Standard Starbucks location; nice, polite baristas and prompt service. Has drivethrough and mobile order. Minimal indoor seating (~3 tables) and indoor service currently available as of October 6th, 2020. Mask required indoors but may be removed when seated at a table.

This is the most poorly designed drive thru in the history of drive thru’s and sure, I would definitely not use it if there was ever an option for pick up inside. The store front seems to not ever be “open” for pick up or orders placed through the app which is particularly frustrating because had I known I would be forced to use the drive thru for my online pick up order I would just skip Starbucks altogether. This location needs to amend this whole “drive thru only” thing ASAP. Pick in store should and needs to be an option at this location.

We ordered 3 venti drinks, 2 caramel macchiatos with extra shots and a dirty Chai. One of the caramel macchiatos was very weak and mostly tasted like milk, the other was completely watered down and warm with no ice and was not made with coconut milk as specified. The Chai as well tasted very weak.

Nice highway Starbucks, usually quick and clean so makes for a good pit stop. The coffee is on par with any Starbucks you will go to, so if that's your jam then stop on in.

Absolutely the slowest Starbucks I've ever been too. The lady at the drive thru window (maureen) is extremely friendly and very helpful, seems just as frustrated as everybody in the drive thru

The person “helping” us was having a conversation over their headset with who I can only assume was an off-shift employee sitting at the end of the counter. Our orders weren’t acknowledged other than “anything else, anything else”. We waited and watched while at least three employees behind the counter chatted and took a drive through order, then chatted some more before beginning preparation of our drinks. After walking out of the store we realized the label on one drink didn’t reflect our dairy-free order so went back inside to make sure it was. The two chatty Kathy’s were still laughing wirelessly from 3 feet apart and when asked to confirm that the drink was in fact dairy free snouted back “mmhmm”. We weren’t convinced so ended up throwing the drink away to be safe. I’m hoping this was a one-time scenario but it definitely tainted our experience here. We won’t be back. The good news is that the Tim Hortons a few doors down was super quick and extremely accommodating. Edit. 2 stars.

The best Hungarian barista I know told me that Starbucks taught North America to drink café. I fully agree and patronize our local Starbucks frequently. I enjoy a good cup o'coffee, but couldn't be bothered with dishwater masked with hazelnut or some other strange nothing-to-do with coffee flavour. Olé and cheers...

I came in 2 minutes before close for a Banff Been There mug. The staff member stopped sweeping to engage me in conversation, telling me apologetically that they were sold out, then suggesting I check Safeway Starbucks across the parking lot. Thank you so much for your excellent customer service!

I used to love Starbucks but latly i get such watered down coffees it makes me sad... It's getting really expensive to pay about $12 for 2 drinks just so i can domp it out and cant enjoy the drink and its flavors ????

We're sitting outside in the smoke and one of the Starbucks staff, Brandy, comes out a couple times and asks if she can get us anything. Offers us water. Best staff I've seen at a Starbucks. Best service I've ever Recieved at a Starbucks, by far! Bravo Brandy!

Unfortunately the service here tends to be really slow. Today I waited over 12 minutes for a single Americano despite only 1 other person in front of me and 7 staff members behind the counter (the espresso machine stood unattended for 5 minutes)

I love our local Starbucks and stop in once or twice a week. The baristas are well trained and very friendly. There isn't a big turn over in staff and they know what they are doing. If you like Starbucks, you won't be disappointed with a visit to this location.

ONLY ONE PERSON WORKING this wait is horrendous, I wouldn't be so mad and frustrated if I wasnt pregnant and late for my college class but everytime I come there is only ever ONE person working on the clock and it's always so busy. I ordered a salted caramel mocha. When i got the drink i noticed the salt was missing. When i asked for it they said they were out?? They should have told me that before i bought it. What's a salted caramel mocha without the salt?? The corporate Starbucks has really gone downhill recently..

Terrible Starbucks, these people couldn't make an order right if it was starring them in the face. They screwed up our drink order twice in one day. Highly recommend the Starbucks in Safeway they at least will give you the right drink.

I am on a strict diet, I cannot have sugar. I ordered a tall espresso frappe with heavy cream instead of milk, one pump of sugar free vanilla syrup and NO frappe base. I got a venti as well. I notified her it was important there was no base and that I was made aware from a previous Starbs that it wouldn't blend perfectly without it and that it was ok. She said ok and began making my drinks, however I saw her put a few pups of a syrup in one frappe then change out the container because it became empty so she clearly knew she was adding the base. When she handed us our drinks I asked what she had added and she said frappe base, are you doing the keto diet? Like oh ok so you were paying attention when I ordered and when you unnecessarily added the base in? She said oh yeah no that base is full of sugar and so is the whip cream.... WHY WOULD YOU ADD IT TO MY DRINK THEN??? Clearly I did not have the first keto she had ever seen. I was so hurt that I took the frappe outside, threw it out and cried in my car.

I received the wrong drink once because the order was misread but they were quick to correct it and gave me the wrong drink free. I love one of their older drinks that I cant find on the menu but they always make it for me, the caramel apple steamer. I do have a hard time remembering which size is what

This Starbucks location always seems extremely busy with not enough staff. Drive thru and online orders seem to be what keeps the staff so busy. Just be prepared to wait 10 minutes or more for a drink.

We ordered 3 venti drinks, 2 iced caramel macchiatos and a dirty chai. One caramel macchiato was completely warm and missing sweetener and did not have requested coconut milk. The other was watered down and definitely missing the requested extra shot. The dirty chai was also very weak.

Fast service with friendly staff. Their cold brew is too bitter. Sometimes they sell out of seasonal products too fast. As long as you don't go during rush hour (or on a fancy frappuccino release date), you should be able to get your coffee in a timely manner.

Great place to go if u want a fancy drink, they will do thier best to make you any kind of drink, unless it's not on the menu, you need too bring a recipe for them to follow. They have a great staff to serve you, and if things break down or not on stock they try thier best to improvise a bad situation . Only bad deal is usually short staffed on weekends. . .

Worked in Cranbrook last week and met the BEST Barista there. Brittany went above and beyond making my Latte. I travel all the time in different counties and on different continents and go to a lot of Starbucks. Her creation was hands down the best ever! Can’t wait to go back

Not one comfy chair in the whole place, don't expect to go here and chill with a friend in a comfortable chair and have a beverage etc. Also service is very slow even though everyone seems to be busy. Unfortunately this is the only specialty coffee spot open in Dawson on Sunday. Sadly typical in small town AB and BC.

They're always kind of messy on the outside of the cups but thats no big deal, just wipe it up with a napkin. Never have messed up my drinks. ADORE the apple crisp frappucino, only drink I've ever gotten in a large. Usually my order is a medium cotton candy frappucino but after trying the apple crisp for fall im in love!

When I went with someone we ordered our drinks and saw that there was 4 people behind the counter. We went to wait for out drinks then saw that 3 out of the 4 employees went to the back to talk and not help the one girl. Another customer came in and ordered 3 min after we ordered. Still no sign of any of the other girls. Then my friend got her drink without any sign of mine. Then the other customer got her drink but her order was wrong. Then thats when the other girls came out to finally help. When I got my drink finally it was a mess and we waited for out drinks for a while.

The staff close up 10 minutes earlier than what they are supposed....whats up with that ? Closing is 7pm not 6:50 pm

The drive through line is always long. They've messed up my orders more times than I can count but it's in a convenient location. The staff are at least friendly. The building is always clean as well. Not much variety in their bakery though.
