests ask for seconds or thirds.

Just had one of Shawn's new sandwiches, the vegan one. Oh my!!!!! Absolutely delicious!!!!! Just the right amount of spice and the flavor combination entices you to wanting more. Layer upon layer of goodness with his homemade bread as the vehicle for all this goodness.

I bought a lasagna and chicken enchiladas and I and my family found both dishes awful. The lasagna smelled like rotten beef and just all around horrible tasting. My husband eats everything and definitely couldn't eat either dish.... was not very happy. The prices were ridiculous for the size and the taste moreless topped it off.... will not buy from there again
