First time at McDonald's in along time. This one seemed to be terribly slow. 10mins to get a grilled chicken burger inside. I'm assuming the cleanliness was average as I think they've cut cleaning staff way back in most fast food places over the past few years. This location has a self serve order kiosk. Looks confusing for the first time.

As a retired employee of McDonald's in Thunder Bay, I was totally not impressed with the service at this location. I watched the manager place our burgers back and forth from the tray to the warming bin. She was waiting for the fry person to return to package the fries(which were cooked and hanging out of the grease) instead of packaging them herself and sending us on our way. Food was barely warm. This was Monday May 14th, 2018 around 11:am. Very disappointed!!

I went through the drive thru, and I asked for 2 quarter pounders with cheese with EXTRA onions (even says it on the receipts). What did I get? None on both of them. Also asked for a cheeseburger. Almost everything was fine with it. But, when I took it out of the bag, it was FREEZING cold. I opened it up, and the buns were soggy to the point if i poked it water came out and felt like they were literally just slapped on straight from the freezer. Only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because the fries were good and besides no onions the quater pounders were okay.

A McDonald's is a McDonald's. So really it's more of a judgment on how management and their team run the place. This one was just plain lazy in my eyes. I normally don't care if I get something messed up or whatnot. But this place screwed up my order 3 times. First time they forgot half my meal and of course this was one of those times I just ordered and drove back to hotel. Go back and ask them for my burgers, then they give me the wrong ones. Idk, but if you hate your job that much to not make a reasonable burger just move on. Like McDonald's literally designs everything to be idiot proof, and I've worked here for 3 months back when I was a teenager, it's so mind nummingly easy. So this McDonald's is getting a low rating because it doesn't seem they have a good team with them.

Drive through says that they are open 24/7 but this is not true for some days. Everything you would expect from a McDonald’s. Terrible late night meals. The food quality after 8pm plummets and there is seemingly zero quality control. Soda fountain machines has little to none carbonation, french fries taste as if they've been sitting since the supper rush, and if you ask for saltless fries you get, well salted fries still. The parchement paper that held the burger was soaked in grease and was mildly warm. If you want a good McDonalds meal, try to get it during dinner where there are supervisors and quality control. Otherwise, you're going to waste your money.

We stop here for the best coffee and muffins regularly. The reason I didn't give 5 stars is the food we've gotten hasn't been the best. It's good but not great. But their coffee beats Tim Hortons and Starbucks by a landslide!

It's McDonald's. Best place to eat when broke, high, sad, or a mix of all three. Why be unhappy when you can eat a familys worth of calories in one sitting for the low price of $25 and your self respect. Who needs self respect when you have 50 nuggies and a gallon of sprite?

I don't think I have ever received the "food" I have ordered here; definitely not any of my last 3 visits. The "restaurant" does nothing, and neither does their Twitter. They will respond in public then ghost you in the direct messages, even with pictures of their ridiculous "food" mess ups. Zero stars if I could, McDonalds is the worst "food" and customer service, especially when they never give you the right "food" to begin with. Use caution and double check everything in Dawson Creek. A&W and Wendy's are 30 seconds away if you like quick food without the quotes around it. You might even what you order, it's worth a shot.
