Amazing shop, family tun for as long as I can remember and it's amazing to walk in there and be served by the entire family with a smile. They Cary a wide variety of West Indian, East Indian, and Latin foods as well. If your looking for something from the Caribbean in LaSalle this is your shop. Prices are reasonable and they sell meat and fish as well as vegetables. I love shopping there and recommend it to anyone looking for exotics foods.

As the only place in LaSalle to get westindian food and spices, we are all greatful. The owner is talkative and kind and the shelves are always full. The last time I went, the owner was not wearing a mask even though there is a pandemic going on and that contributed to me giving 4 stars. Also, alot of the time the packaged meat contains alot of bones which is a bit insulting because we pay 8.99\lb for goat alot of the time. It's not a cheap price to pay for goat bones

You can find items which may not be available elsewhere. These are imported items from Pakistan, India, Bangladesh or West Indies. The owners are Indian Sikhs. Very nice staff. However many of their items are much more in price than Maxi or even other speciality stores. Compare prices before you shop here.

We're from Costa Rica and this store has been our family's go-to for years! We buy all out special hispanic cooking items and spices like our Salsa Lizano, Goya products, and our typical produce like plantains, green bananas, yuca, and fresh corn tortillas, these items are not commonly found in the regular grocery stores in the area. Here you find all kinds of Caribbean, West-Indian products as well, spices, grains and a small butchery. Plus the family who runs it are great people, always very helpful and kind.

Great customer service... this family-run store is always so welcoming. They cake you feel at home. A lot of great west-Indian Caribbean foods spices and drinks. Best oxtail (not frozen) but get it while you can because they run out fast. Great selection of stuff (plantain chips, bun, Jamaican cheese, peanut drink, sofa crackers, hard dough bread, plantain, yam saltfish (salted cod), Caribbean soda pop etc all sorts of stuff just check them out. They also serve warm patties and a small section of hair products. Also you may find (when in season) breadfruit and nice size pear avocados.
