Expensive but good quality products. Seen first hand corporate greed there. Went to the teller,.....realized I forgot my bag....was offered plastic or paper bags.....thought paper would be free since it is totally sustainable and biodegradable and produces jobs in our hurting forestry division. I was informed plastic bags were 5 cents....ok.....( were is the proof that the funds go to environmental protection and recycling??? As well, if we pay for those bags for the corporation.....they no longer have to buy them......where does that money go??? Reduction of prices??? Lol. Or profit?) SHE TOLD ME THE PAPER BAGS WERE 10 CENTS!!! DOUBLE THE PLASTIC!!!! PLASTIC BAG....5 CENTS......400 YEARS TO BREAK DOWN.....KILLING OUR WILDLIFE. PAPER BAG....10 CENTS......SUSTAINABLE, BIODEGRADABLE, PRODUCES GOOD PAYING JOBS. DO YOU ONLY CARE ABOUT PROFIT??

I shop here often for the meat (superb quality) and bakery, not to mention awesome deli and Chinese food, they have very good priced marrow bones (treats for my pup), staff have always been great. Happy customer and would recommend.

Excellent variety of foods, drinks, processed and fresh meats, and more. Committed check-out staff, also very helpful. One of the best retail outlets I have ever been to. My sister in law purchased fresh flowers, which they trimmed, mixed and packaged within minutes. Outstanding!!! Thank you. Philip.

I love this store. The staff are friendly and the food is great... They have an awsome deli. They also have a hidden gem upstairs, It's a house and home gift shop with some really nice items but they also have couches and nice chair groupings where you cab sit have a coffee or tea and enjoy a snack. It is really nice up there and often quite quiet. Great place to have small meetings..

There is a great old fashioned breakfast available until 11:00 am in the Bistro. Straight up eggs, toast, potatoes and choice of bacon, sausage or ham for $5 bucks. It is cooked to order and delivered to your table. It was perfect and a very good deal.

This Quality foods is located at the Driftwood Mall. It's the bigger store of the couple located in the Comox Valley. The produce is great and the prices reasonable. You have a pharmacy and a Chinese / North American restaurant, they do have breakfast in the morning and currently have seating available. This was really convenient for me since I was waiting for my car to get repaired at Canadian Tire. The staff are great, always helpful and happy. The only thing is the small bakery area, I like a wide variety of breads to choose from and trying new ones all the time. Regardless, I like popping in quick when I'm in the mall to pickup what I need before heading home, it's convenient.

Came to town and before checking into our hotel stopped for some food. To our surprise there was a Chinese Kitchen! Wow!!! The food was amazing! The portions were overflowing to the point where they could barely seal the lid! Highly recommend! Sooooo goooood! Don’t over order! Lol! ????

I originally bought a water bottle for the water cooler filling system here two years ago and since then the water system been broken and everytime I go there they won't refund my 18.9L water bottle. Now they keep telling me to drive to Comox when I originally bought this water and bottle here for it's convenience and location close to where I live. I shouldn't have to drive twenty minutes to pick up and fill a water bottle that they will not return as they can no longer serve their customers this brand.

It's a grocery store like any other....they have your typical soups and sandwhiches in the deli but also have a decent hot menu (the Chinese food is awesome and so are the prices!) What I like is -unlike most grocery stores- they have lots of tables and the dinning area is more like a proper restaurant(rather then just a row of bar stools and a counter like you see at other stores) This set up makes it way easier when you have kids to feed..baby seats and coloring books and whatnot are on hand , or maybe you are on lunch break and just want some time to eat, relax and read the newspaper - instead of being forced to sit next to (due to limited seating) some stranger whose talking your ear off , then this is the place to go!

Hit $1.49 day today. I've never been to one of those. You should go when they have them - it was awesome. I left with an entire bag of groceries instead of just the buns I stopped in for - lol! Schneider hot dogs 1.49, Newman's salad dressings 1.49, 6 Kaiser buns 1.49, Hertels bacon (Yum) 1.49 / 100 grams - the store is full of 1.49 items. Place is clean and well cared for - staff are friendly.

I was really excited to try the Chinese food here as I've heard nothing but good things about it. Really disappointed, chicken was hard, the rice was just plain white rice with mixed in frozen veg. Noodles were ok but I've had better. For the 11$ price I could've just gotten actual Chinese food from a proper Chinese restaurant. Half of the bowl was zucchini and onion, there was one piece of broccoli and half a piece of carrot. Not coming back here, at least not for the Chinese food.

The Chinese food counter always keeps the food fresh and cooked just right.I often choose this place over take-out.The store has groceries, pharmacy, floral dept., and a high end furnishings store upstairs that has very reasonable pricing.Beautiful trinkets , ornaments and other unique tasteful furnishings.

Pricey. I dont do my regular grocery hauls here because it's too expensive but it's close by so i run here for meat mostly, and some local products that are harder to find other places. Good deals on meat. Clean store, great staff. One thing that I noticed often is expired products being sold, or very close. I need to look at dates more obviously but I have brought several items back that have been expired.

Lots of grocery selection here. Excellent Chinese food stands in all of their locations. Going here makes me miss having quality foods when I am in downtown Vancouver. Friendly staff. Clean store. The meats aren't as good as Costco, and the prices aren't as good as Walmart, but quality foods is still a great option when going shopping for family groceries or some snacks.

Ever heard of a $5 breakfast in the last 10 years? Well, here it is. For just $5, you get a full breakfast as good as any served in the valley. Also, after breakfast, you can go shopping without buying impulsively on an empty stomach. Totally recommended!

It was ok until the cashier put our chop suey at the bottom of our bag and it made a mess of our car and clothing and we only live 5 minutes away. Somebody needs to teach the lady working in the express lane on how to pack a bag of groceries/food. We spent $62 on dinner last night and lost almost half of it in the bag and all over the place. I would have given no star but it doesn't go that low. I highly recommend you watch these cashiers pack your items or you too will end up wearing dinner rather than eating it!!

This Quality Foods was a really nice one actually. I like how you can always expect a certain standard from Quality Foods. Their Chinese food is usually the best in town. ( In my town anyway). They always have an excellent selection of quick hot and warmable food options. They have a great area where you can purchase Deli made sandwiches etc. It's a full-service grocery store with a deli meat department Bakery Confections Etc. They usually have a lot of things on sale.

Tired of the mislabeling of produce. Sign says BC sticker says Mexico. Sign says US / Mexico, sticker says Mexico. These are just examples of constant misleading labeling here. I have complained privately but it never changes. Just be honest. Ther is nothing wrong with importing produce but just be honest in your labeling.

Love this store for real and all staff. I tried a quiche from deli, ham & bacon one really mouth-watering, well baked on the top. Ideal for diner with a salad. Let me tell you first that I am a retired baker, so I know. Unfortunately, the bottom dough was raw, impossible to eat. very disappointing. Usually this happens when the garnish is poured to long in advance before the quiche is going into the oven, the dough becomes soggy. please pass the info thank you

Quality foods is great grocery store. They have high end produce and meat. I love their cafe, $5 breakfast can't beat that price on a decent real breakfast. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The store is always clean and well stocked. They have wide aisles and a brightly lit environment. The only downside is that it's expensive, but as they say you get what you pay for in quality. So I recommend you buy your produce, meat etc there and your processed foods somewhere else like Walmart or superstore. However, in saying that for the cost of gas and if you're doing a small amount of groceries buy at Quality Foods. Bonus is by shopping there you're contributing to the fireworks that they put on every August.

Always go for the Chinese food. Even though there was a lineup on Tuesday still got everything quickly. Checked out the gift shop upstairs and was so surprised! It's beautiful though pricey but there is even a cafe so you can relax and chill in a quiet environment.

New review: Signs posted everywhere about masks being required, but there were several maskless customers wandering around without being confronted or removed from the store. Really need to do a deep cleaning of the fish department. There should be no smell and thats not the case. I won't purchase anything from that depth because of the fishy smell. I love the store but the fish department doesn't cut it...
