I've picked up flowers from 5th Street Florist not directly from their store, but the products are always great quality. Their bouquets are so pretty, full of colour and vary in theme based on the time of year. They also use unique plants and other seasonal flowers, which always provides a fresh perspective! No pun intended ;)

I have used this florist several times. Their arrangements are very beautiful, however over priced. My place of work sent flowers after my surgery, paid over $100, my workmates were shocked it was so small. Recently my Mom passed away, many of my out of province relatives used 5th street. I’m sure hundreds of $$$ were spent. I greatly appreciated the bright bouquets. But again bouquets were not worth the cost. Yesterday my daughter and close family friend ordered specific flowers, requested NO substitutions to be sent to me. The arrangement was suppose to be large roses and hydrangeas bright pinks and purples. There were 2 large roses, mini roses no hydrangeas, mums and a another couple of small types. Certainly not a $100 bouquet. It’s very disappointing and I suggest if ordering from here especially if out of town, ask for pictures to ensure you are getting your value. Maybe the $100 would be better spent on a shrub or plant that will last. In the meantime 5th Florists, they are taking back the original and bringing another. So much for accepting responsibility for a client bringing a concern to a local businesses attention . The valley is small but we have a lot of choices for flowers to be sent to our loved ones.

I can't say enough about the people at 5th Street Florist. I called in on Dec. 23rd hoping I could possibly get a same day delivery for my friend's birthday. I was told they were swamped and not taking anymore orders for today and after checking they could POSSIBLY get one out for her tomorrow. The lady was so very helpful and friendly. I placed my order and was so happy that I would at least get my friend her flowers before Christmas. Also, wanted to send her a basket type Christmas arrangement that she could use as a centre piece if she chose to, but was told that they were not able to do that, but could do an arrangement either with or without a vase. I chose one with a vase, in reds and whites. Not more than 2 hours later, I saw my friend's post on Facebook thanking me for them! I couldn't believe it! And they were stunning AND they were in a basket! I was amazed and thrilled that they made my friend's day more special! Thank you 5th Street Florist for going above and beyond for my friend. Okay, these guys are amazing. I called them today from Texas to send flowers to a dear friend in their area. They have a website, but I decided to call just to make sure everything was available for the arrangement and that there wouldn't by any issues with my bank processing the payment. Not only did they deliver the flowers in literally less than an hour (seriously, closer to 45 minutes!), the arrangement (Beautiful in Blue from their website) looks as good if not better than the picture online. I'm honestly floored. Great job, 5th Street Florist.

I have been using 5th Street Florist for a few year now. My mom lives in the Valley and I am in Ottawa so I often send her flowers. The website is easy to use for ordering a bouquet. The staff is very friendly when I call and make wonderful suggestions for flowers. The delivery is prompt and accurate every time. When I am in the valley and can stop in the store I find the staff friendly and helpful. Definitely my favourite local florist.

Ariana was absolutely the most amazing florist. We just celebrated our daughter's wedding at Mt. Washington. We meet once with Ariana and explained our vision and she knew exactly what we were thinking . Our vision was unique and something she hadn't done before but she was eager to give it a try. When we meet a few weeks before the wedding she did a mock centrepiece. We were blown away that she was able to create exactly what we wanted. There were so many diffrent touches that she completely understood. When we walked in the day of the wedding I was just in awe of the beauty she created. The bride's bouquet was exquisite. She went the extra mile in making a toss bouquet and a darling "just married" sign. And she even gave the bride and groom a card. Arian was such a delight to work with. Someone who truly takes pride in her work. I recommend Ariana in the highest way.

My friend just moved into a new house in Courtenay and since I'm in Seattle I didn't know what florist to use so I googled florists in Courtenay. When I called 5th St. Florist, a very nice person named Stacy helped me and I told her since it was a new home and it was Easter the next day I wanted to make a nice arrangement for her to incorporate both occasions. I asked if I could get same day delivery and she said yes. My friend texted me later in complete surprise of such a gorgeous arrangement! It made her day so thank you 5th St. Florist and Stacy for helping me! I will be using you again in future!

Ordered an arrangement for my daughter on the birth of her new baby boy. We live at opposite ends of Canada so I put a lot of thought into what arrangement I wanted and where I would purchase it, reading all the reviews. I wish I could attach a photo as the flowers my daughter received looked nothing like the photo. There were no where near the amount of flowers in the received flowers as was suggested by the photo. My daughter thought they were cute but thought they cost less than half what I paid. When I emailed customer service I was told It was filled to value. I guess they meant “you got what you paid for”. I upgraded to a deluxe arrangement so I cringe to think what she would have received had I not upgraded! Total bill was $100.00 which included delivery. I guess, contrary to what I thought, that was their bargain basement arrangement. I was sad and disappointed. I wanted to show my daughter how much she meant to me and how I wished I could be there. I will be sending her another arrangement at home but will not be getting them from 5th Street Florist! The pictures, if able to attach, would tell the story! If I could, I would give no stars for the arrangement and customer service, because of their email reply. As for delivery and telephone manners, I thought they were lovely people.

Ariana and her team did the flowers for my wedding last weekend. Everything was gorgeous. The prices were reasonable and she did such a great job. I like flowers but know nothing about them. I showed her a couple of Pinterest photos and from that she created something really special and unique. She also did a great job of incorporating our colours into the arrangement. She and everyone I spoke to at fifth Street florist were really kind and helpful. Looking for a great woman owned business to work with? Here they are.
