My local store has a small retail space but a large backup; they carry a wide variety of the most popular and high-end specialty beverages. I also use their client rebate system which comes in very handy toward the end of the month, when my savings are low!

Really good selection for the size- not as big a cooler section as some places but a lot more stuff that doesn't come chilled. The staff are really friendly and attentive. I agree with other reviewers that Esquimalt Plaza can get a bit sketchy at night, and I have had some uncomfortable encounters on my way in or out before.

Ok in a pinch. Best avoided if you have a speech impediment, however. The manager here can't seem to tell the difference between a stutter and intoxication. A for effort though I guess! I have now lowered my opinion, and therefore my rating, because of an incident I witnessed last night. A clearly intoxicated person drove (wove, over the curb, into a chain fence) into the parking lot (it was so obvious we called 911) then proceeded to literally stagger into this establishment where he was sold more alcohol! It's been a while since I took Serving It Right but I'm pretty sure that's a big no no! So I have reached the conclusion that having a speech impediment will get you denied service here but being a raging drunk is just fine.

The selection is great. Lots of different beverages you can't find at other stores. Prices are reasonable, and comparable to BC liquor stores. I like this location because the parking is great, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. My favorite liquor store to go to.????

I was hung up on when inquiring about a delivery, called back thinking it was by mistake only to be told that I was to drunk to order and to call someone else. I was stone cold sober but have a speech impediment that causes me to on occasion stutter . My issue is with how quickly and without information they came to the assumption I was to drunk to place an order!! An order that would have been consumed in my own home, I was not ordering and driving. Very rude and unprofessional .
