Leaving a review based on my Covid-19 experience here. This store is offering customized produce boxes on their website, for contactless curbside pickup. When we went to pick up out order, the staff was very friendly and gave us the opportunity to do any additional add-ons, even showing us what was good and fresh. We were happy with the quality and value. Appreciate their efforts to keep their staff and the public safe during this strange time.

Very excited to see this store got an online ordering and contactless pick up system going. I put my order in late the night before and it was ready for pickup at 10am the next day. Looks like you can place a while you wait order as well. My produce was really good too - excellent asparagus and berries! Kudos to this store for getting the contactless system up and running so fast!

The store has a good selection of fruits and vegetables, and the prices are fairly reasonable. Sometimes you may come across old vegetables but that's always the risk when shopping for fruits and vegetables. In my experience, I wasn't impressed by the quality of corncobs, but in overall it is a good store.

The small local produce store has everything I need for cooking all sort of cruisines, a great wide selection for organic and non organic fruits and veggies. The price is very reasonable compared to the big supermarkets yet they carry the same products. Considering the size of the store, it is a very busy store. The best part of it is, the store opens for long hrs and on holidays, so those days when you cooking for family and forget some key ingredients, I can visit the store and get them, which helps me to put smile faces on my family.

While they have an excellent variety of organic produce, I find they are sometimes very rude to customers as well as regularly overcharging at checkout. They do not not voluntarily give you a receipt, and so you have to carefully watch to make sure the correct prices are being punched into the cash register.

I am certain they over charge at checkout. Hard to actually tell since they do not give receipts with their purchase. They do not properly show their units either. Their prices are per pound (which is illegal, prices may be shown per pound, but they MUST have a kilogram price) Also, when you pay for produce, they weigh by kilogram and manually type in the numbers into the cash register. All very convoluded if you ask me.

Rude cashiers, dirty store, all around terrible service. Worst of all, substandard produce. I returned produce that I found to be spoiled when I got it home. Cashier yelled at me for not eating it fast enough - in front of an audience. Not learning my lesson, I continued to buy here only to find a good 30% of what I brought home was inedible. One star for convenience - and because I can't leave 0 stars...

Drove a friend here last weekend as this is her favorite place for fresh fruit and vegetables so it was a first time for me. Would definitely go back. Produce was fresh, incredibly well-priced, and most important to me, they had some organics that were excellent quality and super cheap so stocked up! Great spot.

This is a true gem in the 6 points area. Produce is consistently cheaper and fresher than any neighboring large grocer. I think they're part of the Chinese produce circuit. Complaints in the reviews largely seem to be from people who want to pay a premium for atmosphere and service and are sad because nobody smiled at them while they paid half the price for local tomatoes.

This small grocery store has everything you need for simple meals: fruits, veggies, eggs and tofu! However, if you are looking for other basic grocery items like spices, oils, baking etc it would be best to go somewhere else. The prices are also very reasonable.

Good value if you shop carefully. Often cheaper than Loblaws. Good quality produce, never disappointed. The only issue is sometimes there is a huge lineup and too bad they don't have a second cash register because some people just look in, see the lineup and leave, which is a shame really.

Love this place so much. Fresh produce at great prices. I do hope they’ll let people into the store again soon. The online ordering system is very limited as there is no option to order loose items (you can only order baskets) and it’s very slow ordering at the counter.

I love this store! A great variety of both organic and non-organic veggies and fruit. Really fresh and low prices! Hard working personnel, I don't think they're rude. The reason why I rate it 4 instead of 5 stars: the aisles are rather narrow and you can't pay by credit card.

I love this local produce store, been coming here for years through rains and shine. Love the quality of the foods they put on shelves and the pricing. Appreciate the owner took the liberty of closing its store and remodel the business to protect the community! I miss the store and can't wait until they open again on Apr 6.

This place needs to government inspection. They never provide receipts and the receipts dont have the product next to the unit line items. This makes it impossible for shoppers to know how much was actually charged. At the same time it makes it very easy for the cashier to make a "mistake" and over charge you by accident. If your going here to save a few extra dollars you might be actually losing money if you shop often enough. Many people have reported being over charged. My advice if you do go here do buy too many items as it will be impossible to cross reference what was charged or go to cash knowing exactly how much each item weighs and is expected to cost you. In my opinion this store is deliberately over charging customers.

Been coming here for years they vegetables are great unfortunately the lady behind the counter is not that friendly very abrupt and treated me like I was a three year old child, I will not be attending the store ever again. Trying to support all the local smaller stores however it's not working out with this store

This is my favourite grocer, hands down. They are always stocked, have the best prices, and have great customer service (respectful, responsible, and they let me return later in the day to pay once when I forgot my wallet). Furthermore, a hot tip if you like mushrooms, this is your spot! Freshest, cheapest whole, loose mushrooms you can find. They used to have paper bags to collect them (which was great) but now they have plastic (which is not ideal). Really though, we as customers should be bringing our own bags anyway so this is mute. I am really proud of how VF Produce has implemented curb side pickup and their online ordering system so quickly and SO WELL. Their online ordering system is a dream (easy to use, simple) especially compared to the nightmare processes that other large companies have implemented. Thank you for your work Valley Farm Produce! I really appreciate you.

We go to this store at least once a week. There is a nice selection of organic and conventional produce; both are usually cheaper than Metro. The items are usually priced to encourage buying multiples - e.g. strawberries are $2 a pint or 2 for $3. It's a good deal if you use the strawberries; it's a rotten deal if they, well, rot. The closer the item is to its shelf life's end, the cheaper it will be. The store is not for the faint of heart! The store staff try to salvage as much as possible - picking out spoiled spinach leaves out of a bunch and repackaging the rest, cutting off the blackened spots on cauliflower, cutting up peppers that are starting to go soft into stir-fry strips, but they do not conceal this. This obviously comes as a shock to consumers who are used to the stores where even slightly blemished produce is discarded. However, if you know what to look for in your fruits and vegetables and have the flexibility to live with peaches if grapes are not the greatest this week, you can buy lots of wonderful produce cheaply.

I find the produce to be old and spoils very quickly. Also, be careful at the check out , I have been over charged on 3 occasions. Be sure to ask for the receipt otherwise they never give it to you and know how much your groceries should be before checking out. I will not be returning, 3 strikes and your out!

Check what you’re being charged!! The prices they list are never what you end up paying because the lady cashing you out will ALWAYS add a few dollars here and there. She immediately throws your receipt in the trash and when I finally asked for it, she just shook her head like she couldn’t understand what I was asking for. Never giving them a dollar again.

I used to be a regular customer here. NO MORE. My purchase was around $2.50, but the guy at the cash said "$4.50". It seemed that there was a language barrier because he then showed me that my bill was the correct amount. I actually said "sorry, I misunderstood." He and the other cashier turn extremely rude and called me "CHEAP" as I walked out the door. What the hell????

The females working there are OK but the guys are awfully rude. When they come with their carts filled with produce you have to move right away otherwise they will barge through the customers without saying a word. They do not know the words: excuse me or sorry. I remove obstacles from their way yet I do not hear thank you or at least some smile or any acknowledgement at all. It is as if the customer does not exist. I do not think that they speak any English although they should know at least these 2 words. They never smile or look at you. I guess this is how they were brought up. They are probably from some small village in China so in a way they do not know any better. But still they should learn the basics of human interactions when in Canada.

Fresh and cheap! They have a section of organic produce too that keeps me coming back. I still have to go to Planet Organic for other items that are not available here but if I can find it at Valley Farm, I save on grocery bills. Store is very small and tight though so you have to wriggle your way through the isles. The cashier can be loud which may seem as rudeness to some but it’s culural so be more open minded and understanding. She’s really nice once you get to know her.

Dirty place, no receipts. They sort out the rotten lettuce leaves in their spare time, so that they can sell. Chinese don't respect any health regulations, dirty fridges, dirty floor. Avoid at all cost.
