Used to be great but as other user said, everything goes bad fast. Selection is very limited too. They need to get they’re act together.

They have some of the freshest fruit, vegetables, and berries of the best quality. The kind of place that remembers you, even if it’s been a long time, since you last paid a visit. Sometimes overshadowed by the Metro - but this is the place you want to come first. There’s a reason they’re able to compete against a big company. You can sometimes find rare/ hard to find seasonal veg and herbs like fiddleheads, and always Ontario produce - at a reasonable price. If not Ontario/Canadian produce, all their produce is marked with place of origin. Of course they’re looking to sell you produce, but are never pushy about it. Like a farmers market, every day of the week. A trusted source for fruit and veggies.

We moved to the area just over 2 years ago and the fruits and veggies were incredible (and cheap). Far superior to your local grocery stores. The market was always full of customers and line ups at the cash. I don't know what happened, but this year everything we bought rots in 2 days (or already comes half rotten), the prices have slightly increased and the line ups are gone. I sincerely hope Royal York Fruit Market goes back to selling the great produce they used to.

Came from Oakville to visit a relative. I dropped by this place as I was in the area. I picked up $20 worth of blue berries and black berries in baskets. Little did I know the owners had placed a few good berries on top of the bad berries underneath to make it appear as if they were all fresh and a great deal. What a joke! Never returning. That’s for sure. GARBAGE!
