I don't often post poor reviews but this store was a mess. The only section that was stocked was produce, all the other areas of the store were in shambles. My second comment was the layout. Random goods were placed next to one another forcing you to walk down every row to find what you needed. Want almond milk? It's beside coffee of course... Final observation, not a single store employee looked happy nor did they make eye contact. They all looked miserable.

Seriously great addition to Ladner. We really needed a lower cost alternative to pricey Save On Foods, especially for those who rely on public transportation, making the Tsawwassen Walmart less than ideal. From day one, the service has been good, the produce has been surprisingly fantastic and fresh and they carry some really hard to find ethnic foods/brands I would normally go to a specialty store to buy. Between Freshco, local produce stores, bakeries and butchers, I'm totally set.

Much better prices than Save on Foods across the street....but i just bought some chicken with feathers on the legs. I had to spend time cleaning off the chicken. I guess I should expect that from a place paying minimum wage??? I think i'll go across the street and pay a bit more for a cleaner product.

Great options, great prices, great amount of space to move around in the store to avoid others during this pandemic. I rarely have an issue finding what I need here, but there have been times when the shelves haven't been fully stocked for typical items which makes me need to go elsewhere. Otherwise, I'd definitely recommend this store over Save On, as the pricing is significantly better.

It may be cheaper than Safeway but can't beat Walmart. Hope they move cleaning section to middle or somewhere else, it is kind of gross when it is near frozen section

Lots of products that you can't get anywhere else. No bakery, butcher or deli but there are tons of other nearby options. The ethnic food selection alone is worth it.

The young staff and FreshCo in Ladner are often impolite and unprofessional. It is F word after F word with them. On multiple occasions I have been in the store and heard them discussing customers in a very rude manner. I have heard them talk about people they know, by name, in a very rude manner. In this case I knew the person they mentioned. This is not proper behaviour for a grocery store. Shoppers should not have to be subjected to that. There never seems to be a manager around to speak with, I tried looking for the contact for the store manager/operator online to no success. I am prompted to write this review after discussing my experience with coworkers this morning to find they have had similar experiences. And they note that they are often ignored by the staff at check out and closed signs have been put on check outs while customers are waiting, just so the two cashiers can stand there in front of the customers and chat. I want to like FreshCo but the young staff is making it so difficult. *One last thing, please double check your dates when shopping there, we almost bought milk that was nearly a month old.

The customers here are very rude. I came here three times and every time there is a customer being a big B to an employee. The customers are very harsh to the young kids who work at freshco. The employees to no surprise look completely miserable. Carts never really fit through the isles i had to really push the cart hard. They only have cloth bags and i had to bag my own groceries. I always have to wait for the other customer to leave before My items are scanned so if you’re in a rush don’t go to freshco. The guy on the wall is creepy. The tills don’t have lights to indicate if they are open or not and it’s very confusing. A lot of the time there are not enough people on cash. Wish they had a deli and a proper bakery. The prices are good though. Prefer Safeway to freshco but oh well :/

I liked the store for the first few weeks but the customer service has gone steadily downhill. Fewer and fewer cashiers have been on duty. Tonight at 8 o’clock there was one (!) cashier working with eight customers lined up. I put my items back on the shelf and went to Save-on.

This store used to be ok for the first while after they opened but now they just don't care anymore. Came here today and there was about 30 people in line for two cashiers. Even after several people complained it took them a long time to open more tills. They just continued their conversations amongst themselves rather than helping their customers. The service here really can't get any worse. They don't even give you any disinfectant wipes for the carts just a spray bottle that 100s of people a day touch. Smart

The staff are friendly and the store always appears clean. The only problem I have found that everytime I go there they are always out of chicken breast and egg whites. This seems to be the case regardless of the time I go, the same when my wife goes grocery shopping as well.

Freshco is good. Clean good selection and great prices. Unfortunately no services so everything is pre packaged, but overall a good place to shop

Lack of good spices....not even ground coriander or masala. Though you guys are suppose to stock "ethnic" ingredients. Vegetables are hit and miss. Mostly young kids working here that don't have product knowledge.

Currently the only grocery store in Ladner that doesn't essentially force you to use plastic bags. Good quality produce. Selection not so great for miscellany. Incidentally, we've started laundering our cloth bags weekly.

The prices are good but that's about it. Shelves are only ever half stalked, and there's garbage down all the isles. Also there is often crowds of 2 or 3 employees standing around with one working at half speed and the other two talking. The store is fairly clean but it is new, bathroom stinks and has no ventilation.

Prices are great for staple items, produce is rather sad, fine if you are using it that day but not for a weekly shop. Lack of cashiers makes for a hastle trying to leave the store, I asked for some help and employee shrugged and walked away.
