Good location, parking is becoming an issue during peak shopping days/hours. Prices vary be sure to check competition flyers. Vegetables, produce and bulk items well priced. Good selection of fresh and frozen seafood, along with two aisles of organics! Nice pharmacy with helpful staff. The new liquor store is now open with a very nice selection of wines and spirits!

Their curbside pick up staff needs training. They don't bother reading the instructions you leave on your order, and even if you remind them when you call after you've arrived, it still doesn't get taken care of. Happens on just about every order I place, which is more or less weekly. I know I'm a drop in the bucket to them, but it's still pretty lousy service.

It's a super store so I didn't expect much. I enjoy shopping here because it's never busy so I'm not always trying to avoid shopping carts to get around. It's a small location but the selection is good and they carry a lot of international brands, It's quite pricey but I shop here out of convenience when I'm in the area Staff are always very helpful and friendly and the customer washroom is always clean. l'd give it all five stars if the prices were even mildly comparable to other chains

A little on the pricey side. Produce was good quality. Clean store and there is almost never a wait time to check out, which is quite nice. The meats are always very good quality but I often shop elsewhere just because I can get the same amount for less somewhere else. If things were a bit cheaper I would definitely shop here more often.

I've been using this store for about 15 years. I prefer them for their green groceries, fruit, meat dairy and sometimes fish. The service is adequate, the aisles are wide and the lighting is not a problem to this migraine sufferer. Prices are decent and President's Choice is often the best option. Parking is well lit. Not camper friendly and close to main arteries.

My parents had a horrible experience shopping here today. They waited a half hour in a lane that accepted Beer purchases. Watched several people in front of them pay for beer. Had most of the items they were purchasing placed on the conveyor belt lane (lots of items) when they Beer Accepted here sign was removed and the cashier told them they needed to reload their cart and go to another lane to make their purchase. This is insanely poor service and completely rude.

I prefer to do most of my grocery shopping at this store in Midland. It has the widest selection with usually competitive prices. They do pricematch if you find a better price elsewhere. Aside from the usual at a grocery store they have a fresh made sushi bar, prepared meals, fresh seafood and butcher, housewares, pharmacy, large organic section, clothing, beer and wine, cooking classes, decorate your own tableware, some electronics and a mobile carrier stand. Things that could be better: I find the produce is not always the freshest, it can be difficult to find some items, their ethnic selections are limited and the aisles are often crowded (both with displays and with people).

Very tired looking building inside and out. Always seems to be very busy and there are some good values to be had if you pay attention to flyers. The person at the checkout was very friendly and rang us through quickly. We don't shop here often, but when we do we pretty much always find what we want at a decent price. If you're into collecting points, don't forget your PC Optimum card.

Its a great place to go shopping for groceries and everything. I even bought a 50" samsung tv from here. The only downside to this store is that when you go outside with your groceries. You go anywhere near a shopping cart holding area and you are stopped by a bum wanting money to buy smokes.

Pros: Good selection, all your general needs and relatively reasonable pricing. Cons: Not many staff around for questions or support. Not happy to see more and more focus around automated check outs. Not isolated to this chain but retail in general is headed this direction. Call me old fashioned but miss the human interaction aspect of shopping and seeing familiar faces of the community. The service side of shopping is sadly eroding. Not a problem for a relatively young person like myself but I see this not being a pleasant for seniors and the non-tech friendly in general.

Our family shops there a lot and usually a great trip... but not tonight Wednesday June 5th. Tonight I only had cash to buy just one case of coke. As I go to check out I notice only 2 cashes open with at least 6 people in each. The guy next to me sighed and put all his stuff on a vacant til and walked out. I approached the customer service desk to ask if I can buy it there (only one item). She said I had to go to the cash and didn’t want to help. I put the coke back and proceeded to walk out. Passing by the customer service area I seen her again (just standing outside the counter doing nothing)and said “ line up too long I’m leaving”. With absolutely no concern said “have a great day”.

My favorite place to buy groceries for years, but unfortunately I have to prepare for the parking lot every time I go. I like to go later in the evening because it's less busy, but the homeless are out of control. I am approached by strung out homeless men every time I go. I will load groceries into my vehicle, turn around and they are right in my face. I am not afraid of them in the slightest but other woman that go, especially with young children should be concerned. The security at this place needs to change. When I was there last week there where were a bunch of them sitting inside by the carts harassing everyone in the store.. completely unacceptable. We should feel safe going to get groceries. I understand the store is in a bad location near the injection site, but security needs to step it up.

After having a Turkey Roll go bad, I decided to go to the Superstore to buy the Roast chicken,meal deal. So, 1 toasted chicken, 2 salads,and dinner rolls. After telling the cashier 3 times, it was the meal deal, it was still rung in separately. The receipt looked wrong so I went to customer service. The first thing the lady at customer service said was, well it's very little difference money back. So, my question is, why are the tills ringing in this Roast chicken meal deal Separately?It looks suspicious to the customer, who then has to go to customer service and get them to ring it up on a hand calculator. The lady was snippy on top of it. It's Thanksgiving Day. I didnt need this when I had already heard of two other issues this weekend that were not good. I have basically avoided this store for months because the last time I was there , an older man ran into the back of my car with a cart. We were backing out, so I guess he didn't see us. I'm glad he didn't get hurt .My car still has a paint scratch from the cart. The atmosphere in this particular store has gone from negative to very negative. So, I still get gas at the pumps, but I'm seriouly, thinking it's time to get groceries at another grocery store . It's just not worth going here anymore.

This place is horrible. This particular location is full of entitled customers who don’t share the aisle or even seem to be aware that there is anybody else in the store. The store itself is okay, but since the parking lot is a nightmare and full of people who constantly park in front of the stairs and ramp, it should give you a good idea of what trying to walk around inside is like.

The other day I was in Superstore and had to get change so that I could get a cart. An employee was able to unlock the cart for me so I didn't have to get change. The same day the cashier was wiping down her station and she had such enthusiasm. I knew she was taking my safety seriously. I left the store knowing I met two great people there.

I went to the store yesterday, for the first time in a year. I was sad to see that the prices went up, in every department. It was no longer any better, in terms of pricing, than most other grocery/pharmacy stores in Victoria. Considering the fact that there can be rather long line ups at the cash, and the customer must bag their own groceries, I don't recommend this store. Prices are definitely better at Walmart's stores.

Terrible, unintuitive layout. Always busy and difficult to navigate. You have to have a loonie if you want a cart, don't even think about looking for a basket instead, there are none in sight. Two stars because they do a good job staffing the checkouts on the weekends. There are MUCH better places in KW for groceries.

If the fresh produce isn't completely out of stock it's usually rotting on the shelves. If you're looking for a deal on meat go here, but don't expect quality. If you're looking for ingredients for an exotic dish however, they have you covered. Most of the the other stores in town are so white washed it becomes a task finding something more than just one brand of hoisin or a bottle of mirin. The only reason this store gets 2 stars is because of their diversity in selection.

PC Express is extremely frustrating at this location. As others have written, it doesn’t matter what time slot you have, how far in advance you order or if your a PC Insider - you WILL get the phone call saying they’re “running behind”. This means you may/or may not get your order at all on the day you scheduled. This has happened at least the last 3 times I’ve ordered in the last 2 months, often with pick up not being until the next day and don’t even get me started on the substitutions and unavailable products (often found by walking into the store myself - on the shelf where they always are). This service is becoming more and more frustrating and my complaints to customer relations have gone unanswered for over 2 weeks. Management or head office: do something to help your staff. Limit the time slots to fit your staffing levels, increase your staff, incentivize them to show up to work. Doing nothing to fix the problem is unacceptable and I’m certain I’m not the only one complaining to them. If you choose not to fix it, Walmart has been seamless and will take over for you.

Big box store feel, but good prices and unique products. The store is huge, and it can be a little difficult to find what you're looking for if you don't already know your way around. The prices are very competitive, and they often have great loss-leaders in their flyers. There are many cool PC brand products here that you won't find anywhere else in town, like crazy chip flavors. As far as big box grocers go, Superstore is pretty good.

Produce are always fresh and new. Check the flyers for some good deals if you must before shopping and you will get a lot of bang for your buck. Some of the products here (other than food) are overpriced and a rip-off. I bought a towel hanger here for $19. Went to Dollorama found same exact item for $4. Also, I bought a bath rug here for $20. Went to Costco and found the same item for $12. Therefore, I will only do my grocery here other than that I will be buying elsewhere.

This was our go to neighbourhood grocer when it was The Great Canadian Superstore but it has been rebranded and has slid downhill. Gripes: 1) dollar to get a cart... who carries cash...especially coins anymore? I asked the customer service for a token to release the cart while I shopped. Milk dripping from the racks, caked on dried milk sludge on the floor, smells like a cheese factory. I have pointed it out to management 3 times but no change. 3) I continually find items mispriced or with no price. They are constantly rearranging where items are in the store. 4) There is a full serve Beer Store 200 meters across the parking lot which has been there for years but they closed the little wine outlet and wiped out 2 whole aisles of grocery items to put in beer and wine. I'll drive to Sobeys or Zehrs. I am not going in this store again.

Their grocery pick up system if good. Taking a star off cause they're charging fee for it where as others aren't, but they have good options so I begrudgingly pay it. The inside of the store is a different issue. While the store is bright and clean, the layout makes no sense. Unintuitive, grouping odd items beside each other. And the lines. Omg the lines. They always stretch to the back freezers and there's always one or two tills open only. Be prepared to stand in line for a good half hour at least. Probably more. It's a real nightmare if you only need a small handful of things. It basically forces you to take your business elsewhere.

Despite having some of the best selection, the Prince George store is absolutely unbearable. The store itself is fundamentally a trainwreck in terms of design; narrow aisles and negligible space between checkouts and the rest of the store. A handful of people in the store leads to complete congestion, effectively halting the entire building. I can't walk in without getting rammed by carts or pushed. Parking lot is so full of panhandlers I can barely park. Staff are obstructive and rude to top it off. I haven't been able to leave the store without being downright angry in about two years now. The only holdout I had was they provide the only food my cat will eat. I think I'd rather look online and pay massive shipping rather than set food inside again.

We come here most weekends for our grocery shopping because the prices are good when they can be verified. However, we find we really need to double check prices of things to make sure they are as they appear. I added a couple examples from within the first few minutes of being in the store this morning. We find this is the trend all the time and often I need to convince the employees that their misleading pricing needs to be addressed. They're losing money as a result.

I normally enjoy shopping at superstore bcuz they have a wide range of different things 2 buy. There's even a doctor's office in the store and a optometrist place near the pharmacy. They have the option 2 purchase your groceries online and have specific parking lots for customers who drive 2 pickup thier groceries that are brought out 2 them when they arrive...I love that when you purchase the club size items in the store that it's cost effective. The cashiers are quite friendly and give off positive vibes... the store made chicken Caesar salads are really yummy

First time here and the shopping was pretty straight forward. Some prices were competitive while others seemed very high. Avocados were almost $7 a bag. Being new to the island, I'm not sure about the prices and how they vary from place to place but that seemed high. Place was very clean and isles were free of clutter and debris. Also looked short on carts too as there was a bit of a line to get one. Staff were knowledgeable, friendly and helpful which made it a bit easier to get around the store. I would definitely come back and shop here again.

This is my primary grocery shopping store. I like it because it has a really big selection of food, it's connected to PC points and you can price match. Even if something is more expensive here, I can price match it out which saves me a lot of money at times. This grocery store has a lot of food selection from produce to meats to bread to pantry.. They have a natural health section of food which is a good size as well. This store also has a clothing line called Joe Fresh that I havent utilized much yet. They also have products for your home such as TVs, Personal Care products, Home Furniture, Decorations, Appliances etc. This store is literally HUGE and carries almost everything you could need for your home. Beside the grocery portion, there is so much more to look at as well. I didn't rate it a 5 because there are times when the same product I purchased 2 weeks ago, I can't find any more. Something as simple as their brand waterbottles. Also some of their prices are way too expensive and I can never buy those things like their cheese or specialty meats.. but I guess there is a market for that :)

Best variety in North Simcoe for grocery products. Good pricing and great staff. Some of the fish products are best purchased on specific days to ensure freshness - ask the staff they will tell you when best days to purchase. Salmon for example is typically on Friday from what I was last told - makes sense as getting ready for weekend. Watch the flyer - and they do price match - and do offer Click and Collect - order online before heading to cottage and pick up all ready for you when you get there!

My favorite grocery store in town, though that's not saying much. I've been keeping track of prices for my common consumables (deodorant, shampoos, pop, meat, cleaning supplies, etc) and downtown superstore is usually a wide margin cheaper in most things, second only to walmart. I try to avoid other Loblaw's stores, such as "Your Independent Grocer" in Timberlea, as their prices are around 10-15% more despite being the exact same brand's. Downtown Superstore is a no-frills grocery shopping place with a doctors office and a jewelry store inside. Watch out for the flooding parking lot. It happens. A lot.

Bathrooms are often not clean, smelly, and with functioning equipment (sink, or urinal, or toilet, or hand dryer). Cashiers will talk amongst them selfs instead of customers, about what they'll do after work, or about the previous day, etc. either overtop of or behind them. I know they want to move costumers along as fast as they can, but when I bag up my groceries it'd be nice not to have my fruit and bread crushed against the end of the belt and other groceries.

Love this Superstore! For my groceries I shop there 90%. Other 10% at Costco as it's difficult to shop there because it's too busy and I don't always need a huge pack of everything. Superstores only competition is Costco in my opinion. Although I chose to go to Superstore more often for my daily groceries and stuff. I love self check outs at Superstore. They also have a lot of cashiers open when busy. Great selection of grocery products, awesome home decoration, seasonal, bedding and toys. Way to go to the manager of this particular location. He or she are doing an amazing job managing such a big shop. The store is getting better and better ever day. I had concerns of them not having organic milk at certain times (not recently, couple or more years ago) They fixed it! Now they always have it in stock. And in general their shelves are always full, never out of stock! Way to go!

Social distancing impossible. I had to leave this store because the check out was organized in a way that made it impossible to keep even an arm's length distance from other shoppers. When I raised this issue with customer service they said that it was my responsibility to socially distance from other shoppers and that the store had no responsibility for creating a situation in which shoppers could not obey this public health guideline. Lineups have gotten progressively longer, and despite trying to push people through automatic tellers its not improving when they have half the tills shut down. Dropped off a prescription at the pharmacy today, was told approximately a 1hr wait. No problem, had other errands. 2.5hrs later it still was not filled. I travel an hour to come into town, and don't have the time to wait additional hours past scheduled times. I will be moving my families prescriptions to another pharmacy, and will gladly pay a little more for my groceries to get some semblance of service and speed.

I've seen lots of reviews complaining about the carts. Let's review why, Loblaws has decided to charge $1 for the use of a cart. They did this so customers wouldn't leave them randomly in the parking lot and they wouldn't be stolen. Besides, you can get your dollar back. If you used your incompetent brains, you would know that the carts connect using a little key chain. If you shove the key chain into the back of the handle your loonie will pop out and you can retrieve it. Or if you are smart like my mother, you can purchase a "replacement" coin that isn't expensive. It is reusable and I don't know if any of you are taking your coin out when you are finished shopping, but if you remember to do so, you save your hard earned coin. Don't be lazy, it is not that difficult. But the store is great, I've been shopping here for years and so has my mother. It's great when you need literally anything but power tools and hardware stuff but it's in a convenient location and the staff has always been kind and helpful.

Expensive, crowded! I used to come here often because I could get cash at the bank machine with my PC membership and gas was cheaper too at the Superstore gas pumps. Now it costs money to use the cash machine at the Superstore and the Mobil station is competing with Esso and Shell as to who has the most expensive gas in town!! Now it's easier to use Freshco because my bank is next door, the produce is just as good and cheaper the Beerstore is nearby and I get my gas at Pioneer!! Disappointed!!

This is the second time I've bought groceries through the flash food app for this location and they've "given away my order to someone else". I ordered pork ribs through the app for $19.92, went to pick them up and they were conveniently not in the locker. Went to the meat section and sure enough, they had the same package ribs with the exact same best before date and with the exact same price listed in the flashfood app just with a 30% off sticker but instead of putting it in the locker and giving it to me at the price I originally paid, they purposely leave items on the floor and throw on a 30% off sticker since the app offers a much lower price. Won't be back to this location ever again!

Pretty much guaranteed to have what you're after if it isn't super specific. I've used their butcher shop a number of times and found the staff super helpful. They've got self-checkout and a decent beer and cider selection (mostly unrefrigerated I believe). I believe you can order online as well and drive over to pick up your groceries delivered right to one of the designated parking spaces.

There were two older ladies completely ignoring us and had NO communication as to let us, the customers that pay there wage, know that someone would be there to help us in a bit. He came over to help us but had to wait for one of the women took the meat and did her work that had NOTHING to do with helping customers service or to help speed up the process at all. One of the best superstores that we have been to. Much better than the outlet at Metrotown. The layout and product placement within the store can be a bit confusing - especially for those who are used to the other outlets. We frequently go to this store - even if it a 20 minute drive from our place because we get to shop in peace without worrying about social distancing (as we are certain that no one will bump into us). Because of the location of the store, it never gets too busy. Ample car parking space in the front is yet another good thing about this place. But they need to do something about brazen theft - I have seen people come and pick up the flower pots kept outside the store. Once I saw a guy taking and hiding at least five plus flower pots - he was hiding them beside building.

my husband and i have been using the grocery pickup service for about a year and a half and use to love it. in the past six months though, it’s gone downhill steadily. many times items are not found for my order, but i’ll go into the store after we have our order delivered to our car and i will find every single item that they weren’t able to pick. this has happened about a dozen times in the past 6 months. starting last night this has been THEE worst experience i’ve ever had with this store ever. i ordered groceries for pickup between 7 and 8 for last night. When we arrived the person said we could wait but it was going to take a long time because they were behind. A half hour later i called back and they said they had to push me to tomorrow night (tonight) and promised to give us 25,000 points. so tonight it was 715 when we arrived, it took us 5 minutes to get through to someone, there were 10 people ahead of us, meaning they had not given us priority even though they pushed our order ahead 24 hours. no one came to our car in the first 45 minutes. we went inside and waited for them to find our order which took 30 minutes. A couple of the employees were laughing about how they couldn’t find our order. Then they brought out a couple of bags and charged us $83 and there were several items missing totaling $20. when we brought this to the employees attention they were unable to refund our money, but offered us $15 in points (and we never received the 25,000 points offered to us the night before.) After over an hour of our time lost, my husband and i decided to cut our losses and just go home. We use to spend $600-$800 a month at superstore but this was a horrible humiliating experience and we are never going to return.

Wow, what an amazing store. Huge, bright, clean, and friendly staff. I got a jacket for Christmas from Joe Fresh but my Mother in Law lost the receipt. They very nicely exchanged it for the right fit with no hassles. Huge produce section, pharmacy on location, and massive parking lot. ONLY downside is you bag your own stuff but the money you save is well worth the extra few minutes.

The only complaint I have is there seems to be no limit to customers allowed in the store during "peak" hours. Everything is typically in stock and I don't usually have to substitute.

I love this super store!!! It's SO big!!They have everything there!!! From the Joe Fresh clothing line, to birthday party supplies, to Bluetooth speakers and any and every grocery you could want!! It's usually pretty busy, but so large that it's never creamed for space!! I really enjoy shopping here!! :)

I love this store but from time to time some top brass hands some BS down and simply wow. Have a look at the over limit price and if you pay by cash they round up. Now I brought this to the manager's attention and she said the over limit price was wrong. Even though the cost of this butter has been $4.00 for the last months and I bought some at least 3 times.. soo what they jack the price just before the sale to make it look like it is on sale ?? Come on Superstore top brass this is not cool.

I was shopping with a friend. At the end, I was finishing a transaction at the hairdresser while my friend was waiting with our cart full of purchases near the entry. A lady came up to my friend and attempted to take our cart. She was quite adamant it was her cart! Meanwhile our coats and my phone were in there. My friend was just about to scream for security when the lady finally gave up and walked away.

Had a COVID incident at this store where a customer, not wearing a mask, not social distancing, deliberately coughed on me. Reported to Customer Service, they said they couldn't do anything. Emailed head office 3 times. No response (it's been 3 weeks). I saw in the news, 4 days later the same customer, had spit on an employee at another store! Perhaps if Superstore had taken this concern seriously, this individual wouldn't have continued his dangerous behaviour. Also witnessed customers pulling their masks down under their chin, leaning over customer service desk to talk to staff. Staff do not have adequate PPE to keep them safe. I would avoid this store during the pandemic, as they don't keep their employees or customers safe enough. Not surprisingly there have been COVID cases at this store.

Scheduled a grocery pickup between 7-9. Arrived at 710, told it would be up to 20 minute wait and they were already picking them, offered a $10 gift card. 8:40 finally received groceries. Awful experience. Asked the woman working if they were short staffed: "sort of". You are or you aren't. I'd have got my own groceries if they had been honest at 710, then at 740 and 8 pm. Very frustrating.

Superstore ranks on the lower end of the grocery pricing spectrum - meaning you'll get the same stuff for less money. In some cases, the difference can be pretty dramatic compared to places like Safeway for example. However this comes at the cost of convenience, as they do not pack your groceries into bags for you, and recent remodelling has moved products into seemingly random locations throughout the store. They also removed the central aisle meaning you'll be walking twice as far to get from one aisle to the next, and you'll probably have to walk down every aisle the first 100+ times you shop here (until you can remember where stuff is anyway) The store gets EXTREMELY busy during the day on the weekends, so if you can instead shop at night (open to 11 basically every night of the week) or during business hours, you'll find waiting in line to be much less time consuming. They also offer online shopping, however I've never used it and so cannot comment.

Almost every single item I bought was either moldy or just a plain disgrace. The cream I bought for my coffee was not expired but came out chunky ! The milk I bought was the same. The bread I bought was actually damp and moldy ???? I bought a Case of Pepsi and it was moldy and one of the Pepsi cans inside of it was leaking everywhere. Please go somewhere else this place does not take care of there products properly!!!

Too large, big box with big price tags. Too many options for my liking, just looking for groceries and some Summer backyard things to spend our PC points on. Garden centre was lacking and in store was the same, only higher prices. No hoses, only 3 garden furniture sets. Was going to get some Fruitsation freezies but $3 more than my grocery store!?!? Guess I'll have to check an actual Zehrs to spend my points. We come here once every couple years but rarely leave satisfied.

Fantastic place! Way better than save on foods and other stores. Great value, high quality, and lower prices vs competition. Not to mention the customer service. Get variety of product versus competitor stores but it's like a prison. No calls in or out. No data. Everyone looks like they are being held against their will. The checkouts are terribly slow but this is due to a lot of coupons and points card users. Smart shoppers with too much free time making life difficult for the rest of us.

Superstore is my default place to get groceries that Costco doesn't carry. When getting compared to Costco, superstore falls short in consistent quality. The store is also a little stocker challenged too! Often times box cutters have sliced through your package, items in in the wrong place specifically vegetables that are similar, and things are often faced backwards (French side out), mostly in the beans and canned goods sections.
