REVIEWS OF Fraser 25 IN Esquimalt

Some of the lowest prices in Esquimalt and the owner is always friendly. ATM, tobacco and lottery available. 5 cent candies are still 5 cents!

Owen Smith

Very rude owner. Would not let me purchase or give a reason why, some kind of power trip. Advise against going in there.

Where's Walt

Owner is super Rude 10/10 never go there.

Sylvie Lasalle

This is my favorite convenience store, the owner is friendly and try to help you in any way. This store is always super clean, and he's got the best price in town on many items. Ian is a hard worker and i go to this store everyday since 13 years. . Good job

Mlee

Owner is rude, do not go here. Worst store ever. Maybe the owner should learn some manners and how to treat customers, and people in general, properly.

This little corner store loves to yell at Inocent customers because they like to go to LA Belle Patate... saying they won't serve people like me... like who? Natives? Fat people? Do you know the meaning of customer service? How are you still open? Threatening to call the cops over what? Trying to buy some snacks?

My co-worker wanted to get some poutine and I needed a drink as I made my lunch from home. We get out of the car, and the moment my co-worker moves towards La Belle Patate this convenience store owners jumps out his store. He starts yelling at me that I am not allowed to park there (Even though I wanted a drink). As we were in uniform, we decided not to engage his behavior, which was completely inappropriate. I decided that I was not going to spend a dime in his store and just got back into my Jeep and waited for my co-worker. While I did this, he either called the police, or a towing company and reported my plates to them. Another shop owner tried to reason with me (calmly), to which I explained to him I was going to buy a drink, until he started yelling at us. This man needs to calm down because he lost a customer due his behavior. now I will tell everyone about this man's lunacy and to avoid his business.

Ian the owner works his butt off and has always been super polite to my wife and I. Numerous times, ( I can be in a hurry a lot) I have forgotten my wallet or grabbed the wrong card and Ian was kind enough to let it slide for me until the following day. Always asks how my wife and I are doing. Like many convenience stores a wide array of items to try and make ends meet... It's hard keeping up with the large franchise stores these days, I prefer to support local small business and good people. My company has even done some work for him. Good guy and my stop for my sugar fix/lotto tix. Thanks Ian.

Owner refused my patronage because my passenger went to pick up food from next door. Had to drive to the next store to do my shopping. Way to lose a customer, buddy.

Old school Esq ! Something nostalgic about original Chine store ran full time by local owner these days,, too those who talk s... it takes a little effort and time to earn respect from a guy that’s served the hood for many 1000s of hours... love the trinkets and good incense,,, of coarse cheapest smokes around. He’s a jade, ya just gotta relax and learn how to read people in real time life. ????

I honestly feel so bad for the amazing restaurants on either side of this s***hole store. The owner is obviously on the verge of a psychotic break if one more person parks in one of his 9 empty parking stalls to go to either restaurant. The amount of money that he has spent on signs and spray paint and phone bills to call the tow company must be so high. I will ALWAYS park in your stalls to pick up my food. Even if the rest of the lot is empty and I will NEVER EVER EVER come in and buy anything from your store. You can continue to glare, mutter, and even finger wag but I will persist. I will not rest. I will not falter. You will let me park here.

Parked to grab pick up order from La Belle Patate and grab drinks from Fraser 25. Immediately met with hostility, the owner chased after us yelling about parking. We decided to grab drinks at 7-11 instead...

It's sad that this business owner thinks any lack of parking in front of his store is keeping customers away. It isn't: it's his terrible attitude towards even his paying customers (calling tow company after they have made a purchase, being rude, etc) that makes them not want to come back.

Nicole Smythe

The owner is always friendly and kind to my boyfriend and I when we come in. Great prices and dependable stock. Really appreciate the hard work this guy puts in every day.

Andy Rumney

Ian is a friendly and hardworking father. He provides for his children, and doing his best in this dog eat dog industry. Koodo's to him for hanging in there. To all that bad mouths him- bet you couldn’t do half what he does to provide.

Marcus Cooper

Candice Dejong

There was a hole in one of are drinks

Kai Steers

Very disrespectful

Shawn Jones

Owner is a goof

Brody Poznikoff

Owner called a tow company to tow my car because i went to the town hall next door to pay my taxes AFTER buying something in his store. Will not be coming back.

David Fillion

Terrible service and selection. Store is not very clean, with many shelves empty, and generally had the appearance of a front for illegal activity seen on television shows. Store manager will eye you up and will not be polite if you dare to ask a question and prefers you pay in cash. On the plus, it is never busy so no lines and products that should cost alot more are cheaply priced.
