You have the feddbacks of real people who are consuming the products of Loblaws (Fruit Store) around Etobicoke area (Canada).
At this moment the firm has a rating of 4.2 out of 5 and this rating was based on 127 reviews.
You must have seen that it has an average rating is good, and it's founded on a high number of scores, so we may say that the score is very accurate. If people have bothered to leave their feddback when they've done well, it works.
You know that we do not usually stop to put evaluations when these are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Fruit Store is included in the category of Grocery store.
Great selection.
Updated Review: This Loblaws is still consistently clean. It has more T&T supermarket items since joining the roster. (Although their ready-to-eat items is really overpriced). This location is very spacious and doesn't feel too crammed and well distanced and labeled. Review from 5 years ago: It used to be a 24 hrs Loblaws, but due to revamping designs and a Metro close by (at Cloverdale and 24 hrs), it's now open till 11pm only. There's also a Joe Fresh located in one of North West section of this Loblaws as well! This is one of the first Loblaws with beer and alcohol located near the Candy aisle. The decor of this Loblaws is nice, clean and organized. The self-serve and assisted checkouts are well organized. The staff is super helpful!
I have a lobster bisque this week and was Delicious!!
Found lots of new gluten free items in the frozen section. Some quick meals for the microwave.
Good grocery store, neat and clean. Fresh produce, great selection. Flowers selection in-store and Gardening Center with seasonal plants. Coffee and pastries, sushi and freshly cooked soup and etc. Joe Fresh store with good kids clothes, men and women Apparel.
Ok usual good quality clean store. Most thing more expensive than can be bought at other local stores. You pay for the ambience.
Good store but they don't always have fresh produce
Full service supermarket, high price, but that's understood. Beer and wine as nice sale.
Positive: I like the freshness of the produce and meat. There is an appetizing display of cakes and dessserts at the entrance. Lineups are never long at this location. The store is clean and well designed, occasionally featuring live music. They also sell beer and wine which is very convenient. Overall, this place feels upscale. Negative: There are never baskets by the entrance, I always have to go get one from the checkout area. There are also very few small carts ( the yellow ones). I usually don't buy very much, and don't need the big carts. For some strange reason there is poor reception at the back of the store (near the meat dept.).
Lots of products. Everything is easy to find. Very clean. Love this place.
Ordered birthday cake advance 48 hrs. Was not completely ready. Had to wait. On top of that cream used was not fresh and tase was different. That was strawberry short cake and i m regular user and know the taste of this cake very well.
Clean and well stocked all the time. Quick self checkout for easy shopping
This I really good loblaws. It has a wide variety of products generally not available at other stores. Nice and clean store with courteous staff. There isn't much wait time here. It is not a busy place where you have to be in line to checkout. Self checkout is also there. Free parking is available as well. Order online and pickup facility is also available at this store. Quick and hassle free. There is a fee for that though, around $5 but its worth the time you save.
Nice store. Little beat price but good groceries.
This is my go to loblaws. Has great selections, is clean. Is a huge store and the cashier are always so sweet!
Pike place roasted coffee enjoyed inside at Starbucks remarkable have to get another, soon!
Aaron is the best employee ever ! ????????????
Love it....
Always lang wait times for the cash registers, even with a few customers, expensive veggies
Very very pricey. $8 for a chicken cesaer with 2 small pieces of chicken. If you have lots if money for groceries then you will love this place....even has a starbucks inside the grocery store which should tell you everything about the demographic this is going for. Food basics a bit further south is cheaper.
Lots of great high end stuff especially meats and cheeses make this my go to place for entertaining supplies but way to pricy to do my weekly shopping.
Their vision department is pretty useless. I went in to discuss a manufacturing flaw in some glasses I purchased from the same company but a different location. The guy said he wouldn't help with the process and told us to go back to the store we purchased the glasses from. He also said that we are very busy and he can't help us. And when we said, "just say you don't want to help us" he simply replied, "okay bye." Keep in mind, there was only one other customer in the store and he was being helped by the other lady... The vision center was much better when Mithra used to work here
Updated review: This store has real issues when it comes to fresh produce and the bakery department. It's hit and miss on any given day what they'll have in stock. This past Thursday, no celery. Other days, no mushrooms. Breads are a mixed bag on a good day. The store is bright and fresh and mostly enjoyable to shop through. But that entire side of the store needs better management. One of the nicest Loblaws stores in the city. Recently renovated, big and spacious, great fish, sushi, cheese, deli, bakery and sweet treat counters.
Love this supermarket. Great produce...every thing looks fresh. Last time I was there, the manager came up to me and brought me a basket to put my food in as he noticed from a distance that I was juggling a couple of items in my arms. Definitely one of my favourite grocery stores.
Very clean,organized..and covid ready
Usually quick fully stocked
Big store, lots of variety
Very clean store that gives off a high end vibe. They have a very big floral section, and staff are always polite and friendly. They also have a large bakery with a huge variety of cakes and baked goods.
I really love the selection at this Loblaws! I personally enjoy the wide range of cheeses and now that they sell wine and beer here the two go hand in hand! Check out is generally fast and staff are friendly and helpful.
Very high end lablaws, and I thought they were all the same..... Not the case, this location caters to high end foods. Wagyu Steaks, large organic section, meat, fish and deli amazing. And you can purchase alcohol beverages 7 days a week until 11pm, is that crazy or what? Haha I know.
Over priced sourdough bread
Perfect for shopping all ingredients for a great dish
Quality food but ok products. Items like pairing knives have already been destroyed only after less than a year
This Loblaws is great, huge and with so many different options of food to choose. We moved to this area recently and I can tell this place is the best Loblaws I've been in the GTA. I am happy and glad because I found my Activia Yogurt (Pear flavour) as this is very rare to find in any grocery... and I found it there. I am so glad I live near by...
Premium grocery store and good quality products. There's an All Womens Gym, Joe Fresh and a variety of alcoholic beverages from beers to wines. But take note that you can only buy alcohol Mon-Sat until 11pm and Sundays until 6pm. ???????? They also have self checkouts.
Great shopping experience... Very fresh and unique food products. Great prepared food items. But prices are very high so it's a trade off ... Personally I rarely shop here because my grocery bill can easily be double here compared to budget grocery stores... On the other hand some of the food options at Loblaws are premium items that can only be found here.
Good stuff, good service, large park place, clean washroom ... Also, you can check your Blood Pressure, Weight and Body Fat % independently and free of cost. ????
Nice and clean. A bit of a line up for a cashier; not for self-service.
Love it there. They always have the fruits I'm looking for.
Other than price, this store has it. Great selection of: products; fresh produce; meat, deli, and fish counters; bakery; organic; home and more.
Clean and organized
Looks great now after renovation. Easy to find everything. My only negative view of the store is: before had a lot more of international fruits and vegetable section now all this was converted to food to go counters. Otherwise should get a 5 stars.
There is a live band playing soft music every weekend now. Cafe is now on the ground level. Very enjoyable grocery shopping experience.
I had someone by the name of Jane help me out with some last minute purchases of balloons, and I’m so happy she went out of her way to help even though they were pretty much closed at that point. I had to surprise a friend last minute and it made the night that much better! It’s always a pleasure going into this loblaws!
I've been shopping at this store for over a decade. It's large. It's clean. Very well managed and stocked. Don't be surprised to walk in on a Saturday and feel like at a fair with bands playing live music and employees giving out freebies.
Great Loblaws! Tons of parking!! Exceptional amount of services, from cooking classes and online grocery services to a pharmacy and med clinic, this is more than a grocery store for the neighborhood.
I visited recently to pick up some lunch and a few essentials. The way that cashier queues were set up ensured the store felt more crowded than it was and blocked off access to many aisles and the Joe Fresh area. The hot deli area serves fresh and tasty food as always.
Great store, regularly looks really clean, looks modern and nice, food I've never had a problem with. Only had an encounter with rude staff once but even then I think this is a great store. 5 Stars. Also the discount section is regularly good for food expiring soon. Would recommend checking it.
Fantastic location, great produce, and selections for food.
Can you please stop hiding all of the small yellow and orange carts? Sometimes they're all stacked on the second floor near the bathrooms and other times they're just missing completely. I hate prowling around the parking lot waiting for someone to leave one in a cart corral so I can take it.
Gotta give credit where credit is due! Loblaws improved the self-checkout experience in two ways - first they improved the interface from way back when I first complained about it, second, they very recently increased the number of self checkouts. It makse grabbing lunch or doing a quick shop a breeze! Areas for improvement - now that the self-checkout is expanded and flowing quickly - get rid of the checkout at the hot foods area to speed up service (the people behind the counter are bogged down by that cash register) and from a product choice standpoint - can we see stuff less with canola oil and more with ACTUAL olive oil? Things like Hummus, tzatziki, breads, etc, etc.
Lots of variety but usually long lines unless you do self serve. Olga in the wine section is wonderful!
Place is always clean and they have the freshest produce ever. Their prices are premium comparing to other grocery stores but when it comes to beef, chicken or fish, theirs is second to none
Busy line up at cash point. Nit recommended
Generally well stocked. But entrances aren't labelled for controlled entrance due to current pandemic
Larger food store where you are assured good products, not necessarily at lower prices, in a clean environment. Usually a pleasant experience. Parking always busy but available. Sanitizer available.
A a very good big store but I always find it a bit pricey,
It's a good, big grocery. It has most everything you need. Ethnic foods section could be better, but it serves the local area pretty well. There are never any baskets or small shopping carts which is my knock against this location.
Clean store. PC products never fail me. I took the PC cooking class and loved it. Got great cooking tips whole trying a tasty meal and new PC products. Can't go wrong with Loblaws' their products or their cooking classes.
Amazing shopping experience
Had a mishap in the grocery line...the cap of detergent came off and spilled over my new coat. Management and head office was excellent and went above and beyond to ensure my coat was looked after. Great service!
This Loblaws is nice and has lots of space and light. They bring music on weekends making shopping more enjoyable.
Loblaws is huge. The store is massive and you will always find what you are looking for as it is jammed packed with just about everything you can think of. They have a fresh meat counter, fresh bakery counter, a clothing section, and I was pleasantly surprised when I found a Pattisere section with all kinds of specialty desserts. The prices here are probably what keep me from shopping here on a continuous basis.
Loved it as always
Huge selection of fruits and vegetables, groceries and ready to eat meals. There is a small area upstairs where you can bring a snack or a meal ready to eat that can be prepared for you right at the store.
Great "50% off" deals on a regular basis.
This is where we have been getting all our birthday cakes from but for the past month all our cakes we've ordered have been overlooked/wrong/items missing etc. Feb 9 picked up a cake we ordered, We asked for balloons but got no balloons so half the cake had nothing. When asked what happened they said balloons were not asked. So we asked for them to place some balloons and they brushed it off and said were to busy. Another cake this week was a special order. Went to the bakery to pick a design and they said there was no room in the top to put the words happy birthday. Not the case when we picked it up there was plenty of space they also said there was to be a image on top DID NOT HAPPEN again. We are very disappointed
Always have a great experience here, its a full 1-stop-shop. They also sell alcohol here
Great experience shopping here ! Very clean, well stocked and organized. Friendly staff and fresh food and vegetables. They also have good deals !
I love loblaws!! I go there all the time! It’s near my house but anytime I’ve gone to another grocery store I’ve missed loblaws. Love how clean and organised it is with the best stuff. I also love the flowers here
Friendly staff and well stocked.
Great selection of produce. Can't get enough of their $5 chicken & wedge boxes ????????????
Good place. It's a pity that organic cream and sour cream are not always available.
Just like my disappointment at the Fortinos at 700 Lawrence Avenue West Does Loblaws did not have the large Farmers Market Belgium chocolate cake It didn't have any of the farmers chocolate cake not the big ones Only the teeny tiny ones Again another disappointment Two days in a row!!!
Lots of fresh food, always clean. Line ups not too long. This store always has what I need.
I'm addicted to PC optimum points, so maybe I don't have the best judgement, but I'm always satisfied with my options and finds at this store, from gluten-free and dairy-free products for my partner to junk food finds, like hello PC Babyback BBQ Chips! Also best prepared and hot food section of any grocery I've been too except to Wholefoods. The only thing I don't like about this location is the live music they sometimes have can be too loud.
Place was super clean and very organized. They have dry agged beef, I am definitely going back!
Clean and friendly place.
Can I give ZERO stars? The WORST. Tried again such a joke, lack lustre produce and Wednesday afternoon long line up around the store? Guess they don’t want us back. Long time shopper, I'm done here. Very uninspiring. Can't compare to the prepared foods, fruits, meats and bakery at Fortinos. Same old, same old.
Ahmmmm, it’s a Loblaws store.... selection average, prices average, everything average....
Always have fresh products. I love theyrir 50% off clearnace rack ????
Great place for everything. Good prices, spacious parking lot
A good grocery store, amazing foods. Wedges are probably my most favourite.
If you can't find it, you don't need it. Great butcher cuts, and a fantastic deli and produce section. It's pricier than No Frills, but if you need it good, and you need it now, they have it. Joe Fresh has great kids clothes at a great price.
Huge store. Great location, open late (11PM). They sell beer, wine and cider which is always a plus. Great selection of vegan alternative foods, too!
Good selection of salads to go. But kombacha selection poor and split into two locations in the store.
Cafe Sushi Salads Soups fresh squeezed juices Beer along with superb produce. Looove this place.
Go-to place for anything... The cosmetic options are great.. and the ho s essentials section. Is cute too
Clean spacious products are easy to find laid out properly check out made easy good service ????
My favourite neighborhood grocery store
Aisles are well spaced, and has a good selection of brands and items
This is one of a hand full of upscale community Loblaws corporate stores. One would understand the image this store has to project.
Veggies are often mislabeled as to country of origin. Price labeling sometimes missing. Great meat counter. Helpful butchers.
Great and fresh produce. Never disappointed and if I were to have an issue they would exchange the product.
Great location with a very decent selection of fresh bread, deli meat and cheese. On a more not so great note, the cash out process is extremely slow. On multiple occasions I have waited 10 plus minutes to check out, one a busy Friday night not all lanes are open
Just looking at the picture makes me hungry. Honestly grocery shopping is one of my favourite hobbies. Do it all right here.
There for propane, waited a bit.. service ladies are great
Absolute favorite supermarket, the store is very clean and organized with friendly staff to assist. It has the hot plate areas for food (as does other loblaws) and butcher areas for other needs. Store takes PC points which is perfect so you cna combine it with your optimum points while getting some cash back.
Love this place. Everything under one roof. Best part - they have a home section which is updated as the seasons change. They also have culinary classes and a good life to shed all those extra calories.
Renovations look great. But you'll pay a pretty penny for the more enjoyable shopping experience. Great selection of cheese and prepared foods.
Great shape well run.
Has everything and always a wonderful experience thanks. Large and always stocked full of anything and everything you want. Thanks for your service even in Covid times.
The best grocery franchise. This location is huge and extremely clean!
Unlike a lot of places I've been recently, there's always someone at the self checkout to clean it immediately in between each customer. And they're always really good with exchanging items of there's something wrong.
Nice store Seems to be not too busy Good pricing or fair
This is my go-to grocery store. It has everything, including prepared hot food, a huge cheese section, a fancy bakery, wine, and beer.
Cashiers don't bag groceries, decor needs sunglasses (orange floors). Lots of space, lots of "stuff" but losing substance since Dave left.
This is my neighborhood grocer. Every Saturday and Sunday morning you can spot me at Starbucks which is located inside the store. Lots of fresh produce, fruits, vegetables, sushi bar,hot and delicious dinners to take out and beautiful fresh pizza straight from the oven is waiting. Bakery offers delicious cakes and amazing flavors of breads. Fish department carry the most amazing fresh fish. And stuff is very helpful and friendly.
Well stocked, well organized, not the cheapest, good selection. Close to main roads.
Love shopping here. From the selection to the staff, I always have a good experience at this store. Reccomend
This loblaws is a disaster! They are consistently out of stock on key items from my list, they regularly have to substitute about 10% of my online click & collect order, a lot of their produce is heavily picked over, their staff seem extremely overworked and the store is always so jam packed with shoppers on the weekend it's hard to get around. I've tried it out on 6 different ocassions and won't be going back.
Huge store starbucks inside is very convenient.
Very big store, with a huge variety of stuff (as expected) and very polite staff. Lots of parking space and really close to the highway. Overall, a great store.
Beautiful store but things are a bit pricey. Can get things for several dollars less at Metro with similar quality with the exception of fresh fish. Great selection of fish and very clean
Great Place - good selection, reasonably priced and close for Mississauga area. Click and Collect could use some improvement with staff caring about packaging and making sure all items are bagged but still better than walmart
Well kept store. Has an excellent variety of things. Love their Joe's clothing section and presidents choice kitchen stuff
Poor customer service, however it is a clean atmosphere. The food bar has very limited options and all of the choices are unhealthy. There really should be more of a HEALTHIER variety rather than just the fried foods.
Literally the worst shopping experience I have had in a long time. Four cashier's open 40-50 customers just waiting to pay.... PAY PEOPLE TO WORK we already overpay to have the privilege of shopping at this place, the least you could do is put some of that profit back into the community by hiring PEOPLE
I like the layout of this store. The prognosis is always fresh. The prices are somewhat reasonable. But I primarily shop here for their specials. Or for those Specialty Foods.
Wide variety of food and best quality at reasonably priced. Highly recommended
Oh man. I stopped here to grab a few things one afternoon. It’s a beautiful store. But there’s something about the people who shop there. You may run into an entitled senior who will sneer at you if you push your cart too close to them. Also lots of pretentious yuppie types who just couldn’t make it to Whole Foods that day. I seemed like I was just in the way of these people. I think I ruined one guys day because I was standing in front of something he needed to grab off the shelf, and I couldn’t move out of his way quick enough. Staff were friendly enough and the selection of wine was great. Also a decent joe fresh clothing section. I’ll be back, and I hope I’m not an inconvenience to any fellow shoppers next time.
I come here all the time. I don't know how to review a grocery store but it's clean, everyone is helpful and the food is always good!
Well stocked, clean and high quality produce and butcher. Pricier than other grocery stores but I always find what I need.
All good no issues
Regularly see people shopping and working here without a mask.
Huge selection of fresh foods, staff are friendly and helpful. Really good HMR department.
Nice big store. Very pricey.
Top notch products
There eat tonight reduced good are great quality
Still expect more organic veggies, grass feed meat, milk... more local fruit. In the meantime I'll be shopping somewhere else.
Great store clean and they have the shelves well stocked
I like buying from this Loblaws, everything is perfectly located in its own place! ????????
Nice store
Beware of the newest scam from the Loblaw organization. After being caught price gouging trusting customers for bread, they are now partnering with a company named Costway (one of their many “Loblaw Sellers”) where they ship large items direct to home. In my vain attempt to return the item a week later, Loblaws claims they have no record of the item and there is nothing they can do. This is despite me showing the receipt and the order number with their name on it. Even when I log into my President’s Choice account and show them all the information from my purchase they say “sorry, there is nothing we can do”. Shameful , and very concerning for a Canadian organization. They are adopting an Amazon approach to selling, but they don’t have the infrastructure in place to make it successful.
Clean newly renovated Loblaws store. Pharmacy, bakery, flower ???? shop, patisserie and ???? selection of organic ????????????????, ???????????????????? and dairy. This store now sells ???? and ????! Very well run flower ???? ???? shop sells impressive ????. Lines move fast, and there are several self pay terminals. Open late, always lots of parking. Wheelchair accessible. Customer washroom on the second floor is well maintained. Free WiFi in the story but it works poorly : (
BY FAR THE BEST LOBLAWS. I came here hoping that they ran out of food and they did! Amazing to see everything empty, it shows that this place is legit and I’m high demand. I hope I can come here soon and grab their premium meats. The only thing they had were Pogo sticks which was a steal! Will be coming back again!
Checkout lineup took 30 minutes on a Tuesday at 11:30 a.m.! If this was one time I wouldn't mind but somehow this store has had, over and over again, by far the worst cash-register-to-customer ratio of any I've visited (other Loblaws included) during COVID. I was 30 minutes in lineup yesterday. This is just the worst of many long waits to checkout I've experienced here over the past year, so it's clear they don't intend to do better. I won't be back until the pandemic's over, for sure.
Store hours are stated as 7am - 11pm, yet the store is closed at 10pm. Thanks for nothing Loblaws.
Very nicely organized
PC Express curbside pickup very good, about 10 min wait after arrival.
Has pretty good hot food selection for a quick dinner option. Groceries are little pricier compared to other chain but quality is generally better.
I love that I can walk in and find endless meal on the go. There is so much healthy choices and it tastes so good. I love finding interesting things to try. This is the store that inspires you to cook something gourmet for dinner. It's set up like a boutique. The produce always looks perfect. The prices are not too bad. Sometimes I go in the last hours to find sandwiches and other things at half price. I load up on sandwiches and meals for the next few lunches and dinners. I only wish that the grocery stores gave more optimum points, especially depending on the amount spent.
Awesome vireity
This location is my favorite grocery store, amazing quality of meats, cheese and fruits. Creative spiced and marinated meats, can't help trying something new everytime. It's more expensive then other markets...but you already knew that
You'll find literally anything you need there. And also a great place to work at
Not too busy... No line ups!!
Alot of fresh produce was on sale today. Took home some fruit salad and pie crust to try out the YouTube recipes I have been eyeing for this coming holiday.
Solid location with wonderful selections and produce. Only a 4 based on the Carlton location being a 5 with its extra selection a d specialty items.
The best and the closest. We love to shop here. Highly recommended it
This Loblaws store (intersection The East Mall/Burnhamthorpe) is only 5 minutes walking from my workplace. Fruits and vegetables are fresh and their prices are relatively high. They have fresh cooked meals, fresh grilled chicken, bakery, floral, pharmacy and Joe Fresh corner. There are shelves selling discounted vegetables/fruits and others such as candies, chocolates etc. They also have self checkout machines.
The food is good but need check receipt before left , it was happened 2 times they charged me triple price and they returned my money back when I asked for check it.
The produce here is often hit or miss but overall the food is great and the service is quick. Shopping here is a pleasure
The best supermarket in town! Wide choice of bread and large organic offer. Cooking a school and yoga fitness centre on the second floor!
Great place to order sandwich platters for parties or any occasion when hosting a large number of people!
Would give 5 stars if not for the price on some items being almost double what I'd get at NoFrills. I guess that's the price one pays for the shopping experience and greater selection.
Huge store! Very clean and organized. Shelves are always stocked, I always find what I need. There are always good deals. This is the best Loblaws store I have been to. Always have a great experience when I drop by!
Starbucks within the store was a treat
There is Sturback coffee ♥️ very nice place for groceries shopping ????
Why are none of the people that are preparing food wearing face masks. They are breathing on the food. I went into Loblaws to the deli counter - no face mask. Went in a couple days later - no face mask. They are wearing gloves but touching the food and everything else with the same gloves. This is my favourite grocery chain! Very disappointed in the response to COVID-19 and I do not feel safe buying my prepared foods there any longer.
Beautiful store. I really enjoy shopping here especially for pastry treats
I still can't forgive Galin Weston for becoming so much richer, but refusing to pay his workers $2 more an hour! I shop her only of necessity, not loyalty!
Where to start ? Probably one of the nicest Loblaws stores in Toronto. The produce section is usually good. They also some stuff from T&T, which is a added plus. The rest of the store is good. Great selection of frozen foods. This one has a seafood section, that is small but good. The one downside is the Joe Fresh department, it is not huge and there is not a selection of clothes. Easy access from lslingtion station if you don't drive via the 50 bus line, just exit at East Mall.
Prices are inflated to an unbelievable level. I would understand the argument of this being a higher class store if they sold items that are unique only to them. However, they sell the exact same stuff that you can purchase for half the price at your local no frills. If you are seeking fair prices then avoid this store like a placue and go to metro and no frills instead.
Good place but the isles can be tight and they are frequently out of things I need like coffee creamer, cheeses, and some breads. So I need to come back other days to get them.
It's a good store and it has a lot of good offers, but I mostly go their for groceries????
I've been shopping at this grocery store for over 20 years. In that time, I've seen it transform in various ways. The current state in 2021 is: Pro's: - The meat is of good quality when stocked. - The dry goods section has a decent selection. - The store is generally clean and well maintained with the exception of the carts. - The bakery section is well stocked and for the most part the baked goods are very fresh. Con's: - Almost everything in the store is 2 to 3 times more expensive than any grocery store you'll ever shop at. A can of frozen juice at Highland Farms for example will be $0.89 to $1.25 where this store will outright rip you off at $2.50 or higher. - If you buy produce at this store, even though it's twice as expensive as anywhere else, the lifespan of this produce will be measured in days. Everything is on the verge of spoiling when you buy it. Peppers are wrinkled, green onions may last a few days at best. I'd recommend buying produce literally anywhere but here. - Deli meat has a very small selection and is astronomically more expensive than anywhere else for exactly the same product. - Seafood looks to be of good quality, but the prices are so high it's not worth buying here. You can get better quality for less elsewhere. - The shopping carts may have been maintained once in the past 20 years. Where they were fantastic years ago, now most have broken wheels / make crazy noise or don't push straight. They've fallen into disrepair. - It's not uncommon to see 2-3 cash open with a massive line of customers snaking through the store trying to check out. For such an expensive grocery store this is unacceptable. Recommendation: If you live in the neighborhood, this grocery store is worthwhile if you need something quick for that day. It's a good place to buy raw meat. If you're buying groceries weekly, it's cheaper to drive ALL THE WAY TO MISSISSAUGA and buy all your produce at Highland Farms on Hurontario. The produce is 100% better, and will last weeks longer for half the price or less.
Service was professional, polite, considerate staff. Although the line ups were long, there were exceptions made for those, that needed service 1st and foremost. Covid 19 precautions were enforced and respected.
My go to grocery store! Well stocked and pretty much have everything that I need-meat, delis, seafood, veggies, and JOE FRESH!
My favourite place for grocery. I do most of my shopping here. It is usually not that crowded and this is one the many reasons i go there.
One of the best Grocery store in GTA. I love to visit it.
Big, clean quality food retailer offering a large variety of food. Fresh produce, meat, seafood and bakery items are available here. Also of course serving a great variety of standard grocery, dairy and organic foods. Hot and frozen foods as well as a selection of beer and wine are available at this location. Party room and cooking school also available at this location.
Each time I deal with this location I have issues. I’ve been using PC Express and it is terrible, they substitute items with very expensive alternatives. They claim to not have half the items they allow me to order online. It took over 2 hours to get my order once I arrived at the location. I went in to shop in store to get the items they missed (defeating the purpose of PC express) and they had all the items in stock they said they didn’t. Will never use again, and don’t recommend to anyone.
Good variety. Mostly fresh. Surprised the fresh bagels I bought started to grow mould after 2 days.
Awesome place to shop! A wide selection of freshest fruits, vegetables and meats. And I mean actually fresh. Their baking section is fully stocked with many options of baked products, personally madeleines are my favorite, they don’t get much better. Courteous staff and short lines. Would shop here again and again!
Our first time here and I have to say this is a amazing store. Its bright open lots of parking and super clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful too. There is a great selection of fresh vegetables meats bakery sushi and a starbucks. They even carry wine and beer. We will definitely be coming back to shop here.
Get store with good selection; often very busy! Has public bathrooms !
They don't have New York cheesecake that's freshly baked ..
Loblaws supermarket is my go-to-place for fresh food and household items! I like the fact that the items are nicely arranged in the shelves and hence easy to pick!
Good choice
People need to stop comparing the prices here to No Frills or Freshco. This is isn't just a grocery store, shopping here is an experience. Live band on weekends, lots of selection and friendly knowledgeable staff.
Loved it.
Safety protocols are in place so make sure you wear your face covering. Good variety of product and service is good.
Great selection.
This place is awesome and food is great! You can find pretty much anything.
Great place to shop, they also have beer. Organic veg are a bit overpriced, and the pastry section is understaffed and seems like a hassle for anything you ask.
this place is amazing and has everything you could ever need and more
Love the quick pick up.. took a whole 5 min
Friendly and great customer service, always been able to find what I need
Joe Fresh- new winter fashion is out for all...Christmas gift boxes- cookies etc. are all there for your gourmet god or goddess ! Get creative!
Products and Prices often don't match IF there is a Price on the shelf at all - if there isn't a price you have to try to find someone to get it for you. Additionally if my corner Korean Grocer can charge less for Terra Beets and Sweets you know that Loblaws has been overcharging for more than just bread for a long time #shamefulbehaviour
Good place with better options!
Everyone who works here is particularly on vacation. The service is so unbelievably slow. The deli, oh my God! I stood there for what felt like an hour while they were not busy, only to get told "I thought you were being served "
Excellent collection of cheese
This location is the best I've EVER seen. Even though one of the ceiling fans has 2 bent blades, it is SUPER good.
The selections are nice, and they sell pre-made meals that are decently priced, and surprisingly good quality. There's tons of available parking and there's really nothing to complain about.
I like the cleanliness and size of the place, but the prices tend to be high (although sale items are usually fine). I would rather shop at one of the other Loblaws brand stores (typically No frills). Has the same feel as Real Canadian Superstore. A little more upscale than Fortinos and definitely nicer than Valumart. They do have a very large selection of products and some services the other stores lack.
Great location, well stocked and friendly staff. A bit of a line up to cash out but a digital screen directed cued shoppers where to check out. Self checkout options were very quick with little to no lineups.
Always get the best deals here
I was there yesterday and saw a woman and a guide dog in training refused in the store when I was in line. Why? When did that policy change ? Does the security company not know it’s against the law to refuse a guide dog in a store in Ontario? Just wanted you to be aware of it. The woman decided to go somewhere else and not bother with loblaws. Good for her. She was frustrated since other places have refused her. Did something change here?
Bought all 7 boxes of TRIX cereal for my daughter in nfld was hard to find Thanks will buy more soon
Excellent store. I just love to shop there.... Great service, high quality of products, and beautiful appearance inside.????
Great grocery place. Decent prices. Everywhere is pretty much the same. I just find the meat to be better quality at loblaws. I also like their gluten free options.
Best place for grocery shopping
Even though everything is upside down these days, Loblaws made my trip enjoyable, from 2 metres away. I felt as comfortable as possible and welcome. The staff here is excellent. I said to my cashier "thank you for coming in today" These are trying times and we all appreciate their service.
A little more expensive than other grocery stores, but good selection and a clean, well-organized, well-stocked location.
Could be a 5 star shopping experience if it weren’t for some managerial staff. Mornings the place is massively understaffed and the customer service area managers surely do not attend any csr trainings. Carlos, being dismissive is in no training manuals.
Love this place
This store does not close at 12, it closes at 11. So do not waste your time. I went in at 11:10, doors were open, walked in and got yelled by a cashier 'get out we're closed.' I was so confused because there were cashiers. I thought it was a joke. So I left and got locked in then had to go back in to ask to be let out and still got yelled "we're closed!!".. I just wanted to get out at that point..
The acoustics of this store are horrible. They play loud bad music constantly, make intrusive announcements all the time, and the soundscape is just atrocious. Especially in November and December with the Christmas assault it is simply intolerable.
Great store, clean, well stocked and great, friendly staff. AND they social distance!
Great selections, excellent sales hours of operations is convenient
Very clean and lots of high-end variety. Sometimes their produce looks better than it tastes, but the overall quality is good.
If they don't have it here...... You Don't Need It !! ????????
Nice selection of stuff. Good if they r on sale and additionally u r a PC Optimum member. Otherwise the prices r very high. Some cooked food options r really nice but pricier.
Great, clean, has everything.
Love this store. Just wish there was one closer to home
They had the product I was looking for after searching in several other Loblaws or No Frills.
The BEST grocery store that exists. It's a tad pricey but they always have EVERYTHING. It's always worth the price to me to get it all done in one trip or not have to sacrifice. I know my grocery bill will be high when I leave here. But I will leave here with everything I need.
Hands down the worst grocery store in the area. The staff are incredibly rude and miserable. I have given this store SO many chances but I cannot continue to shop in this mediocre store.
Nice huge store a lot of choice of fresh food flowers floor there’s already prepare food. Clothes shoe Sammer season.
This place literally you will get everything u want. Thats why I love to shop here and for staff we have 10% discount so I'm pretty much enjoying ????.
I really like this particular Loblaws. It is always well stocked and clean. They feature competitive pricing and have a fantastic selection. Honestly, you can't go wrong shopping here. I highly recommend visiting this location.
This place is huge. Got everything I needed and more.
This place is nice and big. Love no lineups
Its really nice and big store
Huge selections, wish there were more on produces. Since Good life female fitness and JoeFresh also there, it's very convenient for me to do one stop for all, after my gym. Very happy with the locations, services and delicious options of their offers. Love it!
Good produce and meat selections. Generally fresh and lasts awhile. The bakery treats section is in the worst spot (the entrance) for sweet lovers with no self control. Shelves are generally stocked well. My biggest complaint in the food locations change more frequently than I'd like so I need to relearn where to find things. Click and collect is available at this location and is a pretty cool service.
Very friendly and helpful staff at this location.
Nice store. Clean, nice and big too! Lots of parking. And super convenient too, right off the 427 at burnamthorpe! AND you gotta love the president's choice PRODUCTS! They're just awesome! And unique too. Some of their products you can't find anywhere else! And or the other products, much better pricing than name brand products!
Used to be a good selection of products but the layout is so disorganized. There was toilet paper in two aisles and the dog food was across from the sugar. Been like this for weeks now. Edit: now they're layout has stabilized but I actually came back to write another review because they have so many items on their shelves that are expired. You need to check every single product before you buy it because even long shelf life items could be expired.
This location of Loblaws just located north of Bloor on the East wall is one of the nicer more spaces designed locations, just mind your manners please because Loblaws gets crazy.???? There are always exceptional items here and great quality meat plus hard-working employees. Myself I have worked in the grocery industry several times and can speak from experience when I tell you that it is important to give people the best Price's by remembering not to waste food by leaving it everywhere around the store. There are many wonderful people in this world who deserve to eat and Loblaws is often full of customers who have more money and the prices might be a little bit more but that's part of the experience of shopping you get what you pay for. ???? so please be considerate of others when you go shopping and try to be aware of others around you and use your manners so that everybody including the employees can have a decent shopping experience. Make sure to check out some yummy snacks, but no matter what time of year please have good taste when you come to the grocery store and use your manners and don't forget your Optimum. ????????????????????
Very clean and well kept store. I like that they have a prepared food section. I usually get vegetarian sushi which is good, but not all that cheap. On a side note they sell beer here - although I do not drink, I figure it is useful information.
Always clean, products are very selected, and the same products that are sold in other stores, here have quality.
A premium super market with long line ups, you charge a premium for all the groceries you sell yet you never have enough cashiers working always a line up, check your pricing alot of things are marked up because this is a fancy supermarket. Besides this major flaw it is a nice super market with great selection.
Very inefficient way to check out customers ... both cashier and self checkouts lines start at the back of the store (during non-peak times). Stock low for certain goods as somebody else mentioned.
The parking lot is horrible. All kinds of spaces blocked off. Inside the store was very clean displays were well kept. Then it came to the cashiers. Very miserable cashiers. Could even crack a smile or acknowledged that you were there. Other than do you have a card. Do you want a bag. Then I had to watch a cashier in the next lane arguing with a customer. The supervisor needs much more training to handle a situation like that. She allowed the cashier to continue to berate the customer.
????
always clean and open
Flyer items constantly out of stock! Check-out lines are insanely long.
Good store, clean and spacious. I like the fact that they have a Joe Fresh section as well as the beer/wine section in the store. Saves time, not having to go elsewhere for essentials.
A clean and well organized location with lots of variety of cooked and raw foods. Lots of great Gluten Free and Lactose free selections - they have a Gluten and Lactose free pizza - and it wasn't bad...well...I mean compared to what we expected it to taste like - it wasn't bad. Prices are as expected (high prices) for a location that has 24/7 service.
Closes at 11pm. This Loblaws is mostly fine. I didn't like when they had padded bras displayed in the toddler girls' section (under a big sign saying 'Girls 2-5' - who the heck thinks 5-year-old girls should be wearing padded bras?), and in the summer the bakery section is crawling with fruit flies, but every Loblaws has issues. What's been more inconvenient to me is that all the info online says this store is open til midnight, but it closes at 11pm.
I found the store not as good as the Loblaws in Port Credit
Great location, great selection Be ready for long wait times at the checkout, any time of day.
Great, clean store. Convenient services like dry cleaning also located on site. Solid four if not five. BUT I have to give this place a three for produce that's been lacking in selection recently. Also, the fresh chicken or beef section is often half empty. I know they have more in the back because I ask and they are always helpful and happy to grab what I need from the back. But for premium price that is being asked, can't the store have the stock regularly checked and restocked? Will change if they pick up their restock game.
1 of the better Loblaw out there. Clean bright friendly staff great management team
Very big store some good deals and prices. Very clean lots to choose from
Fantastic selection of fresh fruits, vegatables, and meats! You may pay a little more than a normal grocery store, but you get great quality food. Simple as that.
Great store with great convenient hours lots of variety but can be costly on goods. They also have Joe Fresh brand whose goods still use child labour.
Lots of options ....great shopping covid 19 friendly
This is very nice, tidy super market. You will find alot of varieties of vegetables, fruits and bakeries. I usually buy most of groceries from it. I highly recommend it
This Loblaws has been renovated a while ago, and it does feel nicer to shop in there afterwards, and very often on the weekends they have live music performance as well to make your grocery shopping more interesting which I like a lot. They have pretty much everything we need for daily grocery including some of the most popular beers so it's quite convenient for us to go there for one stop shopping. The only thing I hope they can improve is their bread which can't compare with what you can get from those independent bakeries, which is probably a good thing in a way I guess, so we have to support the local bakeries.
Great selection of foods. Big and spacious grocery store. There is a prepared foods section, which includes cheese and meats.
Always clean good values
It is a beautiful store full of beautiful fresh meats vegetables and milk by-products. I go there also for my pastries when I have a special evening planned. They are so diverse and I always have plenty to choose from!
Excellent service from the cake/pastry counter staff. Easy checkout and short lines on a Saturday evening.
Fresh groceries, amazing selection, clean and well stocked, just need help on where to start! There is a Deli, Fish, and Cheese counter with huge selection and the baked good section alone is the size of a bake shop. Very friendly and helpful staff. Only down side is it's on the pricier side, but you pay for what you get.
Best service in the world . I highly recommend.
If you're super hungry and only up for quick break, you'll starve to death.
Be careful of the multi 'deals' very deceptive marketing practices. Although I wasn’t specifically looking for them, I saw a few like this where the everyday low price is cheaper than the multi buy.
Great store for groceries and prepared food, lots of parking
Ordered food and it was old. Asked the person for assistance and the person went on and on. Workers need to be trained better on how to deal with customers
I like this store. The only complaint I have is when the pharmacy closes they lock up most of the medications including tylenol and gravol. I needed it for my daughter and husband since they were sick and had to go elsewhere. Not a great idea as they lost a few customers that I could see. But otherwise they usually have what I need.
Great selection of produce and cheese! The seafood section has always disappointed when it comes to fresh seafood (clams, mussels, oysters etc). All Lanes are open on weekends so shopping trips don't have too long of a wait.
They have good freshly made sandwiches there
I absolutely love Loblaws. You are guaranteed to have the same experience no matter which Loblaws you go to. There is always a very good selection of food. Good is always fresh. Staff is professional. The locations are always excellent. Never an issues finding parking. The staff handled Covidbvery well. I always felt safe in any Loblaws I went to. Also, there is never an issue returning items.
Good store but people here have know idea about social distancing
Nice selection. Beautiful bakery. Like the Joe fresh section
I am a CONSTRUCTION worker..j came in to find a salad and water...i was treated like a leper with a n96mask on...never again
Awesome store but the parking lot and property is covered with garbage and grocery bags. Very disappointing
Loblaw always is a great place to shop especially the Produce dept. Have you tried the Pomello.
great service
Beautiful store, amazing staff , outstanding product
Great selection. Love the bakery! The fruits and vegetables are always fresh.
I'm in love with the BBQ wings they got here.
Absolutely everything one may need and more. This store caters to a diverse population and they have something for everyone. Very handy tables on the first floor if you want to buy something at the hot buffet counter and eat it leisurely there. Lots of choices at the deli, in-house Bakery, patisserie, flower shop. A one-stop place for all your needs.
Nice store. I like how they play live music on the weekend. Very good meat and a decent fish section.
Good experience, very clean and has everything, a bit on the expensive side
Great selection and layout of the store.
This is the Loblaws we've been going to for 10years. Can't go wrong with free parking within the city. You get to take your time not having to worry about having too many bags to walk home with. They're fruit selection is really good as well, they get really nice foreign items, but you gotta know how to tell they're good because sometimes they'll sit there for a bit longer.
So good to see all our favorite in one place..
Unorganized. Cluttered. Stressful. Confusing. Cramped. Multiple isles where you can find the same item. But it's not consistent every time. No organic section for produce. Staff seem unhappy. Cashiers area is the worst. It's not clear where customers should start lining up. Seems the store needs a new management.
Very Clean Experience. I went in there with a few friends. When we asked for help, it came a bit late, and a lot of people where unsure of what was and wasn't on sale. But i assume its because it was near closing. Either way, it is a large store, with clean looking atmosphere. I recommend it.
I gave 5 stars before but lately I am disappointed with the online service. At the beginning they were charging me $0 then $3 so I understood they have more expenses but now $5 ??? I haven't been getting points and it doesn't give a reasonable option when I am making the list on their website that it's slow too. Other thing, they don't add all the products in that list. Oh well...
This location never has any black little baskets to take for convenience. Yellow carts are a hot commodity here since they're smaller and of course, never any left. Stay away from this location on weekends and after 5 pm weekdays. Extremely packed. Meats, deli and cheeses are really overpriced. Joe fresh customer service is non-existent and if someone is present there you get the feeling you're being a bother. I would rather shop elsewhere. Joe fresh section customer associates should be monitored for giving attitude to customers for no reason. It would nice to hear "hi how are you" once in awhile.
Love this store. Wish it were closer. Their hot table is the best. I come here mainly for the stuff that metro doesn't sell.
Good place for all your home needs.
Clean & friendly in store. Too many customer throwing used gloves & masks in the parking lot. Shame people litter in there own neighborhood.
Good assortment of vegan products, wish they would add more!
Very neat and clean place
My favorite Loblaws
Has a lot of vegan options, however they are constantly changing. Cell reception is very limited in the store. Prices are definitely higher, but that’s expected from a higher class store.
Great supermarket, fresh fruits and veggies. Great selection of baked goods. We love to buy cakes from here they are good quality. This is our first choice for chicken wings, the hot foods section, honey garlic, bbq, sweet Chili a must try! My daughter also loved the Mac n cheese offered in the hot foods section. There’s a seafood section, flower section which a wide variety of plants/flowers. And the Joe fresh has great clothes for kids. This is a pricey supermarket compared to others. Also the only downfall is the toilets in the washroom don’t flush properly but other than that it’s a great place. There’s also a gym and a cooking class offered in this space.
The display on Thanksgiving weekend was fabulous
Great Service. Everything I needed. One star removed because no Caribbean section.
Groceries? They got em! A little pricier than say ur corner Rabba but ykno it's a living! get ur groceries here!
Omg this grocery story is tops, flower n cake section is amazing. Go to place to parties because they have amazing fruit n snack trays
Nice grocery store with varieties to choose. But it is pricy compared to others. So if you don't mind the price and it is for you, otherwise you may go to other stores for inexpensive food.
Friendly and responsible staffs Clean and big branch Parking lot Good customer service Good location
Loved it. A great shopping experience.
Clean and organized.
good stuff: Steak (dry cured, and wayugi. duck and goose fat sold here), wide selection of cheeses; wide selection of olive oil, specialty oils, vinegars and salad dressings. Its particularly annoying that there are rarely any price tags on anything Produce, bread and other: average products at premium prices. Please clean your tongs in the bulk donut/baked goods section
Close to home. Has everything you need
This is not my usual store and this place had everything I needed. I spent a lot of time in the flower shop and the ladies there were so helpful and friendly. Beautiful flowers!
Expensive but great quality, specialty items, and selection.
Great experience. Very clean and everyone is respecting health rules. Make sure you guys advise your employees to be careful when taking back shopping carts at the end of the day. No cars want to get dented.
I LOVE this Loblaws. I pre-order my Daughters BIRTHDAY CAKE there each year because the Bakery is Fantastic and I find their cake prices very reasonable. I also love this particular location because it has a "JOE FRESH" Clothing department inside the store.
its, loblows ...a grocery store.. although I dont understand how store work till 10pm meat department till 8pm... service there...slow and not that pleasent
Loblaws in general is usually fairly good. Pricing can be a little higher at times, but at least for baby supplies they have pretty decent pricing in my opinion. My issue with this location is the hot food area. They dont have hours (that I could find anywhere, not even the website)and it seems as if they come and go as they please. I went in today and no one was there. I asked a cashier about it and they said someone should be there, when I said I was waiting and no one showed up, they said "oh they probably closed already". From my understanding loblaws closes at 11, so I'm not sure why they closed so early, nearly 2 hours early, mind you. I'm definitely not impressed.
Extremely helpful staff. Clear and logical location of the departments, constant throughout all the years I've been shopping here.
Clean store. Great selection.
The service is smooth and straight forward. Maryan was helpful with bagging my items and providing excellent customer service regarding PC Optimum and took the time to answer all of my questions. Would come again !
I wish I could say it was great but the truth is (in my experience) that 1. They’re always out of things that are on my list and 2. The produce is usually out of stock or bruised. I really wish they’d expand their plant based/vegan options. #govegan
Even though store looks nice and clean, food is not fresh. Free run eggs, organic greens, Saputo provolone cheese (vacuum sealed), organic rainbow trout fish (37$/kilo), chicken (Blue Goose) - different issues - past or nearing best before date, foul smell etc. Got stomach problems after eating their stuff. 50% of what I bought is going to garbage, unfortunately.
Run well during covid but customers are a bit insane.????
It's much more pricey than No Frills for the same things. Like the commercial says, you're paying for professionally stacked fruit and vegetables and annoying music that overrides the in-house music going on at the same time on the weekends. They do have items that you can't get anywhere else I agree but their costs are higher to facilitate the Frills which you don't need when you go to No Frills.
Clean and fresh a bit pricey but they have liqueur as well
Love this store! Great choice of groceries.
Waited 25 mins in line to pay. Horrific.
Great selection of just about everything. Produce is always fresh, bakery counter is amazing. Always a wide variety of cheese
Best quality products and services of any store
Well laid out, clean and a lot of vegan alternatives available.
Great store, clean and well stocked.
Great shopping
Good selection but please, why is your fresh bakery section open with no cover. Obviously this makes the buns stale much quicker...I don't understand the logic.
Has wonderful people working there. This store has everything your looking for . Thank you and stay safe ❤️
Good location. Joe fresh quality has gone down hill while prices have gone up. They need better clearance
Huge line with two cashiers. This happens all the time.
Big store and easy to navigate
Going during covid, there are good precautionary measures in place.
Wide range of services. Excellent specialty cheese and meat selections. Home decor section often has many great deals. Joe Fresh section is not the best as there are limited selections and not the most helpful staff in that area.
Fabulous store. Excellent selection. Fresh produce. Giid service.
Excellent choice in the bakery department, meat, produce and groceries. Very reasonably priced. Very clean and well organized store.
Good selection and fresh produce but VERY expensive.
My favourite grocery store in Etobicoke...has everything I need and closeby...
Great selection!
Good food
Very rich store Nice corporation Seems like a white store
Love this location. I could spend all my money here on fancy cheeses and meats. They carry a wide selection PC black lab products and premium cured meats and cheeses.
I used to shop at this location because of the organic meat and organic produce. I cooked two organic steaks past weekend and found it had gone bad and went to the store for return. Is my fault that I lost the receipt and I got a big surprise from the Customer Service. That guy gave me a very bad attitude and implied I lied . He kept saying that were not two packages of meat and I should kept the receipt. I felt really bad and humiliated. Store manager seems bias and cannot handle situation professionally. Not going back there for sure and found other stores in the same area with much better services and product selection with better value.
Beautiful spot to shop.
Nice clean store great selection and great service
Always spotless, always great service and always best selection.
Always find what I need but people that work there aren't always helpful if needed
Love this place. Clean, organized, almost always in stock. Know your prices though. Staff.. not so friendly or courteous.
The worst, disorganized system for paying It takes longer to wait in line for the cashier than to get the groceries. ????
It has everything I would expect from a grocery store and more. Fantastic cheese selection. Nice that they sell beer and wine too. I like that the lines are never too long.
Good selection of foods including specific fruits and veggies not found at other grocery stores. Prices are 10 percent higher than no Frills but better selection There is a Joe Fresh at this location too with great deals on children's clothing !
Great location. Very clean and a lot of variety of products
Fast check out customer service is bad. I encountered the customer service staff name MARISSA. She is so unpleasant and not accommodating at all. I ask for assistance for a discounted item. She gave me a cold shoulder, cut eye, expecting customers how to do it. Her statement was "This is a self serve so you should know how to do it." A total reverse from a young customer service staff whom I encountered on Saturday, she is so sweet and very helpful. I wish I got her name.
Alexis at customer service is the sweetest girl! Thank you to her for making the adjustment on my purchase!
Clean place, well organized and we can get good sales.
Lovely but expensive good coffee
Really helpful staff quick to answer any questions you might have. Was confused about how to find a couple specific grocery items but they were able to pinpoint the exact location of small items with ease. Doesn't get particularly busy either. 5 stars.
This is my favourite Loblaws location in the GTA. It is enormous and has absolutely everything that you want including wine and beer. The specialty departments are simply amazing such as the bakery, cheeses, and meats. PC Optimum points are by far the best points program in the grocery business.
For quick pick ups, I always grab the family size pack of chicken tenders at the hot food area. Something like 15 enormous tenders and two sides for $25. Same deal at Fortino's further down on Hwy 27 goes for $40+
While it is a nice place appearence wise they need lots of work on their pricing; it is quite a bit more expensive than surrounding stores. As well they need to actually remove spoiled/expired items instead of just leaving them on the shelf and hope no one notices. I've seen products still on the shelf 6+ months past their expiration.
They always have a great bakery section. Great produce.
Wide selection of fresh produce
They really have their act together! I was very impressed by how organized and calm the staff are during this very difficult time. My stress level dropped 10 fold when I saw all the measures that they recently implemented to protect the customers and cashiers from spreading germs. Bravo Loblaws!
This is the premium grocery store for the neighborhood. It has higher end items and more overall variety. This includes many prepared food options if you are looking for a quick bite. It's also a great option for last second cakes and pastries. The checkout lines are also shorter than the other local stores and it's very clean. All this comes at a price premium compared to the nearby ultra-cheap grocery stores but the Loblaws stands out in terms of all the other criteria.
Big place, poor cel reception near the deli counter(where I waited for 5 mins!) and they don’t price match since it’s a “signature store” not sure what that means... except I paid more to shop there for the same goods.
Love this Loblaws. It’s clean and has a variety of options! Can be pricey but I do love my optimum points
Close to home. Beer store. Wine rack.
Always very clean and with everything going on these days they make grocery shopping easy! Also the customer service counter is always very helpful
This Loblaws looks great, is clean/stocked & has a good variety to shop (alcohol too) I come here for produce & the organic/health isles. The only issue I have is that the fresh veggies are not always stocked. I shop at lunch/early afternoon & end up getting half of my veggies here & then have to get the rest at the Kipling/Queensway Sobeys. Alfalfa/Broccoli Sprouts & other organic options arent always stocked when I come in. Free parking (lots of it) They have a bunch of hot & cold items for take out as well.
I liked it very much. Everything was neat and tidy. The seller's attitude was great. The environment was good for shopping. The prices were also good.
This is my 2nd time coming in this week that came to scenes like this. Looked like there was a zombie apocalypse that happened and all food has been wiped out. It’s horrible! Took us a while to find someone on the floor and they said they will page someone to come help us, but we waited 10 mins in the produce area and no one came. Oh... and I came to buy ginger here 3 times and every time it’s moldy!!!!! Waste of time. The manager at this location needs to do something about it.
Great looking store and the display of the products are inviting to p8.
Love this store, very clean, large selection of products. Check outs are usually pretty fast as well.
I like this Loblaws. This location sells alcohol and all lanes open on weekend during prime hours. The lineups are never insane here. They generally have everything you need. However, they do occasionally seem to sell out of popular products during busy times. They are in a plaza with a restaurant and a bank across the parking lot.
Mostly a great place to shop, but I have a few issues with the place. Produce is very hit-and-miss, as sometimes they have really great quality stuff, and other times not so much. They also tend to run out of certain things- as an example, they completely ran out of regular bananas, and there was no way I was going to shell out for their "organic" bananas. Another issue is the layout. Some aisles have a post right in the middle, so that its a tight fit if you're pushing a cart; other aisles have a pillar awkwardly to one side so that if there's another person just ahead, you can't get past them at all. And if they are looking at something, then you feel guilty having to push past them. And then there's the perimeter of the store where they'll have sample stations that totally block a throughway, so again, if people are stopping to pick up meat, and they leave their carts out, it's very difficult if not impossible to get around.
Great store - so much to see and beautifully maintained.
Always so clean and organized in this store.
Big Store - sort of like Costco - go in for one thing come out with a cart full. Lots to choose from. Just wish they had a better selection of fruits and vegetables.
My go to grocery store, plus you can get some cool Joe Fresh clothing
They've got everything I need, even with all of my dietary restrictions ❤
Fresh food. Nice place
Our favourite loblaws. The staff is friendly and helpful.
Nice store
I was about to get a job here but didn't because I was offered a better pay job. Other than that loblaws has been renovated over the years and looks absolutely flawless. Not going to lie but there gelato's are extremely expensive!
layout for this supermarket is very enticing. I really like the fruit and veggie section
Love, shopping there. Really great experience in costumer services. Food very good quality for your money.
If you are Asian cooking shopping this is a great place to go for both cooking equipment, wares and ingredients as well as a good selection of fresh produce. The store is a pretty decent size and the staff are friendly and will help you find things if you ask as it can be a difficult store to navigate purely based on the diverse selection of products you see everywhere. I spent several hours going through all the interesting stuff they had. And walked out happily with my bags filled so obviously it suited all my needs at the time. I would definitely recommend this store to anyone who cooks and enjoys Asian cuisine because this place has you covered for Japanese, Chinese both modern and traditional ingredients and foods, as well as Vietnamese, Thai and Korean foods and ingredients. Check it out if that's your thing. ????????????
Great service and selection, a little bit on the pricey side on some products.
Happy with express service.
Good experience, lines move very quickly.
This is a lovely Loblaw's. It is easy to geti in and out and the parking lot has ample parking. I also like that there is a TD Bank in the same lot and some other restaurant options. From what I can see this location is also strict about keeping people safe. Employees and customers are using masks.
Had everything I needed including dog food hard to find.
Jerry at the Wine Shop is a star! Appreciate the genuine recommendations!
Good, big and convenient supermarket. Some fabulous, fast and efficient cashiers here.
Love the wall of cheese! Large variety of unique pre made foods and fresh salads and fruits. Never been disappointed.
Love to visit this Loblaws. Very organized and clean place to shop. Curtious staff
Very boutique little sections inside making it feel very upscale...with some matching prices
Lots to choose from. Clean and inviting.
Well organized by the Management and took good care during these Challenging Days!
Good quality, selection and no big lineup at check out, have enough Cashiers.
All you can expect from a good store
Fresh fruits and vegetables. Great selections of tasty bread and cheese. Take out foods if you are in a hurry and/or no time to cook dinner (or lunch) after work. Cakes n pastry. And wine n beer.
Can always find what I need
Great products, friendly staff.
Always super clean
this store has lost its flame from a few years back... used to have a lot of special items. I even found authentic A5 kobe there a few times. Now barely better than average Sobeys.
Costumer service here is the worst. Waiting for someone to show up at fish station for 15min. Asking another person to page someone, says he cant help me. Guy finally shows up from who knows where, serving me without gloves or even washing his hands. I ask him to wash his hands before he touches my food , he look at like I am from another planet. I used to like shopping here but not anymore.
Always a pleasant experience. The store is kept clean, ample parking, great selection on produce and products. Friendly cashiers.
Best customer service and excellent advicer too... rahma in cake section ❤️
Great staff at the meal area. I can almost always find what I need here. Definitely a bit pricier than other stores, but you can complain when you get an amazing deal, which happens often. Their drinking glass wear is worth taking a look at. Their kitchen utility area over all is worth taking a look at. Constantly having amazing deals there. The over all staff are friendly, and the managers always go above and beyond to help.
Apart from constantly re-merchandising the store, leading to confusion as to where to find products (things get moved as frequently as every two weeks), this is among the cleanest and well kept Loblaws I've shopped at. It's very popular and very busy because it serves a large residential area. It is usually well stocked and laid out. The produce is moderately above average, and the different departments are average to above average in terms of quality, presentation, and availability. Prices at Loblaws are higher than average but the loyalty program and the experience of shopping in a well presented market offset this somewhat.
It is good place for fresh fruits and vegetables. But you can not always find what you are looking for particularly if you are interested in organic foods, articles without preservatives, wild fish and so..
Ok place check the expiry dates
Gino the store Manager was very helpful and understanding when I had a concern. I was ready to leave Loblaws for good but Gino has restored my faith with his attention to detail and compassion. Excellent customer service!
We ate at the restaurant. It can sometimes be challenging to find a seat but we were lucky. A little hidden gem. Great, simple food.
Awesome selection! Great customer service! Better hours than the LCBO and Beer Store!????
There is an Asian lady working at the self checkout and every time I'm there she always comes and stands next to me pretending she's doing something but I can see her watching me scan the items and she's looking if I'm gonna steal something. Makes me feel so uncomfortable and embarrassed. Loblaws if you don't want certain races buying at your stores just let us know, we'll go somewhere else.
Never had an issue here!
Prepared food section is amazing. I got sushi, Greek salad, watermelon and iced tea. Was tempted for BBQ chicken and potatoe wedges. Colossal variety
I placed an order 24 hrs in advance. Pick up time was 11:30 Then they email me at 11:23 “items unavailable”!!! I have a memorial just in a few minutes and left whit no food. Thanks Loblaws east mall never again.
Fruit and vegetables are alwash very fresh. K recommended this place to all my friends.
Clean, well organized, a little on the high end of things but great selections. Loblaws...can't go wrong.
The prices are abit steep considering you can go to no frills and get the same products for far less, But! The meat and cheese counter offer great selection, in house dry aged beef, good dairy options and a decent dry goods section. There seems to be a focus on ontario products which I really appreciate, local small dairy and meat suppliers are supported. Local flours and a great ontario craft beer and wine section. I think it's great the a large company is supporting small businesses that would otherwise normally be found only in resturants.
Good store, decent organics areas. I don like how especially in the winter they store food items you buy at full price in the entrance. The snow and salt dirty everything and you the buy. Gross.
Loblaws idea of helping reduce the spread of the virus is to have all the customers stand in a line all day so we can be sure to infect each other. The line up for the cashier was across the front of the store, down the isle, and across the full back of the store. Great Job! :-S
Great store with a fabulous selection although my experience with curbside pickup at this store has been poor. 3/5 orders have had missing items or miss-charges.
First class grocery shopping. I love their hot meals to go.
I like this Loblaws as it has a large selection of everything, store workers are friendly and I can normally find everything on my grocery list. Bonus, there is also a Starbucks inside the store, as well as, a pharmacy, wine and beer aisle, and a Joe Fresh. Talk about convenience. Occasionally, they have a live band while you shop. Excellent experience!!
I truly dislike this place. Every visit is stressful in some way. We only go here as a last resort. Revised....definitely last trip yesterday. If this was the last grocery store on earth. I would rather eat the bark of a tree.
Great experience at Loblaw's Burnhamthorpe today, felt safe in a clean organized space! I also got an amazing deal on the Kleenex bulk box! Great job keep the place running a smooth operation and safe during these changing times
I like this location, it's clean and nice. The only issue I had was with one cashier who decided to take someone the in front of me because they had less items. If she asked me I would have been ok, but the nerve of some people to take it upon themselves to manage customers. Anywho, it's a great location! The bakery is right at the front, we go there a lot to get cakes for work events. Try the chocolate caramel cake, the price is right and it's delish!!! However, cakes are becoming less popular with folks going healthy so smaller sizes are a safer bet. Produce is good, berries are in an interesting location. Joe fresh is solid. Enjoy!
Clean and well stocked.
Lots of produce and products consistently missing prices. No one acknowledges you at the bakery. No one helps you bag and they rush you out by starting to scan the next persons stuff before you’re done. Not enough yellow carts, personally I find the red ones just too big for me and they are hard to maneuver in the store. Disorganized layout - hard to find stuff. And lastly, you can find pretty much everything they have for way cheaper somewhere else. Wake up people.
It has everything you need. There is also Joe Fresh deparment inside tge store. Fresh products. Clean store. Live music on weekends - very cute.
Good for extraordinary things
As usual. Unmatched price for the while beef tenderloin. Also, best price and quality on the pock and choose bagels. Cheese and Herb is the best bagel out there.
Items are always in stock. Lines move very quick at this location.
One of the best grocery stores in the west end. Newly renovated- it now has a Starbucks inside. On the weekend they have live bands playing. The food market area is fresh and full of a variety of ready-to-go foods for all diets and appetites. This one has a Goodlife (for women only), pharmacy and cooking classes. Service is excellent and rarely had long lines as they open all cash registers during peak times.
This is an upgraded Loblaws with some fancy pizzas and etc. But their cake is as bad as usual with fake dairy whipping cream on it.
High turn over rate of staff.
I love the new look of this Loblaws. Has a huge bakery section with a variety of desserts including specialty donuts, muffins, baklavas, cookies, and more. They also have a seafood section which does not smell up the place, a sushi section, a small little cafe type section, a normal bakery section aside from the dessert section and much much more to discover.
Gone downhill. Nothing is organized, you want salsa, there are 4 isles to look for it, Mexican isle, international isle, chip isle and ok the cooler for fresh. Same with rice and other items, why the international isle? Just put everything together.
They have been updating this location for a while. Modern style transformation makes the store space feel larger than in the past. The alcohol section seems to be growing. The one downside of the expansion is the constant changes of their product placements. Every time I go in, I end up searching for what I need because the items have moved to another aisle/shelf.
Clean store, only shop the specials. Regular pricing is still not competitive. P.c.points is a very good incentive.
Did not have what I wanted
They didnt have all of the inventory I would have liked. The did have mostly great produce. Prices are a little higher than other stores. They had many great cashiers in anticipation for the higher shopper numbers. The lines moved very quickly (which I have to say is amazing!!!)
Nice location and decent sales from time to time. Checking out is always a pain here, lines move incredibly slow (all the time!)
Always stocked with our grocery needs. This location is very clean and well organized. Lines can be long at times but the self checkout is generally available without a line.
Looks amazing since the renovation but prices are expensive. New food court is great. Decent food for a fair price.
Nice and clean with good selection in bakery section
Close to my place this one has one of the best gardeing centres.
Excellent. Sales are great. Points make a big.difference have spent over 3000 points since program started
Love PCExpress.
This is a very busy Loblaws, hence sometimes items might not be available, especially if there is a really good sale. Nonetheless, I love this Loblaws. Everything is very fresh and customer service is great.
Bought 10 bags of soil no help sore back
Ean and many options from shopping for your groceries to quick warm take out and Starbucks , great store!
Clean well kept place. Their food to go was surprisingly alright. I grab lunch from there probably once a week.
Reasonable store, needs to have a hands free scanner at the self checkout. Good deli variety.
Pretty well stocked. Fresh meat and fish. Good bakery too. A bit expensive but worth not having to wait a decade to pay for your stuff.
The amazing cheese counter is gone, now it just looks like a dolled up Walmart. They dont carry any locally produced milk from small dairies, I guess since they started carrying liquor they figured they can cut back on everything else. Loblaws has lost its luster.Very sad
Exellent products a lot of organic stuff
Mary and Susan from the floral department are amazing! They both went over and above to help me. Mary made my mother the most beautiful corsage! I wanted them both to know that their kindness was appreciated.
Very respectfull social distancing, organized checkout.
Oh I love Loblaws, including this locations. The products are almost everyday in stock. Never had any troubles there.
This Loblaws is huge, two things I don't like is the parking lot-the entrance when leaving is awkward and the bread from the bakery just does not cut it. But the store has excellent selection and the produce is very fresh.
Excellent inhouse pastries and cheese cakes
I like that they stock the Bobcaygeon Common Loon APA which is hard to find in most LCBO/Beer Stores.
This store is so inviting. It has to be the best in Toronto. Produce, Meat, Fish, Deli and Bakery Counters are displayed nicely and are so inviting. They are always well stocked. The Staff is usually friendly and helpful and also very courteous. This store offers beer & wine & the girls that offer samples are so pleasant. Checkout is so quick and easy and makes your shopping experience a very pleasant one.
Great store nice and big n they have everything.
Big, clean, very friendly staff. Good bakery and deli.
Good store
The Mobile Shop got some real good deals. Went there for shopping on a weekend ended up getting a better deal on phone plan. Switched over immediately.
Very busy grocery market with a Starbucks.
Good selection and generally well managed but ridiculous prices. Their SALE price is the regular price elsewhere or higher. Go if you want 1 stop shopping and know you are paying a hefty premium for doing so.
The line up in this store is a one single file line, so it extends all the way to the other end of the stores freezer section. It honestly feels like your in a customs line at a land border crossing. The checkout is so far, you feel like your in the nosebleeds at a Blue Jays Game. Regardless of the above, I still needed my fresh Olive Bread for my Charcuterie at home. Thats what earned you two stars instead of one.
Love the place. Yummy
Absolutely beautiful store. You can find anything you need. The cakeshop is a delight. There is also a wine and beer (+ some ciders) section. The only downside is that Loblaws is quite expensive.
Very good selection of food, flowers, treats and wine
A beautiful store. Great presentation. Lots of stock and good produce and meat. Will definitely shop here again!
I really like the set up EVERYTHING IS NEATLY SET UP FRESH FLOWERS GREAT PRICES
Very busy place, lots parking. Service is excellent, pricey if u shop here regular. Compared with Chinatown, monthly grocery bill is doubled. But here u get good quality food and comfortable atmosphere.
Clean and tidy
If you want to be disrespected and over charged, this is the grocery store for you.
Tried to charge us 64$ for a turkey becuase it did not have a tag on it, while the turkeys that had tags on them were 27$. Butchers were extremely rude and arrogant. Not customer friendly. Would not recommend this location. *Ended up going to walmart and getting a bigger bird for 15$. Also looked at No Frills and they have turkeys for 17-20$ range
Products are good, price is higher than other stores.
Always able to be in and out and grab everything I need.
Good quality ????
Full stock but salmon is too expensive to buy and long lineups.
Nice place to shop groceries. They used to give crackers with soup and for some unknown reason that was discontinued. Cashiers and staff are nice and helpful. WiFi is decent and women can enjoy a gym upstairs.
Really impressed with this Loblaws. It is beautiful, clean, organized, and staff are helpful. They also have a large ready meal section, hot and cold things, near the front of the store. The food looked absolutely delicious, I wish I lived nearer to this location.
Inefficient checkout process. Expect to be standing in line for at least 15 minutes to pay for your groceries.
Good looking store though very large and need to walk and walk. Great selection but pricey
Good selection and variety of produce, homeward and the joe fresh is a nice addition. Service was good.
Bout a premade fruit n nut salad and a ehole rotisserie chicken. Both were of good quality and the service was fantastic. First time there and everyone was pleasant to talk to.
Very big store, you can buy almost everything there, including Joe Fresh department with good prices, especially when they have clearance items ????
Really nice, clean store. Prices vary so keep an eye on that - got some good prices on fresh seafood. Parking is a bit crazy at times, better to go off peak.
Pretty, clean, fresh, and has a great selection.
Very dark store they scam people just like all loblaws and please GO TO METRO at Cloverdale mall its soo much better
Well stocked. Spacious Loblaws. Has a Joe Fresh area, home decor area and liquor section. Has a dry cleaner, lottery counter, bakery, and flour shop. Ample parking and great location next to the highway ramps.
Very lsrfe store. True to the chain. Good takeout food options.
I find Loblaws very convenient to shop for my groceries. Their fruits and vegetables are fresh.Prices are competitive.
Very clean. Short lines. Well stocked
Love this location. Always sticked, staff is great. Food quality is the best
Terrible, Terrible experience trying to buy a cake, quick in and out, the sales assistant spent 20 minutes with a pair of customers who could not make up their mind in ordering a cake. With people queuing up asked if we could quickly purchase and leave but got a flat no. Waiting longer and we basically had to get into an argument with the sales assistant for her to call in help as more customers built up. All it required was a courteous assistant to be nice and a bit of sense.
Good clean store. Advertised items on shelves. Lots of parking. Family friendly shopping.
Consistently good service using the curbside pickup.
Best Loblaws around, can usually find everything I need all in one place. Their produce is always fresh and their dairy and meat alternative selection are ????????
I find the aisles are a bit tight, but otherwise I enjoy shopping this Loblaws over all others in the city.
I shop here almost every single day. And one thing bothers me a lot. There is no baskets at the entrance. One out of 10 times there are. So you have to walk all the way inside to cashiers to find one. I think this is shame for the grocery store like this. They make millions dollars every day and can't spent couple houndreds for some extra baskets.
Love the international foods and organic choices.
